ACOTAR MEN AND THE SPORTS I THINK THEY WOULD PLAY:
Tumblr media
note: this is all up for interpretation, so feel free to list your suggestions in the comments !!
rhysand: definitely a big shot baseball player. can imagine him in the traditional pinstriped yankees uniform. real smug bastard on the field, mind-fuck strategist.
cassian: is a beast at heavy weight sports, but this man cannot run to save his life. prefers more stationary sports like boxing and wrestling. competes in weightlifting events for fun.
azriel: only participates in team sports if cassian and rhysand are playing, but i think he would thrive in individual or one-on-one sports. martial arts like bjj (brazilian jiu-jitsu) and judo are his best.
tamlin: this man screams front row prop. say your thoughts and prayers because he will quite literally go beast mode and bulldoze you over. always getting carded and warnings because he can’t reign in his temper.
lucien: now call me biased but lucien is a jack of all trades. he dabbles in all sorts of sports, mostly of which are unconventional, and is really good at them once he puts his mind to it. that being said i would say he plays a mix of track and field, lacrosse and volleyball. occasionally does archery and swimming.
tarquin: any and all water sports and baby tarquin is undefeated. loves waterpolo and competitive swimming.
varian: wind-surfing, for sure. i would also say rowing; amren especially loves his arms.
helion: is definitely a former rugby jock. a literal powerhouse on and off the field. those thunder thighs be THIGHING. also dabbles in shot put because i feel like he would unironically be really good at it.
thesan: he gives me major badminton vibes. i dont know why, but just racket sports in general??????
kallias: any and all winter sports and kallias is there. a pro at ice hockey and speed skating. likes to do duo figure skating with viviane.
beron: is literally one of those middle age, upper middle class white men who spend all their free time at the country club, sipping on top shelf whiskey and abusing the clubs workers. probably plays golf and tennis, croquet too but hes too prideful and thinks its for old people.

I love finding out about neat FKMT Promo stuff from you blog and I was wondering if you knew anything about these Kaiji trading cards (ReăƒăƒŒă‚č äŒŠè—€ă‚«ă‚€ă‚ž SNR).
I randomly found them and was intrigued, but I couldn't find much info about them or their purpose, so I was wondering if you knew anything about these cards.
I am immensely curious !!
Tumblr media
Oh yeah! Those are collaboration cards for a game called “rebirth (reăƒăƒŒă‚č) for you”, which has an ungodly amount of collaborations with things like touhou, vtubers, pro wrestling, fate, re: zero, higurashi, pro wrestling again, world wonder ring stardom (another wrestling thing), that one Godzilla anime, and, of course, kaiji.
I have no idea how this game works functionally

Little unknown facts about me. My father got me turned onto Hockey when I was 13 by giving some NHL trading cards he found one day. My brother Charles (RIP) got me turned onto football when he played in High School and College. And my most favorite my Mama/ Best Friend (RIP) introduced me to Pro Wrestling through the Von Erichs. Wtaching them every Saturday night at 11 p.m. on Channel 11. And my brother would always have me and my little sister as his Wrestling dummies. He would always yell "The Claw", "The Claw".!!!!! Which is why I'm the sports fan I am today. I'm so grateful for those 2 Heavenly Angel introducing to things I enjoy now

Pro Wrestling Illustrated : APRIL 1996
close-up: THE KID
part 1
Transcript Below!!!
Continued teaming with Holly; they scored numerous victories over the Heavenly Bodies
Seconded Ramon for his Wrestlemania XI I-C title match against Jarrett and helped clear the ring of Jarrett and The Roadie after the match, which ended with “Double-J” being disqualified
That started a new feud, with Ramon and The Kid going after Jarrett and Roadie. But in a tag team match on April 24. The Kid reaggravated a neck injury he suffered earlier in the month
Was pinned by The Roadie in one of his earliest return matches
Was pinned by Hakushi at SummerSlam ‘95
Trouble started brewing during a match between Ramon and Dean Douglas at the September 24 In Your House card
Referee Tim White was hurt and out of position when Ramon had Douglas covered. Kid bounded into the ring and made a three-count for White; Ramon mistakenly thought the ref was counting and broke the cover, then shoved Kid out of the ring. Razor was then rolled up by Douglas for the pin
Ramon threw Kid into the ring again, and the two traded blows
Kid and Ramon shook hands after their match the next night at Raw and agreed to end their feud
 It was wishful thinking
Ramon and Kid teamed to wrestle WWF World tag champions The Smokin’ Gunns at In Your House IV
They wrestled like rulebreakers and would have won had Ramon covered Billy Gunn after executing his “Razor’s Edge”
Ramon and Kid split after Kid refereed Ramon and Sid Vicious match on October 23. He pulled Sid out of Ramon’s “Razor Edge,” then made a fast three-count on Ramon, accepted some cash from Ted DiBiase, and left the ring
Took on DiBiase as his manager and is now a full-blown rulebreaker who’s no longer the fan’s favorite underdog
Look for him to team with Sid regularly in the near future.
