just saw a hunger games tik toker (whose opinions i generally respect when it comes to hunger games tik tokers) claim that she thinks suzanne collins purposefully named prim and the reaping what they are so people could make “the prim reaper” jokes
like, suzanne is smart, but 1) you’re giving her WAY too much credit here, 2) i think she had a lot more important things to do in regards to the series than to choose a name (that she does with extreme significance) based on a potential joke, and 3) you’re fishing for views here
#usually when i see a bad tik tok take i just move on because its tik tok#like what else do you expect#but this one was too crazy for me#you think suzanne wanted people to call gale the prim reaper??#please be real#jess thinks

Wait, I'm confused. I never watched the pokemon show so most of my knowledge about it comes from your blog but—
What's the difference between Jesse, Jesselina, and Jessebelle? Are they all the same person or different? Is it the same in canon as in your au?
This is Jessie. Team Rocket member, self-proclaimed leader of the Team Rocket trio composed of her James and Meowth.
This is ALSO Jessie but in her idol/contest persona disguise known as Jessilina. Eccentric, loud, entertaining performer.
This is Jessebelle. James' fiancée and Jessie's lookalike. She's prim and proper but also incredibly unhinged. The physical differences between her and Jessie are her greener eyes and redder hair
youtube
BONUS:
This is Jessilee, Jessie's OTHER contest persona. She's not as eccentric and out there as Jessilina but still fun and still Jessie
This is Jessilinda who is ALSO, ALSO Jessie. It's her "tween/teen" disguise that she used to infiltrate a camp she was too old to join LOL. She postures herself as a popular girl and makes other people do all her assignments for her.
Jessie has many more alter egos like Jessilynlyn, Jesslana, Jessidia, Jessarilyn etc. She's really creative with names

SUN KILLER LULLABY
SUMMARY: In the final days of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano struggles to protect the shattered remains of her family. Her brothers, the clones, are falling faster than she can save them, and each loss tears away at her. Anakin, too, is slipping away, their bond twisted by an unsettling darkness that threatens to consume them both. On Mandalore, with enemies pressing in and the weight of the galaxy on her shoulders, Ahsoka is forced to confront a harsh truth: some battles aren’t meant to be won—only survived.
RATING: M
PAIRINGS: GEN
WARNINGS: Graphic Depictions of Violence, Character Death, full list of tags on A03
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6
CHAPTER SIX: OCEAN FLOORS COLLIDE SUMMARY: Choices matter, even those that kill us. CHAPTER WORD COUNT: 6.9k
Ahsoka pulls herself from the Force Bond to find no time has passed. Prim is still wrapped around her, their arms like a vice. They’re whispering the Mandalorian prayer for the dead, low and barely articulated, the vowels streaming together with the tears on their face. Jester kneels on the ground, puking out his guts, far past the limits of what he can endure. Cast and Jesse are holding Rex, keeping him safe from himself. Jesse’s forehead is pressed to Rex’s and he’s chanting haluur, vod, keep breathing. Enough of this, Ahsoka thinks, digging deep into the well of rage that has taken residence alongside her heart. Enough. She pulls herself from Prim's grip and initially they protest, but one glance at her face has the clone’s arms recoiling. Ahsoka suspects most of her transformation within the Force did not transfer into the physical world, otherwise she would see her own chest torn open and organs spilling onto the floor. Yet she’s not surprised to see the yellow glow of her eyes reflected in Prim’s golden brown. Ahsoka might not share Anakin’s savage pride in her own Fall, but she can understand it as she watches the Lieutenant make an instantaneous decision. They set their jaw and nod once, sharply, projecting both wonder and terror.

Other examples of parents on Gilmore Girls thinking they're doing the right thing but unintentionally messing up their kids:
Richard worked a lot to provide for his family and keep the Gilmore name good -> Lorelai feels neglected to the point that years later she feels like she has no good childhood memories with his father
Emily put a lot of pressure on Lorelai being prim and proper and lady-like and took her to all upper class events to keep up appearances and socialize her -> Lorelai hated the events, felt like she didn't fit in and couldn't be herself, started resenting her mother and outright rebelled
Lorelai decided to treat Rory like her best friend rather than her daughter most of the time -> Rory felt even more pressured not to let her mom down and to be perfect
Mrs Kim raised her daughter with traditional religious values and healthy diet -> Lane felt stifled at home and started sneaking around and rebelling in secret
Luke showed Jess tough love and pressured him to graduate high school otherwise he will kick him out -> Jess ran away and decided that he would rather be homeless than told what to do
I am sure there are also plenty of examples of characters thinking they're doing the right thing but actually being detrimental to another character who is not their child. I can think of is potentially Rory stringing Dean along instead of just being cruel to be kind and breaking up with him when she no longer had feelings for him or Rory telling Tristan to ask Paris out which just hurt Paris more. This happens in real life all the time so I really appreciate it on this show. People are rarely pure evil and have evil intentions.

