I have this idea for payneland:

Both of them get hit with some kind of spell of sorts that makes them "human" for 24 hours (basically like when they were alive: people can see them, hear them, touch them, they can taste and feel things again, the works)

What do you think they'd do in that time? Maybe taste their fav foods again?

So please bear with me as this will be more of brainrot than an actual fic because I just want to yap- but in my head, it would be kinda funny if the gang was able to get Tragic Mick to turn back into a walrus. The goddess Sedna would then "punish" the boys for daring to defy her- since she had said that Mick would never return to the sea if he chose to leave.

I feel like Sedna would lowkey have a soft spot for abused children, and would also see Mick's love for the sea, and on the inside not really be that mad tbh. Hence the "punishment". She'd "curse" Edwin and Charles to be alive once more.

They don't really know if it's permanent or whatever, but can you imagine the hilarity of Edwin being so used to phasing through walls and doors, then him just walking straight into a door and smacking into it because he's solid- Crystal would have a field day ribbing him for it.

I think, them being human would make them quite unable to take on cases, since admittedly them being regular humans (not everyone can be Crystal Palace Surname Von Hoverkraft okay) makes them vulnerable to beings like demons. So they'd have some downtime. That gives Charles time to think.

Being fully corporeal also allows Crystal to hang out with them like she would with living people. It also allows Crystal to notice things about them that would not have been possible when they were ghosts- like Charles blushing when Edwin adjusts his collar so it's up. Or how the two boys are so tactile. Sure, they'd always been tactile, but why does it seem Charles is extra touchy, now that both boys can feel physical touch?

I think Edwin, bitchy little nerd that he is (and we love him for it) would have a field day with Google. He'd struggle with whatever the fuck a laptop is, and how LED screens strain his poor eyes, and probs get those anti-blue light glasses, and Charles would have a bisexual awakening because Edwin in glasses???

Charles, on the other hand. I feel like boy would want to party. He strikes me as the kind of guy who would be fun at parties, and he'd probably drag the gang to a nightclub after spending the entire day eating different kinds of food (I think he'd enjoy cookie dough ice cream- but that's just me projecting my own cravings).

At the club, Charles might be a bit sulky because Edwin had spent a lot of the day on Crystal's laptop, despite them switching restaurants so that they could try everything- and he's thankful that the laptop is not present at the club.

Unfortunately, Edwin is Edwin, and his brand of anti-rizz also works on the living. You have living people coming up to him left and right, and Charles wonders why this hasn't happened much in death.

Crystal is fast to point out that it's because ghosts are invisible to regular humans. Edwin is not a ghost at the moment, so he's not invisible. She also makes it a point to tell Charles about exactly how many people had simped for Edwin in the afterlife (Monty, the Cat King, hello????)

I think Charles would then get drunk. One, because he's been a ghost for some thirty-odd years. Dude has no fucking clue what his alcohol tolerance levels are. Two, because he gets annoyed that Edwin is getting hit on so much.

There is a third reason that comes to mind once he's fully inebriated, and it's the fact that the following thoughts aren't exactly heterosexual

Getting pouty when your best mate isn't paying attention to you while you are having a meal together

Staring and practically drooling when your best mate is wearing glasses

Getting upset when guys and girls (despite Edwin's lack of interest in the latter) keep flirting with Edwin

Wanting to feel Edwin's touch while he has all his senses at full blast

The plot twist here is that since Edwin is also alive and fully corporeal, our repressed Edwardian boy has actually been icing Charles out because as a human, he does not have the luxury of willing erections away.

I think though, because it seems like immortal beings in the DBDA universe have a sense of humor (hi, Cat King and Esther- wicked as her sense of humor is), when Charles finally makes a move and pulls Edwin away from the admittedly gorgeous guy that had been chatting him up with a "He's in love with me, and vice versa, I'm afraid" and kissing Edwin in the middle of the dance floor, is when they turn back into ghosts.

