Deadpool is having a hard time fighting the new foe - Death Grip, the mad mystic martial artist. Death Grip keeps shrugging off katanas, kicks, punches and even the blabbering from the merc with a mouth. Meanwhile at the hidden base, Ellie Camacho and Princess the Symbiote Hyena learn that Deadpool had gone out on a mission without telling them so they interrogate Doug Siravanta for his whereabouts. Back to the temple, Deadpool keeps fighting Death Grip until he gets his arm torn off from a telekinetic attack. The mad mystic martial artist will stop at nothing to find the limits of Deadpool’s healing factor. Somewhere in the temple, Taskmaster is fighting off the temple's monks with a combination of learned martial arts and borrowed magic. Back to Deadpool vs Death Grip, the former (Deadpool) is still fighting the latter (Death Grip) despite having one arm. Even though Deadpool managed to get his upper hand (pardon the pun) on Death Grip by chopping off his hands, he loses his leg to the mystic's breath weapon. Just before Death Grip could finish off Deadpool, he is stopped by Ellie and Princess who arrived just in time and she fires a bomb arrow at the mystic. Both Ellie and Princess managed to save Deadpool before the temple blows up. Even though Deadpool is wounded and has missing left limbs, he is still alive much to the relief from his daughter. Also, Taskmaster emerges out of the wreckage, slightly wounded but alive.

I wish there was a good tag to use for Princess (Deadpool's symbiote dog daughter from the last comic series) because I want to look for fanart of her but if you just search 'Princess Deadpool' it's obviously not just going to be her. Should it be 'Princess the Symbiote' or 'Princess the Symbiote Hyena' or something like that?

Also side note, did I miss where she was mentioned to be a hyena? I get that Wade calls her a dog because he's Wade, but where did the hyena part come from?

I found something I made a while ago when all I was listening to was Disney villain songs (they are still bops I'm telling you). Anyway I wrote a bunch of stuff down about different manipulation tactics the villains used during their songs. So here:

Ursula (The Little Mermaid)

She paints herself as a good person.

She acts repentative and "admits" her past flaws "I admit that in the past I've been a nasty. They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch."

She acts as though Ariel had no other options.

She's lays out the specifics of the deal quickly, intentionally quite confusing

As soon as the deal is laid out she immediately pressures Ariel into signing and singing.

Ariel never reads the contract. Why Ariel?

Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)-

Honestly, LeFou is technically the manipulator here (in a way). He only manipulates the crowd in order to support Gaston's "wounded" self-esteem.

Gaston's toxic masculinity is fueled by the crowd. Gaston is the catalyst for the crowd's hatred of the Beast, but it's sort of a symbiotic relationship of hate and toxicity.

That's kind of it... Gaston is more a victim of his ego.

Scar (The Lion King)-

His song is just him rallying his army of hyenas (with some *cough cough* interesting nods to a certain German leader).

He plays to the hyena's sensitivities, promising an end to exile, starvation, and the discrimination they have faced for a while (rightly so in my opinion, those guys were creeps).

There isn't a much more powerful motivator than revenge, and Scar is giving a leaderless group his leadership in order to give it to them (allegedly Mufasa is the one who exiled them to the Elephant's Graveyard).

Like many of the villains of this list, he details his plan and their deal in his song. He is perhaps the clearest in doing so other than maybe our next villain.

Dr. Facilier (Princess and the Frog)- He has my favorite song and tactics on this list.

He draws Laurence and Naveen in with parlor tricks.

Facilier makes Laurence doubt his credibility, giving him an opening to begin his song and sweep them into his lair (?) (As John Mulaney says "Never let them take you to a secondary location").

The door slams shut as soon as they enter. Even if they had figured out this was real and something was wrong I doubt they could have escaped (Everyone has an expectation with magic shows if any kind that both parties acknowledge that it isn't real. This was).

He does a nice show with the cards and is easily charismatic as well as a touch creepy (it goes with his vibe and really should keep your guard up, but it lowers Naveen's).