this is the final part of crepe AU! thanks for reading 💖
---
“Okay, I want this done by the end of business day, but if not, just push the meeting with R&D to tomorrow. I need to make sure that I leave by—”
“ —that you leave by 5.”
Lena looks up from staring at her monitor and turns her attention towards her assistant. Jess is standing in front of Lena’s desk with her little memo pad in one hand and her pen in the other, already poised to take notes. She stares at Lena expectantly, though Lena can see the sparkle of amusement in her eyes.
She narrows her eyes slightly before sighing, leaning back in her chair. “How many times have I mentioned that?”
“In the past hour?”
“Has it been that many?”
“Thrice, Ms. Luthor.”
She shakes her head, a rueful smile on her face. “You must think I’m being silly.”
Jess stands as prim and proper as always, though she does lower her memo pad and pen, holding them in front of her stomach. “I think it’s rather…endearing, Ms. Luthor, that you’re nervous about meeting this crepe maker tonight.”
“I’m not nervous. I’m…well, I’m just afraid that something will happen and I will disappoint her again, considering I’d essentially ghosted her last night.”
“But you didn’t, and she appreciated the potstickers you brought her.”
“I must sound like a schoolgirl with a silly crush.”
Jess tilts her head. “With all due respect, Ms. Luthor, but if that’s what you are, then I’d say it’s a good look on you. Besides, I certainly would not be opposed to seeing you leave the office at a regular time if you pursue this supposed crush.”
Lena scoffs amusedly, rolling her eyes all the while shooing her assistant away with a hand. “That’ll be all, Jess.”
“Yes, Ms. Luthor,” Jess intones with a teasing grin on her face just as she turns on her heel and walks out of the office. Lena watches her assistant walk out and shut her office door, leaving her alone. She swivels her chair to look out of the window where she can just see part of the park from where she’s sitting, knowing that Kara is somewhere out there waiting for her.
When 5 o’clock rolls around, Lena is already standing by the elevators with Jess right behind her—the top floor uncharacteristically quiet and empty at this hour.
“Have a good night, Jess,” she says when they make their way to the sidewalk outside of her building.
“And have a good date, Ms. Luthor.”
“It’s not—” she starts to say, but when Jess only stares at her knowingly, Lena stops and smiles. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Lena reaches her penthouse and changes out of her business clothes into something more comfortable. She settles for a pair of simple black jeans and a green long sleeve shirt to stave off the cool evening air. She takes her hair down from the bun she’d been sporting all day, her scalp feeling relief. She gives her reflection a onceover in the mirror, briefly wonders if Kara would feel different at how she looks, a departure from her more professional and put together attire. But she decides that Kara doesn’t seem the type to judge her for those sorts of things, so she pockets her keys and her phone, sending Kara a quick message before heading towards her building’s garage.
On my way now
Can’t wait! See you soon!
Lena parallel parks on a nearby street before crossing to reach the bank of food trucks that lines the curb to the park, her keys a welcome weight in her hand as her nervous energy spikes with every step closer.
It is not a date regardless of Jess’s insistence. But even Lena can't deny the mixture of excited and nervous butterflies that flutter in her stomach at the thought of seeing Kara once again.
The series of events of the last seventy-two hours, when laid out logically in front of her, is actually a dozen shades of insanity. She has known Kara all of three days, at best, yet a sense of familiarity washes over her, a sense of security and safety. She can't explain it, can't connect it to anything she's ever known before, but a calmness washes over her when Kara appears in her line of sight.
She can only imagine what her family would think. But she doesn't give that train of thought any more time when Kara spots her and calls for her, rushing out of her own truck to jog closer.
On the exhale, Kara stops just a few feet away, and beams at Lena. “Hi! You made it.”
She shrugs. “I promised, didn't I?”
“You did. Come on, you hungry?”
Lena nods before wordlessly following Kara into the truck. She dutifully takes her jacket off and places it on the driver’s seat as Kara instructs.
Her jaw drops, marveling at the various ingredients laid out in front of them on the counter.
“Oh, wow,” she breathes out, impressed at all of what’s in front of her: an assortment of sliced fruits, sliced meats, and various shreds of cheeses, with a line of both sweet and savory spreads.
