The amount of happiness I get from PoGD is crazy. I love it and I did not realize I would get this wttached this quickly. The amount of FEELINGS it makes me feel as someone who wants to be male so bad is crazy. Now i'd be lying if I said that my own dysphoria didn't influence the piece I drew, and it's not exactly my best work, but I hope it's enjoyable either way.

Judge doesn’t smile, but he has all the fun in the world when he frowns with disgust at his son. Son. “A true love kiss.” — Usopp smells like wild berries, daisies, and wood. Like ancient books, fire, and dirt. Like chemicals, poison, and deadly flowers. Like sunlight, wet grass, and thousands of thousands of songs Sanji hasn’t been able to hear. It is impossible to know what a song smells like, but she is quite sure they all have the scent of that music box Usopp made for her. She always brings gifts whenever she comes. It makes the princess feel less trapped and more… It wouldn’t be more, since she isn’t even a bit free. But it makes her feel free. Liberation, that’s what she smells like. Freedom.

Out of curiosity, which traveler did you pick? I picked Lumine, then the fanart of Aether got to me so I legit started over to be Aether—both the twins are beautiful and amazing tho, so I’m curious :)

aether!! lumine is very pretty but 1st of all i really prefer her as the abyss princess, and also it's kind of easier to keep up since in the promotional timeline aether is the traveler

marco: is visibly uncomfortable with their body, has several magical beings refer to them in the feminine, is a rebel princess icon of individuality with a scene paralleling how them being trans would affect trans youth. star crew: follows theory closely, puts trans marco art up on the fanart wall, constantly saying they want to put more lgbt rep in the show, made an entire episode explaining dysphoria y'all: no evidence

Dysphoria does not always have to do with gender, keeping up the image might be a practical move (it brings money), being reffered to as feminine is a mishap of sorts, the show might lose its market in more heteronormative places (same-sex kisses from Just Friends are already controversial), and in the end, it’s always executives who have the last world.

As someone who grew up on a farm type of thing, feeling more connected to the animals and masculine things with everyone telling me i’d grow up to care about more feminine things and that i was “pretty” - i’ve never felt so connected to applejack before. This depiction of AJ made me feel seen in an odd way. I’ve never truly realized and processed my view of my gender. i always joked of feeling more monster than man, more creature than human. but i thought that was just aesthetics. I never truly realized I wanted to be an actual monster. I know how there’s that trans shapeshifter joke but I really have always been serious about it. I want to transform into something unrecognizable, so far from my current body that i’m no longer that “pretty girl”. like turn me into viscera because i’ll feel more at home as a flesh pile than a human. I want to be masculine but not a man. I want to have claws and sharp teeth, black eyes and long ears, i want a snout and tail. I should’ve been a monster, dear lord. because even as I child I made the noises of an animal before i thought to use my words. I belonged in the animal pen with the rest of my kind back on that farm.