TOUGHEST OPPONENT Owen Hart. They have met on several occasions, and Kid has yet to score a clean victory. The most heartbreaking defeat came at the 1994 King of the Ring tournament, when an injured Kid lost to Hart in the semifinals. Earlier in the night, he had been piledrived three times by Jeff Jarrett. Kid had several chances to win the exciting semifinal match, but he finally succumbed to a “sharpshooter” at 3:36. MOST HATED OPPONENT Shawn Michaels. They've certainly had their differences over the years. Several years ago, Kid lost to Michaels on Monday Night Raw, and Michaels punctuated the win by twice power-bombing Kid. Razor Ramon came to his rescue. Though Kid is now a rulebreaker and Michaels a fan favorite, they still have their differences, probably because Michaels and The Kid are so alike. They have huge egos and use similar styles.
FAVORITE MOVE
Reverse spinning kick. Ask Kid to name his favorite move and he’ll give you a long list. He has a lot of them in his repertoire. He loves climbing to the top rope and leaping at an opponent. But he seems to rely most upon a spinning kick that has incredible impact. Victims often wonder. How can a man so small execute a move that hurts so much and comes at you so quickly?
GREATEST MATCH
vs. Sabu, April 17,1993. The Kid had just made his first WWF appearance in the WWF, and he hadn’t impressed many people with a loss to Louie Spicolli. But they should have seen his match against Sabu on an independent card in Minnesota. It was an aerial spectacle in which both men looked like they were trying to destroy each other. After a few minutes, Kid had been bloodied. He won by DQ. When the bout was over, he knew he was ready for the WWF

The Ultimate Oscillator and Housing Starts: A Game-Changing Forex Strategy Why the Ultimate Oscillator + Housing Starts Data Is a Forex Game-Changer If you’ve ever dabbled in Forex, you know the thrill. The dizzying highs, the stomach-lurching lows, and sometimes the painful realization that your strategy was about as solid as a house of cards. Speaking of houses, did you know that housing starts data can actually be a significant player when it comes to analyzing the Forex market? And paired with the Ultimate Oscillator—yeah, that market momentum indicator that’s like a mood ring for Forex traders—it becomes a power couple you probably didn’t know you needed in your life. Now, let's dive into how to use these two in tandem without the usual jargon that makes you wish you'd picked knitting instead of Forex trading. Housing Starts: The Market's Crystal Ball Let’s start with housing starts. Imagine you could predict the economic mood of a country simply by counting how many houses were being built. In many ways, you can. Housing starts—the number of new residential construction projects—give us an indicator of economic confidence. When people are confident in their future earnings, they build houses. When they’re not... well, let's just say that kitchen renovation gets put off indefinitely, like that diet you were totally starting on Monday. For currency traders, this data is more than just a report on homes. It tells us how solid the foundation is under a country’s currency. Take the USD, for example: stronger housing starts numbers tend to correlate with a stronger dollar. It's like spotting a mansion being built—you just know the neighborhood is probably doing alright. The Ultimate Oscillator: A Triple Threat The Ultimate Oscillator might sound like a pro wrestling move, but it's actually a momentum indicator that combines short, medium, and long-term market cycles. Kind of like how you decide on a good deal at the supermarket by checking prices against different time frames—last week, last month, or when they were practically giving avocados away. The Ultimate Oscillator uses three different periods to create a weighted average, offering a more nuanced look at whether a currency is overbought or oversold. Why? Because no one wants to get whipsawed out of a trade just because of a false signal. The Ultimate Oscillator is like that skeptical friend who always asks, "Are you sure?" Why Most Traders Get It Wrong Most traders look at housing starts and think, "Okay, good or bad, move along." But here’s where they go wrong—they don’t marry this with a technical tool that adds depth to the sentiment. They treat housing starts data as a standalone signal, like putting on a single glove to go outside (which is a look that never worked for anyone except Michael Jackson). Housing starts give you context—the "why" behind the market movement. But it’s the Ultimate Oscillator that can help you answer the "when" to enter or exit a trade. How to Combine Housing Starts and the Ultimate Oscillator for Game-Changing Results 1. Pre-Data Release: Setting the Scene Before housing starts data hits the headlines, use the Ultimate Oscillator to gauge momentum. Is the currency showing an overbought condition? You might want to prepare for a possible reversal if the housing starts disappoint. Think of it like betting against the hype at an overcrowded concert—when everyone’s excited, there’s a good chance expectations are too high. 2. After the Housing Starts Release: The Confirmation Game Once the data is out, confirm with the Ultimate Oscillator. Let’s say housing starts come in much better than expected, and the currency spikes up. If the oscillator shows that we’re not in overbought territory, you’ve got the green light. It’s like seeing that pair of designer shoes still at half price and in your size—you don't hesitate, you grab it. 3. Hidden Trend Strength Here’s an expert-level tactic: the divergence between price action and the Ultimate Oscillator. If housing starts are booming but the oscillator shows waning momentum, this could signal that the rally doesn’t have legs. It’s a bit like seeing an Instagram influencer post all those vacation photos—looks amazing, but you know they’re on their last credit card. The Forgotten Strategy That Outsmarted the Pros Most Forex traders overlook the relationship between housing data and technical indicators, focusing on one at the cost of the other. But that’s where the magic happens—in the overlap. Using housing starts to gauge economic confidence while confirming entries with the Ultimate Oscillator is like making sure your