“It’s more impressive when there’s actually food here,” Kara states with a small push of her glasses back up on her face. She then takes a little pitcher of batter from the refrigerator behind her and places it on the side of the griddles.
“You didn’t have to do all of this.”
“I didn’t.”
Widening her eyes in embarrassment, Lena stiffens in her place. “Oh.”
Kara can’t help her giggling, shaking her head and waving her arms. “Sorry, that was just super tempting. I have to set up the rest of the supplies for tonight. But what you and I are eating is already prepared. They’re at the other end of the counter.” She throws her thumb over her shoulder where Lena’s eyes follow, finding a separate tray with a set of ingredients with smaller containers. “I got carried away with our food that I slacked off on prepping for my customers tonight.”
“Oh! I didn’t mean to take you away from your work, Kara.”
Kara shakes her head, about to place a hand on Lena’s forearm but thinks better of it. Lena does her best not to frown at the incomplete touch. “You’re not! I promise. We’re gonna make our food and then my friend Nia is gonna take over for the night.”
“Oh?” she suddenly asks, quirking a brow. “You’re not working tonight?”
“Nope!” Kara says, emphasizing the P with a pop. “I got Nia to cover for me. After all, it’s not every day the Lena Luthor comes into your food truck and demands to be wowed and impressed by your culinary expertise.”
Lena chuckles, tilting her head slightly as she crosses her arms over her chest and leans her hips against the counter. She can’t say that she remains unaffected at the thought of Kara going through all this trouble of entertaining her, the gesture making Lena fall for her all the more.
“Careful there, wouldn’t want to reach your quota so early in the evening,” she comments instead.
Kara winks at her before resuming her tasks. Lena doesn’t shy away from watching the other woman, how deftly and expertly she moves around in her truck as she sets everything up. The crepe maker definitely had a flow to her movements, almost like dancing around in the small galley of the truck. She doesn’t want to get ahead of herself, but Lena finds it all too easy to imagine Kara doing the same thing in the galley of her kitchen, serving the two of them breakfast.
For now, she shakes her fantasies out of her mind and contents herself watching Kara.
“So,” Kara starts. “Tell me about your day.”
“Oh, it was just work,” she says with a dismissive shrug.
“Can’t tell me more than that? Is it super secret?”
Lena hesitates, not wanting to drag the tedium of her work into something fun and exciting. But the look on Kara’s face, an earnestness to listen, tells her that Kara probably wouldn’t think of it like that.
“It’s not super secret—well, not all of it, anyway. It’s just boring.”
“Try me.” Then Kara nods off with her head to something behind Lena. “Pass me the box of spices behind you, please?”
“Okay,” she sing-songs, pushing up from her spot and carrying the small box of spices towards Kara, now the two of them with barely a foot of distance between them. “But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
Kara snorts, throwing her head back, her glasses sliding slightly down her nose. Lena, without realizing what she’s doing, brings her hand up and gently pushes Kara’s glasses up. The two of them standing still in their place, their gazes locked with one another.
“So, work?” Kara says finally after a few precious moments of the two of them staring, anticipating. There’s a crooked grin on her face that Lena would love to see there everyday of her life, if possible.
Though the moment’s been broken, it doesn’t disappoint Lena. Instead, she leans back slightly just to give herself a bit of breathing room. “Right, well…”
For the next little while, Lena divulges about her day, talking about the good work that her research and development departments are working on, about the meetings she had with investors, about the members of the board that test her finite well of patience. What she doesn’t share is how nervous she had been about tonight, about Jess’ brand of teasing.
Kara listens with a nod here and there and stops with clarifying questions, attentive even as she works on wrapping up the work that’s right in front of her. When she finishes, almost as if having reported her entire day, she waits for Kara to respond.
“Wow,” Kara comments, sighing heavily just as she throws the hand towel she’s been using over her shoulder. She puts a hand on the edge of the counter and rests her weight on it, tilting her head. Lena thinks she looks too attractive for such simple movements, fighting herself not to jump across the small space between them and close it entirely. Thankfully, she has more sense than that and doesn’t do that, but only just. “You’re right, Lena. That was boring.”
Feeling surprisingly affronted, Lena’s jaw drops in shock, and she’s about to defend herself when Kara looks over to her with a wide grin.
“I’m just kidding! You lead a very interesting life and your work sounds fascinating! I promise!”
“You don’t have to lie.”
“Cross my heart, Lena. Maybe next time you can let me know about the meeting with your R&D about those nanobot things you mentioned.”
Lena narrows her eyes in suspicion, which only seems to crack Kara up. “Maybe. But you’ve betrayed me once already, so you’re on thin ice.”
