a messy explanation of things and unnecessary information about life lately

soooo... right. i’m sorry i haven’t really been around aside from popping in here and there, and that i’ve been taking longer than usual to reply to things / not replying to things at all. it’s NOT that i’m upset with anyone or trying to ignore / avoid anyone, and it’s not that i don’t care / don’t love talking to you (whomstever you may be) i love chatting with y’all and wish i could get myself to reply to things quicker but i do not control the me lmfao honestly my sleep has never had a schedule but in recent weeks it’s kinda been operating like there’s a lil gremlin in my head who spins a wheel and picks my sleeping times at random - and it’s either like.. two hours or most of a day. there hasn’t been a lot of in between so that’s a thing!!

also in a fun added mix of maybe sleep?, missing meds, being stuck in the house more often than not, and the FUCKING EVERYTHING happening in the world right now my mental health is... probably run by the same goblin that runs my sleep schedule lmao consistency whomst?? since the lockdown started the depression has of course been around more but actually, worse than that, is how my anxiety - and by extension: my ocd - have really amped up and i need y’all to know that the struggle is painfully real (and another thing that affects shit like my replies and writing. reading as well. fics have been kinda stressful and that should be illegal. who authorized this?) i don’t hate talking about it but i don’t really like it either?? especially like.. in depth. but i will say there has been crying, screaming, pain!, and i’ve acquired a few physical injuries.

ON A PERSONAL LEVEL - THE FULL LEVEL - THINGS.... are pretty great actually! i mean aside from the state of my fucking house e__e but Josh has been working from home for two (2) months now and it’s been really nice - people complaining about their partners being home?? can’t relate. yknow what?? i just might love that tall bastard even more from all this.fuck all y’all miserable fucks

we’ve been going out for drives and we’ve gone fishing and the only place i’ve gone too that’s re-opened is goodwill. because i require.. the shop. they do have a masks required rule! (at least at the one here) and, alongside that, the places we’ve gone that never closed (like grocery stores and the gas station and the hardware store) have social distancing rules and stuff in place which i love. can we keep social distancing after this is all over?? more things here in wisconsin are opening up and we might go to some. idk though. we also might not. either way its still a weird kind of exciting to see things opening back up?? even though i do think we’re not totally in the clear because most of our gov. sucks (our mayor tried to extend our stay-at-home order - keyword there is TRIED. we are the land of cheese, cows, and no fucking braincells for anyone)

having pets is obviously not a new thing for me but it’s still a thing. so it takes time and effort and energy and patience and love and a certain disregard for your own safety (claws. they really be as sharp as you think) so... it can be stressful, especially cuz we’ve had to keep them inside more as it gets hot out and something keeps breaking our porch screens (our cats are allowed onto our screened in porch or they can go out in a harness but we will never let them run free outside. fuck that noise) my bbies are all so cute and their personalities and idiosyncrasies are just... *chefs kiss* i love em and they’re definitely a part of what has made quarantine better

i’ve seen my mom a few times, like for my birthday and when she needed help moving Isaiah from one dorm to another and such, but that’s primarily been an option because she has become anti-mask and anti-stay-at-home-order. initially she wasn’t - she gave Isaiah and i fun lil masks since at that time trying to buy them would be impossible and she thought nothing of staying home - but i guess either as its dragged on or as she’s consumed her middle-right wing news that changed s o. she does take social distancing in public very seriously though, so at least there’s that. our favorite coffee shop, where we - pre-lockdown - always went one (1) or two (2) times a week to do art for hours re-opens on monday and that’s one of the few things i’ve truly missed.

josh’s camping trip for this weekend with his friends had to be cancelled because the parks weren’t going to open in time. so today they’re going somewhere to do at least some of the things they would have done if they had gone camping. bikes, bonfires, and cigars. i’m kinda jealous negl but he was really excited about it so mostly i’m happy

trying to figure out how human services was running things during lockdown was rough but thankfully it didn’t take much to get it sorted. mostly because my mom made the phone call i was supposed to lol (the phone anxiety is on its own level) so wednesday afternoon my mom sat with me while i had the appointment with my psychiatrist over speakerphone (which was.. an experience)

ummm.....

OH YEAH! Probably absolutely my favorite thing that’s happened is: WE’RE STARTING THE SEARCH FOR A NEW HOUSE!!!! it doesn’t mean we’re gonna be moving soon or anything, we don’t want to make the same mistake twice (buying the first house you tour that you love) because while it is a great house ultimately it is way too small for us. i mean there’s me and josh, all six cats, and ALL OUR SHIT. listen: i have an entire room dedicated to my various hobbies. and a walk in closet that isn’t big enough. and we both have collections we love and want to display (right now upstairs its hello kitty and downstairs its astronomy and the titanic. and then there’s pop figures, mtg, collectibles, our bottle collection and various knickknacks, etc.) plus all our books! then furniture and cat furniture (i.e towers) and all their shit because they are spoiled babies. and god forbid we ever have a human kid?? yeah. it’s just not big enough.

so we’re gonna take more time with this choice but what we do know is:: we wanna live out in the country (i’m paranoid and don’t like to be looked at and he loves the outdoors, lived on a farm for awhile. i also enjoy the outdoors but mostly since we moved into this house i’ve struggled with doing anything outside... while we only have one neighbor on our road. but there’s one across the road and one at the other side of our backyard and that’s just too much lol)

lets see.. um.... my birthday was may 2nd and that was pretty nice, for a pandemic birthday. there’s been a lot of stuff happening involving josh’s family but that’s not something i really wanna get into on here, tho i will say things have been better in recent weeks and it’s been... really nice. josh and i went to his mom’s house the other night and got drunk with her for fun and i actually had a really good time?? and didn’t complain about going?? that’s kinda unheard of.

i don’t have a job anymore - haven’t since early march-ish - and it kinda sucks but also the universe really did me a solid because my choices were either allow myself to work until i have a mental break again or quit. and i was leaning towards quitting (things had been going down hill with the owner and other employees and just the business as a whole for awhile and there’s a limit to the amount of bullshit i can take thanks) but now it doesn’t seem i have to. why do i think i’m jobless? i was barely working anyway, bc of the snow business was slow, and in march i got really sick and stayed home for a week. the day i was supposed to go back i was still sick, and covid19 was starting to become more of a serious situation everywhere, so josh called in for me and explained that between still being sick and my anxiety over covid (asthma + a not so great immune system) i wasn’t going in that day. i never heard from them again. so.

but it’s all good - there are some options but i’m not looking into them seriously until it’s safe to.

i felt it wouldn’t be a bad idea to come on here and explain A. what’s been going on and B. where i’ve been and C. that if i haven’t responded to you or acknowledged something you sent me / tagged me in it’s literally just because i either forgot to (for all reasons and none) or i don’t have the mental space / energy to. but that doesn’t mean you have to stop talking to me! even if i don’t respond or respond immediately i do read everything and i would die for any one of you fuckers (especially my clowns and the tom hardy movie)

oh! and just btw - sometimes i don’t get notifications (quelle surprise) tumblr and skype should really pair up and talk about their truly great systems that function so well /s 8| ANYWAY: the best and most reliable ways to get my attention are twitter ( @/mieczyhale) and discord (same name) because i have yet to see their notifications fail. ahem.

i feel like i’m missing things / forgetting things but honestly this post is long enough and also enough of a rambley mess that i’m just gonna try and ignore that feeling and carry on with my goddamn day so i might actually accomplish something. sorry if there’s spelling off or missing words. i’m not taking the time to re-read this and might even delete it bc it’s already giving me anxiety bUT WE’LL SEE ALRIGHT HI AND BYE I LOVE YOU GUYS <3

enjoy your stay - chapter eight

SUMMARY ↳Working the graveyard shift at a hotel isn’t the most exciting job in the world, but your coworkers are certainly happy to have you here.

