Todoroki Touya is seated on a wide leather sofa in his two-bedroom apartment, the TV on in the background, the lights of it shining off the man’s snow white hair and the silver cuffs that line his ears. His skin is crisscrossed in little scars and burns, marks he’s gained over his years as a Pro Hero, and his turquoise eyes are lidded as he stares up at the younger man perched on his lap.
Ash blonde spikes surround Bakugou Katsuki’s head in an explosion of chaos, and his scarlet eyes are burning in their intensity as he pants against his boyfriend’s lips. He moans softly as he grinds down against Touya, their covered cocks rubbing together through the cotton of their pajama pants.
“Do you know what today is?” Katsuki asks as he starts nipping along the older man’s jaw.
Touya hums. “Tuesday?”
“No, you idiot,” Katsuki says, rolling his eyes, not that the other can see. “Two years ago today, your dumb ass asked me to be your boyfriend.”
“Oh, fuck,” Touya says, and then groans as Katsuki rolls his hips down. “I didn’t realize it’d been that long.”
“I wanna celebrate,” Katsuki says, and then sucks lightly on his pulse point.
“Ha-ah, yes,” Touya says, smirking as he slides his hands from the man’s hips to his ass, grabbing the plump globes. “You want me to eat you out, hmm?”
“I wanna go on a date,” Katsuki says, and Touya’s playful mood drops.
“You know we can’t do that, we can’t be seen together,” Touya says, and Katsuki sighs, continuing to kiss along his boyfriend’s neck so he can hide the hurt expression on his face.
“I know we agreed to do this fucking secret shit, but this fucking sucks,” Katsuki says.
Touya groans in annoyance and pulls back, bringing his hands up to Katsuki’s face, forcing the younger man to meet his gaze. “I don’t like it either, but Enji is obsessed with carrying on the Todoroki legacy. He would never accept me being with another man.”
“But he’s got other kids,” Katsuki says, trying not to sound like a petulant child—he’s twenty, for fucks’ sake. “Natsuo just got engaged to that Doctor Hana chick, Fuyumi and Tensei are expecting their first kid, and Shouto is dating that Illus-o-Bitch now. Those assholes can make a fuckton of shitty heirs.”
“Katsuki, stop,” Touya says firmly. “I couldn’t handle my dad being disappointed in me, okay? I’ve spent my entire fucking life trying to make him proud.”
“What’s there to not be fucking proud of, hah?” Katsuki says, scowling. “You’ve been in the top five for the past five fucking years, you came in first last year, you’re a fucking badass, Touya! Everyone knows that the villains are fucked when Dabi rolls onto the scene.
“Enough,” Touya says, his annoyance high enough to make his erection droop. “I really don’t want to fight about this again, okay?”
Katsuki sighs, but nods, leaning in to press their lips together. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Touya says, humming into the kiss.

As they do every time they happen to have a day off together, the unofficial ‘Baku-Squad,’ as Mina and Denki had drunkenly declared them after sneaking whiskey into the dorms in their second year at UA, all head out to the Kiyashi Ward Mall.
Jirou Kyouka is leading the group; short and thin, with angular purple hair and black eyes. She has one arm looped around the elbow of her much taller girlfriend, Yaoyorozu Momo, whose curvaceous form towers over Kyouka’s. Momo’s long black hair is up in a high ponytail, black eyes warm and kind. They’ve been together since the end of their second year at UA.
Kaminari Denki is behind them, golden blonde hair styled perfectly to display the black lightning bolt in his bangs, falling intentionally across his forehead, above his golden eyes. His boyfriend of just over a year, Shinsou Hitoshi, is at his side; lavender eyes lined in heavy bags, violet hair as disheveled as always.
Kirishima Eijirou is taller than all the rest of them, his red hair no longer spiked the way he wore it back in their UA days. It’s longer now, pulled back in a loose bun, the strands pulled away from his crimson eyes. His massive hand engulfs his girlfriend’s pink one, her copper eyes bright against her black sclera, ivory horns poking up from her pink curls. They’ve been dating since middle school, which shocked everyone in Class A back in high school, because they’d managed to hide that fact until graduation day.
Katsuki has to fight back the urge to scowl as he trails behind them all, seventh-wheeling with only Sero Hanta at his side. The tall, slender man is single, black eyes not showing even a hint of jealousy and Katsuki feels himself growing more annoyed at that fact.
“I fucking hate this shit,” Katsuki grumbles out—because if he has to be miserable, he might as well bitch to the only one of his friends who figured out his relationship.
Hanta is eerily perceptive, and the first time he’d seen Katsuki and Touya in the same room, he had immediately figured it out. He’d waited until he and Katsuki were alone though, having also picked up on the obvious factor of them keeping it a secret. It’s something he’s been thankful for, because every once in a while it just feels like too much and he hates it because he fucking loves Touya, and he wants to tell everyone.
“Have you tried talking to him about it again?” Hanta questions, and Katsuki groans, dropping his head back.
“So many fucking times,” Katsuki says, and then scowls, eyes darting up to their friends before looking to Hanta. “We just had our two year anniversary, and do you know what we did?”
“What?” Hanta asks, cocking a brow.
“We made out on the fucking couch and then had sex before passing out in bed, and then I woke up alone because he had to go back to his room just in case someone came over for a surprise visit,” Katsuki says seethingly, his voice radiating with anger and hurt.
Hanta hisses sympathetically at that. “Shit, man.”
“And I fucking get it, okay?” Katsuki says, barely refraining from yelling. “At first it was fine, it was even kinda fun, but it’s been two years and I don’t know how much more I can fucking take. I hate feeling like I’m a fucking mistress, like I’m a dirty fucking secret.”
Hanta frowns as he looks over his dejected expression. “If it’s making you this miserable, then maybe it’s time for you to lay it all out for him. Let him know that if he wants to continue the relationship, things need to come out of the shadows. And if he isn’t ready for that, maybe it’s better for you to go your separate ways.”
Katsuki gives him a bewildered look. “You want me to give him a fuckin’ ultimatum?”
“You don’t have to do it,” Hanta says, and then sighs, running a hand through his shaggy black mullet. “But you shouldn’t be stuck feeling like this, man. You deserve to be happy.”
Katsuki scoffs and looks up at their friends just as Momo swoops down to kiss her girlfriend’s cheek. Katsuki swallows thickly and lets out a long sigh and then drags a hand down his face as he mutters out a low, “Fuck.”

Touya has on his hero costume—his black pants, black sleeveless trench coat, the tail of it lined in blue flames, and a pale blue under-suit covers him from ankle to neck to wrist. The bodysuit is the most vital piece to his costume, as it regulates his body temperature, something he literally couldn’t survive without, as his own blue flames can easily grow hot enough to burn his own skin, something he’d unfortunately learned as a child.
Meeting with fans is always something Touya has enjoyed doing; he’s a charismatic guy, and the chance to chat up various people is something he rarely turns down. One of his dad’s ex-sidekick-recently-turned-Pros is with him today.
Burnin rolls her copper eyes, mane of green flames crackling with her annoyance as she plants her hands on her hips. Touya just snickers at her though, having always considered the woman to be a sort of older sister.
She sees the mirth in his eyes and huffs out a small laugh, knowing he’s drawing out this particular fan session just to be a little shit.
“It’s Endeavor!”
“Who’s he with!?”
“Is that the Rabbit Hero!?”
Touya curiously looks over, grinning when he sees his father walking in his direction with none other than Mirko, whose white bunny ears stick up from her same colored hair, contrasting with her dark almond skin. She catches Touya’s gaze and a smirk twists at her lips, red eyes amused.
“So nice of you to hop your bunny ass on over here,” Touya drawls as he makes his way over to them.
“Someone has to check on the riffraff,” Mirko teases. “Good thing I did too, looks like someone needs to remind you that heroics isn’t about how nice your ass looks on the cover of a magazine.”
“Sounds like someone’s jealous,” Touya says, smirking widely.
The snarky little reunion is ruined as soon as Enji opens his mouth. “Ah, is this young love?”
Touya and Mirko both grimace heavily, but fortunately Enji’s earpiece goes off, the call from his secretary loud enough for them all to hear the woman shrieking about how his newest UA intern locked themselves in the training room. Enji’s nostrils flare and he looks to Burnin, who rolls her eyes, but nods.
“Apologies,” Enji says to Mirko, and then jets himself up into the air, taking off toward his agency.
“Don’t stay out past curfew,” Burnin says, and Touya flips her off, which only has her cackling as she takes off after her ex-boss.
“Oof,” Mirko says, looking to Touya and raising a brow. “You still haven’t said anything to the old man?”
Touya gives her a flat look. “I can’t.”
“Right,” Mirko says, rolling her eyes. “I forgot that not being a little bitch is hard for you.”
“Shut the fuck up,” Touya snaps, forcing back the desire to burst into flames as his anger boils up. “I fucking hate having to hide this shit. I don’t want it to be a fucking secret, but if he found out, it would ruin everything I’ve been working for.”
