Think this just about concludes the 25 press ups for 25 days. Plenty more videos in between but I’ll just bore you to tears so here are the highlights. Past couple of weeks have been a lot easier in our new routine. The purpose of this challenge was to raise mental health awareness and in my personal experience the best way to handle stress, sadness, emotional ups and downs and anxiety is by getting out into fresh air or pushing myself in the gym. The effect on the outlook for the day is incredible. And no, not all workouts are great, not all feature on an Instagram reel of unreals, but in these strange times we have to work with what we’ve got. With any challenge comes nominations, and usually time to say thank you: so special thanks to Chris for being an amazing husband as always and steering us into a new journey of growth mindset, you get to crack on with 25 press ups a day darling 😚 Second is Nic who opened up this week about her own journey with crippling OCD and has reminded us the power of endorphins. Thirdly Yvonne because I’ve seen your progress over recent years and it’s superb. I won’t put anymore people under pressure to do this, but if there’s a takeaway piece from me it’s that mental health issues come in all shapes and sizes, on any day in any weather.