His words are extremely literal, making him the most candid Disney villain in their songs. He literally tells Laurence "the you I see, is exactly the man you've always wanted to be "and Naveen "You just want to be free, hop from place to place, but freedom takes green."

He also insults Laurence to get him angry enough to take the deal.

Unlike most of the villains, he doesn't actually give them an actual deal, but the handshake agreed to whatever he wanted them to agree to.

The Monster Metropolis is under attack by the Zombiotes! Deadpool, Andi Benton, Princess the Symbiote Hyena/Dog and the monsters are fighting off the Zombiote invaders when they see Jimmy Hudson has turned into Poison the creature which assimilates the symbiotes and mind-controls them. Andi Benton tries to cure Man-Thing by using her Anti-Venom to purge the Zombiote influence from the monster but she gets herself burnt. Fortunately, Andi's Anti-Venom cure did work as Man-Thing is finally turned back to normal. After fighting off those Zombiotes, Deadpool gives a speech as he assembles the monsters to fight and defeat the Zombiotes in New York. The Frankenstein's Monster protests against the idea as he blames Deadpool for bringing the Zombiotes to Monster Metropolis (even though it wasn't really his fault) and he wants the monsters to be left alone. Deadpool replies that even if he did not bring the Zombiotes with him, both the Surface World and the Underground would be destroyed if the Zombiotes are not stopped.

After a rallying speech, Deadpool brings the monster allies with him to fight the Zombiotes in the streets of New York. Deadpool, Andi Benton, Princess the Symbiote Hyena/Dog and the monsters battle the Zombiotes and save the civilians at the same time. Unfortunately for them, Jimmy Hudson in his Poison mode, starts to go berserk from both the berserker rage and the Poison influence that he attacks anyone in his way whether they are enemies or friends. Simon Garth (a.k.a Zombie) is stabbed by Poison-Jimmy Hudson but since he is undead, he doesn't die again. The other monsters try to restrain Poison-Jimmy but it doesn't work.

Deadpool (Wade Wilson), Princess the Symbiote Hyena/Dog, Andi Benton and the monster allies are in the streets of New York where they battle the Zombiotes and save the civilians at the same time. Unfortunately for them, Jimmy Hudson in his Poison mode, starts to go berserk from both the berserker rage and the Poison influence that he attacks anyone in his way whether they are enemies or friends. As Poison-Jimmy Hudson stabs Zombie (Simon Garth), Deadpool sics Princess on Poison-Jimmy but it doesn't work when he slashes the Symbiote Hyena/Dog. While the other monsters try to restrain Poison-Jimmy, Deadpool sees the wounded Princess collapse near him. Deadpool tearfully embraces the seemingly-dying Symbiote Hyena/Dog until he feels the Symbiote Hyena/Dog bond with him, turning him into Princess Deadpool. It seems that Princess merging with a host like Deadpool is a way for the Symbiote Hyena/Dog to heal herself when she's hurt. So it's up to Princess Deadpool to stop the berserk Poison-Jimmy and save the city from the Zombiotes.

Along the way, Deadpool and others reach the Monster Metropolis where they meet Frankenstein's Monster, Manphibian, Zombie, Living Mummy, Man-Thing, Morbius and Jimmy Hudson. Though it's a pity that Shiklah the succubus and Marcus the centaur are absent in this comic.

Deadpool, Princess, Taskmaster and Doug Siravanta are attacked by Crossbones. Taskmaster and Princess the Symbiote Hyena try to move the man to safety but they are knocked out by grenades. Deadpool fights Crossbones but he gets blasted away by the latter's booby trap bomb. Before Crossbones could finish off Deadpool, he gets sucker-punched by someone. It's Ellie Camacho, the daughter of Deadpool! Ellie has a sweet reunion with her father for a moment and she fetches Deadpool's legs which were separated from the explosion. Since Deadpool could not kill him in front of his daughter, he throws Crossbones into the portal which teleports him into the swamp. As they have a father-and-daughter reunion, Deadpool finds out that Ellie Camacho is a mutant when she heals herself from a scratch. Upon learning that she has same powers as him (but still learning), Deadpool is so overjoyed that he passes out.

