Alise and Lucas in Their Childhood
I rewatched Swan Princess: Royally Undercover yesterday, and I now realize how much of Alise and Lucas's friendship was them just straight-up roasting/sassing/being competitive with each other. Here's one of my favorites from the movie:
*when they're heading through the forest to get to Borromeo and trying to escape Bruno [Count Antonio's, like, right-hand man (get it, lol? because he doesn't have a full right hand??)]*
Alise: Are you sure we're headed South?
Lucas: Trust me. I grew up in the forest.
Alise, smug: Well, you're not the only one, you know.
Lucas: Then you should now that moss only grows on the north side of the tree. (He points here.) So that's south. Looks like someone's got some serious spy skills.
Alise, walking past, totally calm: Yeah. Too bad that's poison moss.
Lucas, panicking: Ah! Get it off! Get it off!
(Exact script from ttps://transcripts.foreverdreaming.org/viewtopic.php?t=56389 )
Like, dude just got poison moss on his hand and Alise did not GAF. She helped him with her plant knowledge (didn't know she had that) in the next scene, but she totally won here lol.
Anyone else have some favorite Alise/Lucas moments? Bonus points if the moment is from when they were kids!

The Swan Princess movies from Derek’s point of view.
I found this in my Procreate archive, I was planning to do one for all the films (there are 12 of them) but I don’t think I’ll be able to finish those… But there would have been titles like ”Derek gets sentenced to death by a bunch of superstitious squirrels”, ”Derek almost suffocates in a submarine” and ”Derek gets finally called out for his bullshit in the first movie”.

Sleepless Days, Endless Nights
Alise can't sleep. Not with the world on her shoulders.
Good thing Lucas is there to lighten the load.
For my favorite beta and friend forever, @wide-awakeprincessfan Love you!
---
“Is something wrong?”
“No.”
“... are you sure?”
“No.”
“‘No,’ like you’re not sure if something is wrong, or ‘no,’ like there’s nothing wrong?”
“The second one.”
Lucas is quiet for a moment, still following behind like a lost puppy. “Something’s wrong,” he decides.
“If you say so.”
“Alise!” A warm hand wraps around Alise’s wrist, holding her back, and she freezes. But she looks ahead stubbornly, refusing to waste effort on this.
“What?” she asks, voice chilly.
The hand releases her arm. “Sorry, I just… I’m worried. What’s wrong?”
This is going to be a conversation, isn’t it?
“I’m fine,” Alise promises, spinning to face Lucas. “I swear, I’m fine.”
Lucas chews his lip, folding his arms. “Are…? I’m sorry, I don’t mean to nag, but… ‘Lise, you’re running yourself ragged. I want to make sure you’re okay.”
And Alise sighs, because she can’t deny the sad eyes or the scared voice. She takes Lucas’s hands in hers. “I’m…” She shakes her head. “No. I’m not. Or… I don’t think I am.”
Gently, Lucas guides her over to a bench. “Can we sit?” And then, when she hesitates- “Please, let’s just sit, okay? Just for a minute.”
Begrudgingly, Alise sits down with him. Lucas takes a moment, watching her with such genuine concern that she almost feels guilty. Then he pushes the hair from her eyes and runs the back of his hand down her cheek.
“It’s been three days,” Lucas says, tone softer, voice hushed. “You haven’t slept. You’ve barely eaten. I don’t think you’ve stopped since your parents left for Nolia.”
“It’s far,” Alise says. “I’m just worried about them.”
Lucas smiles weakly. “No. If that were true, you wouldn’t be falling asleep sitting up.”
Alise has to kick her feet, trying to snap herself awake. She’s drifting, and she can’t afford it right now.
“That’s all. I swear.”
Alise wishes Lucas would stop smiling. He can read her so well. He almost reads her better than she can read herself. And he’s so smug about it too. It’d be infuriating if he wasn’t so dang sweet.
“‘Lise, I know this is a lot of pressure.” Lucas squeezes her hand reassuringly. “Running a whole kingdom? That’s… You know I don’t get the royal stuff. I don’t know how any of this works. You’re so… You’re so smart, just to understand what the job is, much less do it.”
“Smart is not the word I’d use.” She feels so very not smart right now.
But Lucas looks at her like she hung the moon and dusted each star with light. “No. But it’s the word I’d use.”
Alise laughs bitterly. “Doesn’t feel that way. I… I feel like everything I do - every choice I make - is the wrong one. Someone always hates the outcome. I just… I need to do this right. I need to do this like my parents do. Why do they…? How do they make it look so easy?”
“Hey.” Lucas puts a cautious arm around her. “You’re only one person. No matter what you do, someone is always going to be upset. The important thing is that you do what’s best for everyone.”
“How do I know? How do I know what’s best? I’ve studied all this, but it’s so different when I’m actually doing things. When my choices matter.”
Lucas squeezes her shoulder, drawing her closer. “That’s what Rogers is for, right?” A soft laugh shakes his shoulders. “Really, Alise. Your parents will be proud when they see how well you’ve done. But they’ll be gone for a month. You can’t go a month without sleep.”
“You lack ambition,” Alise argues teasingly. “I will sleep when my parents are back.”
But she’s already slipping. She can feel fatigue pull at her limbs and eyelids. Her head drifts to Lucas’s shoulder, and she melts into his side.
“Lucas?”
“Hm?”
Alise sighs. “I… I think I’ll get that sleep now.”
Lucas smiles. “Best choice you made all day.”
But she doesn’t hear him. She’s already dead to the world.