CHAPTER EIGHT ↳Your delightful encounter ends up leaving a bitter taste in your mouth when Jimin doesn’t respond the way you’d hoped. But perhaps a new source of comfort is around the corner.

Maybe it was too much to ask for you to just have one good day. It felt like after every good thing, there was a disaster around the corner just waiting to happen so that you didn’t get too happy.

In this case, it was your car breaking down on the side of the road ten minutes outside of town after you and Jimin fucked in a scummy bathroom like animals.

He was remarkably calm and collected about the whole ordeal as the two of you hung out in a ditch with smoke billowing from your hood, but maybe it was because he just had the soul sucked out of him less than half an hour ago.

You, on the other hand, had long left behind the post-orgasm bliss and were desperately holding back angry tears as your car was towed away, and a taxi was called out to take the two of you home.

The mechanics told you it would cost a small fortune to fix your shitty vehicle, but you had no other choice. You lived far enough from your workplace that walking or cycling wasn’t really an option, and you were too proud to take the bus. Besides, you had Jungkook to worry about too.

It only took a couple of hours to fix, but it took more out of your savings account than was put in from working every day for the past two months. If you were a more stubborn woman, perhaps you’d scowl and mutter about it practically being highway robbery, but instead you found yourself in the lobby of the local accounting firm, asking if you could have an appointment with Mr. Min Yoongi.

It was foolish of you to invite a freeloader into your home, acting like you were an upper middle-class diva when really you had just enough cushioning to feel a little secure.

Now, with your car using up more money than you had, you realized just how sad your finances were looking. You couldn’t even afford to hire an accountant, but you didn’t know where else to go. At least he could give you some advice, or something like that.

“What a delightful surprise,” he drawled when you were led into his fancy-schmancy corner office, “to what do I owe the honor?”

“It’s nothing to do with work. I just need some personal help with my finances.”

He adjusted the glasses on the bridge of his nose and steepled his fingers together. “Hmm. I find that being an accountant is much like being a doctor or a dentist. People only come to me when something’s gone wrong.”

“You’d be correct. Only problem is, I don’t have enough money to even hire you to help. I was just hoping maybe you could give me some advice.” You cleared your throat and avoided his gaze. “Hoseok told me about you two. I don’t suppose you’re interested in taking on another…client?”

He narrowed his eyes at you as your gaze burned a hole in the carpet. “Are you propositioning me in my place of work?”

“…Mhm.”

“Tell you what,” he declares, “I’ll take you on as a pro-bono client as long as you promise to never fucking do that again.” His tone is deadpan but luckily not angry or insulted.

“Got it, chief.”

“Don’t do that, either.”

“Uh- Thank you, sir?”

He nods thoughtfully. “That’ll do. Anyway, pro-bonos look pretty great on the CV apparently, and I’ve always been too much of a cold-hearted asshole to do them before, so, it’ll work out for the both of us.” He unlinks his hands and scribbles a post-it note, tucking it away in a thick leather-bound planner. He sighs. “And please ask Hoseok not to speak of his sexual relations with me.”

You pause. “Is that another condition for you helping me?”

“Well, no, but-”

“Then, with all due respect sir, not a fucking chance.”

He twiddles the pen in his hands and stares down at it in resignation. “Got it, chief.”

“Did he look hot?”

“That’s a pretty redundant question, Hobi.” “Fair. Continue.”

“Anyway, I really feel like him and I are vibing, you know? We had a little back-and-forth, we gave each other cute nicknames, he told me I warmed up his cold, dead heart…”

“I’ve been wrist deep in him, Y/n, so I’d say I know him pretty well, and there’s no fucking way he said that.”

“Maybe not in those words exactly,” you concede, chucking your empty paper cup in the trash can at his feet.

Work was a little slow today, so you had gotten permission from Namjoon to ‘help Hoseok tidy up his work space’, which just meant you and him chilling out behind the desk for an hour, chatting about whatever.

“Anyway, where’s Jimin?”

Hobi shrugs. “He went home early. Probably caught his dick in the vending machine again or something stupid like that.”

You grin. “That’s a shame, it was perfectly functional last time I checked.”

“Well, you know Jimin, al- Wait! What?” Hoseok’s eyes are comically wide, and he’s staring at you like you’ve given him a million dollars. “I cannot believe you let me sit here, discussing my sugar daddy for an hour before letting me know that! You little minx, tell me all about it!”

After spending another twenty minutes explaining the precise physics of your sexual encounter, Hobi finally let you leave to go do rounds again, but before you went back to Namjoon’s office, you tucked yourself away in the storage closet to make a phone call.

He picks up after the first ring. “Hey, baby,” his husky voice answers, and you just about melt right then and there.

“Jimin, how come you didn’t come to work today? I was looking forward to seeing you again.”

He grunts, and you frown at the muffled noises coming through the receiver. “I knew that if I saw you, I wouldn’t be able to control myself.” He lets out a dreamy sigh. “I can’t even control myself now,” he murmurs.

“What do you-” You hear a wet smacking sound repeating rhythmically, and Jimin grunts again. “Are you seriously jerking off right now?”

He laughs breathily, but it catches on a moan. “Yeah, baby, when I came to work, I couldn’t stop thinking about you, and I got hard right in the middle of the lobby.”

You frown. “Well, can you please…stop for now? I wanted to talk to you.”

Another whine. “We are talking.”

His breath is coming out in little pants and whimpers, and as hot as the sound is, you feel yourself getting frustrated, and not in the good way. “Seriously, Jimin, I’m trying to have a proper conversation here. I was going to ask you out to dinner, or breakfast, or whatever. I thought we should get to know each other better.”

He doesn’t respond, choosing instead to whisper sweet nothings like ‘fuck, baby’ and ‘feels so good’ over and over into the phone.

You think back to the last time you were in this closet, having a very different phone call. How Jin respected you so much that he wouldn’t even go out with you because he didn’t want you to end up disappointed. How he would forgo his own happiness to make sure you didn’t make a mistake in dating him.

And here was Jimin, jerking off like a teenager, completely uninterested in you asking him out.

You squeeze your eyes shut and rest your forehead against a shelf. “Jimin,” you whisper, unsure if he can even hear you as he gets louder and louder, “Jimin, this isn’t what I wanted. If all you want is sex, I’m not going to take part in whatever this is anymore. I don’t need a fuck buddy, I need a boyfriend. I need someone who understands me. I think you and I have misunderstood each other. I’m sorry.”