The look Mirko gives him is so full of apathetic pity that it makes him want to punch her in the face. She can clearly sense that, and her ears twitch as she scoffs, crossing her arms, cocking her head at him.
“I’m only gonna say this once, and only because you’re my friend and I give a fuck about you,” Mirko starts, and Touya narrows his eyes. “You need to reevaluate your priorities.”
“Fuck off,” Touya says, turning his back to her.

The sound of the apartment door closing has Katsuki sighing from his spot in the kitchen. He looks down at the sink, eyes lidding as he stares at the last of the dirty dishes as he languidly rinses it off. He’d told himself that he was going to wait until after dinner, until Natsuo left and he and Touya were alone.
“Fuck,” he whispers as he places the bowl on the drying rack.
He tugs up the sink plug and dries his hands off slowly before turning around and looking out through the sliding kitchen door. He swallows thickly, hating the way his throat feels tight and his chest aches, but he needs to do this. He can’t stop thinking about Hanta’s words, and as much as he hates the idea of an ultimatum, he doesn’t see much of a choice.
With a heavy sigh, and a hope that he’s wrong about how this is going to play out, he steps through the kitchen doorway, looking around the open living room, at the end of which sit three doors—the bathroom in the center, Katsuki’s bedroom on the left, and Touya’s bedroom on the right.
Touya is seated on the couch, the TV is off, but he’s scrolling through social media on his phone. When he hears Katsuki’s light footsteps approaching, he puts his phone down and smiles at him as the blonde sits next to him, reaching out to wrap his arm around Katsuki’s trim waist.
“What do you wanna watch?” Touya asks as he leans forward, using his free hand to grab the remote from the coffee table.
“Touya,” Katsuki says, his tone gathering all of his boyfriend’s attention. “My birthday is next month, and I want to go out and have dinner with you.”
“Katsu,” Touya says with a sigh, leaning back as he frowns. “I hate this as much as you do, but we can’t.”
Katsuki’s eyes flick up as he tries to resist the desire to cry; unable to meet Touya’s gaze as he puts his own heart on the line. “I love you, but I can’t keep doing this.”
“What?” Touya says, eyes wide.
“This fucking secret dating thing,” Katsuki clarifies, forcing himself to look at the white-haired man. “Either we go public with this… or I’m—fuck—I’m done.”
He is trying so hard not to cry as he watches Touya’s face contort in various emotions, flickering from shock to anger to hurt to incredulity to a messed up conglomeration of them all.
“That’s not fair,” Touya finally says. “How am I supposed to choose?”
Katsuki barks out a harsh laugh at that and licks his lips as he nods once. “Yeah. That’s… kinda what I expected.”
“What the fuck do you want me to say?” Touya asks, his chest aching as his anxiety squirms to the surface of his brain.
“I want you to say that I mean more than your childhood fantasy,” Katsuki says, reaching behind himself to grab Touya’s hand, pulling it from his waist before standing up. “I’m tired of feeling like you’re ashamed of me, tired of feeling like I’m not important enough. I get that you want to be daddy’s number one, but I’m not gonna hide in a fucking closet so you can chase Endeavor’s shadow.”
Touya’s jaw drops, and he is utterly frozen as he watches Katsuki make his way over to the bedroom on the left. Katsuki wipes at his eyes as soon as he’s out of sight and goes to his closet, opening it up and pulling out his already packed suitcase. He had tried to hold onto hope for this day going differently, but he knows that Touya is a stubborn bastard who won’t back down for anything.
He should’ve known better than to think he could ever take the number one spot in Touya’s life. It’s probably selfish for him to want to be more important than anything else, but he can’t help the way he’s fantasized about having a life with Touya—getting married, adopting a child, moving into a nice house near a good school.
He steps out of his bedroom and his eyes land on his ex-boyfriend, who hasn’t moved a muscle to even attempt to stop him from leaving, and his heart plummets further. He makes his way over to the front door and swaps out his slippers for his shoes, and then pulls out his keys and slowly slides off the one for the apartment.
He sets the little golden key down on the small entryway table, opens the door, and walks out, shutting it behind himself with a soft click.
Touya stares blankly at the door, too stunned to move as he mentally replays the visual of the love of his life leaving him. He doesn’t even realize that tears have fallen down his face, too lost in the knowledge that he fucked everything up.
—
Two unconscious men are sprawled out on either side of hero Shouto, who’s navy blue suit further offsets his mismatched appearance; his hair red and white, split down the middle, with a gray eye on the right and a turquoise on the left. He’s shockingly limited on scars for a pro hero, sporting no severe injuries, though his dual Quirks certainly help with that.
He’s got a furious glower on his face, though it’s not aimed at the villains, but rather at his eldest brother, who is wiping his bloody knuckles off on his pants. The blood is from one of the villains, who he had undoubtedly given a concussion when he’d knocked the man out before lurching to kick the gut of the other, following up with a karate chop to the carotid.
“You need to stop using excessive force,” Shouto says, usually flat tone laced in annoyance.
“Shut the fuck up,” Touya says, sneering harshly at him.
“I don’t know what caused your awful mood lately, but it’s only gotten worse over the past couple of weeks, and I’m not going to put up with it much longer,” Shouto says, crouching down to place cuffs on the villain’s wrists.
“Mind your own goddamn business,” Touya bites out.
Shouto lets out an annoyed grunt. “If I put in a refusal to work with you, you’ll be on your own, Dabi. Everyone else has already filed complaints against you.”
“Good,” Touya says, scowling angrily. “I’m fucking sick of everyone telling me what an asshole I am, as if I didn’t already fucking know that I’m a piece of shit.”
Shouto gives him another flat look. “I’m taking the villains in. You need to submit your paperwork by the end of the day.”
“Fuck off,” Touya says. “I’ve been doing this a hell of a lot longer than you.”
Shouto rolls his eyes at that, reaching down to grip the cuffs of the villains, using them to hold onto the men as he raises them up on a pillar of ice, and then starts sliding along it toward the police station. Touya glares after him for a moment before growling under his breath and turning away to march off in the opposite direction, looking for someone else to pummel.
Misery and self-hatred is what’s been fueling him for the past two weeks since Katsuki dumped him. He’s laid on the bed in Katsuki’s room every night, even though he can hardly fucking sleep because his brain is so consumed repeating his mistakes, reminding him what a bastard he is.
He’s tried to apologize to Katsuki, but the man has blocked him on every social media platform, on his cellphone, and he immediately blocked the fake account Touya made to try to message him online. He’d even attempted to send messages via the ‘Baku-Squad,’ but they refused to answer him.
When he’d seen Chargebolt and Red Riot out on patrol a few days ago, he had rushed to them and casually asked where Katsuki was, but it was clear in the anger on their faces that the man had told them about what happened. Touya has never seen Red Riot truly angry before, and he had to admit that the man looked positively menacing when he had warned Touya to stay away.
Touya is so lost in his own head that he doesn’t hear the person stepping up behind him; completely misses the sounds of their skipping.
As far as he’s concerned, he’s just suddenly in an empty black void; numb to the feeling of his body hitting the ground, of the hands that grab his wrists to drag him into an alleyway.
He looks around the darkness, and jumps backwards in his headspace when a woman pops up in front of him with a cheery, “Hello!”
She’s fairly short, with lightly tanned warm ivory skin. Her mint green hair is straight, draping just past her shoulders, the top of her head covered by a bright orange bandana. Her dark teal eyes are wide and a bright grin is plastered on her face as she waves one of her orange-gloved hands at him.
Her torso is covered with a black sleeveless turtleneck and teal and orange puffy shorts go from her waist to her upper thighs. A black corset lines her waist, which sports little yellow smiley faces all the way around. Black boots are on her feet, the only normal looking part of her entire ensemble.
“Who the fuck are you?” Touya spits out.
The woman giggles loudly, hands flying to her midsection as she laughs. The longer it goes on, the more annoyed Touya becomes, until his nostrils are flaring and he moves into a fighting position—which she notices and snickers at.
“I’m Ms. Joke!” She finally declares, and the name tugs faintly on Touya’s memories, but he can’t quite connect the dots. “My Quirk is called Fool, and it allows me to see a person’s regrets.”
Touya’s entire body goes still and he narrows his eyes at her. “Are you blackmailing me, bitch?”
“Of course not!” She says, waving one hand nonchalantly. “But I am gonna make you live through variations of your biggest regret for the next 24 hours. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine when you wake up—maybe even more clearheaded.”
She giggles again, and her body slowly fades, until only her head remains, bobbing tauntingly in the air. “It’s April Fools’ Day, and you are the fool.”
—
“Ugh, I’m hungry,” Denki whines as he walks down the road, pouting dramatically as he clutches his stomach. “My tumbly is all rumbly.”
Mina snorts from his side, both of them decked out in their hero costumes. “We can stop by that takoyaki stand, it’s at the end of this street.”