Kara then straightens up, eyes wide and becoming frantic. “What if instead of thin ice, we think of thin pancakes. Ready?”
She nods and steps back slightly to let Kara work.
“Great. I’ve got Cash, Money, and Millionaire warming up.” Kara draws back and gets the tray of ingredients from the far corner of the truck and lifts it over the warming griddles until she places it right by Lena’s side. It’s not lost on Lena to watch Kara’s arms flexing as she does so.
Lena watches with rapt attention as Kara goes on to explain every single step of her process with practiced ease. Suffice it to say, Lena is both impressed and a little turned on at how well Kara handles herself in the kitchen, spreading the batter perfectly in quick movements using the spreader. She then goes under it with the spatula to reveal a perfectly golden brown bottom before flipping it and filling it with ingredients.
How lucky, Lena can’t help but think, to see something like this all to herself.
As soon as Kara pulls a complete crepe off the griddle, she wipes the surface quickly and starts over until she has the same three crepes going.
“What made you want to start a crepe food truck?” Lena asks just as Kara starts to put the finishing touches on the three crepes and shutting the griddles off.
“It started out as a joke actually,” Kara says, expertly carrying two plates on each hand just as Lena follows her with the remaining two and walking out to the solitary table a few yards away from the truck. “I was making them for all my single dorm-mates on Valentine’s Day. That’s also where I got the name. Tried to show solidarity with all the unhappy ones.”
When Lena spots it, she finds a red and white checkered tablecloth and a vase with a single rose in it and a tall candle beside it. All the plates cover just about every surface of the table. Yet instead of listening to Kara’s explanation of her business venture, her gaze alternates between the table and the now-nervous Kara standing in front of her.
“Is this a date?”
Kara bites her bottom lip and scratches the side of her face. “Uh…what’s the best answer I can give you?”
“The one that you mean.”
The blonde woman sighs and offers an unsure smile. “I hoped it would be. So, if you want it to be, then it is. But if not, that’s okay too! I–uh, you know, would totally understand. A-and if I’ve ruined the night or misread everything, then you can super totally just take the crepes to go or something, and—”
Without thinking about it, Lena stops Kara’s rambling with a press of her hand over Kara’s mouth, the feel of her fingers against Kara’s lips something that she didn’t think she needed to know but now that it’s here, she never wants to forget.
“Sorry, that was incredibly rude,” she shakes her head even as she pulls her hand away, closing her fingers in a small fist.
“No problem, feel free to do that anytime.”
She arches a brow just as Kara’s eyes expand in surprise. “Nothing’s ruined. I don’t wanna take the crepes to go.”
Kara visibly sighs in relief. “Uh! I mean, um, that’s good to know.”
“But I’ll only accept it as a date if you ask.”
“Deal!” The uncertainty on Kara’s face disappears and she smiles. “Lena, would you like to be on a date with me right now? And if it sways you at all, there are really delicious crepes right in front of you that smell and taste delicious that are going cold by the second, so please answer quickly.”
Fondly, she rolls her eyes. “With a question like that, how can I say no?”
They get settled at their table, Kara even walking to where Lena is and pulling the seat for her. Much like the last two nights, Lena finds herself completely enamored and captivated with the woman in front of her.
She takes a bite of each of her crepe as Kara watches on silently, her eyes curious and eager. Lena chews, does her best to keep her face neutral much to her delight and Kara’s chagrin, and tries each of the three crepes that Kara made for her before laying any judgment.
“Well?”
“They’re alright, darling,” she announces slowly, the pet name tumbling out of her mouth so easily.
Kara shakes her head and points a finger directly at her. “Stop with these mind games, Lena Luthor! I won’t have you declare my crepes to just be alright! I didn’t win the National City Crepe Culinary Award three times in a row just for alright!”
Kara exaggerates turning her chin up with a visible pout on her face that has Lena tipping her head back in laughter. She’s unable to maintain the charade as Kara rants and rants about the injustice of Lena’s mediocre scoring of Kara’s food, of her supposed ploy to undermine Kara’s hard efforts, until the two of them fall into heaps of laughter.
She’s just finished wiping the tear from the corner of her eye when Kara looks up and back to the truck, excusing herself as she greets a young brunette woman standing by the front passenger door. She offers a wave when the woman waves towards their direction.
While Kara speaks to her friend, Lena takes the time to herself with a text to her best friend.
Serious question: how soon is too soon to ask her to marry me?
She laughs when she finds Sam responding quickly with ‘I’m honestly so surprised you haven’t sent me a wedding invite in the mail yet’ before pocketing her phone just as Kara returns.