Somewhere in the middle of your monologue, he thankfully stopped, and the other end of the line was silent, except for the sound of him still breathing hard. “Baby,” he started eventually, “we haven’t misunderstood each other. I really like you. The way you sucked me off yesterday, god, it was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen! Give me a chance.”

“No,” you reply softly, but your tone is final. “I’ll leave you to your jacking off.”

“Baby, just-” He’s cut off as you hang up.

Surprisingly, the whole encounter with Jimin has resolved a lot of bitterness with Jin. You could understand him now, not wanting to get involved with someone who expects something you just aren’t the right person to give.

It’s that sense of closure, like you made the right decision with Jimin, and that Jin had made a good call with you, that leaves you quite content as you speed through the rest of the shift.

Jungkook excitedly whips out his laptop when you pop into the bar, showing you an online course he found that would let him study game development specifically, rather than the generalized computer programming degree. He runs you through all the different topics, aware that you had no idea what they were but perfectly happy to spend forever explaining each one in excruciating detail and then thanked you profusely for letting him live with you.

When you had returned home yesterday after the whole broken-down car fiasco, you were genuinely shocked to see your apartment still in one piece. In fact, in the time he had to himself, he had set up his room with a desk and a little bookshelf he had found at the secondhand store. He was really making the place his own, and it made you feel like a protective mother hen to see the boy so happy.

He was just as pumped today and made sure to let you know how grateful he was. Jungkook had a completely different energy about him when he was doing something he actually enjoyed.

It was only twenty minutes away from the end of your shift when Hoseok called Namjoon’s office, saying there had been a noise complaint filed against the room that Taehyung was in. Namjoon, who was steeped in paperwork and reporting, asked you to handle it, saying that sometimes Taehyung could blast music a little too loud, but he’d turn it down if you told him to. He even threw in the exclusive offer that if you went and dealt with it, you could go home early afterwards. Of course, you’d have to wait around for Jungkook to get off, but finishing early was finishing early, so you gratefully accepted.

As you made your way to the hallway of rooms, you wondered what type of music Tae liked to blast. Did he wallow in self-pity to mopey 60s music like a tortured artist, or did he know all the dance moves to the latest k-pop hits?

But the closer you got, you realized there was no music at all. The hallway was completely silent. You knocked lightly on his door, but received no response.

If it wasn’t for the fact that you really wanted to get this sorted for good and go off duty a little early, you probably would’ve walked away.

As it was, you decided to whip out your master keycard and let yourself in. It was only once you got past the threshold that you heard any noise at all.

Certainly not loud enough to warrant a noise complaint since you couldn’t even hear it yourself directly outside the door, but it was there. The second you heard it, your heart dropped into your stomach, and your gaze immediately flicked over to the far side of the room where the sounds originated.

Jimin and Tae were entwined with each other, Jimin in Tae’s arms against the wall in a cruel mockery of the time you spent with him just the day before. Taehyung hadn’t heard you come in over the sound of Jimin moaning, but since the bellboy was conveniently facing the door, he glanced up over Tae’s sweaty shoulder when you came in and grinned at you.

The room tilted a little as your vision swam with the tears that quickly built up. He really couldn’t give a shit, could he? The moment you told him you weren’t interested in sex, he went out and found somebody else.

In any other circumstance, the scene playing out would’ve been completely pornographic. Jimin, hair sticking to his forehead, stared you deep in the eyes with a sultry smugness, jerking at each devastating thrust from the man below him.

Later, when you had cried all the tears you had to give, you would be thankful that at least Namjoon asked you to go instead of walking in on his little brother and the bellboy himself. But for now, you felt stupid and ashamed and used, and it must have been some masochistic streak that caused you to stand there for what was at least a full minute, never glancing away from Jimin’s mocking gaze as he muttered sweet things into Tae’s ear and breathed in little whimpers that were harmonizing sinfully with Taehyung’s deeper grunts and groans.

You tore your eyes away once as the two men began to come undone, bolting into the hallway and slamming the door behind you.

As valiantly as you tried to remain composed until you reached the staff carpark, hot tears spattered against your cheeks as you all but ran down the hallway. Clearly there was no real noise complaint. Clearly Park Jimin knew exactly what the fuck he was doing when he got you to come to Tae’s apartment in the middle of their tryst. You always saw Jimin as a little petty but there was really no reason for him to be this cruel.

What was it you said that caused him to be this way? He was just proving the reason you called quits on whatever it was the two of you had. You were right, really; there was no way he was boyfriend material if this was how he responded to rejection.

Perhaps the worst part of this is that you couldn’t even tell anyone about it. While workplace romance wasn’t illegal, fucking your way around the hotel staff was certainly frowned upon and was sure to bring an awkward light to the night shift. There was no way you were explaining to Namjoon the situation you found his sibling in, and you had no way of knowing whether Hobi would take your side or his.

As you bawled your eyes out in anger and frustration, you weren’t keeping track of the time at all, and you just about jumped out of your skin when the passenger door opened.

“Alrightey, let’s g- Oh my god, what happened to you?”

You shook your head mutely at the boy who sat himself in the seat beside you.

“Are you alright? Do you need me to drive?”

You sniff. “Do you have your license?”

“N- No.”

“Then no.” You clear your throat a couple times and pat your red cheeks a little to sober yourself before making the awkward drive home.

Jungkook had the good graces not to ask questions in the car, or once you got home and collapsed onto the couch to resume sobbing, but by the time midday rolled around and you still hadn’t moved a muscle except to wipe your dribbling nose, he brought you a block of chocolate and sat on the couch next to you. “Please, noona, tell me something so I can help you, I hate seeing you like this.”

You chow through a row or two of comforting confectionery before you answer. “Boy troubles,” you mumble. “Not much you can do about it.”

He tucks one leg under the other so he can face you fully on the couch. “Maybe it would help to just vent. Get it all out there.”

You raise your eyebrows, but he just blinks at you with his wide eyes, completely serious. “Fine. I had sex with a guy, told him I wasn’t interested in sex if it meant nothing to him, and then he got mad and fucked somebody else as revenge. He even set me up so that I walked in on the act. Sick son of a bitch.”

“What? Isn’t revenge porn illegal? I read that somewhere,” he stated.

“It is illegal, but this wasn’t technically revenge porn, it was…revenge sex. I don’t know. I just feel so shitty that he would do something like that. And then I feel shitty for feeling shitty because I shouldn’t care about him anyway since I was the one that ended things, right?”

“I had this one girlfriend,” Jungkook mused, “who would follow me around everywhere, always wanted to have sex, always wanted to make out. And so, I did. But then she told me she’d rather not bother with the making out and just go straight to sex all the time.” He broke off, eyes distant, and shook his head slowly at the memory.

You frown. “How is this supposed to help me?”

“Oh, I guess it probably doesn’t, but I just wanted you to know I’ve had a girlfriend before, and I’ve had sex before, like, multiple times, so I get what you’re going through.”