I've heard a lot of times that hotd is unfair to greens and makes us sympathize with blacks. And yes, the first season obviously chooses Rhaenyra's family as protagonists. But what if in the next seasons the creators make antagonists from the protagonists and vice versa? Is is complicated and amazing plot thing.
So we will spend more time with greens and we will empathize with Alicent, Helaena, Aegon, Daeron, Aemond. We will see Blood and Cheese story. We will start to hate Rhaenyra and Daemon (as it will be possible). And then Aemond's words to Daemon will have even more sense for us: "You have lived too long".
Well, I'm not actually in green team, I just love good stories. Again, it is complicated and it would be hurt for us. But omg it would be great, and the end would be bittersweet (maybe without -sweet part at all but come on we are in Westeros).

Hello, do you think that the fact that D&D gave the young Griff/aegon VI plot For Jon Snow, is this an indication that young Griff is not a Blackfyre but really the son of princess elia martell?
Hello there, anon. You could also make the argument that as someone who hired the Pyrite Golden Company to fight for her cause for the Iron Throne, that Cersei might also have gotten some of Aegon VI’s plot line. I think Aegon’s non-inclusion was because D&D wasn’t sure why he was in the story, (especially since he’s only in a few chapters of the last published book, so D&D couldn’t really adapt the source material) because, as they said, “themes are for 8th grade book reports”. D&D often omitted (Arianne and Quentyn Martell, Jeyne Poole, Lady Stoneheart), dumbed down (Varys, Littlefinger, Xaro Xhoan Daxos, Septon Meribald, Ygritte), or combined characters (Aliser Thorne, the Umbers and Karstarks, Sansa’s S5 plot, Ellaria Sand for the older Sand Snakes) without regard for character development or narrative significance. This doesn’t mean Aegon isn’t Elia’s son; in fact, the show (and especially the spin-off show, House of the Dragon) embraced the idea that Trgaryens (really Jon and Dány) were special due to their bloodline, which is a common criticism against the theory of Aegon not being a Târgaryen (having a better blood claim doesn’t mean that person is fit to rule); remember, in the scene where Gilly reveals that Rhaegar and Lyanna were legally married, she doesn’t even mention Elia’s name or that of her children, to make Jon’s claim and name “Aegon” (the main name for Tárg kings) that much more ✨ special ✨. In addition, the later seasons of GOT paid more attention to the Lannisters and their dysfunctional dynamic—to the point that Tyrion and Cersei are having cordial conversations by the end of S7–and D&D wanted to keep Cersei as the villain as long as possible (no matter how contrived it got, like the KL smallfolk accepting a queen who just burned down their main holy shrine) because Lena was one of the show’s best actresses, so they had her be the one for Dány to attack rather than Aegon. Then there was also the repeated attempts to hide Dark!Dany (though it had been foreshadowed since S1 when she burned her slave alive), and destroying a surrendering city to try to kill her nephew rather than a stranger would’ve made the crime seem worse to the audience (although in the last episode they basically held our hand and told us exactly why she had to die after KL’s destruction). I wouldn’t use the show as evidence for or against Aegon Son of Elia, because the show lacked the understanding of why the character would be important. Thematically speaking, it would make the most sense bookwise for Aegon to be Elia’s son, as the Tárgs’ most dangerous enemies to their power tend to be other Tàrgs, as well as undermining the Tàrg Exceptionalism that shaped a lot of their personalities.

I got a quick question about Time Princess.
Has anyone got the new Alise in Wonderland book and is it as shit as I've heard some say?
So far I've heard that:
• there aren't even any 3D companions;
• it's a cash grab that has many outfits behind a pay wall;
• the plot is incoherent, basically released to get people to stop asking for Alice in Wonderland.

I'm currently watching The Swan Princess: Far Longer Than Forever, which is the 12th and last movie. This movie is absolutely terrible. The plot points, how convenient everything is, unnecessarily complex plans, etcetera drive me insane. To top it all off, there is no Alise or Lucas so far (or in the last twenty minutes of the movie, as I hear). I'm only watching this last movie for continuity's sake. If I didn't need to know what happened to King Max for my fanfics, I would have shut this off five minutes in. I'm ready to be done with it. It's fun to laugh at the stupidity of it all, though.

Evan meets her siblings in Camelot.
The second youngest is actually the most bitter about meeting her though.
Alise, Freida, Anthony, and Heidi are overjoyed to finally meet their "older" sister, but Moira, who looked the most like Evan growing up, is constantly being compared to her.
Derek and Odette held their memory of Evan in such high regard, neither of their daughters could have ever measured up.
I think she'd actually end up helping Rothbart once his spirit drags their family back to Storybrooke. She's upset and bitter, and she wants to get back at Evan for being the "perfect princess."
Once he gets what he needs from her Rothbart would betray her and she'll feel like she has no one to turn to. Even though Moira'd hurt and turned her back on her and the people who love her, Evan would help her. Call it an occupational hazard from spending so much time around the Heroes.
Then, after the day is saved, Moira would probably stay in Storybrooke for a while with her sister she's beginning to realize is just as human and flawed as she is.