“Shit, yes,” Denki says, his golden eyes brightening up. “We should get extra…”
He trails off when his eyes land on a set of legs poking out from behind a dumpster down the nearest alleyway. He sucks in a sharp breath and hurries over, Mina hot on his heels.
It’s not until they round the dark green dumpster that they realize it’s Touya.
“Fuck,” Mina says, dropping down as she checks for a pulse, sighing in relief when she feels a strong one, though his chest is moving fairly shallowly.
“This can’t be good,” Denki says as he pulls his phone from his pocket. “I’m gonna call it in.”
Mina nods, looking down at Touya’s unconscious face for a long moment as she contemplates her options, though she knows what she has to do. No matter how badly the unconscious Pro Hero hurt her friend, she knows that Katsuki needs to know what’s going on.
—
Touya wakes up feeling warm and content and he blinks his eyes open, finding Katsuki in his arms, the man’s sleeping face tilted up toward him in his slumber. A soft smile pulls his lips and he leans in to place a soft kiss to his cheek before carefully maneuvering his arm out from under him.
He slides out of bed, carefully moving the orange blanket and smoothing out the black pillowcase, knowing he needs to ensure it doesn’t look like he was there. He can’t risk anyone coming in and catching them like this.
He silently makes his way out of the room, going to the next door over and walking into the bathroom. He turns on the shower in the corner and while he waits for the water to heat up, he brushes his teeth. When he’s done with that, he pulls off his sleep pants and boxers and chucks them into the hamper before stepping into the shower, sighing contentedly at the hot spray.
The door opens a moment later and he opens his eyes, locking gazes with Katsuki as the man starts to brush his own teeth, unashamedly checking Touya out. The older man wants to be turned on by it, but all it does is send a pang of anxiety down his spine, and he frowns.
“You know, we could save water by showering together,” Katsuki says teasingly and Touya blinks, hit by a sudden wave of déjà vu.
He shakes it off though, and forces a smirk to his face. “No can do, Doll. Natsuo is coming over for lunch, and you know he likes to get here early.”
Katsuki’s shoulders slump slightly and he sighs—and then suddenly, it’s like the day speeds up, everything playing at triple speed as he gets dressed, pouts as Katsuki scolds him for adding too much water to the rice cooker, and then he’s opening the door for Natsuo, sitting at the table and eating, laughing when Natsuo cracks a joke about how Touya needs to buckle down on finding a girlfriend before dad pimps him out for his genes.
It doesn’t calm down until Natsuo leaves and Touya half collapses on the sofa, feeling like he’s just run a marathon. He groans, rubbing a hand over his face before pulling out his cellphone and pulling up the Hero News Network to see what’s been going on.
He hears Katsuki’s light footsteps and puts his phone down so he can look up at his boyfriend, giving him a smile as he sits next to him. He immediately reaches out to wrap an arm around his waist as he bends forward to grab the television remote.
“What do you wanna watch?” He asks.
“Touya,” Katsuki says; his tone sending dread down to Touya’s toes as he turns to look at him. “My birthday is next month, and I want to go out and have dinner with you.”
A horrible feeling builds up in Touya’s guts, mixing with the déjà vu. “You know that we can’t do that.”
“I can’t keep doing this,” Katsuki says, averting his gaze. “This whole… secret dating thing. Either we go public with this… or I’m—shit—I’m done.”
“That’s not fair,” Touya chokes out.
“And it’s not fair that I have to feel like you’re ashamed of me,” Katsuki says, turning back to him, red eyes wet.
“What do you want me to do?” Touya asks, his chest tightening painfully.
“I want you to choose me,” Katsuki says, his breath hitching as he stands up. “But I should’ve known that you wouldn’t.”
“Wait,” Touya says, reaching out for him, but the blonde doesn’t look back.
He is frozen in his spot as he watches the love of his life walk into his bedroom, walking back out far too quickly, wheeling a black suitcase behind him as he goes to the front door. He pulls his keys from his pocket and slides the one to the apartment off, setting it on the entryway table before opening the door and leaving.
—
Touya blinks his eyes open, gasping lightly when he finds Katsuki in his arms, the man’s sleeping face tilted up toward him in his slumber. He lets out a relieved breath and leans in to place a quick kiss to the blonde’s cheek before carefully maneuvering his arm out from under him.
He slides out of bed, fixing up the blanket and pillow before quietly making his way out of the room, going into the bathroom. He turns on the shower in the corner and while he waits for the water to heat up, he brushes his teeth. When he’s done with that, he places his toothbrush back into the holder and pulls off his sleep pants and boxers and chucks them into the hamper before stepping into the shower, sighing at the hot spray.
The door opens a moment later and he opens his eyes, watching as Katsuki steps up to the sink and starts to brush his own teeth, unashamedly checking Touya out.
“You know, we could save water by showering together,” Katsuki says teasingly, and Touya’s entire body goes rigid.
—
Katsuki slows down outside the hospital, panting lightly, his chest tight both from the exertion of having run all the way from his house and the panic coursing through his body. He gulps down a lungful of air and forces his breathing to calm down before he steps up to the automatic doors.
He goes straight to the nurse’s desk, tapping his fingers impatiently on the counter. “Where’s Todoroki Touya?”
The woman gives him a flat look. “You need to sign in.”
“Seriously?” Katsuki says, cocking a brow.
“Everyone has to sign in before going to the Quirk Ward, Pro Hero or not,” she says, and Katsuki scrunches his nose up, but he takes the clipboard from her when she holds it out and messily scrawls his name down. “Go through the doors to your left and follow the signs to get to the Q-Wing. He’s on the second floor, in room 216.”
“Right,” Katsuki says, turning to walk off quickly.
“Visiting hours are nearly up,” she calls after him, but he just waves a dismissive hand over his shoulder.
He moves as quickly as he can, following the appropriate signs and doing his best not to break out in a run. He bypasses the elevator in favor of taking the stairs, bolting up the two flights and shoving the door open, nearly smacking into Utsushimi Camie, who squeaks in surprise.
“Oh, damn, babes, you scared me,” the tall, shapely woman says, flicking a strand of her long blonde hair over her shoulder before planting her hand on her hip.
“The fuck’re you doing here?” Katsuki snaps out, crossing his arms and putting on his best annoyed glare.
“Came with Shou,” she says, her thick lips pulling into a frown as she looks at him, deceptively innocent brown eyes seeing straight past his illusion of calm. She steps closer to him and lowers her voice. “Here’s the tea—they think he got hit by Ms. Joke’s Quirk. She’s knocked out, like, eight people today.
“The chick who knocked out twelve people last year in Kyushu?” Katsuki asks, furrowing his brows, eyes darting over her shoulder to ensure they’re still alone.
“It’s the only day she does it, according to Tsukauchi,” Camie says, nodding sagely. “He said it’s like, a Groundhog Day thing, I guess? It lasts 24 hours, and they’re stuck in a loop where they relive the worst regret of their life. Supes rough, ya know? Apparently it gets harsher and harsher each time until the 24 hours are up.”
Katsuki nods, his brows knitting together. “What happens when he wakes up? S’ he gonna be okay?”
Camie raises one brow, a small twitch at the corner of her mouth. “Ya know, if ya don’t tone it down, I ain’t gonna be the only one to unravel your secret, babes.”
“Fuck off,” Katsuki snaps, growling lowly. “It’s over anyway. Doesn’t fucking matter.”
Surprise flashes across her face, and she clearly wants to ask for more information, but she holds herself back. “He’s gonna be fine. Everyone else was okay, just had yucky nightmares for a while.”
Katsuki nods, feeling his shoulders relax slightly, though all the tension in his body immediately comes back when a familiar voice calls out, “Camie, are you ready to go?”
Katsuki looks up, meeting dual-toned eyes, and Shouto tilts his head curiously as he walks over. “Bakugou? What are you doing here?”
“Really, Shou?” Camie says, giggling as she kisses his cheek. “You can be so silly sometimes. Of course he would come to see if his friend and roommate is okay.”
“Oh,” Shouto says, easily accepting that while Katsuki does his best to mask the way the words lance through his fucking heart. “If you would like to go in, that’s fine, but visiting hours end in eight minutes. Seven now, I suppose.”
—
“No!” Touya shouts.
His arms are firmly wrapped around Katsuki’s middle to stop him from standing and getting off the sofa, sobbing as his fractured heart breaks impossibly further. He doesn’t know how many times he’s replayed through the moment Katsuki breaks up with him. Each time varies a little, shifting in the tone, the expressions, and every time it hurts more than the last.
He looks up at the blonde, meeting his red-eyed gaze. Katsuki’s gorgeous eyes are full of tears, but he still shoves him off harshly, quickly scrambling away from the couch. Touya chokes on another plead and Katsuki wipes at his eyes harshly.
“I can’t fucking do this anymore,” Katsuki says, shaking his head as he licks his lips. “You act like I mean nothing to you.”
“You mean everything to me,” Touya says, reaching out for him again.
