I spent most of this Sunday asleep. I had things I was going to do but I decided a midday nap couldn’t hurt. But I had forgotten how intense my dreams can get especially when I am overtired and/or overstimulated. So every time I woke up just a little my dreams would beckon me back to sleep.

Had a conversation with my brother about how he and our parents tried waking me several times without success. I told him about how my dreams got so intense and deep with all its internal lore and plot structure. Even getting meta with revisiting previous parts of itself to see the different paths the story could have taken.

My brother told me that he was almost envious by the extensive world building going on in my dreams. Of the immense storytelling.

Except he didn’t tell me that, because the entire goddamn conversation was just another layer of dreams! I live alone and haven’t even talked with my brother on the phone today, much less face to face.

Goddamn meta dreams!!