Even though they're now invisible to most humans once more, Edwin is still quick to berate Charles on the PDA- though there's a softness to his berating.

They end up discovering that as ghosts, they can still feel physical sensations if there's enough emotion involved.

That is a fortunate discovery for all parties involved, especially for our girl Crystal Palace Surname Von Hoverkraft, who walks into the office a few days after the club debacle, and sees Edwin pressing Charles up against a bookcase, snogging him with a fervor, his thigh working its way in between Charles' legs---

"Hot," Crystal comments with a smirk, causing the two boys to jump apart with matching sheepish grins on their faces. "If I'd known Edwin kissed like that, I would've gotten it on with him instead."

Dates tend to be A compilation of them trying to have normal dates and making sure Senti doesn’t get herself into A shituation but they still love Senti (even if Fuhua sometimes want to strangle her while on dates despite her calm exterior),teaching basic self defense (and failing), along with bike rides

So for how they met simple post series Horobi was going about his business making sure Ark one couldn’t be revived with Jin untill he eventually met Yea and boom love bloomed between the human and Humangear

Did I forget to mention Yea has A child…well technically! Yea is only in his early 20s BUT during A humangear attack his older sibling got attacked and killed along with his wife only leaving A child by the time Aruto came to save the day back during the series

Which leaves A yea now taking care of his nephew who is so young he can barely remember his actual parents and spite towards Horobi and originally they were planning to keep it to that one meeting but they for some reason couldn’t stop meeting and getting into situations that leads to them learning more and more about the other leading to A love blooming

Now A official couple their children took only 3 seconds to get along and the four officially became A full family of 4

Their dates tend to include: a lot of walking around,testing out new things to see if Horobi likes…ANYTHING,hoping Jin doesn’t burn down the house watching his new little brother, and teaching Jin that giving A gun to A 3 year old is NOT A good idea

But after the series when the kingdoms united Hime decided to try streaming which he got A decent following (along with the kings he made friends with watching secretly when they get A chance) with Gira supporting him and him staying anonymous as Gira’s spouse

It was all normal untill one day where Hime forgot to turn on his waiting screen while he brb which lead to Gira coming into his office shirtless looking for his good shirt for A meeting and noticing A bit to late that he was being recorded and thus all the chaos started as Hime now has to start acting as his role and Gira trying to ease him into the whole “openly being A royal” lifestyle (as he has had plenty experience with)

Dates include: Hime trying to teach Gira how to play games,helping out at Gira’s old orphanage,trying to find peace through Gira now busy chaotic life, and napping…even the mad king needs A nap.

Aria was A “normal” Martian citizen going about her day in lianqiu untill she ran into Lantern during one of her odd jobs and helping her after she saw the other mess up and they strangely just kept running into each other and they proceeded to get super close (even if they haven’t verbally confirmed A relationship with each other)

Lantern has A habit of trying to do things by herself to not seem like A burden on Aria but somehow Aria always finds her around and helps her no matter what plus she is of some help during combat jobs (despite being A “normal” person with very little combat experience Carolie and Helia have mentioned that Aria was stronger than your average A rank valkire) also Lantern is fiercely protective over Aria even over little things

Aria tends to treat Lantern to candy with no charge as she just loves seeing Lantern’s expression as she eats it as she says “despite her having A resting bitch face it’s easy for me to tell when shes happy even with the slightest twitch” and Aria also tends to give out candy to kids (habit she developed from Lantern)

Their dates tend to be just helping Latern with her jobs but Aria does try to treat her often to fancy places to eat and the such (also a lot of candy)

How do you think the Rogues feel about Scarecrow being in a relationship with Batman?

hm, it will slightly depend on if jonathan is still remaining a full-blown villain, who have the whole ‘forbidden love’ thing with the bat, or if he was redeemed *i use this word loosely, mind you* an’ now pretty much hangs out with batman almost all the time, while also acting as batfamily's creepy, ex-convict step-dad. 