You open your mouth to retort, but then realize you have no idea what the fuck to say to that. Your mouth closes again.

“Anyway, when we finally broke up, I was super devastated. But after a while I realized that even if I had done whatever she wanted, I wouldn’t be happy. And it was kind of better to be sad knowing that I made the right decision, than be sad and not do anything about it, you know?”

You tilt your head in confusion. “Your grand thesis is that if I’m going to be miserable either way, I might as well be miserable on the moral high ground?”

He swallows and pouts a little. “Well, you’ve been having this conversation with me for the past five minutes and you’ve already stopped crying. You can’t be sad if you’re too distracted to think about your problems.”

“Your logic is very poorly constructed, but I think I see your point.”

He smiles at you, then, and leans in a little to rest his hand on yours. “If you want, I can distract you, noona.”

Tony’s legs scream with protest when he speeds up, the battery in his arms dragging him down and tearing at the edges of his skin with agonizing slowness. He trips on a swiss knife hidden in the desert sand, and plummets down toward New York.

Tony startles awake with a gasp, wincing when the harsh light of his cell pierces at his eyes. He screws his eyes shut and waits for a few careful seconds before he tries again—the light still sort of stings, but it’s bearable now, and Tony sighs. He scans the glass wall for his guard’s position—she’s about on the opposite side of him—and makes a show of yawning and stretching so he can shove his hands under his pillow in a way that won’t make him look suspicious.

Loki’s knife is still here.

He thought it was a trap, at first. It was in his pocket when he was taken, that’s true, but somewhere between his fight with Steve and the moment he woke up for the second time, Fury’s goons changed him into something achingly similar to hospital scrubs. It took Tony a couple of seconds to notice it when he first woke up, but the panic attack was almost instantaneous. Who knew what else had happened while he slept, right?

The chip turned out to still be in place though, digging against his insides as soon as he got up to pace, which was a relief in more ways than one. First of all: the chip is still there. His most precious possession, and it’s not lost. Second, its presence meant no rectal search, X-rays, or deep searching procedure was used on him. Good news for his body integrity, and an argument about the knife’s presence being a trap, which was useful to cling to when Tony found it under his pillow as he shoved his face in it to hide his relief.

Logically speaking, S.H.I.E.L.D can’t possibly be unaware of its existence. It was right there in his pants pockets. There’s no way nobody noticed it.

Question is: why put it in his cell? Fury has ostensibly taken precautions against suicidal tendencies—irritatingly impractical precautions, but still. Why would he get a knife in Tony’s cell when it runs contrary to his official motives and would lead at least to come silent question in whoever was tasked to put the knife back under Tony’s pillow...unless Fury placed it himself, but that would still be a stupidly risky move.

(The more optimistic part of him keep bumping on the idea that there is a spell on the knife, but Tony’s been listening to his guards talk as they rotate. No sign of Loki anywhere since Tony was put into forced custody. Not exactly reassuring.)

Loki isn’t the only topic of conversation in the prison, though. Hearing the guards talk about the aftereffects of Jarvis’ and other various Stark-owned servers is...well, it’s painful, really, because Jarvis is gone, but it’s also a little vindicative. There’s something satisfying about knowing you’ve made you captor’s life a little more difficult, even if it’s just by forcing them to go back to books instead of the internet for information.

Besides, thinking about Jarvis is painful, but it keeps his mind off the sobriety.

Truthfully, the sobriety itself wouldn’t be a problem, quite the contrary. But between the stress, the lack of sleep, and the general upending of his life, Tony has been itching for a drink for days. What he assumes are days.

It’s not a physical ache—apparently, he’s either slowed the drinking down enough since his suicide attempt to avoid that, or he’s just a lucky bastard in that respect—but it itches and scratches at his brain, like a sick sort of Jimminy Cricket trying to convince him his life would be a lot better with a glass in his hand. Tony knows it’s a lie, of course, but that doesn’t mean he’s not tempted anyway.

He’s kept himself busy so far, alternating between mourning Jarvis and trying to think of an escape plan—anything to either gain contact with the outside world or get himself out—but event that is getting harder as time passes and offers no new solution.

There are at least two security cameras in his cell, on top of the one outside that faces the glass wall. His guards have irregular shift changes—as far as he can judge without real mean of measuring time—and so far there hasn’t been a single repeating face. Tony got hopeful, at first, when it seemed there was a sizable blind spot in the surveillance system above his bed, but knowing Fury the thing might as well be here on purpose to lure him into a false sense of safety.

(The thought rings strangely hollow, like a decayed tooth, but Tony hasn’t been able to put his finger on why yet.)

Even leaving aside the fog of alcohol craving battering at his brain, Tony’s situation would be enough to numb anyone’s mind, and thinking about his allies—or lack thereof—from outside doesn’t help all that much.

Steve has apparently bought Fury’s story in full. Bruce probably hasn’t, but his options are limited at the best of times, and this is definitely not the best time. Clint and Natasha are as much of a mstery as ever, mainly because Tony hasn’t seen or heard from them since this whole ordeal began, and has no way of knowing if it’s because they don’t care or because they decided to make a run for it. If she got his message, Pepper is probably trying to help, if she even can. If she believed him. Hopefully. Rhodey might try and lend a hand but what can he do from his camp? Not much is what. The two of them have moved mountains before, but S.H.I.E.L.D. is kind of a Mount Everest in and of itself, nothing says it’ll let itself be moved.

So all in all, Tony is on his own, whip a plastic box in his ass that’s getting increasingly difficult to ignore, an enchanted swiss knife that has yet to be useful in any way, and the vague hope that one of two Norse gods will not only get his but back to New York but also care enough about him to risk capture and bust him out.

Well, that, and the mother of all alcohol cravings, but he’s trying not to think too hard about that one.

He paces instead, listing the people he can’t count on or hope for help from as he counts how many steps he can take in his cell and tries not to scratch at the itching patch over his arms. The need keeps growing though, presses at his chest and whispering terrible things in his ears. ‘What’s going on outside?’ it asks—Tony comes up with dozens of possible answers, all more terrible than the one that came before, and when he reaches the end of his reasoning, which is that none of this would have happened without him and he should probably refrain from doing anything in the future lest he ruins someone else’s life, the temptation is back.

Just one glass. Just to take the edge off. Just to forget the smear campaign Fury is probably waging against him right this minute.

Damn, he needs to get out of here. He needs to drink something, too, but he needs to get out of here first, and then clear Iron Man’s name. The company has Pepper now, it’ll survive, and so will Howard’s legacy—the parts Tony hasn’t trampled on already, that is. As for his own person, eh. It’s not that important. But Iron Man? It has to come back. It gives hope to too many people—Tony himself included. He can’t let it die like that, not when it is undoubtedly the best thing he’s ever made.

So, he needs to get out of here. That means he needs to focus—he needs a way to shut down the craving, and keep his head as clear as possible. Failing that, he needs to figure out how not to go too crazy until he either gets rescued or finds a way to get out.

Problem is, there doesn’t seem to be one.