Katsuki steps away from him, his shoulders hunching in. “I told you so many fucking times that I didn’t want to hide anymore.”
“We can go on dates,” Touya blurts out, but the blonde simply shakes his head again.
“It’s too late,” Katsuki says, turning to walk for the door, skipping the usual trip to grab his suitcase this time.
Touya jumps to his feet and rounds the couch to follow after, reaching out as Katsuki opens the door to step into the hallway. He turns to look at Touya again, and then a massive blur slams into him—a man who looks to be made up of a pile of gray stones. He knocks Katsuki to the ground, but he doesn’t stop, raising his heavy foot carelessly and stepping down.
Time slows down for a moment as the stony foot crushes Katsuki’s skull, and then speeds back up as the heavy feet continue racing down the hall.
Touya’s legs wobble as he steps closer, his entire body numb with shocked horror, his knees finally giving out when he reaches the doorframe. He can’t even properly process the gore in front of him, but his stomach lurches and he falls forward, his hands landing in sticky crimson as he vomits.
—
The soft sound of the hospital room door opening up has Katsuki looking over, finding one of the nurses. He already knows what she’s going to say, and he slowly stands up.
“I gave you an extra five minutes,” the nurse says, giving him a small smile. “I know it was hard getting some one-on-one time when his whole family was in here.”
“Thanks,” Katsuki says quietly, stepping over to the door. He pauses in the doorway to look back at Touya; the only part of the man that’s moving is his chest, which isn’t nearly as comforting as the soft, steady beating of the monitor clipped to his finger.
“Do you have some concerns?” The nurse asks.
“Can…” Katsuki trails off, turning to look at her. “Can I… stay? Just to make sure nothing bad happens?”
The woman blinks once, but she looks over his face, at his somber expression, the emotion he’s tried so carefully to conceal for years. She sighs through her nose and steps into the room, quietly shutting the door behind herself.
“How long?” She asks softly.
“It’s not…” Katsuki starts, but then raises a hand to rub the back of his neck. “It’s uh, it’s over… two years of being secret just… I couldn’t keep doing it.”
They fall into silence, Katsuki looking back at Touya while the nurse’s eyes trace over his features. She frowns, looking over to the unconscious man as she considers her words.
“My daughter is eight years old,” she says, and Katsuki grunts to show he’s listening. “I had always wanted children, but… my girlfriend was scared of taking that step because she knew her family wouldn’t approve.”
That gathers the hero’s full attention, though the nurse continues looking at Touya. “I think we were together… oh, maybe two and a half years before we decided to move in together. We asked our families to help us move in, though my family already knew, Gods know I could never keep a secret from my mother.”
Katsuki huffs a soft laugh. “Yeah.”
“But when her parents showed up and realized the apartment only had one bedroom, it became a war zone,” the woman says, though she chuckles shortly.
“Right,” Katsuki says, looking down at his feet.
“We still don’t ever see them,” the nurse says, bringing a hand up to rest on Katsuki’s shoulder. “Her worst nightmare came true by telling her parents, but twelve years later, we’re happier than ever. She still misses them, of course, but she realized that she had to choose between the exhaustion and fear of lying for the rest of her life, or face her parents and be true to herself.”
Katsuki grunts softly, his eyes lidding as he looks to the floor. “He… didn’t choose me.”
The nurse is silent again, pursing her lips before letting out another soft sigh. “I’ll talk to the doctor.”
—
Touya wakes up with a gasp, bolting up from the bed. He looks around and sighs in relief when he sees the darkness through the window, the sky rolling with stormy clouds. He runs his hands through his hair as his gaze falls to the blonde on the bed, who is giving him a bewildered look.
“Fuck, I love you so much,” Touya says, leaning over to kiss Katsuki.
“Love you too, idiot,” Katsuki says with a huff.
“Please don’t leave me,” Touya says, and Katsuki makes a surprised sound in the back of his throat.
Touya leans back, looking down at the blonde, eyes wide as his gaze slides all over his face. Katsuki blinks twice and then his expression slowly morphs into melancholy. Touya shakes his head, leaning in to kiss him again, but Katsuki pushes him to the side and sits up, throwing his legs over the bed, facing away from Touya.
“I can’t keep doing this,” Katsuki says before standing up.
“No no no, please,” Touya says, crawling across the bed.
“It’s too late,” Katsuki says, turning to look at him.
Touya goes up on his knees, reaching out to grasp the blonde’s shoulders. “Please, I will do anything, Katsuki.”
A loud crack sounds from outside, the window behind the blonde shatters, and then something wet splashes across Touya’s face. He winces back in surprise, looking down and going rigid when he sees the branch extending through the window, speared directly through Katsuki’s chest.
—
Katsuki holds Touya’s hand, rubbing his thumb lightly over his skin. The hospital is almost eerily silent this late, and it’s definitely past his usual bedtime, but he just can’t seem to convince himself to go to sleep.
“I remember when we first met,” Katsuki says, his voice soft, though it still seems so loud in the empty air. “I was excited to work with Endeavor’s Agency, the number one hero. I was so pissed when he took Shouto and left me to do my fucking training with this fucking wannabe J-pop star.”
He huffs a small laugh. “You were just as pissed as I was. I remember you told me you didn’t have time to babysit a fucking brat, and I told you that I shouldn’t be stuck with some technicolor knockoff Endeavor.”
He clears his throat, sniffling lightly, his chest tightening. “I fucking hate this—how fucking badly this hurts, how fucking lonely it is. But what sucks the most is that I realized I’ve felt lonely all the goddamn time, even when I was with you. I put everything into loving your stupid ass, and I know you loved me, but it was never enough, and I fucking hated that. I wanted to tell people, to show you off and be shown off, but—fuck.”
Katsuki takes a calming breath, which comes out in a shaky exhale. His eyes trail down to the stark white bedsheet beneath Touya, and he suddenly remembers the time Touya commented that he hated blank white things. He said it was like an unfinished project—blank canvases being left around.
He sighs and leans in, pressing a kiss to the back of Touya’s hand. “Wonder what your biggest regret is. Probably that time Endeavor said he didn’t like the tie you wore to the Hero Awards, hah?”
He laughs bitterly, sniffling again before shifting to lie against the bed, resting his cheek on top of their joined hands, looking up at Touya’s face. Katsuki’s own expression is somber as he trails his eyes around the man, just soaking in how utterly gorgeous he is.
—
Touya wakes up with a small groan, lying flat on his back. He opens his eyes and looks up at the ceiling, wondering how many times he’s going to have to live through this. It has to have been at least thirty replays now, and he’s certainly learned that no matter how broken his heart is, the pain can always get worse.
He reaches out for Katsuki, but his hand only meets empty sheets and he turns to look, blinking in confusion. He’s never woken up alone in the bed before, not during this nightmare, anyway.
He sits up slowly, brows furrowing, feeling a sense of uneasiness churning in his guts at the silence in the apartment. Now that he’s focused on it, the lack of anything aside from his own breathing has him feeling cold.
“Katsuki?” He calls out as he slides out of bed, but there’s no answer.
He makes his way out of the bedroom, looking around the empty living space. He takes a few steps over to peer in the kitchen entryway, but that’s clearly empty as well. He frowns and walks over to his own bedroom, but that’s just as vacant.
He goes to the bathroom, leaving the door opened a crack, and his eyes land on a piece of paper folded neatly on the counter. His name is scrawled across the front in Katsuki’s familiar sharp, elegant handwriting. Touya’s hands tremble, anxiety pricking his skin as he slowly opens it.
Touya,
I love you so fucking much.
But I can’t take this anymore—hiding from the world. I know that if you had to choose between me or your father’s respect, I would lose.
So I’ve decided to take myself out of the equation.
Touya drops the paper, not finishing the rest of the long note. His head snaps up, and he catches the reflection of Katsuki’s water bottle sitting on the corner of the bathtub. He’s frozen for a moment before turning around and taking slow steps across the tile floor.
The first thing he sees as he approaches the deep tub are eight pill bottles and their discarded lids. A couple stray pills are on the white floor of the tub, and another step closer reveals one sock-clad foot, and then a second.
Touya pauses for a moment, his lower lip trembling as he takes another step, his heart lurching up into his throat as he forces himself to look down. A low, distraught moan falls from his lips and he nearly falls forward, barely catching himself on the edge of the tub as he looks down at Katsuki’s body, curled up like he’s sleeping, his form stone still and drained of color.
—
Katsuki yawns, exhaustion hitting him out of nowhere and he sits up, pulling his hand away from Touya’s, deciding that it’s probably time for him to go home and get some sleep. Touya lets out a small whimper and Katsuki’s head jerks up, shocked by the sound. The man hasn’t moved a millimeter or made so much as a sharp inhale since Katsuki arrived.
He looks at the clock, seeing that it’s nearly 1am, and after a quick internal debate, he grabs his phone and sets an alarm for 7am—an hour before visiting hours start. He yawns again and sniffles, his eyes feeling dry, and he carefully climbs up onto the bed, squishing his back against the safety railing.
