they were brought up once in an awkward text conversation between mephone4 and fan. now, it's really all fan asks about! aside from the countless questions he's asked for test tube about what it's like in space. at this point the three should just make a group chat.

mephone still feels weird around the contestants after the events of the finale, and facetiming isn't much easier. everyone knows the truth now, and it's hard for him not to feel guilty about it for many reasons. they've all begun to move on, anyways. integrating with real society. mephone is just happy that test tube and fan are happy.

still, sudden phone calls always make him jump in that split second before processing the caller id.

Microphone: Guys, not to sound rude, but didn't MePhone5S and 5C JUST try to kill MePhone4? Didn't this guy (Cobs) create them? Why would he support us when he just tried to kill us? Cobs: Oh, that's nonsense. He's (Mephone4) my business partner. Those staged fights on your show get us a lot of product placement. Knife: Wait, MePhone never said it was all fake! Cobs: Oh, he never told you? Brilliant! He must have wanted genuine performances, so he distorted the truth.

i'm actually giving up i cannot do this anymore. this episode ("Theft and Battery") was released in 2015. NINE YEARS AGO. I already knew they had been planning the plot twist for at least ten years but i totally brushed off this scene the first few times i watched this show, and looking back, i have zero clue why i didn't question or look further into it. i guess because Cobs was implied to be someone untrustworthy so i just subconsciously assumed he was bluffing??? i dont know. the writers in this show are INSANE.

the world ii shows in might be made-up as well.

mephone used inanimate insanity to escape his abusive household, as a way to escape reality (literally.), etc.

the more episodes released the more it shows that the prime shimmer theory (Mephone (+ 4S) was built using the prime shimmer egg that 3GS gave to Cobs.) might be true.

the world of inanimate insanity always looked off, and ever since the new episode confirms it. if the prime shimmer theory is true it explains the other weirdness in it, the prime shimmer egg statues/mountains(?) also appeared in the prime shimmer planet which is obvi where the prime shimmer egg came from.

one thing that stood out to me is cobs said “don’t know what a frown looks like.. or *tree* or well *grass*” and the thing is tree & grass doesn’t exist or well the ones that looks like tree & grass in our planet, it doesn’t exist in the prime shimmer planet.

prime shimmers ‘soul’ uses a SHELL to live in just like how mephone uses a phone body (maybe like WHY & HOW it was so easy for 4S to downgrade himself. because the prime shimmer needs a shell/vessel to live in?.) too.

what i’m trying to say is, if the prime shimmer theory is really true. mephone using inanimate insanity to escape from reality, to cope. whether he knows it or not, deep down he yearns to be HOME. where the prime shimmers live, because those are his ORIGINAL family not whatever the hell cobs is, hence why he responded (sort of..) to the egg that fan had calling to be home calling for its family. the prime shimmers were always shown to be together and not alone after all.

I headcanon he uses He/Him and They/Them pronouns like me, because he's MAYBE part shimmer or well.
