no one asked for this but I'm writing it anyway. Also time doesn't exist in this thing, that or Ghiaccio's computer time travelled
Ghiaccio with an S/O who plays Papa's Freezeria on his computer
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This was it. The biggest step in your relationship thus far. No, not marriage.
Ghiaccio agreed to share his computer with you.
You didn't have one of your own and amongst other expenses you just never got around to buying one. So, with a lot of deliberation and building trust, he sent you a message saying that you could make an account on his. You would have to wait until he got home though, so he could show you how.
Unfortunately, you either didn't read or disregarded that last part of the message, and with a childlike glee flung yourself to his desk, loudly click clacking the keys and brute forcing your way into figuring out his password. You must have woken it up from it's sleep because there was nothing open when you got in. Then, you sat back and tapped your chin for a while...what exactly were you going to do first?
Then, like a prophetic vision from God, a wave of nostalgia brushed across your body, making you literally shiver. A flash of color and music and ice cream played in your mind. The name "Papa..." escaped your lips in a longing sigh.
In a flash, you've got google open, searching up Coolmathgames. Holy shit. HOLY SHIT. THE LINK IS PURPLE. Racing through the website, briefly noticing an account signed in, and nearly breaking the mouse as you clicked on the link for "Papa's Freezeria".
....HE HAS A SAVE FILE!! RANK 20!??? When the hell does he have the time to play this??
Despite your sense of curiosity absolutely HOWLING, you knew you had already snooped more than enough, so making your own save file it is, you suppose.
-
Has it been an hour? Maybe two? Who knows, there's no use in me asking anyways because the time certainly hasn't crossed your mind. You're glued to the game, having a nearly perfected strategy executed with each and every cartoon-y costumer. You probably don't even remember whose computer you're playing on - this reality and the reality of Freezeria have entirely merged to you.
At least, that's the case before you feel one hand clamp down on the back of your chair, and another landing on top of your own hand that's gripping the mouse.
"I thought I told you to wait?"
Ghiaccio is clearly restraining himself, there's a rasp in his voice that you only hear when he's giving his all to not shout. Your lips are sealed shut, unsure how to justify your current situation. He must have then taken a good look at the screen because next thing he said was-
"And why the FUCK are you playing THAT!?"
Shit, you legit didn't have an answer. As he's standing there giving you a weirded out look, you remember the hypocrisy in his anger. You stutter wildly, still trying to reach for some explanation, as you duplicate the tab to start the game again - you swear you see his face drop. You point at his save file with a "huh!!" sound, and suddenly he's red in the face, hand retreating from on top of yours as if the contact suddenly burned him.
"Fine!! Whatever. Just finish the fuck up and..." he groans. It always feels good to embarrass him, and plus you know he can never stay mad at you for long.
"I will, I'm almost done with this day. Last order," you promise, clicking back to your original tab and getting right back to work. Ghiaccio has nothing else to do but stand and watch you play. What you don't see is his face slowly contorting in disgust as you sloppily dump toppings over the dessert.
"That's not how you place the cherries!!! That one's supposed to be centered, and the other two have to be NEATLY placed apart! They're gonna fucking hate it!" Ghiaccio exclaims, stabbing the screen with his index finger. You roll your eyes, it definitely doesn't surprise you that he's a perfectionist in this video game.
You both watch in anticipation as the costumer tastes their ice cream, and when a 72% score appears over the "top station" button you let out a cheer. You swivel your chair to face Ghiaccio and gesture to the screen, "see? they liked it!!"
He scoffs at the score, "it sure wasn't deserved."
"What!?" you put a hand on your chest in fake-hurt, "how dare you. Louie would never treat me like this!!"
Ghiaccio blinks at you with wide eyes, needing several long seconds to process what you just said.
"...Since when were you on a one-name basis with Papa Louie!?"