parachute is packed before jumping out of the plane. Pretty important stuff, right? And if you want to make this even more bulletproof, start considering regional nuances. For example, the US housing market doesn’t move in isolation. Changes in commodity prices, like lumber or copper (yep, those boring charts matter too), often have a ripple effect on the housing starts data, which then influences the currency. Case Study: A Real-Life Example to Follow Back in April this year, US housing starts surprised on the upside, causing an immediate jump in the USD against major currencies. A lot of traders chased the move up, assuming the party would continue all night. But the Ultimate Oscillator was flashing overbought levels—a clear indication that the rally was running on borrowed time. And just like that friend who stays at a party past midnight thinking they can handle it, the USD started to stumble. Savvy traders who waited for the oscillator to normalize before entering on a pullback ended up taking home the biggest profits. Ninja Tactics for Trading Housing Starts and the Ultimate Oscillator - Don’t Be Fooled by Just One Candle: Housing starts data can cause a knee-jerk reaction, but always wait for a confirmation from the Ultimate Oscillator before entering. One candle does not make a trend, much like one green juice does not make you healthy. - Setting Alerts for Divergences: Use your trading platform to set alerts for when housing starts data diverges from oscillator signals. If housing data spikes but the oscillator is cooling off, it’s like a hot coffee on a summer day—just because it’s hot doesn’t mean it’s what you want. - Pair It with Key Levels: Align the Ultimate Oscillator with support and resistance levels that coincide with housing starts data releases. This helps you avoid false signals and keeps you grounded in the reality of price action. Trading isn’t just about staring at a chart and hoping your intuition guides you to glory. It’s about connecting the dots that others miss—like how housing starts data can forecast broader economic health and how the Ultimate Oscillator can tell you if the market’s ready to boogie or if it’s time to call it a night. The next time housing starts data rolls out, try pairing it with the Ultimate Oscillator. See if you can spot where the smart money is setting up, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll be the one with the edge while others are still figuring out which indicator does what. And if you need a community to bounce these ideas around, or just more advanced strategies that the textbooks never tell you about, check out our exclusive community at StarseedFX. It’s where all the really good secrets are hiding. —————– Image Credits: Cover image at the top is AI-generated Read the full article

From Oil Fields to Sports Fields: Saudi Arabia’s Power Over the Sporting World.
By Max Taylor
In the past five years, Saudi Arabia has become a major player on the global sports stage, going beyond it's traditions to embrace a new era of competition.  From hosting high profile events across the country such as Formula 1 races and international golf tournaments to investing heavily in the Saudi Pro League with household names such as Cristiano Ronaldo, the kingdom is redefining it's identity through sport. The country is set to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup making it the second time in 12 years the tournament has been held in the Middle East and makes the country one of the new homes for sport in the world.
Tumblr media

The transformation not only reflects a strategic vison for the economy but also a massive cultural shift as the nation seeks to connect with a more broad and diverse audience across the world. Saudi Arabia is also gradually embracing a more westernized approach becoming more acceptant with different lifestyles and cultures to further their ambitions as a leading nation in sport.
Saudi Arabia located in the middle east has significant Islamic history as the birthplace of the religion. Saudi Arabia today still remains the central hub for Islam housing the two holiest cites for Muslims, Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia is also the world’s biggest oil exporter making them as country extortionary amounts of money.
With Major events like Riyadh Season they have quickly become a celebration of culture and entertainment showcasing different events that highlight the country’s transformation. Over the past year the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh has started to get some of the best fights and events in combat sports history due to Riyadh Season and the backing of the Saudi government. The events have significantly boosted brand visibility and engagement, leading to lucrative partnerships as companies capitalize on the heightened interest in entertainment and tourism.
The events also offer Saudi Arabia to promote their own culture as the events attract international visitors and gives them an understanding of their culture.
As Saudi Arabia continues to invest and develop its sports culture, boxing and other combat sports such as MMA and pro wrestling have emerged as a massive sport that take place at Riyadh Season attracting both international and local interest.
(Over a million people have visited Riyadh Season since its birth and has now become a massive part of the sporting world)
From the first big fight in 2018 when Antony Joshua fought Andy Ruiz Jnr to now you have seen impressive growth and stability thanks to Riyadh Season and the impressive cards it keeps producing. It almost seems as if everyone should be happy with what Saudi Arabia is doing for the country but is that the case?
Sports Washing and Soft Power
Saudi Arabia has come under huge criticism for its human rights record, with restrictions on freedom of speech or expression, gender inequality and extremely harsh punishments for dissent. Despite the ongoing international scrutiny, the Saudi government has implemented limited reforms while continuing to suppress political opposition and impose restrictions on civil liberties.
Human Rights advocates have argued that the lack of progress on the situation highlights a systemic disregard for individual freedom and is being overshadowed by the country’s alliances and economic interests.