He places a soft kiss to Touya’s cheek and then lays his head down on the man’s shoulder, wrapping one arm around his middle. He closes his eyes, letting himself soak in the thick, smoky scent that always clings to the man, allowing the familiar comfort to soothe him to sleep.
—
Touya sucks in a sharp breath when he wakes up, his eyes flying open and landing on Katsuki’s sleeping face. His heart aches in his chest and he sits up, shifting under the blankets to straddle the man’s hips.
He lightly slaps his hands over the blonde’s face, startling him awake. Katsuki blinks up at him, but before he can ask what’s going on, Touya dives for his mouth, kissing him hard, forcing all of his emotions into his ministrations, not stopping when tears begin rolling down his cheeks.
When he pulls back, he gasps for air and looks down at Katsuki, whose eyes are wide and face riddled with concern as Touya’s tears drip down onto his collarbones. Touya just looks at him for a long moment, leaning in to give him another quick kiss before tearing himself away.
“I love you more than anything else in the fucking world,” Touya says, his eyes flicking between Katsuki’s. “But I can’t keep doing this.”
Katsuki’s eyes blow wide. “The fuck’s that mean?”
Touya kisses him once more and then climbs off the bed, standing beside the blonde. He trails his fingers down Katsuki’s cheeks, along his lips, and he smiles softly as he trails the back of his index finger along the blonde’s adorable little nose.
“You are so fucking beautiful,” Touya murmurs, and Katsuki’s cheeks flush pink. “I love you when you’re flustered, when you’re cocky, when you’re angry… when you’re sad.”
“What’s going on?” Katsuki asks hesitantly.
“I can’t watch you die again,” Touya says, huffing out a broken laugh. “Not after… not after you taking yourself out. Just… I can’t.”
He turns and makes his way out of the room, not stopping when he hears Katsuki scrambling out of bed behind him, shouting for him to stop. Touya plants himself in the middle of the living space and holds his hands up as he activates his Quirk, coating himself in blue fire.
“Stop!” Katsuki shouts, panicked. “You’re not wearing your regulators, you moron! Your body is gonna overheat!”
“I know,” Touya says, cranking up the temperature. “I’m the one who fucks everything up anyway. If anyone needs to be removed from the equation, it’s me.”
“Stop!” Katsuki screams, tears now trailing down his face.
Touya closes his eyes, doing his best not to scream as his flames go beyond the limit his body can handle and his flesh begins to melt, the fire searing him down to his very bones.
—
Katsuki steps out of the bathroom attached to Touya’s hospital room, feeling a little better now that he’s washed his face with some water, the cool temperature soothing his stinging eyes. He crosses the space, going to the little round dining table at the far end of the room, where he’d placed his phone earlier, checking for messages. He only has one and he opens it up, blank faced.
Illus-o-Bitch:
Yo, heads up, boi
Fuyu just texted Shou to say the whole fam is gonna get there at 8
A loud gasp startles him and he whirls around, staring wide-eyed at Touya, who jolts upright, the heart monitor beeping wildly as he looks around. Katsuki drops his phone and cautiously walks over.
“Whoa, calm the fuck down,” Katsuki says, and Touya’s head snaps to him.
“Katsuki,” Touya croaks out, trying to pull himself over the railing.
He nearly falls from the bed, but Katsuki rushes to catch him, both hands firmly gripping him under his biceps. “Oi, knock it the fuck off.”
Touya wraps his arms around the blonde’s middle and buries his face in his chest, getting a deep inhale of the man’s caramel scent, the one Katsuki has never been able to hide beneath musky cologne, despite his best efforts. It solidifies Touya’s mind in reality and he tightens his hold, sighing heavily.
Katsuki swallows thickly and rubs slow circles into the man’s back, trying not to melt into the embrace. It’s hard, and he wonders if coming here was a mistake, because he’s never going to be able to get over this man, and the solidification of that fact is like a slap to the face.
“I love you so much,” Touya says, and Katsuki’s breath hitches, his eyes stinging as his hand falters where he’s rubbing the man’s back.
The door opens and Katsuki looks up, his eyes widening when he sees a doctor and two nurses step inside. He pulls away from the embrace, but Touya’s hands fly out, grabbing one of Katsuki’s and holding it like a lifeline.
“I’ll call the family,” one of the nurses says, quickly leaving the room.
“It’s good to see you awake, Todoroki-san,” the doctor says as he steps up alongside the bed. “You were hit by a Quirk, but I wonder if we were wrong on the perpetrator because no one else has gotten out before the 24-hour window.”
“Excuse me,” the still present nurse says, trying to get around Katsuki to take Touya’s vitals.
“No,” Touya gasps out when Katsuki tries to pull his hand away, tugging the blonde closer and holding his hand tighter, looking at Katsuki pleadingly. “Don’t go.”
“Okay, Touy,” Katsuki says, and the older man relaxes slightly.
“Do you remember anything?” The doctor asks.
Touya nods, though he frowns, the memories suddenly feeling hazy. “It’s… hard to remember.”
“Do you know who caused this?” The doctor asks next as they pull a pen from their lab coat pocket.
“Ms. Joke,” Touya says immediately.
“You’re sure?” The doctor says, blinking, and Touya nods. “Alright. Some people affected by Ms. Joke’s Quirk experienced fluctuations with the memories, though they were unspecific on the reason why. Most forgot everything within two weeks.”
The door suddenly bursts open and the entire Todoroki family spills in.
Katsuki quickly rips his hand from Touya’s and steps to the side as they surround the bed. Rei and Fuyumi wrap their arms around him in hugs, Fuyumi doing so awkwardly with her rounded belly. Enji pats his head and tells him they’ll catch the person responsible, Shouto apologizes for leaving him alone while on patrol, and Natsuo promises to make sure the doctors here give him the best care.
Seeing that the man is in good hands, and knowing he’s about to lose himself to his sadness again, Katsuki grabs his phone and quickly leaves the room, not looking back. His eyes burn and he looks down, shoving his hands deep into his pockets as he speed walks, moving as quickly as he can without actually running.
“Fuck,” Touya gasps, his hands flying to his head as the memories from the Quirk resurface in his brain. He chokes on his own spit as the agony rips through him again and he looks around for blonde hair. “Where’s Katsuki?”
“He left just after we got here,” Enji says.
“I need—I need him,” Touya says, pushing Rei’s and Fuyumi’s hands away so he can clamber off the bed, tangling his legs in the sheets and ripping the blood pressure cuff cord out of the wall as he falls.
“Whoa!” Natsuo shouts as he hurries over with Shouto and Enji.
“Get back into the bed, Touya,” Enji says sternly.
“No!” Touya shouts, standing up and ripping the velcro cuff from his bicep, dropping it to the floor. He plucks the clip off his finger too, fortunately having avoided knocking over the expensive heart monitor. “I need to apologize!”
“For what?” Fuyumi asks.
“For not letting the fucking planet know how much I love him!” Touya shouts, turning to look at them all. They all have shocked looks on their faces, but Touya doesn’t give a single fuck. “I spent two years hiding my relationship, afraid of what people would say about it.”
He locks eyes with his father. “About what you would say about it.” Enji’s eyes fill with a mix of emotions Touya can’t be bothered to decipher, and he looks across his siblings and mother. “But I don’t care anymore. That fucking Quirk made me relive the day Katsuki told me he couldn’t do it anymore. It got worse and worse and worse, until he started dying and then he kept fucking dying, and then he killed himself—”
A choked sob cuts him off, and he takes a moment to regain himself, blinking against tears. “So I don’t care anymore, and I will not let Katsuki go another fucking moment without knowing how much he means to me.”
He turns and races out of the hospital room before any of his family can overcome their shock, uncaring of the fact that he’s shoeless and in a hospital gown that leaves his ass on full display. None of the shouts in the hallway can slow him down, though when he’s suddenly engulfed in black at the doors of the Q-Wing, he gets ready to scream, but Camie steps in front of him.
“If you’re gonna go after your boy, it’d be easier if you had this,” Camie whispers, giving him a wink as she holds out a piece of paper, the blackness fading as she ends her Quirk.
“Thank you, and I’m sorry for calling you a tits-for-brains bimbo behind your back,” Touya says, and then bolts out the doors, leaving Camie to blink once before snorting out a laugh.
More nurses and doctors shout for him to stop, but he ignores them all, bursting out into the waiting room and darting for the doors. He hears startled gasps, and when he makes it out onto the sidewalk, several people scream when they see his bare ass bouncing as he races toward Katsuki’s house.
He can hear the clicking of cameras, but all that’s on his mind is Katsuki. He ignores the burning in his sides as he picks up the pace, sprinting over small pebbles that bruise the undersides of his feet.
When he finally reaches the address on the paper, he darts up to the stoop and bangs on the door. “Katsuki! I need to talk to you!”
