“They really thought crowds would show up to the royal wedding in Portugal, it was even televised, but no crowd outside at all. Perhaps with is why they are in good terms with the government because nobody takes then seriously so they are not a threat. Philippos and Nina’s wedding has way more spectators in Greece even though the family is practically at war with the Greek government.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Kleitos the Black
Art by TheAngelIncarnate on Instagram, for my story La Flèche d'Artémis !
He looks angry and tbh he is often angry! However, he's probably the character of the cast who is the most into caring for everyone else.
What we know about him is that is the brother of Lanike, Alexander's nurse, and that he had a brilliant career as a cavalry officer until Alexander killed him in a drunken quarrel. The quarrel reveals that Kleitos was loyal to Alexander's father Philip.
More below about Kleitos in my novel.
In Pressfield's The virtues of war, Kleitos is shown as Philip's eromenos and I really liked this idea, especially since Philip was older but not *that much* older.
In my story, Kleitos and Philippos were hostages in Thebai together, in the same house, with Kleitos looking up to the older prince. They later met again when Kleitos came to Pella as a royal page, in the last weeks of Perdikkas' reign. He followed the new regent of Makedonia as his royal page and they started a relationship in the dangerous first month when basically Everyone Wanted To Invade Macedonia. Their relationship was officially Philippos' longest time with one of his page, lasting for two years until he was discarded because of his age.
Very few people know that their relationship never stopped and, at forty and thirty five, they are still together, hiding because dating a grown man is not the best move for someone who wants a military career. They also ditched the eromenos/erastes thing a long time ago and define themselves as equals in the bedroom, though they are very secretive about this.
Because of his bond with Philippos, Kleitos' sister was selected to become Alexandros' nurse and Kleitos always played an important role as a mentor, like a surrogate uncle. He is usually the one Alexandros goes to when he needs to talk to a fatherly figure, since Alexandros and Philippos have a very complicated relationship; the teenager doesn't know about the long lasting love story between the two men until the end of the first book, and let's say that's a discovery that didn't go well.

BEATRICE IS THERE TOO?
JETSUN PEMA!
They're moving so fast and in a strange order so I didn't even notice Jetsun at first haha. Honestly Beatrice's attendance is both the most surprising and least surprising because I have absolutely no idea where she ever would have met Hussein or Rajwa, but at the same time she knows basically everyone and often pops up randomly at weddings (she was at Prince Amedeo's, Philippos and Nina's, the Bonaparte dude)

Hey, so I was thinking - why not tell you about one of my OCs who probably won’t show up anytime soon in any of my works ?
His name is Anaklusmos (yes, like the PJO sword) , and he was born a son of Poseidon and prince of Ancient Sparta
Through some (spoilers) godly intervention, specifically a boon for a heroic deed, he managed to achieve a semi-immortality, never really becoming a monster or a god, but never really dying either
So, the stories involving him follow him through the ages - through the Trojan War, where he pledged himself to one of the princes, to the reign of Alexander the Great, when he pledged himself to Philippos, his father.
And of course, onwards, from there, as he interacts with demigods and mortals across times and cities, until he finally makes it to modern day
Also he is gay and tmasc, but passes near-perfectly, because divine magic is a hell of a T-shot, if that influences your opinion
So, poll time !!

🇬🇷 🇩🇰 Happy 77th Birthday to Queen Anne-Marie of Greece!!!
30 August 1946
Queen Anne-Marie is the daughter of the late King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid of Denmark. The former Queen is also the wife of the late King Constantine II, the last king of Greece, youngest sister of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and aunt of King Felipe VI of Spain. She is the mother of five children, Princess Alexia, Crown Prince Pavlos, Prince Nikolas, Princess Theodora and Prince Philippos. Forced into exile by a military coup in 1967, Anne-Marie lived primarily in London with her husband and family.
In 2013, Constantine and Anne-Marie were finally allowed to live in Greece though denied citizenship, an issue the family is still fighting to remedy. Constantine passed away earlier this year. Her eldest son, Crown Prince Pavlos, is now the head of the Greek royal house. The Queen currently lives in Athens. Her two eldest sons, Pavlos and Nikolas, both reside in Greece with their families as well.
