"Not usually," You hum, "Logan handed it to me this morning and told me to do something with it- I'm assuming that was his not-so-subtle way of telling me he can hear me struggling with my jeans in the morning."

She snorted, "Not like I want to give him credit, but he probably didn't notice. Or he's too distracted by your boobs. He probably just knows there's stuff you want to buy and haven't yet."

"Probably," you take the bag and your change, "I just don't even know where to start."

"Not telling your mother," she recommended, pulling you towards a stand that sold smoothies. "God I'm thirsty, my treat. Can't let you get scurvy or something."

"As long as it doesn't have bananas in it," you say, crinkling your nose. "Ugh."

"I told Wade NOT to bring the banana bread," she laughed, "I don't think he really believed that you were gonna puke."

"Well- he found out." You lean your head on her shoulder and look at the menu, "The peach one sounds good."

"And hopefully won't make you puke."

"Peaches are fine. As long as they aren't canned."

Logan let himself into your apartment cautiously. Feeling better now that he was clean and in clean clothes. Construction was hot, dirty work, but it paid. And that was important.

There were some new baby things, carefully put away in the corner where you'd been putting them until you could organize it all and he could smell something beef based and savory cooking in your crockpot. But it was quiet.

It made him feel weird as he walked across the floor.

But then he peered over the sofa and smiled a little. You were snuggled into a blanket and asleep. Trigger eyed him warily and Logan pressed a finger to his lips as he walked around the sofa and knelt to kiss the side of your head. "Hey, Princess," he murmured, stroking your arm.

"Hm?"

"Tired today, huh?"

"Wasn't even trying to go to sleep. Just settled down to watch a show," you tell him, yawning. "Was waiting to hear back on some stuff."

He smiled a little and stroked your hair, "Must've needed the sleep, just didn't want to scare you poking around in the kitchen."

"It's beef stew. There's bread in the oven and I made brownies," you hum, stretching.

"No wonder you needed a nap," he chuckled.

"Brownies just sounded good. And it's cold out today. Figured you were tired of Wade's chicken experiments and would probably want something hot."

"Thanks, sweetheart," he said, feeling himself blush. You thought about him? He didn't think you poisoned it either. "Kid's got a sweet tooth, huh?"

"At least I know they like brownies. And not banana anything."

Logan snorted, "I owe them a pony on their 5th birthday for making you throw up on Wade when he shoved that bread in your face."

"I couldn't even stop it-"

"Better than it comin' out your nose. And I bet he won't just shove shit in your face again."

"There is that." You sit up slowly and rub your eyes, "If you gimme a second I'll make some plates and-"

"Just stay there," Logan said, "I'll get it. Do you want water or-"

"Ice tea, please."

"And a brownie."

"Or like 2. Two is good."

Is Harry Suing the UK to Hide Truth of Visa and Security?

Let’s talk about a few things going on in the Royal News World, Shall We?

This mouse isn’t completely sure of coming back entirely, but I figured a post here and there would be fine. Let’s get started.

My people come bearing some insights: Just about everyone in the aristocracy is openly aware that Harry isn’t truly cut off. As a matter of fact, some believe that Harry is only in the US because Charles sent him here and he is in fact on an A1 visa. Not so much as a banishment, but as a way to play both sides of the media circus and keep them all relevant. The whole world tunes in every time something pops up.

What brings more clickbait? Ask yourself the hard questions, though, don’t take the easy route. I’ve seen some things going around, and I see people truly never ask the hard questions.

I pray for the day when everyone wakes up and realizes that being elderly doesn’t make you harmless or innocent. This author was told the same things about Harry not being told about the diagnosis for the cancer until we all heard, BUT BEFORE. Interesting that ever got leaked out in the press, isn’t it? Why even tell us when he got told? Harry probably leaked it and did it to make Charles look favorable. Do you think Charles would let it get leaked? To what end? To look like the loving, yet firm father everyone demands him to be, the man that he cannot. The man he is not.

And now there are articles coming out about the contingency plans for Charles being sick. Harry is not in them, at all. Why would he need to be? Doesn’t that say a lot? The fact people have to be told Harry isn't included is silly. But you know what they say about assumptions.

Now, I was told by a friend that’s a doctor the whole story of the cancer being found during the prostate stuff made no sense. They would’ve seen other indicators beforehand. They ARE the greatest medical professionals on the planet, aren’t they? You mean a PET scan or blood test or anything like that, at all, wouldn’t hint at the other problems? This was a choreographed release of information.