i will start with the second scenario, bc it’s the most straightforward one. but in there most rogues will pretty much see right through crane an’ know, that he’s not really changed. he merely toned some things down *basically, he’s forced to follow no kill rule too*, an’ while i think that they might try an’ use this against batman, to kinda shatter his beliefs when it comes to jon, the thing is … that bruce also knows it. he’s not that naive to think, that his love suddenly made crane empathic or caring. but jon having empathy an’ care for bruce, pretty much makes him act the part, where he won’t go out of his way to harm others. or at least, he won’t be as careless about it as he used to be. so when the manipulation tactic fails, the question raises. since if scarecrow didn’t worm his way into the bat’s heart an’ bed via lies, then how in the world did he even get there? 

if one look at batman an' scarecrow's relationships from a very surface level point of view, naturally, them getting together would seem baffling. but it's not what drives everyone onto the wall. it's exact fact, that despite their inability to understand 'whys' an' 'hows', all of this is clearly genuine.

therefore, the most devoted *an’ unhinged* of batman’s rogue-simps will be enraged an’ jealous by proxy. bc how come that it’s this scrawny strawgoblin, who landed himself a man like batman, an’ not them, who are clearly hotter / smarter / have ‘more in common’ with the vigilante an’ so on? to some of them, it's like slap to the face. an' no one takes it well, of course lol.

some take it worse, than the others tho. like, batman would have to make sure to not take scarecrow on the missions, which have anything to do with riddler or poison ivy. bc the first one will always end up in nerd on nerd violence. it’s like a battle between two gay reddit incels, where each party thinks that they are intellectually superior. an’ the second one can pretty much result in crane an’ pamela poisoning themselves an’ the whole gotham as result of their chemical warfare on one another, simply bc of the way ivy’s gimmick works. like whatever she has a thing for batman or not, her whole seduction schtick would make her actinons around bruce unacceptable for jon. an’ while it’s not super important here, i hc that poison ivy an’ scarecrow typically unaffected by each other’s toxins. at least, when it comes to how they are intended to work on a normal person. but they still can really mess one another up via it, since jonathan is allergic to some flowers an’ certain versions of his ft can actually harm ivy, as they can be considered being poisonous for plants in general.

in comparison to this, there also will be some rogues, who won’t care too much about any of this. bane prob won’t give a damn, either way. or man-bat. or clayface an’ so on. like for some of batman’s rogues, scarecrow’s involvement with the vigilante doesn’t really change much. not when it comes to how they view either of them. it’s more of like ‘oh, okay. kinda weird, but whatever’. i guess, their disbelief would also come from a place, that jonathan not exactly attractive nor esp nice or pleasant, when it comes to personality. at least, from how they know him. so for them, it just means that besides batman’s little bat-brats, they will also have to deal with this ‘new addition to the family’ in the face of scarecrow now. bc batman is addicted to picking up 'strays' or smth lol.

there are also be cases more specific such as the ventriloquist, who would actually be glad for crane as they are on more or less 'friendly terms' *saying this with tongue in my cheek*, meanwhile scarface will be low-key grossed out an’ state that he always knew that crane was a queer, but was surprised that batman is one too. bc what can you do, he’s one old fashioned bigoted dummy lol. harley *BTAS one* would be ecstatic about it, finally she will have someone she can talk about ‘boys’ with! bc ivy doesn’t do it with her lol. an’ speaking of BTAS, the mad hatter from that universe prob will feel low-key betrayed by crane, since he assumed like they were pals *they were not* an’ that jon might have sympathized with his story *he did not* an' now look at him. there he is, sucking face with the man, who jervis thinks ruined his life, even tho, he ruined it himself lol. basically, while some rogues might think that it's good to see jonathan finding love, others will think that he's a total asshole for not caring about their fee-fees on the matter.