The situation very much complicates international effects to promote human rights as many nations have economic ties and security partnerships to Saudi Arabia. There are also accusations of Hypocrisy towards foreign policy due to this.
As a result, many have called for a more robust and principled approach to engagement with Saudi Arabia urging governments to prioritize human rights in trade deals and agreements to try and foster a meaningful change in the kingdom.
The kingdoms’ aggressive push for visibility on the global stage has raised massive concerns about sports washing, a tactic that’s been employed to improve the counties image whilst overshadowing its human rights issues. By investing in international sports such as Boxing, MMA and WWE to acquiring a stake in football club Newcastle United, Saudi Arabia aims to reshape its worldwide reputation and exert soft power, effectively diverting the attention away from their domestic problems.
In a recent article posted on the guardian by Ruth Michaelson, it states that Saudi Arabia has spent £4.9bn in sports deals since early 2021 which was more than quadruple the amount spent over a 6-year period.
Read the article Here
Other events have also attracted attention for sports washing and the Saudi Government exerting soft power and influence on the world.
Riyadh Season has expanded its brand internationally, highlighted by a major British title fight at Wembley Stadium where Antony Joshua faced Daniel Dubois earlier this year. Faced with major backlash from British press and British boxing fan alike the Saudi Arabia national anthem was sung before the main event.
Also, there was some backlash over the fact the people were handing out free programmes promoting Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Season. These Programmes contained Saudi tourism and Events and people didn’t feel it was right to be constantly handed and fed Saudi information.
Lucas Accardo who attended the event at Wembley Stadium said “You were constantly handed Saudi Propaganda when walking down Wembley way, Outside the Stadium and also inside”. “You could see people been forced to take it and then throwing it in the bin Which makes the whole process pointless though I don’t care about as we had a mega fight thanks to Saudi Arabia”.
Tumblr media
(Accardo was in attendance at Wembley Stadium for the stacked Riyadh Season card) Credit: Lucas Accardo.
“Riyadh Season has totality reinvented boxing as we know it, we are now getting the best and biggest fights in the world and its all down to them”. “In the past year we have seen Tyson Fury vs Usyk a title unification match and a match that we wouldn’t have expected if it wasn’t for Riyadh season’
He further added “the money that Riyadh season and the Saudi government are offering is definitely a factor in why we are getting the best fights now but let it carry on as I feel entertained and excited about what else is to come”
Accardo also commented on the fact the Saudi national anthem was played inside Wembley Stadium stating “If that’s what it takes to get the bests fights to happen in England I’m completely fine with it”.
This comes after comments made by Matchroom Chairmen Eddie Hearn commenting on the decision. Hearn commented after the backlash defending the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority and the chairman Turki Alalshikh who’s an advisor in the country’s royal court.
Tumblr media
When Speaking about Turki he said he was more than entitled to have the anthem played as a ‘sign of respect’. ‘He’s given British boxing, all the fighters, all the fans, the best night, he’s paid for it all.
WWE is another company to commit a long-term partnership with Saudi Arabia hosting major Pay Per Views across the kingdom and showcasing its biggest stars in their stadiums. While featuring high profile matches with iconic wrestlers that the kingdom, WWE expand its global reach, showing cultural exchange and providing fans in the region with a quality live experience.
Over this last weekend WWE hosted a premium live event in the Kingdom known as Crown Jewel. This thrilling event saw all of WWE major talent fight in the country including Roman Reigns and WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes.
instagram
(Cody Rhodes won his champion vs champion match against Gunther in Saudi Arabia Last Weekend).
There was also Women Fighting on the card showing Saudi Arabia progressing as previously women have been unable to fight on the card. Also, there were chants of WrestleMania (The Biggest WWE event) being screamed when Director Triple H was on stage leading to speculation that the event could take place in the Kingdom soon.
WWE host Crown Jewel every year in Saudi Arabia that has become a massive feature on the Wresting Calendar in recent years but it didn’t start that way. The show which first took place in 2018 faced a number of challenges that nearly killed off its reputation. From Saudi officials asking for dead wrestlers to appear at the show tied with the controversy surrounding the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the show faced serious backlash.
The 2019 Broadcast of the show was abruptly cut after WWE and Saudi Arabia faced money disputes. After the Show WWE planes faced alleged ‘mechanical issues’ which meant they were unable to make it to the planned Smackdown Live show the following night but many on the scene reported that the planes were grounded by the Saudi government on purpose.
Tumblr media
(The crown Prince pictured with ex WWE chairman Vince Mcmahon (Left) and WWE Chief Content Creator Triple H (Right) with the WWE Championship) Credit: Forbes.
In an article written by Fightful, a unnamed wrestler known as CW-2 due to lawsuits told them about how he and other wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan and Rick Flair were told ‘Someone doesn’t want us to leave the country’ as they were left stranded on a place. He also went to add that that there was a ‘ton of guards blocking the exit’.
You can read the Fightful article Here
The Seriousness of this incident shows The Kingdoms power over companies and the damaging effect it can have on future shows as WWE had no one to wrestle for them the following night and had to use developmental talent to carry the SmackDown Live show the next night.