#this is pure crack#im so sorry#la squadra#jjba x reader#la squadra x reader#ghiaccio x reader#IDK WHY I WROTE THIS. BUT I DID. AND IT WAS FUN#imagine cheating on ghiaccio with papa louie /j#I hope this is at least entertaining LMAO#i started this semi seriously and then gave up

you know leon is real when ada is stuck somewhere and while she thinks leon is hacking into a PC he's actually playing papa's freezeria and getting 100% on all service points (waiting, building, serving)
kinda like
"HACK THIS DAMN THING COME ON"
"WAIT I'M STILL EXTRACTING THIS GUY'S TOOTH, I'M IN A FLASH GAME MODE"
"WE'RE ALL DEAD"
NOT THE PAPA'S FREEZERIA OMG but yeah he would probably play it while pretending to be hacking something, taking his sweet time with it too. especially the leon who is a drunk after, i think infinite darkness is when he is on his lowest of drinking? idk, chris and leon should make out cuz they are both drunks but that's not the point LMAO

Mystia's Izakaya is like, so fun. Like I've never played Papa's Pizzeria but I imagine this is the feeling 8 year old me would've gotten had she played Papa's Freezeria in 2010. I did play other similar games but I don't remember the name of literally any of them but I think there was a spongebob one? maybe? but like, it's like that, and it's fun, and i like it :)
I'm surprised I haven't really played a ton of these types of games since I was really young, like when I think about it I really probably should've? Like, I love games with these type of vibes, like one of my favourite game series is Rune Factory (rare capitalization of a series name that's how much I love it) and while that is a different genre of game, that's more of a farming simulation/dating sim, it's still got like, a similar feeling to this. Like it's mostly very relaxing, but it also can and sometimes does get pretty stressful and tense, even if it's not actually that difficult at all. And I've come to realize I really enjoy that type of game, where it's a generally lax atmosphere, but if I really want to take it seriously and min-max I can absolutely make it as stressful as I want lol. I don't know a ton of other games like Mystia's Izakaya aside from old flash games, like I know a ton of them absolutely exist, they're just so out of my normal scope of search that I just haven't really heard about many, so I may look into some more now, this has opened a whole new world to me, and those are always my favorite games, I love expanding my horizons! I LOVE COLLECTING KNOWLEDGE I LOVE GATHERING INFORMATION I LOVE OBSESSING OVER NEW AREAS OF EXPERTISE AND LEARNING MORE ABOUT MYSELF AND MY INTERESTS AND GAINING A DEEPER APPRECIATION OF THE WORLD!!!
I'm still not anywhere near the end either, so definitely looking forward to slowly making my way through the game, hopefully I don't start getting tired of it and hating it by the end, that unfortunately happens with far too many games... I have like, about 10 hours of actual gameplay put in so far tho, and according to howlongtobeat it's around like 40 hours, and while I do play games exceptionally slowly, it usually takes a lot more than 40 hours to get to the point of exhaustion for me, especially if I pace myself, so I'm confident I can get to the end while still loving the game! AND ONE OF THE DLC ADDS A BUNCH OF PC-98 CHARACTERS I LOVE TOUHOU PC-98 ERA I LOVE SHINKI!!!!! they probably don't add Yuugen-Magan and Sariel my beloveds though :c sigh the coolest weird freak characters never get any good representation kicks a rock, or possibly even a small stone sadly
I DIDN'T EVEN MENTION HOW GOOD THE GAME LOOKS AAAAAAAAA I LOVE THE CHARACTER SPRITE ART IT LOOKS SO FRICKING GOOD THEY'RE ALL SO CUTE!!! I LOVE TOUHOU CHARACTER DESIGNS I LOVE HIGHLY DETAILED PIXEL ART CHARACTER PORTRAITS!!!!!!!!!
#it's such a fun little game it's so cute i should play more touhou games#dollgore#i love kasen's sprite especially; so far she's like probably my favorite of the ones i've seen#also there's a little comic inside the game done by the artist for onimai which is really cute

I started using the internet (for more than school at least) when I was 10 on Scratch. I made friends though there and learned coding basics I'm using now in my Game Design class. I talked to people who were also interested in Steven Universe and My Little Pony and made animations and games about them.
When I was a little older, I played a lot of Flash games. (rip adobe flash.) My favorites were those operate now simulators and the Papa's -eria games (my favorite is the freezeria.)
The past few years, places like Scratch and Tumblr have helped me with my self-discovery and realizing I'm LGBTQ. I probably wouldn't have known about any of it otherwise. I'd still be confused and feeling like I was broken somehow if I didn't have that.
Tumblr, Pinterest, and Youtube give me a way to learn art that I wouldn't have otherwise.
Without the internet, webcomics like Castoff and Nimona and Heartstopper wouldn't exist and that'd just be terrible.
I learn about a lot of world news from here, I sign petitions and send emails to reps when I can. I wouldn't be able to do any of that without the internet.
Internet spaces are so, so important. We can't let them take this away from us. KOSA won't help anyone. It'll only hurt people.
