i see a lot of wesker content is about domestic fluff like making meals for one another!

but post-arklay... just imagine... he has the prototype t-virus now. wesker's caloric needs are vastly different. the man could run a mukbang channel without any unhealthy eating tactics with the amount he must now consume to maintain his weight and appearance and prevent the virus from turning him grey and sullen.

something that has changed about him, most intriguingly, is his taste. his desire for exceedingly fresh cuts of meat prepared blue, an uptick in umami and savory taste receptor activity. he's even had to wipe his face before a meal once, salivating gratuitously to the point of drooling and falling deathly silent in equal parts exasperation and embarrassment, so different from the composed, gentle menthol of a quiet man you'd come to know.

you buy a lot of fruits now, purposefully picking out the granny smiths, plantains and pineberries, anything a little less on the sweet side for his shifting palate. you even begin to grow cucumbers to pickle for him. your kitchen, once full of small, lively rack-pot plants like oregano and sweet basil now sports fast-growing savories like chives, fennel and dill.

cooking with a crock pot becomes ideal. a batch to you is a meal to him, so you can set it up in the morning for the evening.

you make a tray of cookies and he eats them all! he'll be hungry again in thirty minutes. he would prefer a bit more salt next time. maybe you could experiment with higher protein concentration? he does not elaborate, but he is polite.

wesker, of course, affords you the same small details when he cooks for you. he doesn't push to encroach on your own dietary choices, even if they're far different from his newfound primary carnivory. he consciously portions things (though sometimes he heaves a bit too much for you), leaves the salt until the end so that he can salt just his own half, and ensures every raw item reaches a satisfactory internal temperature for the time you need.

Sometimes I use AI for background images. This time, the generation really pleased me, since it perfectly hit what I wanted :D

I get immense pleasure from the fact that my skill is gradually improving! I could never have imagined that I would be able to draw all these folds in clothing and shadows decently. I am especially proud of Dust and Horror 💫

Hah, under the first drawing with "The Bad Sanses somehow ended up in the Backrooms", I wrote that everything would be cute, but here we are: Dust is a lepidopterist, Nightmare can be killed by water, and Cross has fungal spores on his face. Half of the group has been changed by Backrooms in some way (evil laughter of the Creator).

I decided that my experiment with the story from different characters is unreasonable to continue: it is difficult, and the text becomes artificially too long and confusing. Plus, I find it hard to keep track of the English version of the text.

This is the translation of the another post from Russian to English. I understand English, but it is very difficult for me to write in English, so I asked chat GPT to help me. I have corrected some parts, but there still may be mistakes.

A human suddenly emerged from the nearest room. At first, he seemed not to notice the presence of strangers. They all stared at each other for a few seconds, until Killer waved his hand in greeting (the blade of the knife glinted brightly). The human hesitantly greeted them all in return.

The man's name was Enrico. He was afraid that the group of skeletons was his hallucination. He had been alone on this level for too long. Even with the support of psychologists, whom he was able to contact via the internet, loneliness was killing him. And tactile hunger: he couldn't let go of Cross's hand after the handshake, and the firm claws of Horror made him cry with happiness. Killer kept the conversation going, but didn't come close. Dust and Error kept their distance from Enrico. They were wary of people who wanted to touch them (Nightmare had enough of a cocktail of negative emotions).

Enrico told them everything he knew about the current level. He also offered his new acquaintances a smartphone as a gift. Among the production rooms on the level, there was one that produced electronics, so the gift was not valuable to Enrico. But now the guys didn't have to look for full-fledged computers (thank you, Enrico, you helped me a lot).

Error studied the code of the level. Even after seeing that strange map in the room where Enrico lived, he couldn't accurately say how the entrances and exits worked here. It seemed that the level was carried through the Backroom, seeping through the pores of other levels, capturing a resident if the old one died. Some kind of level-prison for one. But there was also a cosmos here. And that strange planet outside the window.

Dust watched the white dwarf in the viewport for a long time. It seemed unusual to him. Its appearance was more reminiscent of the surface of a plant lamp than the surface of a star. He thought that the solution to the problems could be there.

Nightmare instructed Cross and Horror to accompany Enrico and seize as many goods as possible for their use. The level produced valuable resources for trade, and simply leaving it would be extremely foolish. Especially since, for the faint hope of leaving this place, the man agreed to do anything (Nightmare enjoyed playing on his emotions).