He can hear movement behind the door, but when there are no signs of it being opened he gulps in a breath and takes a step back. He squares his shoulders, nostrils flaring with his determination.
“I am an ungrateful bastard who took advantage of the best thing to ever fucking happen to me!” Touya yells, his voice cracking a little, but he presses on. “I should’ve shown you how much I appreciate you! I never should’ve pushed my insecurities onto you! I should have sucked it up and screamed to the fucking world about how Bakugou Katsuki is the most amazing man I have ever met!”
He sucks in more oxygen, balling his hands into fists at his sides. “I lived through a fucking nightmare—watching you leave me, watching you die, but… watching you kill yourself because you thought I would never pick you—” his voice cracks again and he sniffles before clearing his throat. “I burned myself alive to escape.”
He lifts the front of the gown to wipe away the wetness on his cheeks before moving a bit closer to the door, pressing his palm flatly to the wood. “I love you more than anything else! I know I fucked up, and I know that I might’ve lost any chance of ever getting you back, but you need to know that I’m going to follow you to the ends of the Earth! I will burn down everything that stands in the way of your dreams, of your happiness, even if… even if that includes me.”
His hand slides down the door and he closes his eyes. “I spent my entire life working to be a fucking hero, but I would kill for you, Katsuki. I would burn the planet if it would make you happy.”
He gasps in a breath, his chest heaving, and the door finally opens, his palm falling through empty air on its trail back to his side. Tears drip past his waterline as he takes in Katsuki’s wet cheeks, and he steps closer, cupping his soft jaw, using the pads of his thumbs to wipe away his tears.
“I am so fucking sorry,” Touya says, sincerity dripping from every word. “You mean so much more to me than my dad’s stupid fucking approval. I know I’m a fucking idiot, but I will always be here for you, even if you never give me another chance.”
Katsuki swallows thickly. “You’re an asshole.”
A wet laugh sputters past Touya’s lips. “I know.”
“Kiss him!” A familiar voice shouts from the next house over, and both men turn to see Denki standing there with the entire Baku-Squad. “If you don’t, I will!”
“I knew I was gonna regret moving in next to him,” Katsuki mumbles.
Touya huffs softly, then gasps as Katsuki’s warm hands grasp his face, turning him and pulling him in for a kiss. Touya melts into it, his hands sliding up into soft blonde hair, holding him close as their mouths move, their kiss quickly growing more heated.
Kyouka wolf whistles and Mina whoops before shouting, “Your ass looks fantastic in that gown!”
Katsuki’s hands fly down to the taller man’s uncovered ass, and he squeezes firmly, stepping backwards and using his grip to tug the man into the house. He raises one foot to kick the door shut, the sound startling Touya, who looks up before spinning them both around and pinning the blonde to the door.
“I love you,” Touya says as he starts kissing down Katsuki’s neck, repeating the words like a mantra between each lip press.
Katsuki lets out a soft moan when Touya sucks on his pulse point, his cock quickly hardening, and Touya growls lightly as he grinds against him, his own dick swelling at the sound. Katsuki lifts one leg to wrap around Touya’s thighs, and the taller man reaches down to grip the blonde’s ass, tugging harshly until he jumps, trusting Touya to carry him.
“Where’s the bedroom?” Touya pants out.
“Down the hall, past the kitchen,” Katsuki says, wrapping his legs tightly around the man’s waist as he coils his arms around his shoulders, leaning in to kiss and bite along his neck.
Touya stumbles into a table and something falls off, cracking on the floor. “Oh, fuck.”
“Ignore it,” Katsuki says, and Touya easily obeys, continuing down the hallway.
Touya stumbles into the bedroom, leaving the door open, eyes locked on the large bed centered against the far wall. The mattress is thick, up on a wooden frame, and Touya drops Katsuki down onto it hard enough to make it creak.
He pulls Katsuki’s hands and legs from him and rips at his clothing, charring a few pieces and tearing some seams in his haste. Once the man is nude, he tugs the hospital gown from his own body and climbs up over the blonde, his chest heaving as he looks him over, soaking in his beauty.
“I love you so fucking much,” he says, leaning down to capture his lips again.
Katsuki moans into the kiss as their hard cocks slide against each other, but Touya pulls back as he kisses down his neck, sucking little marks into his lightly tanned skin. He moves slowly down Katsuki’s body, trailing kisses across his skin, pausing at his pecs to slowly drag his tongue over one of his nipples before latching onto it, giving it a soft suck.
His other hand slides up and down Katsuki’s side, nails lightly dragging along his skin on each downward movement. He continues to gently roll Katsuki’s nipple between his teeth and then pulls back, releasing it with a pop and then rapidly flicks his tongue over the sensitive bud, his eyes locked on Katsuki’s face as the man lets out soft sounds of pleasure.
He kisses along his chest on the way to his other nipple, where he licks a circle around it before sucking the skin into his mouth. He’s much harsher with this one, chomping down, making Katsuki gasp and arch up into him. He kisses around it soothingly, and then continues his way down the man’s body.
He trails his tongue along the dips of Katsuki’s abdomen, kisses around his belly button, feeling the man’s cock smearing precum along his chest when the head brushes his skin. Touya shudders at the feeling, moving further down, and he noses at Katsuki’s cock as he presses kisses around the base.
“Gods, I love you,” Touya says again.
“I love you too,” Katsuki says, his voice somewhat strained, pupils totally blown.
Touya licks a stripe up his length, pressing against the prominent vein on the underside, and Katsuki’s hips jerk in response. Touya dips the tip of his tongue into the slit, the taste of salty precum nearly overwhelming his senses. He twirls his tongue around the head before suckling on it harshly.
“F-fuck,” Katsuki pants out.
Touya hums, hollowing his cheeks for a hard suck before pulling off with a lewd pop. He licks his lips as he grips the blonde’s thick thighs, pushing them up as he kisses back down his shaft, sucking on his balls to show them love before dragging his tongue along his perineum.
He circles the man’s puffy pink hole with his tongue and then gathers up spit in his mouth, ensuring his tongue is coated in drool as he licks over his hole. Katsuki shudders at the feeling, reaching down to grab fistfuls of Touya’s hair.
Touya groans in approval and pushes his tongue inside slowly, making Katsuki moan softly, having always been weak for this. Touya’s fingers slowly knead his skin as he moves them closer to Katsuki’s ass, never stopping the slow curling of his tongue inside him.
When his digits are finally near enough, he presses one in to join his tongue, and Katsuki gasps as the man’s long, thick finger lightly pulls at his rim as he stretches him. Touya is still drooling heavily, salivating at the mere thought of being inside this man again; his cock is achingly hard, dripping a steady stream of precum against the blanket below them.
“Touya,” Katsuki says, and Touya hums to let him know he’s listening, sliding a second finger in to join his tongue. “Ah, f-fuck. Please. I need you.”
Touya’s eyes nearly roll back at that, and he pulls away, instinctually reaching over to the nightstand, where he knows Katsuki has always kept his lube, no matter where he’s lived. He opens the cap with a click, the sound increasing his own impatience, and he flips it upside down, squeezing it to drizzle the cold liquid directly onto his cock. The lube steams lightly when it hits him thanks to how overheated he is with his excitement.
He grips one of Katsuki’s ass cheeks with one hand, using his other to guide his dick to his entrance, taking in a deep breath, which leaves him in the form of a deep groan as he pushes inside. He stammers out curses as he leans over Katsuki, slowly pressing into him as he captures his lips in a heated, desperate kiss.
“Show me how much you missed me,” Katsuki says into the kiss, wrapping his legs around Touya’s hips.
“Oh, fuck,” Touya says, his hips snapping forward harshly. He chuckles lowly, the sound dark as he struggles to control himself. “You really don’t want me to do that, Doll.”
Katsuki’s eyes lid and he leans up to nip at his earlobe. “Do your worst.”
Touya growls out a feral sound as he pulls back until only the head of his cock is inside, and then he slams back up, the headboard cracking against the wall repeatedly as he sets a brutal pace. His dick ruthlessly slides along the blonde’s prostate, making him twitch and gasp.
Katsuki moans loudly, throwing his head back, but there’s a glint in his eyes when he opens them again a moment later. “Is this—hah—all you’ve got?”
Touya’s eyes narrow into slits and he slaps Katsuki’s legs off before pulling out, roughly manhandling the blonde as he spins him around, shoving him up against the headboard. He doesn’t give the blonde any time to adjust to the new position before he lines up and rams back into him.
Katsuki scrambles to grip the headboard as Touya pounds into him, the grip on his hips heating up, fingers pressing in hard enough to hurt. It only adds to his pleasure though, and he angles his hips, pushing back to meet each brutal thrust, gasping when the man hits the perfect spot.
“Touya!” Katsuki screams as he cums, his cock squirting out over the pillows, his orgasm hitting him so hard that his palms ignite, splintering the headboard.