FUCK KOSA. I want you to share your story of being on the internet. yes, you. i want you to reblog and share your story about how the internet has helped you. please tag this post and spread the word around. i am a trans minor and with the internet i have made some of the most amazing and wonderful friends that are like me in many ways and made me feel like i was not alone. without the internet i pobably would have never met them, and without them i probably wouldn't still be standing, i love my friends like they're my blood family. so if this kosa law goes into effect then me, my friends and many other lgbtq kids/adults will no longer have a safe space. and not just the lgbtq community. but people who need an abortion for whatever purpose, people to stand in support for palestine and so much more! without this then people will no longer have a safe space which will only make things worse, it doesn't make anything better. it makes it things worse than before. WE'VE FOUGHT BEFORE AND WE WILL FIGHT AGAIN.
@ang31ey3s-d3mons3edz @an-theduckin @calamugria @doinadigitaldnazing and all my other friends i wasn't able to tag. i love y'all with every bit of my heart like you're blood family and i would never replace y'all for anything. wihtout this then we would've never met, and i am so glad im not in a world where i never met such awesome and loving people. <3

In Which Ashley Unfriends Me On Everything!
So on twitter @slumberlands mentioned she wanted fanfiction of her characters...and since I’m a FUCKING goblin I did it. I’m sorry Ashley please I love you don’t unfollow me lol. Also if you do approve I have plans for other chapters so just a heads up this won’t be the last time possibly lol. Anyways enjoy this trainwreck!
“I’m telling you Stella it was an angel, a violent, sexy angel” Stella sighs as she snips another section of the man’s hair ‘Lee you’re being ridiculous. First angels are not real, second you can’t fall for every guy you see. Especially not some random man who saves you from a mugging” Lee laughs “Told ya Stella it wasn’t a mugging, it COULD have been a mugging, but it wasn’t BECAUSE my angel saved me.” Stella looks up at the mirror, so Lee could see her glaring at him. “You know I don’t have my glasses, right? I can’t see you glaring.” She rolls her eyes going back to cutting his hair “No but you can feel it huh?” They both chuckle as she finishes up his cut. ‘There you go finished, though I really wished you let me cut your bangs.” She ruffles the long hair that covers his left eye. “At least I’m not blonde anymore” They both shiver at those dark times.
Lee slides out the chair standing over Stella by a good foot. “How much Stel?” She shakes her head “Nah this one’s on me. Think of it as payback for dinner last week.” She says as Lee takes out his wallet “Stella I got to pay you something” She shakes her head again “Not a chance, besides you have to get back to work soon.’ They both look at the clock “Fuck you’re right” He roughly pulls out a crumpled 20 and shoves it in the tip jar on Stella’s station “Bye love you!” he shouts as he sprints out using his long legs to his advantage to exit the shop before he can hear Stella complain about the money.
Once a safe distance away he slows down laughing to himself. He lazily walks the city streets looking at the buildings as he makes his way back to the tattoo shop. He stops looking at some bright roses outside a corner florist, they’re a nice contrast against the gray stormy atmosphere of the day. “Should probably get some for Stella as an apology for running out like that” he mutters playing with one of the petals “Maybe after work” he shrugs turning stepping off the curb behind him.
It all happens at once Lee hears a honk a flash of light and somebody grabbing his arm hauling him off the street onto the sidewalk where he falls back right on his ass. “What the hell were you thinking?” a gruff voice almost barks at him as he tries to reorient himself. Lee looks up to see a shorter rather built looking blonde man, Lee looks him over something in his brain almost recognizing him but failing to make that last connection. “Let me repeat myself what in the actual fuck we’re you doing? Do you want to die?” the man stands scowling at him “Uh no s-sorry I just wasn’t paying attention.” Lee nervously chuckles “Wasn’t? Jesus fucking Christ you some kind of idiot?” the mystery man scoffs, Lee furrows his brows standing up “I didn’t ask for your help, it’s appreciated but seriously you don’t get to insult me just because you saved me” Lee brushes himself off catching eyes on a scrapped palm that he prays silently won’t heal and leave another scar. “Whatever man just be careful” the man turns and Lee watches as he heads into the florist shop and gets behind the counter putting on an apron. Lee snorts wondering how such an unpleasant man could work in such a pleasant looking place. He moves forward using the crosswalk this time turning the last corner and heading into work.