Finally, they stepped out into open space. The magical skeletons coped well with the lack of air (well, they are made of magic, I can't do anything about that). They wrapped Error's threads around Enrico, who remained in a safe spot. The blue magic helped them move forward in turns. The closer they got to the star, the stronger the sense of wrongness grew.

Eventually, they spilled out onto another level (Error, who was loading, confirmed it). Enrico appeared nearby as well. The endless cosmos turned out to be quite limited, despite the infinite number of rooms inside the space station. The star was simply a round hole in space. The light that seeped through the crowns of the trees reflected off the mirror-like surface of the white marble pedestal. From a distance, it looked like a glowing white planet.

It seemed that they had found a way out of level 15. But not an entrance. The hole in space disappeared immediately after they exited it.

Enrico was so happy with the change of scenery that he fainted. The group left him there, taking the blue strings. They didn't need a new member. It was just a deal.

The new level resembled a forest and ruins. Mostly forest, with a smaller portion of ruins. There were so many plants that they grew on top of each other. Some trees had branches so large and old that a layer of fertile soil had formed on them.

As bad gays ventured further, they discovered animals: birds and snakes, a couple of spiders, traces of dogs or wolves. Killer even managed to catch a bright finch for entertainment. But the animal quickly bored him. Cross turned out to be much more interesting.

One of the provocations made Cross stumble. A colorful stream sprayed in his face. The way he squealed in surprise and the intense burning around his eyes amused Killer.

Cross needed help (otherwise he would become useless). Horror rinsed the affected area with Almond Water. The burning subsided, but the bright color remained. Killer found it amusing to compliment the Backroom on the stylish eye shadows. And since they now had smartphones, Cross could start a beauty blog. Or slowly turn into a zombie if it was a special type of cordyceps fungus. The situation seemed to amuse him.

Only Nightmare managed to silence Killer, binding the jester with tentacles and tossing him into the depths of the forest like a bag of trash (if Cross became useless, Nightmare would break Killer's tailbone).

But, it seemed that aside from the inappropriate bright color on the bones, the fungal spores posed no danger. At least that's what Dust said, who accidentally stained one of his butterflies in the liquid.

On this level, as far as they knew, there could be human outposts. This meant that the exits they had explored might be inaccessible to them if they couldn't resolve everything peacefully. Although after interacting with Enrico, their group didn't consider the people in this place too dangerous. The prisoner of level 15 was content that the skeleton group wasn't his hallucination. He paid no attention to anything else. It seemed they had overestimated the danger posed by humans. Perhaps it was worth trying to enter one of the residential areas?

But Error seemed to have spotted a suitable exit.

Random Legacy All-in-one Update #2

Speedy updates continues until the boys reach adulthood. So it'll be lengthy posts for some time. We start the post with cuteness. Satori decides to adopt one of Nutmeg's kittens. Both pets being elderly, we need new blood. It's a male kitten called Short Tail Cat. 😄 I should rename him. Regardless, Nutmeg enjoys being a father.

Satori showcases an exemplary motherhood. She's particularly mean to Bismarck, patronising and all. In her defence the only parent she knew was Danzig and that's how he raised her, with tough love. So that's the only parenting she knows. "You ought to toughen up the kids."

The next day is Spooky day so the boys go trick-or-treating. Bismarck isn't very into it but he still plays along.

Everybody wants to throw a Feast Party so that's what we do. Satori's stuffed turkey craving is met thanks to one of the guests. It's also Midori's birthday. And we receive our first evil gnome in the mail.

It's 20 degrees Celsius and for some reason it snows which shouldn't happen in this tropical island. The snow disappears the next day leaving the residents with unfulfilled frosty desires.

Bodhi and Deedee continue to take care of their toddlers in their separate homes. Although, Bodhi visits his girlfriend and daughter frequently. Luckily, they don't have to wait too much to get together permanently.

