Ok sorry this is all about my depressing medical records. I promise tomorrow will be back to Dalinar hole posting and whatnot. But it remains EXTREMELY funny that I’ve drank enough over my 2 ish years being legal that it’s starting to show up in my blood work and YET I am still of the diehard belief that Alcohol Tastes Yucky :( and that if I don’t have Water Chaser nearby there is a very real chance I will Throw Up Everywhere regardless of how drunk I am. Like it was one thing when I was a 15 year old trying champagne on New Years’ Eve but I have gotten drunk like 80% of all days since April 2023 (turned 21 December 2022 it’s just it didn’t get Bad tm until then) and I’m still like oh it’s bitter :( yucky :( like some sort of teenager. what colour should i paint my new bedroom knowing that technically im only allowed to do pastels but pastels are ugly
#like i know what i want but a) should i be so bold and b) i hate blue and i NEED to find the correct colour#bc it's a long room so i want to do red on the short wall with the door and blue on the long wall#then put a bunch of shelves over the blue#but either way the blue has to be the right shade or i'll scream#i HATE jewel tones i do NOT want them near me#it needs to be a primary blue or i'll scream#but i'm not too bothered about red i like all reds#plus i have red fitted sheets (which ikea doesnt sell anymoer and now they have holes in them so rip)#anyway i really also love the green colour i've found like the light green#and i think orange and green is also nice & theyre still not pastels by any stretch of the imagination#but like. theyre also not primary colours so . idk#like my landlord shouldn't ever be in my bedroom but yk#also we have a blue tiled bathroom and a green tiled kitchen if it matters#& we'll probably do a yellow wall in the living room bc i dont think we'll be able to stop my roommate#(but if it were up to me & the other roommate i think we'd have a green and orange living room)

last two weeks of the school year and work is so slow that I just stood in the hall for ten minutes counting how many tiles I could see without turning my head
#learned that if i lean my head against the braille sign for the boys bathroom by the business classroom i can see 182 tiles without moving#my primary classroom has 77 cieling partitions 23 window panes and 12 cupboards#79 individual shelves across 6 shelving units#32 chair leg caps on 12 chairs#18 chair legs total#2 exercise mats 2 foam seats 3 lightboxes#7 bottles of cleaner and 4 trash cans#4 tables and 1 desk#4 room divider panels 2 lights 2 security cameras 2 doors#3 mounted whiteboards 3 unmounted and 1 freestanding#1 dodgeball 1 kickball#9 clocks; 5 of which work#1 tv 4 computers#67 loose storage boxes#3 pairs of noise canceling headphones#4 boxes of lego#1 vacuum 1 label maker 1 scent diffuser#5 boxes of kleenex#i am so bored that i inventoried my classroom for lols how am i meant to do this for another week and change#just watch tomorrow i'll end up counting the individual books and markers and stuff

...i'm starting to wonder if i wasn't actually pretty often failed by the adults in my life as a young kid tbh.
#i'm always doubtful where to put the blame#in a morally neutral causality kind of way to be clear#because like. i dont know. if i was the adult. confronted to the opaque behavior of a child. would i have done better?#but also i can't help but think#why the fuck did they make me skip a grade (last grade of primary on top of that) when i was notorious for never doing my homework#and was incredibly inconsistent across topics#like i sucked at math. like ''needs to count on fingers to do a simple addition or substraction'' sucking at math.#like i never learned any multiplication tables sucking at math#like i never got how to pose divisions and still can't at age 18 because logicomathematics are completely counterintuitive to me#and just. the work was never done to make me Get It. my work or teachers' work who knows. but perhaps skipping a grade wasnt the solution#or like#apparently when i was three years old the pediatrician suspected smth was up with me#either autism directly or ''generally suspicious child'' we're not clear on that#but he told my parents. and everybody said ''we better test that'' and then. nothing. idk.#they filled a parental report of behaviors questionnaire for... adhd i think? autism maybe. and that's it. never fucking heard about it.#god. i just remembered my mom saying proudly they almost never put me in the nursery as a kid.#always either with a parent or family or a nanny.#and perhaps mother. you could have foreseen that a kid with no siblings no pets no kid neighbors no playdates. would end up socially fucked#i remember the teachers scolding late students and showing us that we were supposed to be in bed by 9:30 or something#and internally i was like BUDDY AT 9PM WE'RE HALFWAY THROUGH DINNER#MOM'S BEEN HOME FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR#and shit. i don't know. i was scared of the dark as a child. to the point that even with the compromise#of keeping the door ajar and lights in the hallway (which i had to fucking advocate for btw)#i still slept curled up in the bathroom on a towel sometimes when it got too scary#and i would cry and scream before going to bed. i would beg my mom for sleeping pills from a young age.#i would often find myself in the morning sleeping with my face smushed between the pages of the book i literally fell asleep on#because i read until my eyes gave out#and a couple years later when i got a 3ds i'd play at night and if my dad caught me he'd storm into my room and i'd hide under the comforte#and he'd punch a couple times and whisper-yell at me not to do that and go to sleep#it took until i was about 15yo for me to see a sleep specialist
