The Museum of Ice Cream is here Miami!!! 🎉 🍦 🍧 An Instagram sensation that is more of an interactive installation than museum. The four-story building designed by OMA in the Faena District in Mid-Beach showcases art deco elements and contemporary interiors alongside ocean views with tons of interactive rooms. The space features a variety of rooms and spaces that are unique to Miami. The Bunns Shake room is meant as an homage to 1950s Americana, complete with a diner set up and even a throwback video game console. The Jungle Room is aptly dressed with millennial pink palm trees, a topping canopy, a special to Miami swings shaped like cherries and bananas and a “secret” coconut sparkle mini room with vegan, kosher, gluten free, chocolate covered banana treats. A room filled with giant, life-sized fans that are meant to be interacted with are found in the Fan-tastic room, while another rooms serves only Melted Ice Cream, which is making its debut at the Miami location and is ice cream in sippable form. In the Sandcastle Dreams room, guests can evoke the childhood memory of playing in the sand and create their own pink sandcastle while inside the Sweet Sculpture Studio, guests can build their own sculptures. On the roof of the space, there’s a popsicle-city “frozen in time” complete with water views. Museum of Ice Cream Miami is open at 3400 Collins Avenue Miami Beach; Wednesday to Monday beginning December 13.