*also some of rogue's individual reactions might also depends on the verse we are talking about, an' be complete opposite to what their other counterpart feels. like arkhamverse harley would throw hands with crane an' wish to murder the hell out of him, bc batman killed her trashman puddin, but crane doesn't seem to give a fuck. besides the one he shares with bruce lol.*

an’ then, there be joker, who would think that this is hilarious an’ the funnest thing since invention of fart cushions. despite common belief, that he should be the most pissed off party in this, i think, that he actually be a bit relieved. he’d rather have scarecrow as batman’s lover, than his new arch-enemy. since bruce’s an’ jon’ previous closeness might have lead the clown to believe, like he’s being replaced in that regard. besides, both arkhamverse an’ BTAS jokers have harley, so he prob would assume like jon is that for bruce too. someone to pass the time with. a companion, who while serves as a good distraction, doesn’t get the main picture or smth along those lines. like, your typical joker’s delusional stuff. so for him out of everyone this coupling would make the most sense. esp since there are some twisted parallels which can be drawn from how joker ‘made’ harley in who she is, an’ how batman influenced jonathan into ‘getting better’, but it’s all backwards. the joker be 'supportive', but he will also make fun of their sentiments toward one another too. so y'know, the classic.

now, if we take the situation, where jonathan isn’t on batman’s side per say an’ still a villain, an’ a serial killer, then things will be a bit more complicated. for one, nothing will hold him back too much. he still might dial his homicidal deeds down a notch, but i imagine, that if one of batman’s other rogues would have ended up really hurting bruce / nearly killing him an’ so on, scarecrow might pretty much came after them with little to no regard about what batman would think about it. in certain ways, a typically villainous jonathan possess an emotional intelligence of a wooden log an’ can’t truly picture why this would be devastating for bruce vs more stable version of crane who can at least grasp the reasoning behind some of bruce’s actions. it doesn’t mean, that he feels the same about the subject at hand or even shares the opinion, but he’s more ready for compromises. he can finally understand that some things will hurt bruce an’ disappoint him, even if crane himself doesn’t see anything too horrible about killing a person who hurt bruce in the past. comparably, the fullblown villain jonathan doesn't have this insight, nor he can see past his own blinding rage. he will do what he thinks is 'right' an' deserved, not what bruce might have wished he did instead.

an' all of this paints not a very nice picture for batman’s other rogues. this crane basically still remains on the same side of the law as them, but also now act like what they do is somehow worse, than what he did an’ still might do. he’s also crazy possessive over the bat now, an' doesn't even try to hide that he's more than willing to hurt / torture an' murder them, if they cross some unknown line. an’ on top of that, he doesn’t even get scolded for his zealousness enough. at least from their perspective, since batman doesn’t outright ejects him. or even seem to give up on him. in some form, this situation makes scarecrow more deserved of their jealousy an’ anger, than if crane decided to ‘better himself’ for the sake of being next to the batman 24/7. this also would pretty much make jonathan even more of an outcast among them, than before. which in all fairness isn’t very new to him. in the comics, he’s pretty much implied to always be looked down upon by them, anyways. it’s just that if some of rogues would try to mess him up too much, they will prob met batman’s fist in the private an’ with more force than usual. cuz bruce doesn’t like when someone else bullies crane. only he can do it lol. it also will be more than apperent now, that batman does play favorites to some degree, an' it's a huge oof for some of the rogues.

but once again, there will be some rogues who won’t be too alarmed by this. they just might try to avoid direct confrontations with crane, if they can help it. bc they know that he can put an effort into creating the sort of chemicals, which might reduce them to a forever scared, bedridden vegetable. an' no one wants that, i imagine. 

there will be some dynamics existing on outskirt of this as well. like, in both of those major cases, of jon being with the bat or against him, but also not really, scarecrow an’ two-face would most likely be pushed into medium, where they are forced to tolerate one another. esp in versions, where two-face knows that batman an’ bruce wayne are the same person. otherwise, i feel like two-face will give crane a side-glances, when the word get out that he an’ batman doing dirty tango together. but it’s also like … not super surprising. just means that crane can’t be trusted, even more than usual. an' that batman is actually more freaky, than some people think lol.

