180 Days documents the struggles faced by students in a state where the k-12 quality of education ranks 45th out of 50 in a nation with subpar k-12 education standards. As a mother raising 5 boys in SC in a district less than 50 miles from Hartsville, I feel grateful to have seen this film. From day 1 to day 180 this film explores the struggles students, teachers, principals and parents face trying to compete academically with socioeconomic handicaps.