He gasps as he slumps forward, but Touya is quick to wrap his arms around the blonde’s waist. He slowly sits back, pulling Katsuki flush against his chest as he sits, keeping his cock buried deep inside him as he leans back, until he’s lying flat on his back, the blonde atop him.
Touya slides his hands down to Katsuki’s hips, holding him firmly in place as he starts drilling up into him. The man’s dense weight is definitely making this harder, forcing him to take shallower breaths, but that only makes him groan louder, fucking up into him even harder.
Katsuki lets out a whimper as he reaches down to fist his cock, which has already filled back up to half mast. He jerks himself roughly, his eyes nearly rolling back as Touya’s hands sizzle along his skin, not enough to burn, but the danger of it is there and Katsuki chokes on his own spit.
“Mark me,” Katsuki gasps out, fisting his dick faster, squeezing himself harder.
Touya growls, gritting his teeth together as he pistons up, ignoring the cramp in his ass. He carefully increases the heat on his hands, enough to make himself hurt, knowing the man’s heat resistance is higher than his own, and goes a little hotter.
Katsuki’s ass clenches around him, forcing Touya to slow down as the blonde above him trembles with his release, his cock spilling out over his hand and making a mess of his abdomen. Touya curses under his breath, so close to tipping over the edge.
“Now everyone will know I’m yours,” Katsuki says, and Touya snaps.
He shoves his cock into Katsuki’s guts as he cums, groaning deeply as he unloads inside him. White dances behind his eyes as his lids flutter shut, losing himself momentarily in his bliss.
Katsuki sliding off his softened cock is what finally snaps him back into his body, looking up tiredly as Katsuki curls up at his side, leaning over him to capture his lips. Touya sighs into it, slowly leaning up over the blonde, never parting from their lip lock as he steadily maneuvers them until he’s looming over Katsuki, his hands running through his hair gently.
“I love you more than anything,” Touya mumbles against his lips, pulling back to look down at him, smiling softly when he sees the man’s eyes prick with tears. “Just tell me what you want and I’ll do it.”
“Nap with me, I slept like shit last night,” Katsuki grumbles.
Touya chuckles, but nods. “Let me clean you up first.”
It takes a little while for him to find the bathroom, but he wets a washcloth with warm water and goes back into the bedroom, where he sees Katsuki tiredly pulling clean sheets onto the bed. He huffs a small laugh as he walks over, pulling Katsuki to turn him around and wiping him off, dragging the cloth down his front, along his cock, and down to the cum trickling out his hole.
“We can take a fuckin’ shower later,” Katsuki grumbles, smacking his hand and making him drop the washcloth.
“Yeah,” Touya says, pushing the blonde onto the bed and climbing in next to him, grabbing the folded clean blanket waiting on the nightstand and flapping it open before laying it over them both. He wraps his arms around the blonde’s middle, holding him close and nuzzling against his jaw. “We can take one together. Save water, y’know.”
—
Touya blinks his eyes open, his gaze immediately landing on Katsuki’s sleeping face and for a moment, his body goes rigid in horror. He slowly looks around, relaxing when he sees the unfamiliar room. He sighs as he leans in to press a soft kiss to Katsuki’s cheek and then slides out of bed.
He looks around for his phone for a moment, and then realizes it must be at the hospital along with his clothes. He goes to the closet attached to the room and grabs a pair of boxers, pulling them on over his ass.
He scans the room for Katsuki’s phone, but doesn’t see it, so he walks out down the hall in search of the device. He barely avoids stepping on the broken remnants of a vase, and is momentarily distracted as he opens various closets in search of cleaning supplies.
He grimaces, his nose scrunched up as he cleans the mess he made, making a mental note to replace it as soon as possible. But, as he’s dumping the chunks into the garbage, he finds Katsuki’s phone on the counter. He tries to unlock it, but it asks for biometrics, so he goes back to the bedroom and grabs Katsuki’s hand, carefully tapping the sleeping man’s middle finger to the fingerprint icon.
When it unlocks, he leaves the room again, ignoring the 200 notifications from various sources and going to his contacts to call Denki. The man answers on the second ring, sounding fairly confused by the call as he gives a standard, “Hello?”
“Hey, can you pick up some cinnamon soufflé pancakes and spiced maple syrup and bring it here?” Touya asks, skipping formalities all together.
“Oh, sure!” Denki says. “I’ll be there in like, half an hour-ish?”
“Thanks,” Touya says, and then hangs up and walks back to the bedroom.
He lifts the blanket, crawling under it and planting himself between Katsuki’s legs. He leans in to press a kiss to the blonde’s limp cock, and then parts his lips, mouthing over his shaft. The man twitches under him as his dick begins to swell and Touya switches to small licks, flicking his tongue along his frenulum.
Katsuki lets out a small gasp and Touya brings a hand up to gently knead the man’s balls. He opens his mouth wide, drool pooled in his cheeks, and he slowly sinks down his length, slobber dripping past his lips, trickling down to the curly blonde hairs at the base.
A soft moan passes Katsuki’s lips, and he shifts a little, sleepily rolling his hips up, seeking out the wet heat of Touya’s mouth. The older man is happy to oblige the unconscious request, relaxing his throat and feeling grateful for his lack of a gag reflex. He focuses on breathing through his nose when he rises back up, and then sinks back down, hollowing his cheeks and sucking as he swallows around the length.
“Fuck,” Katsuki gasps, his lids fluttering, feeling sleepy, but focusing on the heat surrounding his cock.
When a finger slides into his hole, he clenches down instinctually, surprised by the intrusion, but it doesn’t stop moving until it presses against his prostate. He gasps, bucking up, slamming his cock deeper into the wet warmth and his eyes fly open. He leans up on his elbows, his pupils blowing wide as he takes in the sight of Touya’s lips stretched around his length, eyes lidded as he meets Katsuki’s gaze.
Whatever he sees on the blonde’s face has him moaning, and Katsuki chokes, barely holding himself up with one arm as he brings his other hand up to rest on the man’s hair. He groans as Touya sucks harder, picking up the pace with both his mouth and hand, his other hand toying with his balls.
Katsuki can feel his edge rapidly approaching and he gasps, tugging at Touya’s hair. “I’m gonna—fuck.”
Touya’s eyes nearly roll back when, instead of pulling him off, Katsuki shoves his head down, forcing him to hold his cock deep in his throat as he cums. The thick, bitter release spills down Touya’s throat, which he greedily swallows, continuing to push at the man’s prostate as he gently rubs the tightened balls in his other hand, drawing out the blonde’s pleasure.
When Katsuki whines, Touya finally relents, pulling off his cock. He licks his lips and then leans in to lap around the blonde’s softening member, cleaning him up with steady kitten licks until a knock sounds on the front door.
“What the fuck?” Katsuki says, confused.
Touya pulls away from his dick and leans up to peck him on the lips. “Stay here.”
Katsuki just blinks, watching as the white-haired man scrambles out of the room, not bothered by the fact that his own erection is prominent in the borrowed boxers. Katsuki shakes his head and looks down at himself, his lips twitching when he sees the red handprints on his sides. They throb, and he knows he’s going to need to use burn cream on them for a while, but he lovingly traces his fingers over the one on his left hip.
The front door slams shut and Touya hurries back into the bedroom, holding two bags. One is clear and full of Touya’s hero costume elements, the side labeled ‘Patient Personal Items,’ with his name scrawled across the front. The other is a thick brown paper bag, and the smell wafting from it has Katsuki groaning.
“Breakfast for lunch, I got your favorite,” Touya says as he walks over to the bed, plopping down.
“Fucking hell,” Katsuki says as he opens the bag.
He pulls out the to-go container and pops it open, taking an appreciative inhale. Touya hands him the included fork and little container of syrup. He smiles as Katsuki eats, the blonde narrowing his eyes even as he blushes.
“Fuck, I missed you so much,” Touya murmurs, and Katsuki’s cheeks turn beet red, his flush trailing up to his ears and down to his chest. “I’ll go get a bath started.”
Katsuki just grunts around his mouthful and Touya leans in to kiss his cheek before going to the bathroom. His nerves are bubbling back up, and he chews at his lower lip as he turns the hot water on, cranking it up to the highest heat, knowing that both he and the blonde enjoy near-boiling temperatures for their baths.
He carefully lines up the soaps and then goes to the shelf, pulling down two towels and wash cloths, fidgeting with it all. He nearly jumps when hands are suddenly at his hips, pushing down the boxers. Katsuki chuckles, and Touya squirms out of the small bit of clothing, letting the blonde bully him into the tub, waiting until he sits so that he can straddle the older man’s lap.
Katsuki leans against Touya, just soaking in the warmth of the hot water and the comfort of Touya’s chest under his cheek. Touya wraps his arms around him, holding him tightly, tilting his head to brush his lips along the man’s forehead.
“I don’t want to leave,” Touya says quietly.
“Hah?” Katsuki says, leaning back enough to meet his gaze.
“I don’t want to go back to that stupid apartment,” Touya clarifies. “It’s where we hid, and I don’t want to hide anymore.”