First successful robbery ever! This idiot, after like 3 or 4 tries, finally realises that there are no alarms outside and decides to steal Bodhi's midlife crisis car. That's fine. We're so rich and we still have Great Grandpa Fendi's Harley and Great Grandma Macy's Hot Rod. The burglar drives away in her own car. 😂

Last night I cried, and I mean UGLY cried at a foul hour because I love Albert Wesker and I hate it. (/Lh)

Like first off, the man's name is Albert??? Need I say more? But then, his name is kinda gothic when you say his full name. I don't know if that's just me. But just simply referring to him as Albert is goofy as fuck considering he's supposed to be a villain in RE. Not only that, he's got paper thin lips. How's he gonna get a kiss kiss??☝️🤨/ref

But it wasn't only that, mind you, it's also because this absolute FUCK, this evil David Bowie and Johnny bravo looking mother fucker, has consumed my life and every waking thought that sometimes it genuinely hurts and that's what I hate about being autistic. It's just how much I want to consume of something once it becomes a special interest and/or hyperfixation. On top of that, Wesker is a special case for me because I found out I technically trauma bonded to him as a comfort character. For the past year and a half now, I got back into RE because of the RE4R and began hyperfixating on said game then it spiraled into hyperfixating about the Wesker's storyline, with project W and so on. I already have a tendency to go back to RE periodically every like two or so years but this has low-key been probably the longest I've consistently fixated on RE without a single break in-between. My dad and I bonded over resident evil, he's one of the people who got me into RE, albeit he watched the movies and I got into the game's. Which means RE means a whole lot to me and since he passed my fixation on it only heightened as a source of comfort. I also found out when you have a comfort character during a horrible period in your life, you very well can trauma bond with said character. So that means out of all characters, I have trauma bonded to Albert Wesker and I am two seconds away from tweaking. 🤩

On top of that, every time @rainbowroadonsteroids sends me something remotely Wesker related I start punching my wall and they bully me for it smh./Lh+nm

this is super interesting. i haven't played my gale origin that far, so it's fascinating to know this is an option. i obv don't know the whole context, but ifl it's really telling for his character bc it goes back to his lust for power. people usually only talk about astarion being power-hungry, but i recently played the shadow lantern scene again in my astarion origin and gale's whole take on it is along the lines of "it's power, we need it, so i'll take it whether mystra likes it or not and i won't feel bad about it". imo he's trying to convince himself as well, and he's still uncomfortable with taking things for himself and not in mystra's name, but i like it because it shows his sense of self-preservation rebuilding itself. if you're doing a gale romance chances are you stumble upon it after you convince him not to detonate the orb, which means that he's still fresh at this 'will to live' thing. it's important bc it shows he no longer does whatever self-destructive thing mystra bids him to do and he's embracing the part of himself that wants his magic back.

the implication would be that he's turning away from the light, but the way i see it he's just embracing that there are other forms of magic aside from what mystra taught him and deemed acceptable. drawing from the shadow weave doesn't have to be inherently evil, because he's not using it to hurt people. he's just filling a void mystra refused to. she could have removed the orb the moment it took residence in gale's chest, but she didn't. instead, she left him to fend for himself, with very little of his magic left. rebuilding the power he had before the orb, even if it's from the shadow weave, is more than lust for power (though it is that as well), it's him realising he has self-worth outside of what mystra thinks of him.

i love gale because when elminster shows up, if you ask him "so if the gods know what's going on, why are we struggling with this bullshit alone?" gale APPROVES. yes, he's devoted to mystra, yes, he would die for her, but if you question her choices he mumbles in agreement and he makes it known he's fucking salty. even better is if you ask him if he's still bound by her rules, and he goes "hah! that's a good question isn't it" and he's all sour about it and i LOVE that his mindless devotion isn't so mindless, that even after everything he's smart enough to recognise the ridiculousness of everything.

i love how act 2 is the start of his rebellion and how he then goes on to build that shadow lantern despite knowing mystra would dissaprove. one of the things about gale is that he never walked the straight and narrow, he was always different and a bit of a menace and losing mystra's favor is a blessing in disguise because it allows him to explore magic freely again, without her breathing down his shoulder. it's such a joy to see him shyly reclaim his autonomy and allow himself to have opinions that go against mystra's.

oh thats in reference to karl heisenberg from resident evil 8, people speculate that karl is based off the irl scientist werner heisenberg who worked with the nazi party because of the name and the fact that heisenberg conducts human experimentation (just like the irl heisenberg did during the holocaust). there was also something mentioned about a scene in the game with him where you can see nazi dogtags.