“Lee you’re late” he hears almost immediately as soon as he walks in Tatiana, his boss, stands giving him a joking smirk. “Sorry Tatty almost died on the way here, so sorry if that inconveniences your day so much” he laughs “Just get on the phone so Sam can get back to work” Lee nods sliding behind the desk Sam getting up “Died huh? How this time?” She kind of chuckles Lee rolling his eyes at the sarcasm in her tone “I did, I wasn’t looking and almost got hit by a car. Some random guy pulled me off the street before I did.” Lee sits looking at the computer logging in and looking over the calendar. A certain entry catches his eye “Sam why the hell do you have something called Ronnie’s birthday saved for Friday?” Sam looks up from her station “What? Oh right, that’s my friend Ronnie’s birthday” Lee sighs “I got that but why is it in our work calendar?” Lee says exasperated as Sam laughs “Oh Ron’s brother sent me a text reminding me, so I just put it in.”
“Why didn’t you just put it in your phone calendar?” Tatty asks, Sam gives a quizzing look “You know I’m not sure” The eye roll between the two others in the shop is audible. “Relax you know you two should come, you can even bring Ellison, Tat” Tatty looks over at Lee “What day is it?” Lee looks back at the calendar “Uhhh Sunday” he calls back “No can do, that’s our date night.”
“What about you Lee might meet a cute someone to date? Come with me huh?”
“I’ll uh I’ll think about” Lee gives her a polite smile. She goes to say more but is cut off by a customer entering the shop. Lee helps them check in and directs them to Sam who can’t say more as she has to now focus on the girl who’s walked in. Lee turns back looking over the birthday saved in the calendar, he goes to delete it off the work calendar but finds himself hesitating. Something inside him says to write the information down. “Fuck it” he mutters under his breath he takes a post-it note writing down the details before clearing it out. He stares at the note before shoving it in his pocket trying to push it out of his mind for at least today.
The rest of the day is pretty subpar Lee listening to whatever cryptid podcast he has downloaded to drown out the sound of the tattoo guns as he takes appointments or rather waits for people to come and try to make appointments. To be honest he’s probably spent more of the day playing Papa’s Freezeria more than taking appointments just as a way to make time pass faster. Lee peeks over at the clock seeing he has three minutes till the shop closes. He groans internally looking over at his freezeria where all progress will be lost very soon. Nevertheless, he closes the window and starts getting ready to go home when he hears the familiar sound of the door opening, a bell ringing through the shop. Lee groans looking up at the bitch who has the audacity to come in last minute almost literally.
His heart stops seeing the rude blonde man from earlier who while he did save his life was still a royal dick. “Hey, I want to make an appointment” he walks up to the counter and Lee prays he just doesn’t recognize him. “Uh sure do you have an artist in mind?” Lee looks down more thankful now than ever that Stella didn’t cut his bangs. “I need someone who can do a big traditional piece.” He says looking at the art on the wall. “Then you’ll want Tatiana, we can set up a consult appointment on Friday at 3” Lee says looking at the calendar knowing there are earlier dates, but Friday is his day off, best way to minimize contact with this guy. “Yeah that should work” Lee lets out a sigh of relief “Ok and I’ll need a name and a number to contact.” The guy nods giving his number “And your name?” Lee peaks out from his hair curtain as the man stands seeming almost like he’s contemplating telling him his name. “Yeah, it’s Ben, Ben Williams”

ooh ask game! hm. 🎮 🎃 👨🍳 🎞 🌌 and 🍴 for bakeria. hope i didnt send too many and i have to agree i like werewolves a lot and even though johnny's werewolf costume is. a costume hes a werewolf in my own universe ig.
