And it didn't hurt that sometimes he could find the perks of the parties, one of which was catching his eye at the very moment, a blonde in a pretty dress that he didn't quite recognize despite her seeming familiar. He walked over to her and took her hand, bringing it to his lips and pressing a quick kiss before an easy smirk overtook his lips. "And to what do I owe the pleasure of such a beauty attending one of my little get togethers?" he teased, his accent thick as he spoke.

In the time they'd been married, despite the fact that Bailey consistently ground on Prince's nerves and pushed his limits in patience and understanding, he did his best to be kind to her. He knew it wasn't easy being forced to be in a relationship you hadn't asked for, after all, he was the other half of that situation. But he was tired of them constantly being at odds, which is why he'd made the suggestion he had in a rare moment of vulnerability, and though he'd never said so aloud, he was grateful she'd agreed. Her tongue grazing against his lips pulled a low growl from his chest as his lips parted and his tongue darted out to meet her own. When she pulled him forward, he didn't hesitate to press his body against hers, pinning her to the wall behind her as he deepened their kiss, the hand on her cheek moving to her neck and grasping a handful of her hair as he deepened their kiss even further. He hadn't been lying or trying to smooth talk her when he'd admitted he'd wanted to kiss her like he'd been kissing the woman in the bar, and it was an intoxicating experience all on its own; finally getting the opportunity to taste her lips and her tongue with his own.

since their marriage, they had fought a lot. mostly because of her behavior, but needless to say they hadn't had many moments they could really enjoy. it wasn't easy being so transparent with him, but he had been good to her from the beginning. not to mention the fact that she had been raised to essentially abandon any sort of emotions, so tapping into them and allowing him to see any sort of vulnerability was a challenge. the thumb brushing against her cheek aiding in softening her further. brows raising just for a moment between his words and the lips that found hers. there wasn't a bat of hesitation to return the kiss, her mouth moving softly against his as they both still naturally eased into it. her hands moved, shifting to brush against his chest and up to his shoulders as he pulled her against him. her tongue darted against his lips, before finding its way to massage against his own. a hand released his shoulder to drop and reach back to find the wall of the building before letting her back arch to lean back against the wall, pulling him with her.

okay number one toxic relationship fan here to give analysis on lifesteal kab after the recent kazam stream!!!

kab’s character is very used to using manipulation as a means to get what she wants. she honestly seems to think it’s the only way she can get people to help her. even if she tries to be more open and honest, she often falls back on manipulative behavior when she starts losing control of a situation. this makes it really hard for her to have healthy balanced conversations and relationships.

kab is also a character who’s highest priority right now is a ride or die teammate, especially in the form of zam. this is partially because of the pedestal she places him on. she clearly sees him as a role model and tries to mimic his behaviors. she’s honestly kind of imprinted on him lmfao

she wants to team with zam so badly, but he wants to be independent. she has tried to align her morals with his so that he is okay teaming with her, and then gets mad when he still won’t join her. because zam isn’t matching up with her idealized version of him, and what if it isn’t about the morals at all but about her.

she sees zam and mapiccs bond and she is SO jealous of it. she sees how devoted zam is to mapicc and spawn and why won’t anyone be that devoted to her?? sure this is lifesteal, where most people don’t care as openly as zam, but that just means he’s her only option.

that means that she needs to do anything to convince him to stay with her. kab sees zam pull away and so she desperately clings on to him in every way she knows. that is where the manipulation comes back in. all the ‘please don’t leave me!’ stuff.

unfortunately for kab, the pressure she places on zam is kind of what is driving them apart the most

Prince chuckled softly, his head shaking slightly. "It's more of an obligation that a birthday party I'm actually looking forward to." he admitted, often not one to share honestly, but something about being around her had started to change that. She'd wormed her way under his skin in a way no one had in a very long time. "But you being there would make it slightly more bearable." he continued, his lips forming the hint of a smile as he nodded. "So, come with me?" he asked, his accent thick on his tongue as he posed the question.

The entirety of this situation was foreign to Prince. First of all, he wasn't used to allowing someone to take care of him, let alone being honest and vulnerable. And putting himself out there with the chance for rejection? That was completely out of the question. Yet, here he was; standing in front of Nadia, being honest and giving her the chance to shoot him down. If she did he had no doubt he'd revert right back to his usual demeanor; hardened and cold and he'd probably never try again. While he didn't want to admit it, he really hoped that wasn't the case. He was trying to let her in and he hoped she did the same. The intensity of the kiss she rewarded him with was unexpected, but it only took him a brief second to respond, and his arms were instantly wrapped around her slim waist, pulling her flush against him as he returned her kiss with the same passion and intensity. Her hands on his body pulled a groan from his lips that got lost against her own. Prince's large hands moved to the hem of her soaking shirt and peeled it up over her head, pausing for a moment as he took in the sight of her, a slight shake of his head following. "Bloody gorgeous." he muttered, his eyes flashing back to hers before his lips were back on hers, his hands exploring the smooth wet skin he'd never previously had access to.

nadia could hardly believe what she was hearing. prince had always been so guarded, so untouchable. to hear him speak those words, to see the sincerity in his eyes, felt surreal. her heart pounded in her chest as she struggled to find her own voice. his touch was gentle, his thumb brushing her cheek, a stark contrast to the hardened exterior he usually presented. "prince," she whispered, her voice trembling despite her best efforts to steady it. the weight of his words settled over her, a mixture of fear and hope swirling in her mind. his honesty was both disarming and reassuring. the intensity in his gaze held her captive, and she realized that despite all the uncertainties, despite all the potential for pain, she wanted to take this risk with him too. with his lips so close to hers and his bare frame just waiting to be touched, she felt every rational thought slip away. she decided then and there to send everything to hell. without a second thought, she crashed her lips against his, pouring all her pent-up desire and emotion into that kiss. his warmth enveloped her as their bodies pressed together, the sensation of his skin against hers sending shivers down her spine. her hands roamed freely, exploring the contours of his muscular frame, feeling the tension and strength beneath her fingertips.

Prince watched as his words sent a bright blush from her cheeks out to her ears, and he couldn't help the way his smirk widened. Was she really so innocent that a mere compliment did her in? If that was the case, he almost felt sorry for her, having to marry someone like him who was far from innocent.

Her laugh was a surprisingly nice sound and it pulled what might be considered a genuine smile to the man's lips. as a small chuckle left him. Prince nodded slightly, his hold on her tightening the smallest amount when she stepped toward him, and he didn't hesitate to pull her almost flush against him.

"Much more breathing room." he teased in agreeance, giving her waist a slight squeeze before taking a sip of his drink and then setting it down on the counter behind him. His now free hand met his other on the opposite side of her waist and he pulled her fully against him, his signature smirk resting on his features. "Well it looks bloody brilliant on ya." he complimented, leaning his head down to press a slow kiss to her lips.

She took the scotch from him before taking a slow sip. It helped her nerves quite a bit and gave her a bit more confidence. She'd probably need another glass of she was going to actually go through with this. He was attractive but he was going to be her first and thst made her stomach turn to knots with nerves. She wanted to be good enough so he wouldn't go looking elsewhere.

She had heard his subtle exclamation at her outfit which caused her cheeks to turn almost as red as her hair. The blush spread clear to her ears. She watched as his eyes looked over her. She felt like prey being looked at by a predator right before they bounced. The feeling sent a shiver down her spine.

"It is certainly much lighter than that dress I was wearing. Much more breathing room." She gave him a wink before giggling. His touch was warm against her skin and her body instantly reacted to the touch. She took another sip of her scotch before taking a nervous step towards him so he could continue to touch her freely without having to reach.