oh, an’ penguin in both versions of events would prob have troubles with processing them fully, so he won’t address it for a while. until he will get his wits back an’ be an asshole about it. but jon can be mean back, so eventually, oswald would shut up about it, an’ just hate crane even more, bc he’s historically been someone who he looked down upon, yet now, he’s envious of him. not even in terms, that scarecrow landed himself a hottie like batman *this too tho*, but just that even a sad, fugly monster like crane found someone who can see smth good in him an’ love him, even with all the awful parts. an’ penguin is typically not all that lucky.

an' ah, that's about it, haha. hopefully, this more or less paints a coherent picture in how i see other rogues viewing bruce an’ jon’s relationships. as funny enough, i don’t tend to think in depth about how other characters react to my otp, unless said characters are literally presented in the situation or scene. like, i can’t imagine alfred not knowing about batman an’ scarecrow as soon as they become a thing, mostly bc he’s always around bruce in some ways an’ he’s bruce’s closest ally-friend an’ father figure in one. jon, on other hand, doesn’t have any character, he’s particularly close with. i also doubt, that he will go around telling other rogues about his escapades with batman, not even bc of common sense *he still have some of it*, but also bc he’s very possessive of the moments they share together. he doesn’t want anyone else to get even a lick of what he’s getting, he's a greedy little goblin.

Out of the main Isekai Quartet protagonists (Tanya, Ainz, Kazuma), which of them would you most want to see summoned to the re zero world in Subaru's place? And regarding the one you'd least wanna see, how would their journey go?

As someone who barely watched all of the above series, I think Tanya is probably the most interesting to see while Kazuma is the least I'd wanna see.

Starting from Kazuma, he is pretty much just WN Subaru lmao. Being a scummy pervert, he is unlikely to gain respect from Rem and Ram and would even choose to be freeloader. I doubt he would even choose to become Emilia's knight, since he is only there to live a comfortable life.

If we don't consider Return by Death as a factor, Kazuma is probably going to request for tons of money off Roswaal and just goes off to Kararagi to live a comfortable chill life by making use of his japanese ideas similar to what he did in Konosuba. If he meets Halibel, they are likely going to be really good drinking buddies lmao. But overall, Kazuma is likely to choose to avoid staying in contact with people who are in dangerous situations and even if Emilia is a beautiful girl, he doesn't have any reason to support her. This guy doesn't really fall in love that easily, he might get horny sure, but he would rather ensure his own comfortable life more than trying to support Emilia in the royal election.

But if Return by Death is a factor, Kazuma is likely similar to Subaru but he would probably complain a whole lot about how he is forced to save Emilia camp and maybe a little less likely to really go out his way to save ordinary folks. He would try if he could and with his intelligence, he is likely to be able to come up with better plans than Subaru did in preventing deaths. But it's all up in the air, Kazuma is definitely not that kind that would push himself so far for people, but Roswaal requires him in his plan so Kazuma had no choice but follow the script up to Arc 4. Honestly... He is probably going to whine a lot about how unlucky he is and might even actually take up Echidna's deal but he is also too smart to fall for Echidna's tricks. I'd say, as a huge Subaru simp, he is just a less appealing version of Subaru hahaha.

Ainz? I mean, if some overpowered skeleton guy just ends up in Re:zero, he is probably going to get hunted down by Reinhard immediately. But if he ends up there as a human, he is probably also going to die a lot too and I don't know how he is as a human to comment much about what he would've done. He is a really paranoid guy so he would probably do tons of mental gymnastic to get out of his situation but even then, I am not actually sure he would be like without being Ainz the king of nazarick hah. He is probably going to be very cringe trying to use game skills only to obviously fail.

