They were not kidding when they said your favorite interests years ago don’t disappear but just go dormant until you get back into it. Thinking of emerald duo and the banger of a line that was "for you the world, Phil" that was such an insane thing to say. They were THE duo. Nobody could rival what their characters had. No other character duo had this deep of understanding like they did.

Before the doomsday event when techno gave him his only totem of undying to Phil and telling him to drink invisibility pots away from the battle ground. Phil letting himself be used by Techno as the last resort at the drop of a hat as his hidden blade and Techno never allowing for such a situation to occur. Techno trusting Phil with a compass of his location after losing all trust in other characters. Phil trying to aim for the falling anvil with a bow. Techno lashing out at the possibility that they hurt Phil while he's being sent to his execution because there is no world that Phil would willingly give out his base location. Their log cabin connected with a bridge. Iconic. Techno telling Phil that his code name should be Zephyrus not Daedalus because he is so much more than his son's killer. Phil seeing Techno as a kind man in a world that sees him as a living threat. Techno always assuring others that Phil is very capable despite his wings being damaged beyond repair. It was like if you had a target on your back from one, you best believe the other did too.

lol very good timing indeed. They are definitely interesting… first because their fight over c!Punz is hilarious XD But also the parallelism of c!Tubbo and c!Punz is cool.

They are both too loyal and supportive for their own good, enabling and helping their friend to make poor and detrimental choices. C!Tommy drags c!Tubbo into conflicts and things he questions, but even when he disagrees he still is right by c!Tommy’s side. And c!Punz sticks by c!Dream’s side even as he spirals, sticking to the plan even when things have clearly gone wrong. They would die for eachother and risk running into highly dangerous situations right along side their friend. Interesting, C!Punz and c!Tubbo on their own tend to be wholesome friends with everyone, but c!Tommy and c!Dream manage to pull them into chaos and conflict. Oddly, too they are both into bees which is cute (why are they not the bee duo?!…). There is also the parallelism of c!Tubbo betraying c!Tommy and sending him to exile and c!Punz betraying c!Dream and sending him to prison. And neither c!Punz nor c!Tubbo visit them while away in isolation. Oh and they are also all blonds lol. XD

I know we've analyzed a lot of Azriel and Elain interactions (admittedly mostly to debunk Elriel theories), but I'm so curious to see how Gwyn and Lucien will interact with each other (I am praying with all hope that they will end up meeting). Given Gwyn's ancestry there is a lot of speculation that she might be related to the Vanserras, and her last name "Berdara" (presumably her mother's) might trigger a memory in Lucien whether he's her grandfather (noooo I did not just say that 😭) or Eris is her grandfather (...) or somebody else. I mean there was that random throwaway line about Sangravah in Lucien's thoughts in ACOWAR... I've also seen theories where Tamlin is her father and oh god the CHAOS.

And if anyone has any Gwynriel and/or Elucien fanfics where Gwyn and Lucien are friends or interact please leave a rec 👀 Yes that was my ulterior motive LOLLLL

Honestly, I got to admit I kinda of ship TopJade for while, but after reading it how problematic it is, I decided to stop shipping them. Is that's normal that I shipped them first, but then I decided to stop it. Also, what's your thought of AvenPaz? I honestly like this ship, but I'm also not a huge fan of it.

eh, when it comes to shipping i generally try to stay away from it because ive been attacked before when i was in the genshin community. i wanna say that i would count as a multishipper but at the same time maybe rarepair enjoyer too? idk shipping is kinda weird sometimes and ive gotten enough attacks to just be repulsed by it lmao. as long as the ship isnt problematic (for example: adult x child, incest, step-cest, any form of cest, abused x abuser etc etc) than i have no problem. same with avenpaz, idc if theyre a ship or not, theyre just very cute together. topaz seems to care deeply for aventurine and for someone like aventurine who never really had tenderness in his life, is a good thing but it may also throw him off

Piggybacking of my previous post since I didn't want to get off topic, but Inquisition has this issue in general where I don't think the writers quite realised what they were implying with certain things so you're never given the opportunity to get into it. I know it's most likely crunch-related oversight, but wowee.

One glaring instance I can recall of the top of my head (because I'm never not thinking about it) being the way Fiona mentions scuffles between Mages and Templars within the Inquisition after you move to Skyhold, but when you run to Cullen you can exhaust his dialogue and not hear a damn thing about it. Which I love! It can be read as him really letting his cop shine by "dealing with it internally" and not reporting to the Inquisitor, but it's most likely just a case of the writing team being like "we forgor".

In general I don't think anyone realised that they were making him into a jackass. Because I don't mind he is one, I mind that the game doesn't seem to know about it? He didn't change that much from the previous games, only the narrative's treatment of him did. He's not villain-adjacent anymore, he's a part of the hero's inner circle! He can't be an ass! Except they only remembered to tell people he's not an ass without any actual growth. It would be infinitely more interesting if the lack of growth was acknowledged and he was put in somewhat of an anti-hero territory? At least when paired with a pro-mage Inquisitor.

Chapter 19: Half/Half

They both get in their own way. Harrison with the bobby pin he’d stolen from the nurse, Reeve by kicking in a stained-glass window on the roof’s dormer. He could use the key card Estelle gave him but doesn’t want any surprises. She could charm someone else like she charmed Daniel from Orange County but has had enough of sweating into men for one night.

Harrison doesn’t need to see in the dark. He’s been in the library once and navigates it a second time with ease. Tunnels in the library’s basement, he reminds himself as he hustles between shelves.

Tunnels in the library’s basement. Reeve finds them easy enough. She spent a year learning to be invisible out of survival, learned exactly how to move through crowded streets as if she were not there at all; she does the same inside an empty library with grace. Down a hall, then a staircase, turn left, right.

Left, right. Harrison might not be as graceful as Reeve, but he sure is determined. A door labelled EXIT in cherry red letters blazes near the drink cart he and Foster had previously taken their share of. It can’t be that easy, can it?

It’s easy, how Reeve drops down another flight of stairs, and then another. She is air, a feather falling from a raven’s wing.

A wing of hallways beyond the EXIT door. Harrison follows them until he reaches a staircase on the right, yanking off the security guard’s jacket and gloves as he goes.

Go. This is the only thought in Reeve’s mind. She needs to move like a spider effortlessly scaling its web. She needs to find Lonan.

Lonan. What will Harrison even say to him when he sees him? He races down another flight of stairs, and then another, until there aren’t anymore, the thought and his pace juddering his heartrate. Go, he thinks. Go.

Go.

Go.

They collide.