He’s just about ready to burst out of his own skin when the realization comes that he’s been sitting on an enchanted knife this whole time—he resists the urge to slap his forehead and draw attention to himself before he leaves the corner of the room he’d settled in and goes back to the bed with a fake yawn.

Slowly, trying his best to look like a man getting ready to sleep, he settles down on his side, with his arms safely tucked into the cameras blind spot. If Fury does know about the knife—there’s no way he doesn’t, but at the same time, if he did, why would the knife even be here?—Tony acting like he thinks he’s got a secret to keep can’t hurt, right? Besides, it would feel weird, doing that in plain view.

He’s not sure he’s supposed to feel that relieved when he cuts the first line into the flesh of his forearm.

The pocket knife lies, forgotten, by their side as Tony feeds Pepper a slice of strawberry. She bites into it and her face starts melting off her bones, and Tony stands there, paralyzed by terror as she reaches for his throat and starts choking him.

Tony wakes up with a start, to a hand pressing at his throat—he throws his fist in the air before he thinks about it in full and hears someone grunt when he makes contact with thin flesh over bones. The hand on his throat leaves, and before Tony manages to wake up in full both of his wrists are tied to the bed, and he ends up staring into Clint’s pinched-neutral face. He bends down next to the bed—Tony contorts to try and see what he’s doing, but he’s bound in a way that makes that impossible—and comes back up with a pitcher full of what is definitely alcohol. The strong kind.

A noise of protest escapes Tony’s throat before he even thinks of making it, and he pulls against his restraints when Clint takes a step closer to the bed.

“I’m sorry,” he says while Tony clenches his teeth together, “but against Loki’s hold it’s this or a blow to the head, and this is less risky.”

Tony doesn’t make the mistake of saying he’d rather take the blow to the head. Either he’d get it, or Clint would use the occasion to shove the alcohol at him, neither of which are things Tony wants. He sinks into the bed, pushes himself deeper into the mattress, and tries to muster anger when Clint’s features shift to sympathy over him—but it doesn’t come, kept at bay by the sick burn of terror at the pit of Tony’s stomach, and the damn manacles that won’t give even an inch—

“It’ll hurt less if you just take it,” Clint says, resigned. Then, when Tony doesn’t manage a sarcastic quip, he sighs and says: “Stark. I don’t wanna make this any shittier for you than it already is.”

Tony sags back against the bed almost against his will, the fight evaporating out of him faster than he’d have thought possible. He doesn’t cooperate exactly—leaves Clint with the task of raising his head to the brim of the pitcher—but he doesn’t struggle either, and opens his mouth with the liquid—vodka, it soon appears—touches his lips. What’s the point in struggling, anyway? Like Clint said, it’s not like it’ll change much to the end result.

It does come as a surprise when Clint angles away from the surveillance cameras and whisper-grunts:

“We got new weapons today. Shiny, Hydra-issued relics for everyone.”

In his surprise, Tony swallows wrong and starts coughing on the vodka—Clint upend the last quarter of the pitcher on the pillow as he straightens up, gives Tony impressively terse well wishes, and takes the manacles out in practiced gestures before he exits the room.

Tony, who knows better than try and move fast after drinking that much in one go, thinks he hears Clint say something about truth and mashed potatoes before the shocked buzzing in his ears overpowers the rest of the world.

When Tony wakes up, dried drool pulls at his cheek, and a part of him is grimly amused to realize his hangover doesn’t seem to be that bad yet. Might grow worse fast, but he’s still a lot more functional than he expected himself to be, even as his skull makes a decent impression of being an echo chamber for a drill concerto in hammer minor. He turns to his side and lets his head hang over the side of the bed for a while anyway, just in case he needs to evacuate something fast. Then, when it seems like he’s not going to vomit just yet—a little surprising, but not unwelcome—Tony opens his eyes.

He’s not coherent enough to think yet—his mind stays focused on the terrible taste in his mouth, an eerily vampire-like distaste for light and ow. Mostly the ow part. Through it all, though, something stirs in his memory when he finally understands that the mushy thing on a tray under his nose are mashed potatoes. There was something about mashed potatoes—Clint said—he said—damn it. It’s right there, right at the tip of Tony’s tongue—or his thoughts, whichever—but he can’t seem to grasp it, like he’s a cat running after a laser, and someone’s keeping the red dot just out of his reach...he’s going to have to clear his mind if he wants to do anything productive. With a grunt, Tony rolls back onto the bed and, tucking his hands under the pillow, he fumbles with the knife until he can open the blade and run the tip of his fingers over the metal.

The pain probably shouldn’t feel like this. It doesn’t just cut—ha—through the fog in his mind it also makes things less...intense, somehow. Like Tony was about to explode with too much to think about, too much to feel about, and the cuts are letting some of it out and allowing him to go back to regularly scheduled existence. It’s odd and unfamiliar and a small, worried part of him wonders if he’ll keep doing this, later. If he’ll have to explain odd scars and habits, if he’ll lose people over it.

Most of him feels relieved.

Pressing his fingers against the pillow to stop the worst of the bleeding—he really should have picked a better place to cut—Tony tries to remember what Clint said about the potatoes exactly. The words are a blur—will probably pop back into existence way too late to be useful, if Tony’s current luck is anything to go by—but the urgency and stress in the words is easy to remember. Whatever it was, Clint wanted Tony to remember it.

Problem is, Clint is still a spy. Even waddling through a hangover—the only thing keeping his craving at bay—Tony still realizes the man is paid to double cross people on a regular basis. Who’s to say that’s not what he was doing...whenever the vodka episode was? Sure, he also mentioned Nazi superweapons coming out of storage when they were supposed to be destroyed. That’s probably not something Fury would want Tony to know. None of that means Clint isn’t trying to lure Tony into a trap.

Let’s assume, Tony tells himself, that Clint was telling the truth. The assumption is probably going to come back and bite him in the ass but, well. He has to believe some things can turn out well, doesn’t he? Yeah, he does. Anyway.

If Clint was telling the truth—if Fury really was stupid enough to outfit his organization with Hydra’s old weapons in the middle of a trust crisis—it lends credence to the possibility of someone using Tony to frame Loki. This is, after all, a blatantly stupid move, certain to raise at least some questions, right? And Fury doesn’t usually do that, even when extremely pressed. Combine that with the apparent weak spot in the surveillance—Tony could have missed a camera, somewhere, that’s true. Even so, the idea of a blonds spot in the videos, even a fake one, doesn’t sound quite right. Not when you add the non-discovery of his chip on top of it, not when he’s been hiding a knife and bloody scars from S.H.I.E.L.D. like they’re regular people and not highly trained super spies.

So, Fury might actually be manipulated, probably to get at Loki.

Question is, who on Earth would be crazy and smart enough to do that?

Tony grunts, pressing his fingertips harder against the pillow, increasing the pain to keep his mind out of the fog and off the strengthening need for another drink. If he stops thinking now, he’s never going to get to the end of that reasoning, and that is not something he can afford. So, theoretical framework: Fury is being manipulated by someone who has the smarts to trump him and the resources to silence embarrassing questions inside S.H.I.E.L.D. That someone, for some reason, is trying to make Loki sound even worse—but somehow, dumber—than he really is. This can give way to at least three different interpretations.