“Idiot,” Katsuki says, slumping back against him. “I bought this house a few months ago.”
Touya blinks once. “What?”
“I’ve been fixing it up,” Katsuki says, sighing against his neck. “I was gonna surprise you with it when you were ready to…”
“Oh,” Touya says, his chest tightening up with his guilt.
“S’ our house, Touy,” Katsuki says, kissing his neck.
“I told my family that I love you,” Touya says, swallowing thickly. “And uh, I’m pretty sure everyone knows now, because I definitely saw cameras on my way over… and your phone has about two hundred notifications.”
“Huh,” Katsuki says, leaning forward, grabbing one of the washcloths. “Well, now I’m fucking curious.”
He squirts some soap onto it and wipes down his body, and Touya leans over him to grab the other, scrubbing himself down. Their movements are quicker now, curiosity pushing them to move faster so they can see what the fuck has been going on in the outside world since Touya woke up six hours ago.
Katsuki pulls the drain plug and stands up, grabbing his towel. Touya reaches around the blonde to grab his own, accidentally grabbing Katsuki’s pec on the first try. Somehow, Katsuki doesn’t seem to believe that his fingers give the nipple a pinch and a tweak all on their own.
“I swear, it’s part of the Quirk,” Touya says as they make their way into the bedroom, towels around their hips.
“Oh my Gods,” Katsuki says, snickering as he opens his closet. “You’re an idiot.”
“After-effects, Doll,” Touya says, sighing as he steps up behind the blonde. “Ah—oh no, I can feel another coming on.”
He slaps Katsuki’s ass, and the blonde snorts as he pulls down two pairs of boxers. Touya cackles as he pulls the pair gifted to him on, waiting for the blonde to tug his own on. He grabs Katsuki’s waist, holding him tightly from behind, letting the blonde lead the way out of the room, not at all bothered by having to lean awkwardly to let the man walk.
They stop by the kitchen so Katsuki can swipe his phone from the counter, and then they veer into the living room. Touya turns them both around and falls back on the couch, pulling the blonde onto his lap. Katsuki huffs, but wiggles to get comfortable and Touya sighs, nuzzling into his neck, content to read over his shoulder.
“What the fuck,” Katsuki mumbles as he unlocks his phone.
He has 43 new message groups waiting for him, over a hundred emails, and 13 missed calls from his mother. He grimaces at the last one, and swipes through his emails first, frowning when he sees that they’re almost entirely from news sources asking for interviews.
Katsuki clicks his tongue as he exits out, going to his messages next. The most recent one is the Baku-Squad chat, which still has new messages rolling in. He skips it for now in favor of opening an image attachment from Denki, which turns out to be a glorious picture of Touya’s bare ass hanging out of his hospital gown.
“Makes me regret not getting my ass tattooed,” Touya mumbles.
“Shut up,” Katsuki says, downloading the picture and immediately setting it as his new background, which has Touya snickering against his shoulder.
Finally, he goes to the text conversation with his mother.
Hag:
I’m glad you boys figured your shit out
It was painful watching you two act like you weren’t fucking head-over-heels for each other
My tsundere son deserves someone fucking sappy enough to declare his love while he’s 1 step away from public nudity
“For fucks’ sake,” Katsuki says, shaking his head as Touya laughs some more, kissing his bare shoulder. “I knew she didn’t fucking buy my lies.”
He opens his messages from Shouto next.
Half-n-Half:
I suppose having another brother wouldn’t be so bad.
But you’re going to have to take over patrols with him for a while as I already submitted my complaint against him.
They last for 30 days.
OMG!!!11!
BABEZ!
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH!!!
SPECIALLY TOUYA, SO GLAD HE PULLED HIS HEAD OUTTA HIS ASS!!!

CAn”T WAIT TO BE IN-LAWS!!!! ♥
“Something tells me Shouto didn’t type those out,” Touya says, and Katsuki snorts.
“Fuckin’ Sherlock Holmes, aren’t ya?” Katsuki says, shaking his head lightly.
“It’s part of my training to decipher coded messages,” Touya says, doing his best to keep his voice serious, but a grin pulls at his lips when Katsuki barks out a laugh.
Touya’s phone starts to ring from where he left it in the hospital item bag. It’s the special ringtone marking it as a call from Enji’s work phone, and Katsuki curses as he moves to the side so Touya can sprint for it. He really hopes he’s not being called in for a mission right now, because he just wants to spend the rest of his day curled up with Katsuki. Maybe fuck him a couple more times.
“Hello?” He says, slapping his phone to his ear.
“Touya,” Enji’s voice rumbles out. “Sorry for calling you from this line, but we have a lot to discuss.”
There’s some rustling, and then Rei’s soft voice takes over. “Oh, you must bring Katsuki over for dinner tonight!”
“Um,” Touya says, turning to walk back into the living room. Katsuki looks at him, brows raised in a silent question. “You, uh, want me and Katsuki to go over for dinner tonight?”
Katsuki’s eyes blow wide, and Touya just silently nods as his mother goes on about how she’s already started making the food, all his favorites, and she’s inviting his brothers and sister over as well, so it’s going to be a special family night.
“Okay,” Touya chokes out.
—
Touya is fairly certain he’s going to faint as he makes his way up to his childhood home. He knows he made the right decision, but he’s still riddled with anxiety as his boyfriend—yes, still his boyfriend, they had confirmed it on the car ride over—leads him to the front stoop.
“You want me to knock?” Katsuki offers, squeezing their joined hands.
Touya shakes his head quickly, sucks in a sharp breath, raises his fist, and barely taps it against the wood. It’s such a light sound, he’s positive that no one heard it.
Until the door is nearly ripped off its hinges, giving the two a fraction of a second to see Enji’s face before his massive arms wrap around them both and tug them against his broad chest in a bear hug that is downright terrifying with no context.
“I am so proud of you, Touya,” Enji says, chest rumbling with his words, and Touya sucks in a sharp breath. “I’ve always been proud of you, and I’m sorry that I failed to tell you that.”
He pulls back, keeping a hand on either of their shoulders as he looks down at them, his eyes sliding to Katsuki. “And I’m sorry that you were also hurt by my negligence.”
Enji lets out a long sigh and bows his head to them, lowering his voice. “And I’m in trouble with Rei now.”
Natsuo scoffs from behind his father, shouldering the larger man to the side so he can glare at his older brother. “Hana is pissed that my proposal wasn’t even that romantic.”
“I told Shou to step up his game!” Camie says from inside the house.
Fuyumi’s giggling sounds, light and airy. “I told Tensei the same thing.”
—
Touya leans across the round table, reaching past the single red rose in the vase at the center so he can clasp Katsuki’s hand. The restaurant they’re in is peaceful, with a live pianist playing classical tunes. The two men have full stomachs and satiated smiles on their faces, having already finished their meals.
“I am so fucking lucky,” Touya says, his eyes soft as he looks between Katsuki’s scarlet orbs. “I have the most gorgeous, intelligent, badass boyfriend.”
“Shut up,” Katsuki says, his cheeks pinkening lightly.
“No, it’s your birthday and it is my job to shower you with affection all day,” Touya says firmly.
Katsuki rolls his eyes, but his lips twitch as he tries to contain a soft smile. “Sap.”
“Your strawberry shortcake,” their waiter says as he comes to a stop beside the table, holding a covered tray.
Touya gives Katsuki’s hand a squeeze before letting go, giving the man room to place the dish down. Touya’s eyes are locked on Katsuki’s face as the lid is lifted up, revealing a large, delectable slice of strawberry shortcake drizzled with chocolate and some strawberries cut into hearts lining the dish.
At the top of the cake, placed neatly atop the freshly swirled whipped cream, is a solid gold ring.
Katsuki sucks in a sharp breath, his eyes going wide as he turns his gaze to Touya. The white-haired man stands up, taking the quick step to round the table, and kneels beside the blonde’s seat. Getting their cue, several more waiters suddenly walk over, producing full bouquets of red roses, and Fur Elise suddenly stops as the pianist begins to play Tchaikovsky’s Love Theme instead.
“I love you more than the moon and the stars, Katsuki. I could go the rest of my life without sunlight as long as you’re at my side, because you burn brighter than any star could ever hope to. I would be honored to have the chance to spend the rest of our lives together so I can tell you every day how much I love you.”
Katsuki’s eyes are wet, and Touya smiles softly at him as he takes the ring from the cake, using a napkin to wipe it clean. He grasps Katsuki’s left hand and holds the ring in front of his ring finger, pausing as he looks back up at the man.
“Bakugou Katsuki, will you marry me?”
Katsuki sniffles heavily, but he nods quickly. “Of fucking course I will, idiot.”
Touya grins, pushing the ring in place, though Katsuki barely gives him the chance before he grasps his face, harshly tugging the white-haired man into a kiss. The resounding applause around the restaurant is nothing but muffled background noise as the two lose themselves in one another.