They quickly clean up their table, Kara mostly doing the work of throwing out their mess before offering her hand towards Lena who doesn’t hesitate to take it.
“Wanna go for a walk?” Kara asks.
“Lead the way.”
Hand in hand, they slowly meander past the other food trucks, and Lena can easily imagine the future looking a lot like this: after work, she and Kara walking together, their joined hands swinging loosely between them.
They grab a seat on a bench that overlooks a carefully tended garden midway through the park with a small water fountain nearby, the sound of flowing water acting as a soundtrack to their time together.
“Can I ask you something?”
Lena turns to glance at Kara who’s already turned her way. “Go ahead.”
“Did you have fun?”
Lena smiles at that, pulling their joined hands together and placing them on her lap. “I had a really good time.”
Kara nods, as if to herself, and stares down at their intertwined fingers. “Do you think we’re moving too fast? I mean, we just met and I feel like I already know you.”
She shakes her head. “I know the timeline isn’t typical, but maybe that’s not so bad. Especially because I feel the same way.”
“Yeah?”
“Mm.”
“So, like, if I wanted to ask you on another date to go eat something that someone else makes, you’re cool with it?”
Lena tilts her head, her heart bursting at the possibilities of what’s to come in the future. “I’d say I’m cool with it, yes.”
“Cool. Totally cool.”
She bites her bottom lip, definitely the feeling of being a school girl with a massive crush in full force now. “It’s my turn to ask a question now.”
“Go for it.”
Lena turns her body fully and takes a deep breath. Her nerves have suddenly returned, and she tightens her grip slightly on Kara’s hand who uses her thumb to soothe her knuckles. “If I ask you to kiss me, would you do it?”
For years to come, Lena will always remember the next three moments with fondness and warmth. She’ll mention them in her wedding vows, making Kara cry ugly tears so beautifully, she’ll log that memory as an extension to these ones.
The first: the moment she witnesses Kara’s curious expression transform to realization then joy then, maybe, possibly, even love when Kara smiles a toothy grin at her. “I would do it every time. Whenever and wherever. You can just let me know.”
“How about now?”
The second: the moment she gets to taste Kara’s smile for the first time, their heads coming together until their lips barely press together because neither can restrain their joy.
The third: the moment her lips memorize the feel of Kara’s lips on her, properly this time, as they slot perfectly in place against each other.
“Wow,” Kara whispers eventually, barely breaking apart from each other.
“Yeah.”
“Who knew Lena Luthor was a good kisser?”
Lena stills, then groans, then shakes her head, her forehead dropping onto Kara’s shoulder. “I can’t believe I like you so much,” she mumbles into Kara’s neck. She feels the vibration of Kara’s laugh more than she hears it.
Contentment and excitement and anticipation washes over Lena like a tidal wave, overcome and overwhelmed. All at the hands of a beautiful, handsome, stammering, bumbling crepe maker whose griddles she named Cash, Money, and Millionaire.
Then she senses Kara wrap her free arm around Lena, her hand gently rubbing Lena’s back.
Lena thinks she’d probably like to live here for the rest of her life. And if she’s lucky, she just might be able to.

For the wip game, Jane Eyre/Tess&Joel please 🙏
Oh, Jess, I am so excited you asked because I did some writing last night, and I very much want to share it with you all.
Mr. Silverlake was a tall, thin man, or at least he seemed so to me, but I was still very young. He felt enormous to me, the lines of his frame harsh and prim. A tight smile pinched his lips, thinning reddish-blonde hair brushed flat to his head, and pale ice blue eyes scrutinizing.
“What is your name, little girl?”
“Tess Servopoulos.”
“You are quite small; how old are you?”
“Ten, sir.”
“So much?” His voice was doubtful, patronizing. His gaze lingered, scrutinizing, as he tapped a pointer finger lightly on his bottom lip.
“Well, Tess Servopoulos, are you a good child?”
I could not reply in the affirmative; from what those around me had told me, I was of the opposite disposition. I remained silent. Mrs. Kwang sighed, frustrated, and shook her head. “The less you ask on the subject, the better, Mr. Silverlake.”
“I’m sorry indeed to hear it.” He replied, his fingers stroking his chin and the sparse, bristling hair that grew there. “She and I must have a little talk then.” Bending down, he threw the back of his long waistcoat behind him so that it did not impair his seat when he installed himself in the large armchair opposite Mrs. Kwong’s. “Come here, girl.”