One, Loki knows what’s happening, and he doesn’t care enough about Tony to help him. Sure, Coyote and Anansi sounded like rather close friends—the kind you introduce people who count to—but then again Loki has been entirely unheard of since the beginning of this clusterfuck. Including after fairly extensive use of a knife that’s supposed to alert him if Tony hurts himself. Emotionally speaking, Tony is already about three quarters of the way in believing that one entirely, but he still needs to consider the other two, just to be sure.

The second option is that Loki knows what’s happening, but he’s bidding his time before he intervenes, for reasons Tony doesn’t have the energy to guess at. The thought of being worth planning and waiting for is...well, it’s not unpleasant. However, that implies whoever is behind this is impressive enough to make Loki cautious, and that, on the other hand, is not pleasant at all.

Third—and last that Tony can think of—Loki doesn’t know what’s going on. Depending on when he slipped off the surface of the Earth, he might not have heard about this. Plus, since Thor is also MIA, there’s always the possibility that they’re locked in some kind of intergalactic siblings war somewhere and forgot anything exists outside of it. Tony thinks he knows both of the gods well enough, by now, to asses that as a perfectly valid theory.

Common point between all these theories: there’s nothing to expect from Loki’s side. Not for a while, at least. Meaning Tony’s escape plans are back to square one: hope Pepper—and maybe Rhodey, and maybe Clint—figures out a way to help him.

In the meantime...oh, who’s he kidding? It’ll be a miracle if he doesn’t end up begging for a drink before the end of the day. If it’s even day time—honestly, he has no idea. There’s nothing he can do, nothing he can call—nothing but think back on easier times and hope things will go for the best.

In the midst of wishing for a drink he knows he can’t afford to ask for, Tony suddenly find himself wishing for Lorna.

She might have been a lie. There is, after all, a small possibility that Fury is in the right, and Tony is just imagining the conspiracy theory to escape a painful truth. If he believes that, however—if he does anything more drastic than pretending Lorna wasn’t Loki at all—there’s nothing left for him. If he assumes Lorna was a lie, his main support becomes nothing more than a shadow.

If he believes that, there’s really not much point in fighting anything at all anymore, really.

The strings around Fury’s wrists and ankles are hard to see—they’re almost translucent, only shining when the light hits them right. The blue silhouette though—the one that pulls the strings—is easy to see, and Tony flees from it with supernatural speed. The swiss knife lies in the grass when he rounds a corner, and Tony dives for it.

Ice water to the face never becomes less of a horrible way to wake up, and tony doesn’t hold back his spluttering, let alone his curses as he tries to shake some of it off his head. His brain bangs around the sides of his skull as a result, and Tony has to stop or get sick right here and now.

Nick Fury, sitting at the foot of the bed, doesn’t move during any of this. In fact, once tony gathers enough wits to properly look at him, he looks no different from the man who tried to recruit Iron Man in a donut hole. Behind him a stranger—short, stocky, Greek or Italian-looking, with a caducei hanging from his left ear and wiry muscles clearly visible under his long-sleeved shirt—is trying very hard to be unnoticeable. He’s kind of failing, but that might be because Tony is developing a new helping of healthy paranoia.

“We’re still without news from Thor,” Fury says before Tony can ask about the newcomer.

A wince, and then Tony reaches for the familiar mask of self-assured unconcern he’s used most of his life and says:

“Sorry, haven’t managed to check my texts lately.”

Fury’s irritated silence gives Tony an excuse to shift in place and land on his pillow, cutely aware of how Loki’s knife and his own chip dig into his flesh with painful angles. At least that way, there’s no risk anything is going to slip out of its hiding place at the worst possible moment.

“We need to locate him, Stark,” Fury explains after a long, searching look at Tony’s face, “if you’re compromised, Thor might be as well. We need to make sure he’s still safe.”

Tony barely holds his snort in at that, but something of it must show on his face, because Fury frowns. That should be worrying, maybe, but the last vestiges of Tony’s hangover must have vanished during his surprise nap because the only thing he can bring himself to care about at this point is the overwhelming urge to drink, and the absolute certitude that he can not ask for any alcohol right now.

He stays silent for a long moment—both Fury and his brand new shadow wait him out, but after a handful of seconds have gone by, Fury’s eyes dart to the tray of mashed potatoes by Tony’s bed. The untouched tray. And just like that, Tony remembers what Clint said.

There’s truth serum in the potatoes.

Had Tony known that, he’d have at least tried to fake eating some of it. It might have been enough to keep Fury off his case for a while. As it is, he can’t do much except hope his sudden realization didn’t show, and Fury will think not eating anything was an accident.

“Look,” Tony says after a while, mostly so he can appear a little more cooperative, “I have no idea where either of them is. Even if I did, I’m not sure it’d have helped.”

Fury doesn’t look at the potatoes again—too much of a professional for a second slip up. Usually, too much of a pro for the first one, but the more Tony thinks about this, the more convinced he is that Fury isn’t quite in his right mind. Nevertheless, the more he can keep to himself, the better. He’ll have time to figure things out later.

“Do you have any way to contact them?”

“If I did, I wouldn’t tell you,” Tony answers without missing a beat.

“And neither of them contacted you?”

“No.”

Both of Tony’s visitors frown at that, and he has to refrain from smirking at the sight. They were probably hoping for something more useful—or for Tony to sound a little more dejected, maybe? But Tony doesn’t have any useful answer to that question, even if he wanted to help them. Not that he wants to—he would love to be lying through his teeth right now.

Unfortunately, he’s pretty sure he’s been here at least three days by now, and Loki has yet to be heard from.

“For your sake,” Fury says, sounding irritatingly—and worryingly—sincere, “I hope we find them soon. I’m starting to think this might be the only way to get Loki out of your head.”

Tony tries not to gape as he watches the two men rise and walk out of the cell.

He’s been talking with Fury for a while now, long enough that he’s seen the man express a fairly varied range of emotions—irritation, exasperation, fatigue, anger, and the occasional bout of disbelief at Tony’s more childish behaviors. Up until now, concern has never been one of them.

It’s not just concern, either—there was an undertone of determination there, not unlike the way Steve sounds when he starts on yet another crazy mission to do The Right Thing no matter the cost. What the blatant slip in control means exactly is difficult to parse—it would probably require a more personal knowledge of Fury—but Tony is fairly sure it doesn’t herald anything good for him.

Swallowing around the lump in his throat, Tony lies back down on the bed, hands behind his head, and closes his eyes. He replays the conversation in his head over and over again, gives himself another dozen play-by-plays of his reasoning, tries even the silliest theory he can come up with, but none of it seems to make any kind of sense, even a strange one and, after what feels like a few hours of useless questioning, Tony decides to let go of his dignity.

I don’t know if it’s gonna work, but Loki if you could lend a hand here—

“Well,” Loki says in an openly exasperated tone, “it took you long enough.”

