it had to have been painful for Ten, during the time period when she knew where Nine was but weren't fully connected to them. i can't imagine waiting for 434 days, waiting for Nine's responses and getting all of Nine's "Please answer"s little by little while she waits and i... oh, oh, it just breaks my heart.
Ten... probably was in that situation too, wasn't she? maybe she knew how terrifying it is to be all alone for god knows how long, and then suddenly not, before being more alone than ever... maybe that was how she remained so calm, she was determined to get in contact with her sibling no matter what, so that they wouldn't be all alone anymore.