Tanya though, assuming she gets summoned there as a little girl, is likely going to end up being taken into an orphanage and probably just figure out her way around there. Depending on how Rezero orphanage works, she would probably study her way up and might even consider supporting a camp in the royal election. She is prob the type to support Crusch or Priscilla... Maybe Anastasia a close third... But this is just my own assumption (I really don't know Tanya enough to say much LMAO, wiki said she is Libertarian but guess who lives under a rock when it comes to politics...)

I feel like if Priscilla had met her, she would deem her interesting enough to keep around. But Tanya might attempt to manipulate Priscilla and Priscilla would just force her into submission and remind her who is the person in power. Tanya will play as a fool for some time and try to act innocent but over time I do think Tanya will find it frustrating being stuck under Priscilla's control but eventually sees how effective Priscilla's methods are and would consider supporting Priscilla. Well, again, I didn't watch nor read Tanya to really know much about what Tanya would choose. But I feel like out of every rezero character, Priscilla can totally fix Tanya amirite (delusional blind yapping)

Adam banged the door to your shared bedroom open which caused you to flinch and hold the blanket you had pulled over your head even tighter. “Rise and fucking shine, bitchboy,” his voice was loud, he wasn’t yelling, he was just speaking loudly to make sure you would hear him no matter if you were asleep or awake. “Leave,” you quietly responded, your voice was shaking and you sounded like you had been crying for a long time - which you hadn’t. But you were not doing well mentally and the least thing you needed in that moment was Adam telling you to simply suck it up and push through. You had been sucking shit up and you had been pushing through for so long and it only caused you to end up worse.

You felt how the mattress lowered as he sat down next to you. His hand came down to rest where he suspected your head to be, gently pulling the blanket away. The strength to fight against that, to yell at him to simply fuck off and leave you be was not within you anymore so you simply let it happen with a sigh. Why couldn’t he just listen to your words, why was he always doing the opposite of what you said? Was he trying to push your buttons? Well, that time it didn’t seem like it, because when you looked up at him concern reflected in his usually confident eyes. A thing that made you wonder if it was about to turn out differently from what you had thought. “Okay what the fuck crawled up your fucking ass and how the hell do I pull it out without fucking destroying you?” he asked dead serious and despite his weird way of wording it, he actually seemed worried - not only that, he had also offered you help. You had the chance to tell him how to help you.

There was just one tiny problem with that: you had no idea how he could help you - you didn’t even know how you were supposed to help yourself because you weren’t aware what the problem was to begin with. You knew that you felt down, that your body felt like there was no energy left inside of it to keep you going. You felt like sleeping all day and all night for the rest of forever, but that simply would not do. So you remained silent - why speak when you had nothing to say and the energy of your body was almost non existent? Adam sighed at the response he didn’t get and gently ran his hand through your hair - where all those gentle touches came from you didn’t know but you did know that you needed them more than anything. And that was why you leaned into his touch without hesitation. Your eyes fell shut and your body focused on Adam’s touch.

“There ain’t shit I can do, huh?” His voice was quieter now and you appreciate him lowering his voice a little very dearly. That was when the brunette pushed the blanket away entirely and just as you were about to complain about it he replaced it with his wings, pulled you close against his chest and kissed your head. “You fucking know that I have no freaking idea how to properly comfort your sad ass,” and while the way he phrased it would’ve caused others to think that he didn’t care at all, you knew better. It was simply how he talked, even during serious situations. It was his coping mechanism that you had learned throughout the years with him.

You wrapped your arms around the taller angel as you pressed your face against his chest, giving in to the urge to hide away from God’s eyes - from Heaven’s eyes. “Just stay,” you mumbled into the fabric of his shirt as you inhaled his scent deeply. He gave you comfort. The world could turn against you and yet Adam would stay, that was something you knew and that knowledge gave you the comfort you needed. And so did his body warmth, his scent, his presence, the touch of his feathered wings against your bare skin.