I stepped across the heavy brocade rug, and his long, bony fingers wrapped around my biceps, placing me square before him. Up close, his face level with mine, was angular, sharp, cheeks hollow. His lips thin and pale, tilted up at one corner, in what he must have meant to be a smile but looked more like a smirk.
“There is no sight as sad as that of a naughty girl,” he began, “Do you know where the wicked go after they die?”
“They go to hell,” I answered quickly. The teaching drilled into me since I was old enough to crawl, grab, and possibly do ill.
“And what is hell, child?”
“A pit full of fire.”
“And would you like to fall into that fiery pit and be burning forever and ever?”
“No, sir.”
“Good girl, now what must you do to avoid it?”
I deliberated for a moment, sure of my response, but my answer when it came did not seem to please him, telling from his piercing glare and downturned mouth, “I must keep in good health and not die.”

Okay so get this…
SPN S8E9 “Citizen Fang” (and E10 “Torn and Frayed”)
I am SO tired of love triangle stories. They’re annoying plot devices in my opinion. However…
Love triangles when the outcome isn’t character A choosing between characters B and C? Fantastic. Give me a love triangle where B and C realize they’re in love with each other instead. Give me a love triangle where ABC realize they don’t have to pick either/or.
Now, I love Saileen. I’m sad they didn’t end up together according to the finale. But rewatching this episode, I can’t help but think…what is Amelia didn’t have to choose?
Amelia loves Don and Sam equally. She doesn’t want to have to choose, can’t choose. Take away everything else from the show’s main plot and maybe Sam and Don and Amelia talk more, the three of them together, and Sam and Don realize they actually kind of get along. Don doesn’t understand how someone who hasn’t been in war can have those eyes that Sam does, but they still find some connection and bond over past trauma. Sam knows he doesn’t have the same experiences as Don, but it’s comforting to have someone in his life who gets the pain and terror and trauma.
Sam and Don realize they both love Amelia equally. They both realize they only want her happy. They both are secure enough in their love for her to think…maybe Amelia doesn’t need to choose. Maybe they can make this work. After all, it’s not like Sam has much history with regular relationships, outside of his short time with Jess. And Don was in the military and MIA; he knows life is far too short to worry about what society thinks is prim and proper.
Don moves in, Sam stays, and at first it’s just Don/Amelia and Sam/Amelia. It works for them. There’s not jealousy there. And then, maybe down the road, after a few drinks or something, when they’re all feeling kind of frisky, they think…why not?
And no, maybe they didn’t start their throuple relationship with the thought that Don and Sam would ever feel that way about each other, but once they stop bullshitting and caring about perceived ideas of what a relationship should be, they both realize that maybe there had been hints along the way that they weren’t as straight as they always thought. Maybe it’s not just love for Amelia between them.
Maybe it’s not just Don-and-Amelia and Sam-and-Amelia. Maybe it’s Don-and-Amelia-and-Sam, three parts of one whole.
Maybe they realize that a real triangle has all their points linked.
Aaaaaand Dean-and-Castiel-and-Benny come back and there’s no more evil in the world and everyone lives and are in love and happy.
The end. 😤

Do you know any jokes?
10/19/2010
hmmmm it looks like some new ponies are showing up to my diary. I'm kinda... kinda scared of that, but I'm 99% sure you guys can't really read my diary, just put stuff into it. Weird-ass magic diary bruh. Might as well write to you guys and not write bad things about you behind your backs in my diary tho. Just in case.
I'm watching you
Well, uh, "primrose-petals"... HELL YEAH I KNOW SOME JOKES! I got coached in joke-telling by the party pony Pinkie Pie herself, and besides, Im fricken DJ PON-3! Gotta know how to make the ponies laugh if you want them to dance, you know what I'm sayin? I don't cuz that's just something Pinkie told me but she's the Element of Laughter (yeah I finally got the deets from her on that, tell you more about it later)
Okay, here's the jokes!!!!!!!!! This one came straight from the horse's mouth yesterday night and I really do love it a lot, Prim (can I call you Prim?)... She even wrote it down for me, but to really get the joke I gotta set the stage! Ok, so here I am walkin through ponyville carrying my subwoofers and turntables on my back and WOW is it heavy. I go into Sugercube Corner for a cupcake and Pinkie and the Rainbow Dash almost crash into me. So, anyway, Pinkie tells me the joke, it's "An elephant and hippopotamus were taking a bath. And the elephant said to the hippo, 'Please pass the soap.' The hippopotamus replied, 'No soap... radio!!!'" and she says it in such a funny way and of course Pinkie's guffawing her lungs out with Rainbow Dash chuckling and looking expectantly at me that I can't help but start grabbing my sides in mirth and rolling on the floor laughing! Too bad about my turntable and Sugarcube Corner's floors. But I just had to laugh, for Pinkie Pie's sake if not for the jokes! I got home and told Octy the joke but she didn't get it so. i know i did my good deed for yesterday.