Later on, Deadpool wakes up in the room where he is surrounded with Doug Siravanta, Ellie Camacho, Princess the Symbiote Hyena and Taskmaster. Since Ellie has a healing factor, Deadpool realizes that his daughter has to be prepared for being a mutant which means Ellie has to get into a real world of fighting and defending herself. Though Deadpool is conflicted over the fact that Ellie is still a child. Deadpool tucks Ellie in for the night while others take rest. Hours later, Ellie wakes up in a makeshift bed and finds Taskmaster standing over her, ready to give her a wake-up call with harsh training lesson.

After doing some mercenary work, Ellie Camacho and Princess the symbiote dog take a break at the hideout. Ellie wants to learn some magic to avenge her father who had been killed by Death Grip the evil mercenary mage. However, learning magic is not easy as she cannot find the right resource (and contacting Doctor Strange is out of the question since he is no longer a Sorcerer Supreme). Taskmaster, Ellie Camacho, Doug Siravanta and Princess discuss on what they could do with Deadpool's corpse before it starts to rot. Ellie wants to hunt down the killer to avenge her father but Taskmaster points out that they don't have any suitable powerful weapons as they are short of cash. Thus, Ellie Camacho and Princess have to seek out for Chemocorp to look for a scientist who is claimed to have the resources in bringing back Deadpool with science. Then, Ellie and Princess break into the Chemocorps building where they fight off the bespectacled man and his clones. After fighting the clones off, Princess helps Ellie to track down the scientist by going into the lift. Upon stepping out of the lift, they see the scientist who happens to be Valentine Vuong the former partner of Deadpool.

And apparently, Deadpool had broke up with Valentine Vuong offpanel for some unknown reason. Maybe it's something to do with the new writer (Cody Ziglar) not caring about them.

Ellie Camacho, Princess the Symbiote dog and Taskmaster do their mercenary job while Deadpool watches them through the screens in the hideout. Since his unfortunate encounter with Death Grip, Deadpool is badly-wounded and is missing two of his limbs as he lost his healing factor. However, as Ellie was away fighting criminals alongside Princess, Deadpool was left all alone in his home, allowing Death Grip to ambush him. Deadpool attempts to fight him, but due to being unable to regenerate himself, he was left at Death Grip's mercy, and soon his life-force was drained, seemingly killing him. Once Death Grip leaves the room, poor Deadpool is left lying on the floor, slowly dying and thinking about Ellie.

I have mixed feelings about his death. Although it's heartbreaking when he thinks about Ellie in this death scene, I still have a feeling that Deadpool might come back from the dead in a few issues later since he's an A-List character. Also, Deadpool is still appearing in other comics under different writers.

Ellie Camacho has a training session with Taskmaster. During the training; Ellie learns that not only she has regenerative healing factor like her father (but still learning), she also has enhanced agility and super-strength.

The battle may be over but it came with a great cost. Since Ellie Camacho is badly injured and dying, Valentine Vuong and Princess the Symbiote hyena/dog rush to the headquarters for an emergency. Taskmaster gets upset about two things - Ellie endangering herself and for Valentine barging into his headquarters without his permission. Valentine Vuong has to work fast in helping both Ellie and Deadpool by doing a combination of the blood transfusion and the resurrection magic ritual since they used to be The Horned Emperor. As Ellie Camacho "dies" during the ritual, she sees her mother in her dying dream. Ellie briefly reunites with her mother until she was forced to go back to the Land of Living because it's not her time yet. Deadpool wakes up from the dead and sees his friends except for Ellie who is still dead/unconscious in the magic circle. Thinking that Ellie is dead, Deadpool hugs and cries for her until she wakes up. Everyone are glad to see Ellie and Deadpool are alive and well together. Deadpool reconciles with Valentine about the relationship and he thanks them for bringing him and Ellie back. Though not everything is a happy ending when the newly-revived Deadpool has to deal with the heap of backlog documents from Taskmaster. Later on, as Deadpool, Taskmaster, Doug Siravanta, Princess and Ellie watch the slideshows together, Ellie sees the ghost of her late mother at the doorway.