first game: freezeria was probably the first game i ever played since everyone played it back then and the site i was on shoved it in your face like there weren’t like million other flash games
fav and least fav customer alt. style/costume: ofc i really love werewolf johnny, but another close favorite is tony’s mothman form bc that honestly scared me when i saw it on the wiki. chester’s alt. styles and costume are really great too and it kinda warms my hard to see that the grumpy old guy still dresses up for halloween. xolo in particular has some very uninteresting and kinda ugly alt. styles and costumes and he has like way too many of those and clair has a very questionable top that she wears in her current style, but given that i have only ever seen her in her hospital scrubs i will count that as her alt. style
fav and least fav introduction: the pizzeria one is def one of my favorites bc it’s mostly animated and you can really see the emotions coming from roy (especially that shaky hand he gets when he finds out that he has to run the pizzeria). the tacoria one gives a bit more personality to the chefs and i like that. (also the freezeria opening lowkey exposes papa louie and honestly, that’s what he deserves) my least favorite would probably be the burgeria one, it’s kinda hard to follow and barely anything happens. wingeria is close, simply bc it seems very uninspired. fav and least fav location: i really love sakura bay and maple mountain bc of the atmosphere there. i’m kinda not really a fan of frostfield, idk why, and tacodale seems a bit boring
my order for bakeria: yeah lemme get the uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh chocolate crust with the cherry and fudge filling, the lattice top and some cherry syrup

i mean, we've seen in the past, the two (and only) devs did show that they wanted to make more types of games (like a Cactus McCoy 3...), but we've never really seen anything other than Restauranterias after like, 2015? or 2012 if we don't count Papa Louie 3.
sure, i love the Restauranteria format, and i'm defos excited for Papa's Paleteria (even if i likely can't play it... more on that in a bit)... but goddamn, wouldn't it be nice if we could see some more varied games getting made!
i feel like Flipline is sticking to the Papa games because it's their most recognized ip, and that makes the most money... i mean, they kinda have to, because the other options are to raise the price of the games, or insert ads in the games, which i don't think they're keen on doing.
but it's also a format that's been working for a while, and it's not like they have to tweak them too much for each new game they make. there's work that needs to be put into them of course, but like, less than developing an entirely new game altogether. which is good, because these games are made between two people (one of them has 4 children), and are released near-yearly.
it makes me think though... is this really sustainable?
first off, aren't they burned out by now? they've been doing this for 18 years straight (with a single dry year of 2009), and you can only do the same thing over and over again before you start to run out of ideas. Matt Neff and Tony Solary seem like genuinely creative people, because if you look at their earlier projects a lot of them had a world with a story behind it. it's a shame they've been stuck to one world since 2012, because i'd love to see what other worlds they could think of.
second, how long can they keep a formula running before people start losing interest? like, either people get tired of the formula, or a worthy competitor arises (because honestly? aside from like, Good Pizza Great Pizza, i really can't think of a decent cooking game on mobile, and i think that's part of what keeps the company relevant). and if people do lose interest... where can they fall back to? (the studio's probs not gonna fall any time soon though, since Freezeria To Go! is like, 4th in rank for Apple games. but it's probably not a good idea to put your eggs in one basket.)
third, don't they feel like they're missing out on a lot? don't they ever feel disappointed they never got a chance to make different games? an original title, or at least a sequel to another game? they've expressed wanting to make another Cactus McCoy game... in 2013. i guess it's on infinite hold.
don't they ever want to make more desktop/modern ports of older games so more people could play their games? they've seen the boom Freezeria Deluxe made last year, shit, that was the reason I got into the Papa Louie games in the first place. because otherwise, with Flash down, and me not really having nostalgia for the series, i never would've looked into the games in the first place. i'd argue that they need to make PC ports if they want more dedicated fans. ...don't they ever think about merch? look i wont lie i need merch. Flipdecks have not been re-released in years, the available shirt and sticker merch are frankly bad (and also really old), and god knows what happened to Chuck and Akari's Statuettes. it's nice they're collabing with Makeship to create plushies, but those are temporary. (were Grumpy Onions a temporary thing too? they're not listed anywhere on the store anymore, but it never really said anywhere they were limited in stock...?)
i appreciate the efforts of Matt Neff and Tony Solary, but... i think they're stretching things a bit too thin between two people.
i think Flipline Studios really needs to hire more people

i got kenma? i dont know if that’s an insult or even accurate.
aww, a kenma kinnie. let's see- you spent your childhood on the computer playing flash games. that's just a fact. pack it up, papa's freezeria. anyways as a child you constantly made up excuses to get out of PE. you wish you would've spent more time "being a kid", but at the same time you have a really hard time actually remembering your childhood. you feel like you were just plopped onto earth a year ago. you probably either have your hair dyed an unnatural color or REALLY want it to be. you've always been the quiet kid and you LOVE listening to music. you're most likely to be found with headphones on at any given moment. you seem sweet, and most of the time you are, but you do NOT hesitate to slap people. and you can actually roast people really well. seriously, how do you come up with those genius insults?? oh, also, you think catboys are hot. that's just a fact.
fuckin wtf is this
haikyuu kin test