Ok ok I know that was a somewhat pretty, uh, racist joke (I'm not racist. Neither should you.) But here are some more: "Singing in the shower is fun until you get soap in your mouth. Then it's a soap opera!"; "Dad: 'Son, I need some laundry soap right now, quick! Quick!' Son: 'Gee, dad, do you haveta rush me like?' Dad: 'Of course, Jesse. The situation here really is dat urgent!' "; "I went to jail for the first time and I ok maybe not that one
But those were all just Pinkie's jokes! Now some one of mine: "What did Buckingham Palace say to the Trottinghammers on Sky Fawkes Day no "What did Ted Bunty get for Christmas? nuh uh "How many foals does it take to paint a DEFINITELY NOT "An irishmare walks out of a bar" maybe? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no. "A family act walks into a Canterlot talent agency headed by Filthy Rich himself and I forgot the middle but the punchline is that the family call their act, "The Aristocrats!"
so maybe i dont know any appropriate jokes. all these ones Octavia told me earlier are a bit too risky (especially that foal one...) (Damn you, Octavia!)
Speaking of Pinkie, I saw her today in Sugarcube Corner again when I went in for another cupcake. She gasped and grinned real big when she saw me, like she usually does cuz she knows it makes me laugh, and thanked me for laughing at her no soap radio joke yesterday. (I think she knows I was just being polite...) Anyhoo, I asked her about how she knows Rainbow Dash and it led her to talking about their whole-ass journey! And this is a CRAAAAAAAAAAAZY journey Pinkie went on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, Luna be damned!!! (sorry sorry sorry too soon, too soon.)
Ok so here's the second half of what Pinkie told me: so Nightmare Moon came back on the Summer Sun Celebration and kidnapped Celestia to take her place as ruler so she could put Equestria under eternal night (I called all of that, by the way!! Whattaya think now, huh Octy???) and so six ponies went on a wild goose chase for the Elements of Harmony to stop her: Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash!, that Twi mare (that was a shock! she's more of a homebody to me), Applejack, and a couple mares called Fluttershy and Rarity. They eventually really got the elements and BECAME THE ELEMENTS! Wotta buckin' sweet free upgrade they all got in coolness! Especially Rainbow Dash! She's gotta be like... way cooler now!
I was gonna ask Pinkie more about what Rainbow Dash's like but I saw the time and hadda go to my. lessons. with Octavia. OH but Pinkie Pinkie Promised me she would take me to see all her other friends on her day off tomorrow and so I'll get to see Rainbow Dash!!!!!
Well um. it's time for my lessons. My lessons with Octavia. Tavi, Tavi, Tavi, Tavi Tavi Tavi Tavi Tavi! Hahaha yeah I'm so good at the things she's trying to teach me naturally. No more questions!
speaking of which, DONT YOU DARE READ MY DIARY PAGE FROM TWO DAYS AGO OR I WILL . CUT YOUR HIND-LEG STANDING FACES OUTTA MY DIARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alexander (Grimm) - Crossover AU - Chapter 8
A plan was being laid out. Wu had run checks on the names, making any necessary connections.
“You’ve gotten a little taller, you’re almost about to outgrow me.”
Jane pats your head and you continue to grumble, a slight flush on your cheeks. Whenever you’re around your father you seem to revert back to a child.
“Dad, stop it, we're on the job.” You swat his hand away and he just smiles.
“Alright alright, what’s the plan boss man?”
Renard clears his throat as he goes through what they intend to do.
“We have more than a dozen suspects and little to no time to work on. We need to delegate, figure out which names will get us the information we need fastest. I have Wu running a check on three of the judges and the prosecutor.”
Jane scans the board, tapping his chin.
“Let me talk to him.”
He points to an image.
“Jess Hylie? He’s a federal judge. It’ll be harder to break him. He has connections.” Nick states.
Jane waves his hand.
“Trust me, he’ll break the easiest. Look at his eyes, small beady. It just oozes deceit. Prim suit suggests he craves power. The pin is a nice touch, but it’s slanted. He’s most likely married, but having an affair. His wife probably suspects that's why she hasn’t been properly adjusting the accessory. He’s a mook. He doesn’t think he’ll be caught. If we threaten him with just a bit of evidence he'll sing like a bird.”