But, WWE have reignited their partnership with Saudi Arabia and now proceed to to make outstanding showcases in the kingdom gaining praise from fans internationally.
But as WWE in Saudi Arabia captures global attention, the excitement surrounding the Saudi Pro League is also gaining momentum, showcasing the country’s growing influence in sports.
Will the Pro League Rival the Prem?
The Saudi Pro League (Saudi top-flight football division) is experiencing a massive surge in investment, with billions of pounds being put into their football teams to attract some of the best names in the football enhancing the leagues infrastructure.
The league is committed to acquiring high profile players and coaches whilst the financial status of the country aims to promote Saudi Arabia as a significant player in world football. Over the past year greats of the game such as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo have moved to the kingdom to play the game that they love and are receiving massive wage rises in their contracts even though they are both over the age of 30.
With a major financial backing and growing number of international stars, the Saudi Pro League could be poised to challenge the dominance of the Premier League and potentially transforming the global football landscape in the future.
Despite the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, Many Footballers still aspire to play in Europe, driven by the prestige of the big leagues and the chance to showcase their talent on the biggest stage in the UEFA Champions league. This desire often stems from the competitive environment and rich history the competition has to offer.
However, the Saudi Pro League is rapidly growing and now gives good reasons why players may consider it seriously.
Tumblr media
(Players like Ronaldo get millions of pounds for posting on social media Look below).
instagram
In an article by Rayhan Uddin for Middle eastern Eye, they discussed footballers making the move to Saudi. In this article, they presented a quote from Journalist Mostafa Mohamed.
Read Here.
‘For some Muslim players Approaching the twilight of their careers, the opportunity to experience and live in a Muslim nation is an attraction’
This article came after the ballon d’or winner at the time and also someone who practices Islam Karim Benzema moved to Pro League when he signed for Al-Ittihad and promotes the nation saying he’s planning to learn Arabic.
But will the Saudi Pro League ever rival the Premier League? The answer is yes potentially considering the amount of money being invested into the league and the fact that teams in the Pro League are gaining worldwide recantation due to the stars the teams have.
What’s the next steps for the Kingdom?
The 2034 world cup is set to take place in the kingdom allegedly beating Australia to host the biggest competition in the world. With Saudi Arabia’s human rights record and also rules about relationships with people from the same sex, drinking alcohol and also freedom of speech, the question should be how have they got it and should they host it?
But like the previous World Cups in Qatar who have similar human rights issues and Russia who are now currently at war with neighboring country Ukraine, FIFA haven’t had an issue with hosting in countries with human rights issues and have produced great tournaments. Well known pundits such as Gary Neville feel that we should address the issues in the counties.
Riyadh Season will again be hosting the 2nd bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on the 21st December, a fight that unified all the world titles earlier this year.
Info on times and where to buy it Here.
instagram
Saudi Arabia’s strategic investments in sport enables the nation to change its public perception and its global image. By hosting major events with some of the best athletes in the world, the kingdom does look to be using its soft power to influence and showcase their views and traditions. But by doing this they are limiting the audiences that can attend.
They might’ve won the hearts of mind of their nation but there’s still a long way to go if they want to win over the entire world.

Submarine mushrooms! Wrestling ants! Valvarad's antagonism! All this and more on these episodes of Kamen Rider Gotchard!
Spoilers, I guess...
-Tune Up!
-They fly now?!
-Y'know this Valvarad guy is pretty based, blowing up sexual predators.
-"Thanks for the help, man! I don't know what I'd have- Hey wait a second."
-Oh Spanner, you're gonna be an interesting one.
-...though in fairness, if I watched this when I was in this show's actual target demographic, I'd probably wanna base my entire personality off of you from Valvarad's design alone.
-Fun fact, in alchemy, a singular upright triangle represents the element of fire, and the connotations of love and passion.
-Very fitting for the themes of this season.
-"Hotaro???"
-Nothing stops information from bursting out.
-"He's sooooooo cooooooool~!"
-Rinne's not particularly enthused by your heroism.
-Treasure boy.
-"Golly, I don't know..."
-"I'll give you two holos for one mantis man."
-Energyl... Sasukemaru...
-"New friend~! :D... Kill him!"
-Spanner has no patience for your bureaucracy.
-Right okay, top brass, that means they're definitely evil.
-I know how secret societies in Kamen Rider work!
-Spanner's smile is a little disconcerting.
-Insect spotted!
-Oh hey there.
-That poor ant! Release them!
-I respect how seriously Hotaro's taking Atropos.
-Oh, Lachesis, you are...
-Definitely making waves somewhere.
-I see... so, the sisters become Insect Malgams?
-Course, I'd imagine once the season really starts picking up we'll see them branch out more.
-Get pheromoned, idiot.
-"Yeah okay, we're done here!"
-A labyrinth~!
-Ants! Ants! Hordes upon hordes of them!
-"Awwww, really~? It doesn't seem to make her all that happy... Daddy'd probably be real proud though if he wasn't so dead~!"