It's being suggested that the press will be informed to release a cascade of tidbits over the coming weeks. Lady C said early spring, before summer. She also said it was Princess Anne who made the “racist baby” comments, and that was also a ruse. I’m pretty sure Lady C picked Team Charles back in the 80s, and she’s been working to gain grace and favor since. I think she wants to seem like she knows things to sell books or views. Go, girl, get that paper.

Speaking of paper, it was suggested one of the main reasons Charles was so upset with Harry when he “rushed right over” was because he asked for more money. Anyone could assume that but think about what he did immediately afterwards. He went over there only to have something to give an interview for. He got paid to “not squeal” on an interview. The Sussexes don’t lift a finger for free… they only lift them for freebies. Or money.

If Harry is here on an A1 Visa as a favor between Charles and the US, that means we are paying for that security in America. No wonder Harry is suing the UK, he needs to make it look like he needs something when he already has it. How would they possibly have the money to pay for their own? I posted the mortgage documents, remember. Do the math. They have 10 years to pay that house off in full before they get a 7.48% interest rate. They have upkeep, services, servants, nannies, clothes, utilities, maintenance that must be maintained or the bank could come in and do it themselves… Those things aren’t cheap. You have to have a faucet of money coming in to handle it all. They don’t even have a drip.

Oh, and I was told to really look at Harry’s page on the Royal website. And that the minute Wills gets that crown, his brother will be done for. Which is why Charles could be trying to be a father instead of a king in that situation. Then again, if Wills had hard feelings for both Charles and Harry, and Charles had a jealousy over Wills and the Queen… that’s a lot of ifs

One this is for sure. Harry will NEVER return to the BRF in a working capacity. Everything is a dance of smoke and mirrors.

It makes total sense to have Harry here on an A1 visa, have him in constant litigation with the UK so we peons think he needs security, but in reality he is here on a visa supplying him the protection he thinks he deserves. Of course, an FOIA would need to be filed, probably… I wonder if I could do that and see how he is really here. I don’t believe he is here on an O1 or spousal visa.

What is the real reason for all of this, people? It's just Flying Pasta, like before.

An interesting titbits I remembered about royals and gifts.

According to Wendy Williams' book The Housekeepers Diary (the housekeeper at Highgrove when Charles and Diana were married), C+D used to recieve lots of gifts every week on their engagements, and via mail. They never kept anything, no matter the value. And would burn heaps and piles of gifts in their back garden every week. Just set fire to it. The housekeeper and some staff saw that as wasteful and entitled of the Prince and Princess, like they did not understand or care about how much money they were literally burning and wished the staff wpuld have been given the option of keeping things they liked. But both Charles and Diana were adamant, they did not keep anything. The official gifts would be logged and kept at BP. The housekeeper says that she saw this as hypocritical as Charles fancied himself as an environmentalist.

(I see the point about not keeping the gifts. It was moral clause that they enforced upon themselves)

Now, Harry and Meghan, according to the various books written about them, not only recieved gifts but Meghan actually solicited them. She would have her royal staff write to companies and offer an endorsement in return for freebies. She would get lots of things - makeup, clothes, high-end stuff, perfume, jewellery. She kept everything! If she ever got multiples or hampers, she would keep certain items and give the rest to her staff as a gift which they were expected to be vocally grateful for. Apparently, she once got a makeup set, a box that has a couple of lipsticks and moistiriyand lipbalms etc. She gave it to hsomone on her senior staff but kept a red lipstick and/or lipbalm from it. The lady in question was very offended. Meghan asking for and keeping gifts was a huge problem and was somehow one of the reasons she fired Melissa toubati (because Melissa repeatedly told her this was unethical and refused a gift from a company on Meghan's behalf).

I think Harry talked about Meghan asking for gifts in Spare.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thank u circular 4 ur boon of kindness. it is appreciated. apologies for the wait, as i had to let the ideas for this ripen be4 properly answering. i’m gonna start the first ask off with gothi from ep.10.

first of all, i just love her mask and am permanently sad that she never gets to wear it again. bonus for foreshadowing face reveal a few episodes down the line and making her an incredibly ominous cryptid like presence kind of. i just think she’s neat. next is erina in ep.32:

honestly i was really tempted to use a frame from when she was xanu possessed cuz it looked real fuckin cool, but i think this one’s more meaningful. she’s sympathizing with sips for once instead of trying to one up him (at least after a bit) and realizing how tough shit must’ve been for him. agh they make me insane. next is sips from ep.15:

from right after he ate bou claire’s heart. the buildup narration to him looking into the mirror is, ,, agghhh. the fact this was used to promo merch is funny also.