Jane smiles after the assessment and they all just all exchange a look.
“We can have him here in ten minutes.” Renard says.
“Great, I’ll be grabbing a cup of tea with my daughter if you all will excuse me.”
Jane stands with a smile and you rush to your feet, following behind.
“They’re quite the pair.” Renard states.
“You think he knows, about the whole Wesen thing I mean. (Y/N) figured it out in thirty minutes.” Hank inputs.
Renard looks a bit more guarded.
“Right now let’s focus on the current problem, we can worry about that later.”
They had enough on their plate as it is.
~~
The calm manner in which he stirs his tea is all the indication you need. You’ve learned from the best, so Jane isn’t surprised when he sees the way you study him. Much like he’d done to others for years.
“You know, don’t you dad?”
“Know what? That you and this team are hiding some big elaborate secret that’s linked to that detective Burkhardt.”
You shift, and Jane just smiles.
“The entire time we were talking your captain kept casting subtle looks in his direction. His partner has also become subconsciously defensive. It’s probably instinct for them at this point. When I gave my little assessment they looked a bit too worried. Not for your friend’s sake, but a secret that they all share by their body language.”
Sometimes it really was a curse.
“I’m not here to interrogate you. I just want to help. Whatever this secret is, you would have told me if you thought I should know. I’m not going to pry. I just need to know that you’re safe.”
You nod.
“I’m safe dad, I promise. Nick, Hank, all of them, they’re good people. They help people, just like you and mom.”
This time his smile is easy, soft.
“I’m glad.”
He places the mug down and when he reaches over and places a hand on your cheek, you lean into it. It’s a gesture that he’d used to comfort you whenever you were scared as a kid. Whether it be thunderstorms or invisible monsters. You’d spent so long being hostile when you first got adopted that when you finally opened up, when you started to trust them, your walls just fell away. You weren’t just some burden in his life. In his eyes, you were his daughter.
“I’ll do everything I can to get him back safely. If I’m right about these people, then he’s still alive. We’ll find him.”
Your shoulders drop and you move forward, hugging him tightly. He knows you well enough to understand when you placed that mask on to focus and show no fear.
“Thank you dad.”
He squeezed tighter.

death can be too much for some, at times. they weep, they wallow ; they're overcome with grief and cannot live their lives, day to day. as an addams, blair finds the beauty in such things. she's proud of her parents, what they died for. yes, this tragedy has left blair an orphan, but they had been noble in their scientific causes, and she couldn't fault them for dying, doing what they loved. when she had found the hidden things in their closet, however, blair couldn't help but wonder about them. wonder what they had been hiding all these years. 'i found you and your bureau through a series of pages stashed away inside of my mother and father's bedroom,' blair practically hums, her tone nearly prim and proper, her hands behind her back as she walks with jesse. 'i only wish to see if they had any participation in your operations, here. or if they were merely... curious. they were scientists, you see. but addams's - well, we've always believed in... something beyond,' @takecontr0l.

CHAPTER I: TELL ME THE WAVES WON'T RISE SUMMARY: Old bonds are reforged, and visions are shared. CHAPTER WORD COUNT: 6.2 K
You’re not home, Ahsoka reminds herself, ignoring the swoop of emotions in her chest. She’s surrounded in the Force by the warmth of the soldiers around her, not the least Rex and Anakin. Rex glows with pride, the newly painted orange and white helmet held gently between his gloves as she trails her hands over it. Anakin wears a small smirk, mischievous and self-satisfied. He’s been projecting unease ever since she landed on the Negotiator, stepping around her cautiously, tripping over his words. Only by presenting her a company in her own colors do his turbulent emotions settle. Behind Ahsoka, twinned relief and excitement emanates from the small contingent of clone officers, but especially from the ones she knows well. Vaughn is at perfect attention, his energy calm and balanced, but incredibly pleased to see her. Kes and Lion are radiating delight, barely holding their salutes. Prim and Finch feel nearly as animated. Jesse stands over her right shoulder, the ARC Trooper an unshakably warm presence that settles in the back of her skull. She’s missed this, the easy comradery of her siblings, her vode. The last time she saw most of this group had been on the Resolute, well before the Temple bombing. She spent weeks wondering if they blamed her for leaving the Order without saying goodbye... Even if they had, any lingering resentment has been replaced with infectious joy at seeing her safe and back amongst them. You’re not back and you are not home, she chides, pulling herself back to the present. In Anakin’s hands there is a lightsaber box. Her lightsabers. Her throat closes, unruly emotions getting the best of her. She reaches out, long fingers coming to rest on the carved wood.