Adam sighed again, then he spoke up again, “Whatever the fuck you’re going through, you’re not alone, got that? I won’t fucking leave you to yourself to rot.” You smiled against his chest, placing a soft kiss onto the fabric that covered up his skin as a little thank you. A thank you you were unable to voice, afraid you’d fully fall apart. You didn’t want to cry, not when Adam was doing his best to make you feel better and though you knew you were allowed to cry, you swallowed the tears and simply embraced the comfort Adam was providing.

And for a single moment the world seemed to stop for the both of you and the weight on your shoulders felt less heavy.

Hello <3 Listen I've started playing re8 and i've had my first encounter with the Dimitrescu family and I am here wondering why the hell didn't I play this sooner so I could obsess over this even sooner, but oh well. So I know you're cooking up a story where they meet the Denalis and I was like walking through the castle and my mind started asking questions. So ofc I imagine you don't wanna give away details of your story because then you wouldn't be able to tease us with lil spoilers and where's the fun in that, right? ;P So instead lemme write down what came to my mind and ask your opinion on that, let's dive into my delulu-land vision XD Tbh is nothing like super elaborated bc you know just rnadom throughts that came to mind so bear with me bc it probably makes 0 sense ok? SO it made me think like in a more kind of "modern" set up, where the Denalis are already vegetarians, they've lived a veeery long life, yk kind of like things are in the Twilight movies/books. In my mind it was like for X reason they were moving from Denali to another place to live, be because the Volturi, bc they had been exposed and therefore they need to gtfo before shit hits the fan (I blame the drones if that's the reason tho) IDK it could be literally any reason, it is unimportant. They somehow end up finding the castle, they meet this vampires who are like super different from them (In my mind I think is cool they can eat human food and sleep and shit eve n though perhaps they don't need it so I'd probs keep that for all vamps in any possible story but that's out of the question XD) and they ofc live very differently from them, the castle ofc doesn't mantain itself, so they have ppl working there for them and they probs dispose of them as soon as they stop being useful, they drink human blood, they make a game out of their hunts and seem to enjoy the pain they inflict before actually drinking the blood. Meanwhile the Denalis started drinking animal blood to stop killing the humans they slept with (With other reasons in the mix too but in the end it was to rpeserve human life) and they've lived away from humans, living in secret and all that shit, like is two complete different worlds they live in. Now all that to make this questions: Say Lady D offered them a place to stay in the castle for reasons unknown bc I hadn't actually thought about it tbh, I don't think she'd mind if they kept their boring vegetarian lifestyle, but they have a choice now to keep it or instead go back to human blood, which honestly seems more tasty and the better option, do you think they'd take it? Would they agree and stay in the castle? Would they leave? Idk f there would be any consequences if they decide to leave though, and in case of staying what about the coven itself? I mean Tanya's the leader, but it matters little I think her title in the castle bc I am not sure if Lady D gives a duck about it honestly, it's her castle after all(?) And final question I promise: How do you think they would adapt to this "new life" in the case they accept Lady D's offer of staying? You think someone might have more of a hard time with it? Will they talk/argue about it among themselves? Consider their options? I have a feeling that Tanya would not take any offer without speaking first to her coven, they are family after all and whatever they do will affect all of them, so yeah. Also this probably makes no sense as I stated before, it was a bunch of random thoughts that I poorly put together so yk don't feel like you gotta answer to all that nonsense XD And I still have not finished the game, just barely started it so idk, perhaps I'm missing some important lore, or something is inadequate, anyway thanks for reading my delulu-bible and for recommending me to go play the game <3 <3 Have a nice day :D

Lemme start by giving some canon info (which hopefully won´t spoil anything for you):

the Dimis aren´t actual vampires

they are what they are because of a parasite aka The Cadou

they need to sustain themselves on human flesh and blood because of it (for survival & to maintain their powers)

Lady D will grow to the point she mutates out of control if she doesn´t (I´ve read that somewhere)

the Daughters are made entirely of flies

those flies will die if exposed to the cold (yet another thing that´s entirely different from Twilight vampires, who can only be fully destroyed through fire)

Lady D has no such "weakness"

the pain they inflict upon their victims is not necessary for feeding

they just enjoy being cruel

they turn their staff into wine at some point

or use them for experiments ("Moroaicǎ")

With all of that said: I totally agree that it´s a clash of two entirely different worlds. But that´s what makes it so interesting.