-I love Lachesis so much already.
-Aw, Rinne... :(
-That's a far worse betrayal than some institution.
-This is the good shit right here.
-"Go home Ichinose. Let me be consumed by the ants."
-Make his mom smile...
-Make everybody happy...
-All wonderful goals.
-There we go~! Up and at 'em, kids.
-Sodapoppin and Ninja. Two streamers at once.
-Ah, the old card shuriken trick.
-I used to try and perfect that all the time as a kid.
-This show is peak fiction.
-Deploying torpedo spores!
-"Ichinose, you motherfucker, don't-!"
-
-Gotchanko!
-Gotcha, Gotcha~! Gotcha Burning Fire~! Gotcha, Gotcha! Gotcha, Shining future~!
-Antrooper~! Sorry about that, sweetie.
-Man... that's some serious power behind
-"My mana reserves have run dry."
-Oh hey, this is the wild form from 4 Aces and Black Fox.
-"Gimme that, Ichinose >:( You're welcome, Kudoh-kun :)"
-"Culinary genius in the making~!"
-..."what exactly... did you do?"
-Wrestleman up next.
-What high schooler is this energetic so early in the morning, goddamn.
-My man!
-Of course... the questions linger.
-Ah, name! Got a name! Glion!
-All I'm getting from this spelling is a village in France and a medical school in Switzerland.
-I see neither of the "younger" sisters like their boss very much.
-Golem Goriki...
-Yeah idk what you expected
-Oh, I know this guy!
-Yukio Naya, he's part of DDT Pro-Wrestling! I see people on Twitter talk about him sometimes.
-"Not bad, dude! You wanna be even stronger though?"
-"Dude, you learned basic math in like... kindergarten."
-Oh really now???
-
-"I think it's time we made the trade back.../"Give the boy his card back, wench."
-T
-Sen... pai?
-Wrasslin'!
-In fairness, we are trespassing.
-Wrestle gal~!
-Chemy?
-Protection racketeering.
-"No alchemy on civvies."
-Holy shit that's a
-That's a dude!
-A whole figure.
-Tag partner...
-Just like you and Rinne.
-Guns
-Renge! It's chemy time!
-I'M THE GUN NOW
-I love how wild and volatile this show's creativity is.
-Goriki.
-Golem Time.
-"Oh my fucking god, he was Kamen Rider this whole time!?"
-"Is that all you got, ya little jabroni?!"

FIRE PRO WRESTLING CARD BOUT - THE CCG 'LOST' TO TIME.
Tumblr media
In preparation for exploring Fire Pro Wrestling Card Bout, it's essential to first have a concise overview of the history of Fire Pro Wrestling.
Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag marked the inception of the renowned Fire Pro Wrestling series, hitting the gaming scene on June 22nd, 1989. Developed by Human Entertainment, this milestone title made its debut exclusively for the PC Engine platform in Japan. As the inaugural entry in the series, Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag holds a significant place in the history of wrestling video games.
It laid the groundwork for the beloved franchise that would go on to captivate wrestling fans and gamers alike for years to come.
After a substantial wait of nearly a decade, North American fans finally got a taste of the Fire Pro Wrestling series on June 11th, 2001. The highly anticipated debut of the franchise in North America took place on the Game Boy Advance console, which conveniently launched on the very same day.
The arrival of Fire Pro Wrestling on the Game Boy Advance was met with excitement from wrestling enthusiasts eager to experience the series' unique gameplay and character roster. This marked a significant moment for the franchise as it expanded its reach to a whole new audience.
Tumblr media
Building on the success of its predecessor, Fire Pro Wrestling 2 was released in the North American market on October 23rd, 2002. This sequel brought even more depth, improved mechanics, and an expanded selection of wrestlers, further solidifying the series' popularity in the region.
With both titles now available in North America, fans were able to fully immerse themselves in the gripping world of Fire Pro Wrestling right on their handheld consoles. The series' reputation for strategic gameplay and addictive wrestling action only continued to grow.
On November 13, 2007, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns made its debut on the PlayStation 2 in North America. This installment brought with it enhanced graphics, refined gameplay mechanics, and an extensive roster of wrestlers, making it a highly anticipated title among wrestling game aficionados.
Fast forward another decade, and on August 28, 2018, Fire Pro Wrestling World made its grand entrance to wrestling enthusiasts in the USA and Canada. This marked a major milestone for the series, as it embraced modern gaming platforms while retaining the classic gameplay that had earned it a devoted fan base.
Tumblr media
Now, let's take a little leap back in time to the year 2001. Fire Pro Wrestling Card Bout has now entered the scene. Unlike its predecessors, this game took on a different form, emerging as a collectible card game (CCG).
Limited to a release exclusively in Japan, Fire Pro Wrestling Card Bout allowed players to engage in strategic battles using trading cards.
Tumblr media
Above is a look at the now defunct website for Fire Pro Wrestling Card Bout.
Fire Pro Wrestling Card Bout (FPW: CB) transports the action from the screen to the tabletop arena. Given the scarcity of information on FPW: CB, it's important to note that this article cannot encompass all facets of the CCG and might contain inaccuracies.
