Here’s Ref Sheets for all the wolves in my prints. I spent a bunch of time on getting the fur patterns right for these guys but it made making everything much easier when drawing.

I had so much fun designing these guys and it was great practice. Maybe I’ll do more wolves in the future. Probably not for a little while tho.

I included the CMYK colours I used  as many of the flags colours aren’t in the CMYK range. When paired with shadows and highlights you can make it look a lot closer to the intended colours.

If you want to use these designs for anything then go ahead!, they’re all free to use if you want to. Credit or reblogs are always appreciated.

Request Rules and such:

I take requests for many things. Ships, scenarios, just general art/ideas, however there is a catch: I decide how I do it.

I choose how much I stray from the original idea, I choose how good the quality is, and I choose if I do it or not. I will take what I'm given as merely a suggestion(unless it's like. a character ref, then I'll stick as close as I can) and if I stray away from it, oh well. if I go too far I'll feel bad, but I typically won't anyways.

The art I provide is free, if you want to have control over everything, that's what comissions are for. Now, funny thing, I dont have those set up(yet). Which means all art I do is free, and if you want something for free, you get what you get or you don't. Simple as that. Thanks for understanding :)

Also, I do oc stuff! Oc fanart, oc x/& canon, oc x/& oc, whatever else you can think of, that's alright with me! This follows the same request rules tho.

do you have any advice for someone who can't go to art school or take art classes (because i'm majoring in a completely different feild) but wants to improve on their art? lke any books or digital tutorial packages?

whew, I hope I can answer this in a non jumbled way. In my opinion anon, the key to improving one’s art can totally be found outside of classes/school. To me the biggest factors that affect change in art are references and studies, exploration, and practice.( Also tumblr user names will be bolded instead of @’ed cuz I’m too embarrassed of having people who’s blogs I’ve followed/lurked on see me haha )

Refs and Studies

Doing studies and using references are great way to learn more about what you are drawing and how to render it. Luckily we are in an age where we can easily find models for what we want to produce (tho, of course there’s advantages to real live models but that’s another thing) and Tumblr is full of art masterposts of references for stuff like anatomy, color, shading, etc. Not exactly a blog dedicated soley stuff like that but safetytank is wonderful and is where I find a great deal of material I work with. PLUS they have handy dandy art reference tags (plus they’re a pretty neat person imo so should def follow them)

Exploration/Experimentation

One of my instructors once mentioned that the greatest thing to do to stimulate your creativity and improve is to see what the world has to offer, and by that he meant opening yourself up to influences that are different from what you’re used to. Seeing different forms/movements of art or even just watching a new show or reading a different book can give you new ideas or techniques you can implement in your own work. Myself, one of my major influences came from gosh dang Baroque art, but the bright color choices I try to use? Internet influence. Eh, I’m rambling but POINT IS looking at different media can help build up your artistic viewpoint.

Idk if the blog is still active at this point but I used to follow and view resources-for-a-rainy-day often to just see new creative stuff. Def would say to follow people’s inspiration blogs!

Aaaaaaand of course, practicing

practicing suck because it means having to do stuff (nothing sounds so much more relaxing y’know?) BUT it is necessary. Whether its doing still-lifes over and over to understand volume, shape, and dimensions or drawing body parts over and over to get them right (feet still continue to be the bane of my existence :/) it’s all going toward something.

Oh boy, this is all probably a lot of just nonsense rambling but I sincerely hope some of this stuff can be of benefit to you anon and I hope you make amazing things!