I got in a car accident last November and they tried to hit me with 6 duis with no evidence. We got the FDLC results 6 MONTHS LATER, and it came up with nothing. Our family has had State Farm for 70 years now, several generations, and in the last 10 years or so we have been progressively more & more disappointed in their caring and customer service. Maybe its just the 'assistants' that my local SF agent (who never talks to his clients any more) use, they both seem to have just horrible attitutudes, sarcastic, and act like you are a complete PITA every time you call. I even have an email from his main assistant that I asked her to forward to the actual agent because I was told he was the only one that could answer my question, and just today I was SHOCKED when I re-read the email, and saw in the forward of my email when his assistant sent it on to the actual SF agent, She said This guy will just not give up, he keeps haunting me about this issue! I couldn't freaking believe it. I was going to forward the email to SF headquarters in Bloomington IL, but then as I read more & more about state farm I saw they are completely independent agents in each office, and have literally NO ONE who is their boss or who can reprimand or correct them. This is unbelievable. If I treated my customers at my work place & gave them the rotten attitude treatment we get from our SF office here, I guarantee you I would lose my job. No one is in charge at state farm obviously. Back to my question - I recently bought a classic car I have been looking for a long time - getting it next week - it is 25 yrs old, all original & in perfect shape. My state (Maryland) lets me register the car as Historic if it is 20 yrs old or more. I plan to do this. The 'assistant' said the best they can do, even if I REGISTER this vehicle in Maryland as Historic & get an Historic tag, which I will do, she said the best she can do is insure it as part time, occasional pleasure use, under 7500 miles a year . Which of course is NOT an historic policy. You can get that on ANY extra car you have in your household even if it is a 2011 model !! She did say (and I understand this being required) that in order to have is classified as Antique/Classic/Historic, you have to have an appraisal done on the vehicle as if it just came off the show room floor -then the premiums would be much lower if you had full coverage on it, as historic/classic . Episode 5: It's time to put my game face on - Ruthie

What a telling tribal. Gage is a whole liar. He and David both lied to me about how the vote was going. Now I definitely know not to trust them. Jaiden was mad that I voted for him, but I think we patched things up in PMs. However, I feel like this tribe swap will do me wonders. Chrissa is definitely someone who I want to align with. I hope we can get either Ari or Casey on our side so that Gage can be voted out as that seems to be in my mind, best case scenario. He's playing really well and that needs to go sooner rather than later.

So we voted out Adam and it was messy as fuck like planned but then A SWAP Not just a swap but The three blue people are PEOPLE I LOVE AND WOULD WANT TO WORK WITH SO WE CAN EASILY JUST TAKE OUT THE GREENS IF WE WANTED. Have I done a confessional lately? No one knows. In case I forgot to talk about it in the last confessional, I found a hidden immunity idol at the Isle of the Pines. I used my second search to get receipts that I could provide to my tribe to make it look like I didn't find anything but turns out? I didn't need them. We tribe swapped and now I'm on a completely different tribe AND we won immunity this week. WHEW. Let's do first impressions on NuNadroj Jessica: She seems pretty cool. I know she was in an alliance with Ryan before so having her around is kind of nice because a) she can tell embarrassing stories bc they've met before, and b) that gives us a reason to put a target on her if we do lose the next challenge. Liam: I think I like Liam? He seems really cool and he's probably the person I've talked to the most since we swapped. I think I need to talk to him more to make sure that we work together when / if we lose a challenge in the future. Can't make it look like I'm scrambling when the time comes. Drew: I LOVE DREW. I was allied with Drew in a side season we played once and it was fun playing with him. We all flopped, so I'm hoping he doesn't hold that against me and we can try to work together on NuNadroj. At first when I swapped with Ruthie, I was like “oh no! The only person who didn’t say that they have a right alliance with me!” And I was worried she’d go against me. She still might do that but I don’t care because she’s so nice and I want only good things for Ruthie. This tribe is cool so far, I don’t know anyone well which is a really nice twist. That hasn’t happened for me in a while and I like playing with new people! I am worried because apparently Adam got voted out for having “too many friends”. This is hilarious, adam only has one friend, her name is samrah and she is not in this game. But it is worrying because we have basically the same connections so if people were worried about Adam, they are definitely worried about me! But anyways, who cares. I am putting more thought into this than I want to. I can’t believe I took the effort to make a confessional. Gross.

i am so glad we won! jaiden's score omg that was insane. I never thought anyone could get that good, i envy that alot. But that was amazing. Also glad to be on the same tribe as raffy!

Oh, it depends. I’m weird when it comes to reading things. I usually have to read it all in one sitting... or else I forget what’s going on entirely, confuse it with another story, get lost somewhere, forget to ever come back to it... Ugh. I’m just plain terrible.

To illustrate my absolute terribleness, I do the same thing with everything. Like, there are so many anime series and TV series I’ve watched, like, ALMOST all of... and then got lost somewhere, never saw the ending, forgot the middle... and have no idea what ever happened anywhere. I was talking with someone just the other day and came to the realization that I had watched every episode of Stranger Things except for the last one. Like, the whole first season... except not the ending. And I hadn’t even noticed I’d done this? I was just like, “Oh, yeah, I was watching that, wasn’t I...” and just... never bothered to finish it. What’s worse, I still haven’t watched the ending even once I realized this, because I’ve already forgotten enough of what happened in the middle that I kinda don’t care what happens at the end? Oh, and I also watched none of the second season EXCEPT the ending and I’m pretty much okay with that. Terrible.

So anyway, left to my own devices, I have a terrible tendency to wander away from things and just... forget them entirely. Thankfully, if someone’s posting the chapters regularly on Tumblr and tags me with them... I usually do see them and read them before the story’s completely gone from my memory. But sadly (or maybe not sadly?), if someone’s writing a story and just... stops updating it, I will almost certainly forget it ever existed and be completely oblivious to the fact that there was no ending.

Incidentally, this is also why I suck so bad at recommending fics to people, because the second someone’s like, “Can you recommend some fanfics where this or that happens?” I’m immediately like, “Fanfic? What’s a fanfic?” And I legit have to search through my own blog and my own tags just to remind myself of what I’ve read. Which is why I always tell people that the only stuff I can recommend is the stuff I’ve posted on here already. Because if it’s not here, I’ve forgotten its existence... and if it IS here, I’ve also forgotten its existence, but at least the post about it on here will (hopefully) remind me.

So I guess... Well, shorter fics I like reading all at once. But longer fics I either have to read them all at once (which takes a huge chunk of time) or read part of them... and risk never remembering to ever FINISH the story. In which case, it’s probably better if someone uploads them chapter by chapter and tags me in them. I guess? Really, it’s best if they just upload them straight to my brain, but for some reason, no one’s taken me up on that yet.

