This was going to be a panel of a little comic but I got too invested in drawing minute background details so, here.

i have a lot of dandys world doodles I’m working on and to be so honest they could all be one post and it’d be fine. but part way through i ended up developing three separate Themes and i can’t get past how i should separate them based on these Themes. but separated they’re only 2-3 drawings maximum so that makes me want to make more drawings for those Themes, to make them being their own 3 separate posts feel worth it. this results in me stagnating on working on any of them is the thing

i was thinking about ways to babytrap him where he doesnt just mabort that thang for career reasons, and i think this could get the job done. i also think if its vale's (WHO ELSEEEE) that theres no way he believes that marc didnt know the entire time AND he is. as many other scholars have discussed borderline insane about marc presumably racing pregnant. i mean lbr the offseason is NOT long so he had to have been, and this is in many ways one of the keenest sharpest daggers you could drive into the soft wound of vale's injury issues wrt to marc's particular brand of psycho recklessness. like what if you had TRAUMA and you were ESTRANGED from the love of your life and he was RACING while PREGNANT with your BABY for MONTHS without TELLING YOU... okay saying that. i do realize that this is somewhat the plot of one those f1 heterosexual romance fiction novels but i stand by it!!!!!!! these guys are that level of insane anyways!!!! IDK! maybe marc gets knocked up like halfway through 2015 and has the baby at testing in february. truly maximum drama maximum soap opera marc has NO idea what is happening. its the first time loitering around the same hotel since sepang 2015, and it IS the trauma track, and marc truly thinks it is indigestion (at no point does begging off bike time happen however lol) until UH OH and the baby is there. and alex walks in on marc like on the bathroom floor with a BABY wrapped in a towel and baby goo truly more freaked out than hes ever been in his life its very soap opera. and honda is very smoke and mirrors about everything until genuinely six months later a pic of the baby leaks and its a tiny valentino rossi clone with brown intelligent eyes lol. and then vale puts the (confusing i think) dots together and the shit hits the fan

can i be real i hate the whole trend of hating AI art for the reason that “it doesn’t have a soul” because on one hand yes i understand the critique of when a human creates a piece of art there is reason and purpose behind every decision while a machine can’t do that. but i feel like people who say this are so much more focused on the spiritual “i never knew art had a soul until i was faced with the lack of one…..” and not the fact that it’s stealing from Actual Fucking Artists. who cares if it has a soul. people are losing their jobs.

asir is one of those very rare wc themed examples where i look at it and i think “wow this wouldve been way more fitting and coherent if it was about [x male character]”. in this case, it is SO baffling to me that this premise wasn’t given to stormfur to explore his mistreatment in riverclan more and make a stronger connection for why he leaves for the tribe. the only reasons i can imagine it wasnt are that a) feathertail was neglected very hard and they probably realized itd look shitty if they gave stormfur a new book but not feathertail and b) because they at least realized that stormfur getting bullied into forgiving leopardstar and “learning to be a proper warrior” would be a very dissatisfying and weird decision knowing that he not only leaves them for the tribe, but leopardstar kicks him out again later.

honestly there was no winning with either twin as long as the ending is “stop thinking about it, become a conservative, and forgive the woman who tortured and imprisoned you and sentenced you to death” now that i think about it

instead of bad brother hashirama willfully throwing tobirama on the pyre for the sake of peace with a smile on his face, "forced-bad brother in an unwinnable situation" hashirama could be fun. he doesn't volunteer tobirama into getting married off, he gets forced into it. the uchiha demand tobirama marry izuna to make up for nearly killing him, or peace talks are off the table. "you have to kill tobirama or marry him off", to make it even more obvious that hashirama really only has the one choice (And to parallel madaras canonical demand).

so he makes it, and he and tobirama both know he never wanted to do it, and yet it ruins their relationship forever regardless. maybe tobirama wishes hashirama could've given him the choice because he would've picked death. maybe hashirama knows he would've, and that's why he refused to let tobirama choose. (maybe- though he never allows himself to think it- he wishes hashirama would've chosen him over peace, brother duties over clan head duties, but he wouldn't be hashirama if he did and tobirama knows it.)

hashirama is stuck not by a literal lack of options but by intrinsic nature of who he is and who he has to be.

There is a big difference between the idea Curly thought he could fix Jimmy vs Curly thought he could handle him and whatever he could possibly have going on at any given moment.

Curly as a person thinks he can fix or alleviate circumstances. That he can make things slightly better and more bearable. It gets conflated with his view of people which is distinctively something he views as being handled. He doesn’t really try to fix Jimmy so much more put himself around him as a sort of handler in lieu of an outlet. He can handle any outburst or criticism from Jimmy. He knows how he responds. He can handle it but he can’t fix it. Doesn’t try to fix the stemming issue with people but the situation they are in so it doesn’t make matters worse.

The issue is he can’t fix those situations cause they aren’t things he can handle. The source is not something he can handle even if he believes he could. The word fix and handle are not used interchangeably in the story but swapped. Curly doesn’t attempt to fix things, but handle them, in the absence of someone who would/could otherwise.

It’s a semantics if the difference of these words matter in wake of the actually effect but it does change perspective.

I think I sent this as a bug report last year but the "extra small" font size is bigger than the "small" font size. Not a big issue, a minor inconvenience trying to read on a smaller screen ^^'

ADHD really does put everything at equal levels of importance, huh? Like I'll have an email I need to write that'll take maybe 10 minutes, and getting that done will alleviate 6 months of stress. Then I'll notice a sock on the floor I need to put away. Then I'll get the strong conviction that it's up to me to cure cancer. And my brain will tell me that I need to do all of them at once, start and finish them all in the time span of 0 seconds, and my executive dysfunction will throw up its hands and do none of the above.