I also kinda HC that The Dimis see vampires as some kind of role models? In a way? Like, they clearly enjoy this lifestyle (a bit too much), so I feel like meeting some actual vampires - the real deal - would be like meeting a popstar or smt. At least to the daughters. (Dani would swoon.)

Tanya would never make decisions without discussing it with her coven first. Not those that could be life-altering, at least. They'd only stay if everyone agreed to it. And, even then, I'm not sure it would be a permanent stay. I mean-

I'd say it depends "which" Denalis we're talking. If we take the more deranged ones from my story (The Sisters) then I can defo see them agreeing to a permanent stay in the castle. Human life means next to nothing to them, aside from being their food source ofc. And while they might not agree with everything that's happening in the castle (some of the things going down in the cellar are...tough, even for them), they'd never judge the Dimis for their lifestyle, seeing how they're far from being saints themselves. One as corrupted as the other, I´d say.

If we take the veggie/modern Denalis, on the other hand-

I mean, the sisters killed ppl before. Loads of them probs. Therefore, the Dimis sustaining themselves on human blood and flesh isn't as appalling to them as it would be to your usual human. But it's how they do it (torturing their victims and basically getting the most out of it before they deliver the final blow) that makes them feel...conflicted. Most of their kind (as in: actual vampires) usually don´t draw it out longer than necessary. Mainly because they´ll succumb to their bloodlust almost immediately, sucking their victim dry in a matter of seconds. That (thankfully) doesn´t leave much room for any kind of torture.

With that said-

It´s still difficult, lmao.

I feel like our modern Denalis would defo be intrigued by the Dimitrescus. Then they´d be appalled. Then Lady D comes in with all that charm of hers, laying it on real thick yknow, basically downplaying the things that are happening in that castle full of blood and death. Then the daughters come in with their buzzing personalities. Then the Denalis would be intrigued again. And so on-

And before you know it, years have passed.

That´s the only way I can see our modern Denalis stay in that castle over an extended time period. Cause time works just differently for vampires, yknow. Years are like seconds to them. All one and the same. Doesn´t really matter. Not when you got eternity anyway.

Would the Denalis switch to human blood during that time?

I think that´s entirely possible. That castle is pretty much filled with human blood - it´s everywhere: In the cellar, in the kitchen, in the storage rooms, in the wine glasses, etc. It lurks around every corner, constantly putting our sisters to the test. It´s like waving a piece (more like a bar) of chocolate in front of someone who´s been living on dry toast. Resisting becomes almost impossible under such conditions.

And the Dimis know that.

Am I suggesting that Lady D and her unruly daughters might try and seduce the Denalis back to human blood by deliberately leaving it out in the open, ripe for the taking?

Would there be any consequences if the Denalis decided to leave?

As I said before, the Denalis pose an actual threat/challenge to Lady D. Neither her nor her daughters could do much to stop them from leaving, if they decided to do so. Doesn´t mean they wouldn´t try though. Lady D is a narcissist and rejection isn´t something she handles well. Her daughters share that sentiment.

Lemme start by saying Kate would struggle the least. I mean, the struggle would still be there, but she´s never been one to back down from a challenge. She´s also not one to shy away from the unknown - on the contrary: Out of the three of them, Kate is probs the one most likely to go "only one way to find out", YKNOW?? No risk, no fun, and all that.