The product lineup consisted of two options: a Starter Kit and Booster packs. The Booster pack contained 10 random cards and initially retailed at „381 upon launch. The game features a total of 256 cards, distributed as follows:
20 'Wrestler' Cards
35 'Skill/Technique' Cards
35 'Throw' Cards
35 'Strike' Cards
35 'Flying' Cards
21 'Defense' Cards
33 'Auxiliary' Cards
22 'Effect' Cards
20 'Special Move' Cards
Tumblr media
The Starter Kit comprises a Rule Book, 1 Damage Marker, and a total of 64 cards, with 1 wrestler card and a mix of 63 non-wrestler cards, retailing for „1,429. There are 10 starter decks available in total, although they lack distinct markings on the packaging and are distributed randomly. A starter deck provides sufficient cards for a single player, so each player must assemble their own deck from a starter deck and boosters if they wish to customize their decks. While the Starter Kit does not list a player mat, there are images of a player mat being used.
Three promo cards are confirmed, but additional ones might exist. The first promo card was bundled with Fire Pro Wrestling D (Dreamcast) on March 1st, 2001. The second accompanied Fire Pro Wrestling A (Game Boy Advance) on March 21st, 2001, while the third was released on April 1st, 2001, alongside the Fire Pro Wrestling CB Official Playing Manual.
Tumblr media
The official playing manual, listed at „1,760, is a comprehensive gameplay guide encompassing everything you need to know about playing the collectable card game. The manual covers a range of topics, including detailed explanations of game rules and mechanics, instructions for gameplay, introductions and comprehensive overviews of the available cards with their associated data, and suggested decks for optimal performance. The following three chapters are within the 96-page book:
Chapter 1: Fundamental Concepts and Essential Card Game Specifications.
Chapter 2: Strategy Guide for Card Bouts and Deck Construction to Outmatch Opponents.
Chapter 3: Comprehensive Card Catalog (Wrestler Cards & Sample Deck Strategies, Offensive and Defensive Moves, Supportive Elements, and Special Effect Cards).
As of this writing there are no videos or examples of gameplay and the Official Playing Manual and Rule Booklet that accompanied the Starter Kit has not surfaced in a digital form/PDF online.

Above is a preview of a guide being worked on currently. With no release date set it is currently unknown when it will be completed.

Tampa, FL: At the home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Amalie Arena, the second annual Creator Clash took place in front of another thunderous crowd in Tampa, Fl. The Creator Clash 2 proved to be another successful event, and much like all sequels, the second edition was bigger and louder than the first, with a deafening audience at full attention all night.
In the main event, for the second year in a row, Ian “iDubbbz” Washburn, one of the creators of the Creator Clash, headlined the charity boxing event. For the second show, he took on the YouTube star of Wassabi Productions, Alex Wassabi, in a four-round cruiserweight match. Both participants made their professional boxing debut and put on a stellar show for the lively crowd in attendance.
In the first round, it seemed like Wassabi was on his way to an early stoppage using his speed to land clean and punishing blows on Washburn. As the rounds went on, iDubbbz worked between Wassabi’s combinations landing more and more, pushing the Montana native back.
As fatigue set in, both men looked eager to land the punch to end the fight. After four rounds, the match went to the scorecards. The judges scored the fight a majority decision with two scores for Wassabi at 39-37 and one draw at 38-38. With the victory, Wassabi is now 1-0 as a professional.
In the co-main event, former WWE star John Hennigan, formerly known as John Morrison, went to battle with Epic Meal Time’s Harley Morenstein. The hype and anticipation for the match lived up to the billing, with each having an epic entrance. Hennigan entered with wrestling Hall-of-Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan while Morenstein came through the crowd causing an explosion in Amalie Arena.
Hennigan, one of the more well-known athletes on the card, was trained by MMA veteran Josh Barnett. Morenstein put himself in the best shape of his life in preparation for the match, losing up to 30 pounds. But the pro-wrestling star was able to roll through his foe, dropping him in all three rounds before the fight was finally stopped. Hennigan had his hands raised in victory with a third-round stoppage.
The self-proclaimed “Soft Boi,” Ethan “CrankGamePlays” Nestor, proved to be anything but soft at the Creator Clash 2. The video game commentator took on Pokemon card master and former ninja warrior contestant Lee “Leonhart” Steinfeld.
After two back-and-forth rounds with both having their moments, Nestor landed a series of punches with Steinfeld on the ropes. The flurry put Steinfeld on the floor, and while he did get up before the referee’s 10-count, the fight was immediately stopped. Nestor walked away with the third-round TKO.
Taking on the most significant challenge of her life thus far, professional cyclist and YouTube host of the show “Challenge Accepted,” Michelle Khare, stepped in the ring with Canadian chess player Andrea Botez.
The fight was competitive, with neither Botez nor Khare able to land something that caused severe damage. Of all the fights on the card, Botez and Khare resembled pro fighters as their training paid off. All three judges scored the fight for Khare with the same score of 49-46.