Heyo! The name’s Johnny, from Survivor: India, the guy who went through only two tie votes in his seasons, and I guess I’m ready to swing at the sandbags again. I’m glad to be back and hopefully I don’t fall in the pits that I fell in last time. I’m not settling for premerge this time ‘round. So this tribe is definitely a lot bigger & badder than I expected. Lots of personalities, lots of players, and a shit ton of self-professed “bitches”, “villains”, and whatnot. I just want to survive a while in here so I’m ready to slap on the under-the-radar happy tribe mascot sticker. But of course, the twist is revealed. I tried for the advantage but as always, my luck runs dry and I’m beaten to it. Figured Jordan Pines had it and right I was - dude won immunity. Lucky fella. I feel like he has some bad connection with someone, but I’m just not quite sure who that’d be. I know nothing about Tumblr connections, sadly. I trust Jordan right now - not too much, of course, I’ve heard how good he is at this stuff - but I’ll give him a little info and hope he reciprocates. I just wanna live until I reach a point where I can go full India mode and explode onto the scene. We’ll have to see if I can suffer through this tribe, first… I’ll just suffer well.

Everything seems pretty tame but since there is a tribal coming up, that scares me. I like Madison, Taylor, Sultana, Toph, Jacob, and Nick as of now. I'm going to watch the videos right now to see where people's heads are at right now. If I can do that, I'll be able to get a better read on everyone. Hopefully, that will help me with figuring out who to vote out. I'll pray for the best while reading Animal Farm.

CONFESSIONAL: This is my first time in tumblr survivor history that I will be present at the premiere of the season. Pretty fucking excited. I'm like a survivor noob when it comes to the premiere. I've always been gone during it so this is my first premiere ever! I am hoping my 2nd and 1st place finishes don't put a early target on my back. I just need to make sure the tribe views me as an asset as opposed to a threat CONFESS: i think my status will help me. it says something about depression i think people will like that and that should be a convo starter

so me being the little bean that i am decided to have everyone join the call and now im an alliance called the "core fore" i mean like its me Payton, madison, and Jacob! okay that was just some basic ass info. here's my thoughts on everyone else! Amanda sledge: the only person i will trust in this game. she played an idol on me in Azores and if that isn't trust i don't know what else is. Payton: he seems ok, i mean he kinda seems Plainer then Rasin Bran but i mean her has a goat farm and litty. Madison: she seems woke and i would like to work with her given her immunity win and letting everything happen with this alliance already taylor: i mean he seems ok. But like he just got on call so ill keep you posted on him. Sultana: a woke ass queen! i really wanna work with her she seems super funny and chill and like a queen of everything she dose like harassing her mom for food! i would love to work with her will she wants too as well! the others: they have said nothing so like ima try and get one of them out now or payton. dfjbndofb Ok so currently i'm in about 2 alliances! Amanda, nick and myself are in one alliance. meanwhile i'm in an alliance with Jacob, Payton, and Madison together so like i have no idea if this is good or not because i don't wanna be caught so i feel like i need to tell Amanda so she dose not get mad and i can work with her! I really have no clue on what is going to happen. I don't want to trust anyone yet because tomorrow we will see were the lines will be drawn. I am like 50% that someone inactive will be voted off. but not if i have anything to say about that! I want payton out because i feel like he is dry and kinda basic. after all i will try and be the villain of the season oops! i honestly really like Petra though and think shes very chill and interesting. lets hope she feels the same way. i'm hoping i can just stay calm for now and then go and cry about it latter. i honestly am very hungry right now though like i ugh. Ok that is besides the point. But i feel like i need to bring my paranoid level up to like a ten because i can't trust none of these bitches or i'm gonna be scared as hell. my ears are open to everything and i have a google docs open and im ready to kill some people.

So at the beginning of the game, me and Amanda talked alot and decided to team up. Then Amanda was good friends with Toph. So then we formed a three person alliance. While we were on call, me Amanda, Toph and Suitana formed an alliance. The twist was announced that both tribes will be going to tribal. I really hope I am not first out but I got a solid 4 person alliance called the Wig Snatchers with them.

I feel like I'm the least extra person here and some of them I think don't like that I'm not super extra

I love being on tribe calls because late at night is when alliances are made! I'm currently in an alliance with Petra, Nick, and Toph (Seamus too). We don't have the majority yet, but I like Jacob and Madison. I hope they will vote Jenna with us. I heard nothing but bad things about her from Toph and she seemed cool, but I think right now it's our best option to get her out since she has no wifi at the moment.

Hey everyone, first confessional. I have not played in one of these games in a very long time so I feel very rusty. Anyway, this double tribal twist could really mess up my game but I can't worry about that at the moment. My plan is watch my tribemates videos and try to find common ground. I know Poteet is really embarrassed about going out premerge, and I went premerge too so we can talk about that. I need to take it one step at a time.

I have gained the trust of a good amount of the tribe, and they all are just kinda doing what I say, so i feel like i have some power suddenly. Not saying I'm on the path the a villain but we'll see what happens.

Joy, oh joy. I wake up this morning (if 11:30 AM is considered morning) with Jake being the only message to me and I think, THAT can't be a good sign. So he reiterates him wanting to work with me, yadda yadda, badda bing, and says that he values we have history. I'm pretty sure our history is just like one or two Skype minis so unless I'm forgetting something, ripperoni. He also tells me he's "heard a few names floating around" but when I asked him who it was, no response. Go figure. Luckily, Chris Stoner messages me and tells me that as of now Jake is the vote (I'm assuming from the mind of Jordan Pines) so at least I have some solace there. I don't think I'll be going at the end of the day, but there's still the very real fear that my head's on the chopping block, and I don't want to be lynched tonight, nosiree.

So while my video confessional is uploading, it seems like I got Taylor's vote to get Jenna out! I'm really excited to not be the first boot, honestly. I'm sad though because she never got to send me pictures of her kittens. Maybe if I keep her she'll show me! Anyways, how's your day? My mom broke our snapchat streak and it's quite disappointing... like I came out of your vagina and you're going to treat me like this?? So Jake said that Rhone had suggested Issy (due to their beef from another game, pretty sure it was a wiki game I viewed lmao) or Chris to go home. I found this a little bit fishy but then again I've found most of what Jake's been doing to be fishy. However Jake seems to think it'll be Issy going which is convenient. I also hopped on a call with Jordan Pines and we traded a bit of info - I'm not going to give him EVERYTHING persay (I've been told many stories about him so best to tread lightly) but luckily he gave me some. Jake had randomly made an alliance chat with Jordan and Rhone last night without informing either of them and both distrusted it. Jordan wants to keep some sorta secret information sharing pact between the two of us and I'm game, but I need to make sure he trusts me so I still have to actually give him credible tales. I've just gotta stay on his good side for now and be the nice, honest fella on the tribe. That'll keep me afloat until the swap (which seems like it'll be an auxillary situation. How fun). I do like Isaiah and Adrian a bit and I wouldn't mind working with those two, it'd be nice to get something rolling along with em. We'll have to see, though, because I'm not sure how social Adrian's been so far. As of now, our first boot should be Jake. Let's just hope we can stay strong and not lose to those meddlesome newbies.

I'm not going to lie... I'm a bit nervous. A tribal shouldn't be going this smoothly unless there's something going on in the background. Dear god, let this work out. I will write more after tribal is over, I'm just too nervous right now.
