Small F/O prompt:
Darling: *sighs in distress*
F/O: *Mrs. Doubtfire voice* "Help is on the way, Dear!" *pushes everyone down*
I saw this meme on TikTok the other day, "for when your homies got your back to get the plan b ready;" honestly thought it was adorable.

Read this book legit just based off one whiney ass prolifers comment on goodreads (something along the lines of "this book is too political i couldnt even make it past chapter one!")
And...... No one even gets an abortion the entire book. It only mentions abortions a handful of times and in true prolifer fashion the prolifer who made that comment was actually just shitting on a book about losing your child (spoiler alert actually her child is dropped actually by a doctor). But like its just so true tp form that so many prolifers will hate on a book about generational loss and what having kids can mean to some and just because it *mentions* roe vs wade it MUST be a PrOaBoRtIaN Book 😒
Book is Millicent Glenn's Last Wish and is most certainly NOT about abortion or being political, unless of course you think women wanting to have their own bank accounts/money and be talked to when they go to the doctor rather than the dr talking to their husbands l, which sure some asshole probably does think is too political but just yea.
And also the book isnt even prochoice or prolife. The one mc is bitter as fuck about abortions being legal and hates her mom for an abortion she didnt even get (spoiler she didnt have an abortion the doctor killed her child after it was born ny dropping it on its head), and abortion itself is really only mentioned when it become legal in the time frame of the book, again on a backflash to when it was first made legal and mentions of backalley ones but no one got one its only mentioned bc one of the characters is an asshole and again shes being a bitch to the person who lost her child and telling lies to others about her personal medical history.
Like ive read some shit books and im not saying you have to finish books you start (tho i personally have to) but like. If you can't even get past the first chapter maybe you should read up on the rest of the book first bc that persons idea of what this book is, is so fucking far off??? But again im not surprised since prolifers do tend to piss and moan about how much they care about life and then turn around and say a?book about 3 generations (about to be 4) of women who learn about the history of their mom/grandmas life (and losing her second child) is "too political and too "proabortion" 🤔 like come on. Its not even about abortion.