In the first of two Heavyweight bouts, Arin “Egoraptor” Hanson of the YouTube series GameGrumps battled with YouTuber and software engineer Jarvis Johnson. Hanson and Johnson ran at each other like bulls in the first round, trading hard punches.
Both men stunned each other at times. Hanson, who fought in the first Creator Clash, used his experience to overwhelm Johnson in the second, unleashing a salvo of punches with the Engineer in the corner.
Johnson had taken enough damage and waved himself out of the fight giving Hanson a second-round TKO.
Haley “Yodeling Haley” Sharpe entered the ring with a chip on her shoulder, looking to get a win after losing at the first Creator Clash to Justa Minx. Sharpe exacted vengeance against one of the crowd favorites of the event, Marisha Ray, in a super lightweight bout. The response to Ray was roaring throughout the match as she had the majority of the crowd on her side.
The crowd energized Sharpe, who cut through the defense of Ray, landing almost at will. Improving her performance from last year in every facet, Sharpe dominated every round, hitting Ray with power jabs and right hands. All three judges scored the match unanimously for the stage performing Tik-Tok star.
After the fight, Sharpe expressed that she was looking forward to enjoying herself.
“I want Krispy-Kreme,” Sharpe said in the post-fight interview.
Former professional Fortnite battle royal player, Myth, faced off against Muscle Party channel creator Brett “Hundar” Hundley in a cruiserweight bout. Many were looking forward to this match, with it having the potential of being the most action-packed of the night. The 23-year-old Twitch streamer with 7.4 million followers made quick work of the in-shape Hundar landing a well-timed right hand that sent his opponent to the canvas.
Hundar showed enough grit to make it to the end of the round. In the corner, the referee assessed that enough damage was done to Hundar, who still seemed to be on unsteady legs. The referee stopped the fight at the end of the first, awarding Myth with the first-round TKO.
In the second female fight of the night, Australian video game writer and journalist Alanah Pearce was tested against YouTuber and film composer Mika Midgett aka RIPMika. The bout was one of the more strategic of the event, with both choosing to take their time and measure their attacks.
Pearce was able to land at a more consistent rate with straight right hands and jabs at Midgett. At times Midgett was relegated to throwing one punch at a time. However, in the fifth and final round, the two battled to the delight of those in attendance.
In the three judges' eyes, this was one of the closest matches of the night, with Pearce winning a split decision. Two judges scored the fight for Pearce with scores of 48-47, and one judge gave Midgett the win with a 48-47 score.
Comedian and YouTube Vlogger Chris “Raygun” Maldonado faced off against Fitness YouTuber William Haynes. Using his height and reach advantages, Haynes kept “Raygun” at a distance. At the end of the first round, a right hand landed that sent Maldonado down for a knockdown.
Haynes would continue his onslaught, turning up the heat in the second round. In an exchange, Haynes landed a right hand and then proceeded to follow up with a barrage of punches. The referred stepped in, stopping the match at the 1:50 mark of the second. Haynes was composed for his first time stepping in the ring, keeping his cool at every point of the bout.
One of the most anticipated matches of the night was between Nathan “Dad” Barnett and AB “Starkilla” Ayad of the H3 Podcast. Both creators were part of the first Creator Clash in 2022, receiving arguably the most deafening reactions of the entire event. Amalie Arena exploded when the two made their way down the ring, with Dad running down and jumping over the ropes.
Dad went after Ayad with a vengeance, landing left hands and right hooks one after the other. Ayad responded with combinations as the two threw hard power punches. Adding to his repertoire, Dad landed a series of body shots that ultimately led to his victory. Ayad was unable to return from the corner for the second round forcing the referee put a halt to the match. Dad would take home the TKO at the end of the first.
Afterward, Dad would announce plans to join the world of sports entertainment, issuing a challenge and trash-talking WWE superstar Seth Rollins.
In the super flyweight division, League of Legends Twitch streamer Jaelaray took on voice-over artist Abelina Sabrina. In one of the standout entrances of the night, Sabrina came out to a mariachi band to a loud ovation. Jaelaray immediately went to work, landing a series of right hands on Sabrina putting the Los Angeles YouTuber on her heels.
The straight right hand landed at will throughout the fight. Sabrina displayed heart, never backing down, and battled back in each round. The judges awarded Jaelaray the unanimous decision victory with scores of 50-45 twice and 49-46.
In the post-fight interview, Jaelaray put out a challenge to Twitch streamer Yungelderberry in hopes of a future match on the next Creator Clash.
Starting off the night's festivities was English YouTuber and Twitch streamer Jack Manifold facing off against skateboarding Tik-Toker and Los Angeles native Dakota Olave. The two battled in a super featherweight bout that set the tone for the rest of the card. The two creators wasted no time going after one another, exchanging blows from the start.
Manifold applied the pressure in each round, but Olave battled back any time his English opponent landed. In the third round, Manifold began bleeding from his nose, invigorating Olave to fight back harder. Both men battled to the end of the bell to a standing ovation from the crowd. After five rounds, the judges awarded Manifold the unanimous decision with scores of 49-46 and 50-45 twice.