now for q. 25: technically, my first impression of gothi was her getting sips to do karaoke while drunk (lol) and that being the catalyst for EVERYTHING (this campaign is the equivalent of a snowball rolling down a hill). but now, it was her kind of managing and trying to quell sips’ anger best she could along with erina.

erina was just a memelord to me lol. sips wasn’t in the best condition the first few episodes, so my first impression was just that he was a bottomless pit of rage. now looking at the early episodes feels like looking at alpha minecraft in comparison to 1.21, especially without xanu or abby. sneeze was just a little guy.

ok freebie question time. i’m gonna pick q. 22 even tho there hasn’t been a new fic at all on ao3 since i updated my own fic (which makes sense considering we’ve kinda already met the goal of the series even if there’s a lot of stuff on the horizon). and i’ll pick all 3 of them + xanu for this cuz. why not

sips: a lot of the fics on ao3 4 this fandom are oneshots, so there isn’t much they’re able to explore if they’re low word counts, but my dream sips-centric fic would be like. a collection of missed/deleted scenes from his early life and time in ammurin with a kind of dream/void/death motif. bonus points if he’s trans

erina: i haven’t seen ANYTHING about her early life in kylandria being the child of busy royal entertainers, hell even her weapons are like a carnival trick, so i’d really like to see a bit of early life stuff again. are you sensing a trend. also her just dealing with royalty is fun and i have many ideas

gothi: early life again. listen she was a whole ass princess who was allowed to exist only because of her rank she was under so much pressure all of the time, especially with being buddies with xanu. did she ever talk to another defective foreclaimer. who are her parents. did they love her. ugh. also, seeing her interact with vicky is something i haven’t really seen before, so that’d be fun.

xanu: listen. i feel like he’d be the hermit on the high mountain type never interacting with anyone like thanos after killing half the universe. also, i feel like a lot of aspects of his character get discarded in favor of making him easier to digest and write, which i’ve done, and this does not do him any service. i think making all the fools gold cast kind of,, mlp headcanon designified is also fun and i want to do it. also bonus vicky

today on Grailfinders we’re building the proud queen of Palmyra, Zenobia! she’s a Psi Warrior Fighter to keep a couple ballistae on your shoulders at all times, as well as a Zealot Barbarian to make them shoot lasers! and also so you can fight in literally almost nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all…

Ancestry & Background

Zenobia’s a human, specifically a Palmyrene (yes I did have to look that up), but it seems the only thing FGO really knows or cares about her history is the siege and the sadomasochism, so we’re going to make her a little Stensian to help toughen her up. she’s under siege by romans, they’re under siege by vampires, it’s practically the same thing tbh. she gets +1 Strength and Charisma, as well as a Daunting presence for free proficiency in Intimidation. yes… that’s why she’s dressed like that. of course. she’s also Tough, so she gets a free +2 bonus HP per level!

you’re also a noble, so that’s some proficiency in history and persuasion! history’s always a freebie for servants, and good golly can you be persuasive! or maybe just distracting?

ability scores

your highest score is gonna be constitution, you got a guts, your whole schtick is how ya like not quittin, it just makes sense. after that is dexterity- you can wear heavy armor, but your whole thing is not doing that. also, even though you use a sword most of the time people might want a lil archery in their archer build. third up is strength, bc we need it for multiclassig and also bc you smack people around with a sword most of the time. your charisma is also pr good, bc again, distracting. that means your intelligence is a lil low, i know royals probably had tutors and all that, but it’s not needed for the build. that means we’re dumping wisdom! do I really need to explain why fighting people while chained up is an unwise decision? (also you straight up slept through a combat encounter? wild.)

class levels

1. Fighter 1: okay, we know zenny doesn’t use her heavy armor that often, but it’s still something she can do, so we need to start as a fighter to make it happen. speaking of stuff we can do, unarmed fighting! it’s a fighting style that’ll make your punches and kicks do up to a d8 of damage! you actually don’t use your sword all that often, it’s kind of weird…

you can also spend a bonus action to heal with a second wind once a short rest! healing helps you not die, and not dying helps you win a siege! basic maths.

you get proficiency with Strength and Constitution saves, plus Acrobatics and Insight to tell whether or not this weird princess idol can be trusted.

2. Barbarian 1: okay, enough of that nonsense, we need to get naked, now. thankfully, with Unarmored Defense you can do that without turning it into a death sentence by adding your constitution to your AC. furthermore, you can Rage once you’ve psyched yourself up enough to deal extra damage with strength-based attacks, have advantage on strength saves and checks, and you resist physical damage for up to a minute as long as you aren’t wearing heavy armor and keep fighting.

3. Fighter 2: okay, now that we’re nakie, let’s get back to getting those shoulder-mounted guns! at second level, a fighter can action surge for a second action in a single turn once a short rest! that’s like, twice as many attacks as before!

4. fighter 3: a level three you finally become a psi warrior, so now you can float up some crossbows to keep on hand! these shots are represented by psionic dice- you get two times your proficiency bonus in psi dice per day, and you can also recharge one die per short rest. you can use these in three ways- you can spend them on a protective field to further reduce damage, or you can float an object with telekinetic movement. for the latter, the first time is free, so just don’t let your crossbows fall and you’re good! mechanically it’s a lot less of a headache to just say they’re there, and add extra damage with psionic strikes, dealing a psionic die of damage to someone you’ve attacked this turn. it says this has to be immediately after you attack, but I’d let you walk away first, really get that “samurai slices up an enemy and sheathes her sword” vibe goin.

5. barbarian 2: at level two a barbarian can make reckless attacks, giving yourself advantage on all melee attacks for a round, at the cost of everyone else having advantage on attacks against you. thank goodness u also have danger sense, giving yourself advantage on dex saves against stuff you can see! wait, those two don’t cancel out at all! at least you have a ton of health!

6. barbarian 3: at level three you gain primal knowledge, making you proficient with perception! you gotta be able to see stuff to shoot it, after all. also you’re a zealot now.

thanks to your subclass, you have some divine fury you can toss on your attacks, dealing an extra bit of radiant damage on the first hit you land each turn. boom, laser crossbows.

you’re also a warrior of the gods, so you can be revived for free. we’ll get a guts later, but if you need a revive you need a revive.

7. barbarian 4: first asi! bump up your strength to punch stuff deader.

8. barbarian 5: at fifth level barbarians get an extra attack each action for up to four attacks in one turn with your action surge. some times you just gotta beat people into the ground, i get it.

you also have fast movement, increasing your speed by 10’ while not wearing heavy armor. yeah your np looks cool, but you’d probably have a much harder time doing spinkicks while wearing it.

9. barbarian 6; sixth level zealots have a fanatical foucus that lets you reroll failed saves while raging once per rage. roman emperors are known for trying wisdom save bullshit, so don’t let them get all buddy-buddy with you.

10. barbarian 7: seventh level barbarians have a regal/ feral instinct for danger, giving you advantage on initiative rolls, plus you can ignore being surprised by going full queen mode turn one. you got ambushed by like 40 guys that one time and still got to go first, remember?

11. barbarian 8: another asi, so bump up your strength again to hit more gooder.

12. barbarian 9: at level nine you have some brutal criticals, adding another die of damage to your critical hits! so now on a critical punch you can get 3d8+7 bludgeoning + 2d6+4 radiant + 2d6 force damage in one critical combo, between your fist, your laser crossbow, and your regular one. turns out shoving like three different attacks into one blow is good for damage!

13. barbarian 10: now that we have your combo game down pat, let’s get a skill- with fanatical focus you finally have yourself a charisma, using your bonus action to give up to ten other creatures advantage on all attacks and save for a round once a day. the cooldown’s rough but with the right army behind you, you can end a day’s combat right then and there.

you also get more primal knowledge for some athletics proficiency. obviously zenny’s proud of her abs, just look at her outfits!

14. barbarian 11: eleventh level barbers get their first guts in relentless rage- if you’d drop to 0 hp while raging, you can make a constitution save to try and stay up instead. the first time’s a dc 10, and then it goes up by five every time after until you finish a short rest. it’s not quite siege material, but it’ll definitely help in a battle!

15. barbarian 12: another asi means another chance to- surprise tough feat! that’s right, the thing from the start of the build wasn’t a feat! it was just something stensians can do! with the tough feat added that’s another +2 hp each level, and it’s retroactive, so you get 30 bonus HP right now!!!!

16. barbarian 13: this level’s easy, just another bit of brutal critical-ing for a second extra die.

17. barbarian 14: as a fourteenth level zealot you can now siege like nobody’s ever sieged before, since you can rage beyond death! with this, dropping to 0 hp won’t knock you out while you’re raging. you still have to make death saves like usual, but that won’t take effect until you finish raging- and even then, getting any kind of heal will keep you alive!

of course you still need to stay raging, so this won’t be much good after a fight.

18. barbarian 15: just kidding! with persistent rage you can keep your rage going right up to the minute mark through sheer force of will! now you’ve five minutes a day where you literally cannot die unless you will it.

19. barbarian 16: you get one last asi, and we’re putting it in charisma. tbh it’s been kind of low this whole build, but we didn’t really have a chance to punch it up until now since we had to get your other stuff.

20. barbarian 17: another brutal critical die! it’s a bit anti-climactic, but you also get a sixth rage each day, that’s cool!

Pros & Cons

Pros:

you basically cannot die. you’ve got just shy of 300 HP, rage resistances, six minutes of “I literally cannot die” time, and you’ve got a proficiency on your save to avoid death a couple times even before that. you are 100% equipped to deal with a siege, no bones about it.

you only attack a few times a turn, but you’re built to deal big damage in single attacks, really banking on that increased chance to crit from reckless attacks. barbarians don’t usually put big damage numbers on the board, but you can defy stereotypes.

while you’re definitely not built for it, you can make ranged attacks if you need to. you know how so many of our builds list flying as a big pro? its because people don’t do this.

Cons:

your AC is bad even before we start giving people free advantage, and your rage doesn’t cover anything other than physical damage, so you could burn through that health faster than you’d like in magic-heavy encounters.

you’re also bad with your soft stats, which is mostly just awkward but it does also hamper your damage from psionic crossbow.

you don’t have much to do aside from hit stuff in a fight. don’t get me wrong hitting stuff is like 90% of a fight, but other builds have more options on how to deliver it. your two extra features are “everyone else hits stuff better”, and “I hit stuff a little bit more this turn”. not exactly Zhuge Liang here.

Kind of WMMAP AU x Harvest Moon AU?

Your name is Claire, and you're a farmer living in Bluebell Village. You just finished the quest of making 'Riverside Cottage' at the edge of the village because you take it upon yourself to rebuild the village and make it prosper again because why not.

Soon enough two people move in from faraway lands, they're called "Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Athy", with their dog Sir Nox! They're newlyweds with extraordinary beauty! You've never seen anyone as beautiful as Mrs. Athy before.

Her name reminds you of the missing Obelian Princess, Princess Athanasia though. But why would a Princess be stranded here in a remote village in Arlanta Borders?

They moved in your newly build Riverside Cottage, and Mrs. Athy became Bluebell's new florist, and Mr. Lucas is an alchemist! You want to befriend them for new recipes and blueprints and freebies. Let's make a list of what they like!

Mrs. Athy is born in Winter 3rd, she's kind, delicate, beautiful, and very knowledgeable! She's like a walking dictionary. She's a little shy at first, but will quickly warm up to us. As our florist she can be found on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 9 - 5 PM in her glasshouse near the Square. Other than those times she's usually in the Town Library, teaching village's children or Dawn Cafe. After 6 PM, she's in her house.

Favorite Flowers: all colors of Roses and Rose Bouquets, Lily and Lily Bouquets.

Favorite Food: Chocolate Cake.

Worst Gift: Octopus and any kind of food with octopus.

Gifts obtained from Mrs. Athy:

Rainbow Rose Seeds, Chocolate Curry Recipe, Farmer Princess Outfit, Palace Interior Design.

Her husband, Mr. Lucas is the polar opposite of Mrs. Athy! He's often rude and aloof, and grouchy in the mornings. He's your village's alchemist and you can buy Animal Potions, Stamina Potions, Crop Enhancers and stuff! He will also sell gemstones and tool blueprints if you befriended him (or if you bring Mrs. Athy with you). His birthday is in Winter 25th.

He can be found in Mrs. Athy's greenhouse (they share shop space, romantic!) during her working hours, other than that usually he's in his home, working on his potions (you can't visit or give him gifts at this time). After 6PM he's in his house.

Favorite Flowers: Red Roses, Chrysanthemums, Carnations, Poppies. (He dislikes Bouquets)

Favorite Food: Chocolate Curry.

Worst Gift: 90% of vegetable dishes, Eggplant, Carrot.

Gifts obtained from Mr. Lucas:

Gold Animal Potion (gifted once, can buy in his shop after. To make any animal produce Golden goods), Coffee Tree Seeds (gifted once, can be bought in his shop after), Witch Outfit, Magician's Den Interior Design.
