Holly - Stephen King Review

** spoiler alert ** So in the afterward of Stephen King's newest novel, Holly (a continuation of the character Holly Gibney that first appeared in The Bill Hodges Trilogy, then The Outsider and the novella collection If It Bleeds and I believe is now his most written character other than Roland Deschain and the Ka-tet), Stephen King says that while Holly Gibney shares many of his own political beliefs and thoughts on life in the post-Trump Presidency and the time period when Covid was a national conversation, he hopes that if he were writing the opposite perspective, that he would be able to give that perspective justice. I don't know that I agree.

It doesn't take more than a brief glance at Stephen King's twitter feed to confirm that the man is obsessed with politics in the Trump era and specifically with Donald Trump himself. It could be he has always been this way and having easier and quicker access to his thoughts via social media confirms that, it's hard to say. It's clear to anyone who has ever read any one of his books, that Stephen King is a liberal. Always has been from when Carrie was published through now. So if you're reading a Stephen King book and you're mad that he's mad about Trump, then you're the problem. Not him.

I guess where I fall on this and granted, I haven't read everything of his (I've read 56 of his novels/short story collections and am working on the rest) is I feel he's gotten less adept at writing about politics, particularly in his fictional work (and his tweets to me read like MSNBC headlines, all bark no bite unlike Cujo). Like I said, he's always trashed republican politicians, even going back to the Reagan Administration, but he used to be so great at finding the voice of the modern, every day average person, regardless of that persons political view, they were a fleshed out character, that from their point of view, you could understand why they think the way they do.

I've only read If It Bleeds, Later and Holly in the Trump era (I think The Outsider was probably written before Trump), but I'm fairly positive Trump shows up in every one of those books, if only by name and every Trump supporting character is unintelligent, described in a way that gives them some sort of gross deformity or they're straight up evil. There's no attempt at examining why someone might support Donald Trump, beyond the fact that they're clearly just into authoritarianism.

There's no acknowledging the very real idea that at least in 2016, there was a group of Bernie supporters that also supported Donald Trump, because they were both espousing populist ideas. I know a lot of highly intelligent people that support Trump, but have reservations about the man himself, his actions, tweets, but love his policies. But even horrific politicians in his previous books, guys who in their respective stories like Greg Stillson, do even worse things (uh hello global nuclear war) than what Trump did in actuality, there's a kernel of understanding that Stephen King writes into them. It gives us interest and like/hate in those characters.

So yeah, it's impossible not to not talk about this, because it's such a glaring thing in the book. I don't think wrongly. In the period Holly takes place, Donald Trump, Joe Biden and Covid were large topics (I feel the same way about his treatment of unvaccinated people (I have the latest booster FYI so I'm completely vacc'd), he doesn't seem to understand there are reasons why someone might be unvaccinated other than to "own the libs"). So that out of the way...

Holly Gibney of the Finders Keepers private detective agency has a new case. Bonnie Dahl has gone missing and her mother Penny has hired Holly, based on recommendations, to find her missing daughter. Initially reluctant to take the case because she had recently lost her own mother due to complications with Covid and her own proclivities, Holly begins to look into the case, to discover that several people have gone missing in that area.

Meanwhile, Professors Rodney and Emily Harris, an elderly couple that are semi-retired, have a dark secret hidden in their basement.

Okay. So I do *not* feel this is a spoiler. Stephen King intentionally lets you know, just as he did in Mr. Mercedes, very quickly who the killer(s) are. That's certainly a method. One that, for me, Stephen King doesn't do a great job at fulfilling here. While yes, I'm, sickened by what the killer of Mr. Mercedes did, or the Harris' do here in Holly, there's no tension for me. There's not a second of this book, especially with how much Stephen King has talked about in interviews and the like, that I'm worried for Holly Gibney. I know she'll have some scars mentally and physically, but I know she's going to make it through.

I *liked* this book. I didn't love it. It was sort of middling Stephen King for me. I think where it misses the mark for me is the "Alfred Hitchcock bomb under the table" method of storytelling, where I think Hitchcock is a master at, these pseudo detective stories that Stephen King has been doing, I'm not sure they click for me in the way that he wants them to. And again, King used to be a master at this with things like "That was the last time they ever saw __________ alive". The reveals of the killers here and in Mr. Mercedes just undercuts the tension for me. There's nothing from them in the way that Stephen King has been great at in the past (making amazing, sympathetic villains). They're doing horrific stuff for minimal gains it seems like, they're what, if what they believe *is* true, which the novel undercuts, then they're extending their lives by a few years at best. That's just not all that interesting for me

Where the book does work and for me it's the same thing as in If It Bleeds, is the character of Holly Gibney. I'm with King in that she's one of the best things that he's done in the last decade. I'm just not completely on board with this having been a story worthy of Holly. Especially a titular story. I don't know that we learned anymore about Holly here than we did in previous stories with her. In fact I don't feel like there's a lot of character development at all for Holly, she's much the same at the beginning and end of the novel.

One of the reasons I *liked* the novel is the interactions between Jerome and Vera Steinman. I thought that was one aspect of the story where King absolutely nailed what he was going for here. The horror of the situation, the grief and impact of losing a loved one in a horrific way. I loved every time those two characters were with one another and would love to see Jerome, especially with his life taking off, expanded upon further.

Lastly, I feel like I'm confused about Holly's age. I don't know if it's because of the actors who have portrayed her, but my impression of Holly in The Outsider and If It Bleeds was that she was in her thirties. Was there a time skip that I'm not aware of, because King clearly states that she is in her early fifties here.

So yeah, I feel like I was mostly critical here. I'm sure many people will disagree with my thoughts here. But I love Stephen King and his works. Even when I disagree with him (not even saying I disagree with him in many topics that he covers in Holly, just don't think he was successful for me in conveying these topics). I wouldn't have read as much of him as I have if I were not. So if you liked Mr. Mercedes and that trilogy, then I would recommend Holly. If you were more into the supernatural aspects of The Outsider and If It Bleeds, well, maybe you'd be a little more middling to Holly like myself.

hi i saw your post for americans about how they should vote coming up and i just wanna say im really sorry so many people are being such dicks to you about it. this year will be my very first presidential election that i can vote in and i am so scared to go down to the polls in november because i know its just going to be a shitshow. you said voting blue is bad and we shouldnt do that because the blue candidates would just continue the genocide, but voting red would be much much worse because trump has promised to be MUCH more supportive of israel’s disgusting actions in palestine as well as promises to strip millions of minority americans of their basic rights and protections. so obviously voting red is just as bad but were not supposed to not vote because thats basically just another trump vote. i am completely at a loss for what to do this election because everywhere i look people are saying ‘if you vote for x youre evil’ ‘if you vote for y youre a genocide supporter’ ‘if you vote for z youre basically human garbage’ theres quite literally 0 good options and everyone in the us knows that voting third party is just throwing away your vote

so like what should i do? cant not vote, cant vote blue, cant vote red, and cant vote third party, which doesnt leave a whole lot of options for what i CAN vote for without hundreds of people telling me i suck and should like go die

To get this part out of the way first, yes, you Can "just not vote"

Please read the entire article. Refusing to vote is the most basic form of protest for this entire system. There are quotes in that article going as far back as 1905 from indigenous people talking about this.

It's around 5,000 words long so set aside some time to read it.

Second of all, yes, you can vote third party.

Democrats and Republicans are equally as evil, but right now the Democrats are the ones literally comitting genocide and putting all their effort and money into doing so. Voting for them is explicitly telling them, and any other politicians who will ever exist, that genocide will win them support, so they should keep doing it.

Rewarding people for comitting genocide will of course lead to more genocide. And considering this is the most public genocide in the entire history of the world, can you imagine how much worse it will get if we tell these people that we're happy with them when they do this?

trump has promised to be Much more supportive of israel’s disgusting actions in Palestine as well as promises to strip millions of minority americans of their basic rights and protections.

I will just keep saying what minorities have been saying for forever: Trump may have promised to do these things, but the Democrats also plan to do them, they just don't tell you about it ahead of time. They, in fact, promise the opposite.

Biden has put more kids in cages at the border than Trump did. Biden denied Covid19 harder than Trump did and removed all protections and systems of support for it.

This allowed, and encouraged, the cold-blooded murder of Sonya Massey, and countless other victims of police brutality and outright murder.

The Democrats will do every single thing the Republicans tell you they're going to do, but the Democrats expect you to thank them when they put their boot on your throat and then kick you while you're down.

Biden and even Obama could have protected Roe V Wade to ensure abortion rights, but both refused to do so, because they don't actually want half the population of this country to have the right of basic bodily autonomy. Joe Biden is a Catholic. He hates abortion just as much as any Republican, but he pretends otherwise when he needs people to vote for him, which is what any Democrat is going to do.

The people who are okay with genocide will keep telling you you're a horrible person if you vote third party or withhold your vote, but I cannot stress enough how little you should care about their opinions. They will tell actual Palestinians that they're "the real racist" if they refuse to reward Joe Biden, or now, Kamala Harris, for murdering their families. They will tell actual Queer people that we "just hate Queer people" if we refuse to reward people for comitting genocide.

They will pull out every stop they can think of to make you feel guilty for refusing to support genocide.

It doesn't mean you're not doing the right thing. These people will even outright admit that they would have voted for Hitler. And they will try to shame and harass you into doing the same.

If you want to help people, and not just the privileged white Americans who insist that we all must support genocide to protect their feelings of security, then you can vote for whichever "third" party (which is an oxymoron because there's literally more than one of them but whatever) appeals to you the most, or just withhold your vote entirely.

And if someone tells you that "only privileged bigots withhold their vote", just share the article above and tell them to read it. Indigenous people have been doing this longer than either of us have been alive. They know what they're doing, and that article is just one essay. There are more. Going back to 1905 and earlier.

If you do something as simple as hand a homeless person $10, you are doing more to help minorities in this country than a thousand votes for Democrats or Republicans ever will. Donating to verified relief funds for Palestinians does more to help than any number of votes for Democrats or Republicans ever will.

Voting is not the most important thing you can do to help anyone. The only people who want you to believe that are the people who claimed they would "push Biden Left", and "hold him accountable", but all they've done is follow him into complete fascism with a smile.

The Democratic Party supports genocide. They threw out all pretense of being "the good guys" when they censured Rashida Tlaib for calling for an end to the genocide and an end to the colonization of Palestine. (And note: The genocide and colonization are the exact same thing. They are inseparable. You cannot have colonization without genocide.), and because they continue to push to send more weapons to Israel when doing so is literally, explicitly supporting genocide and allowing it to happen.

Joe Biden got up in front of all of these people on June 5th, 1986, and said that if Israel didn't exist, they'd have to invent one. Because it is a direct extension of American's colonization and oppression.

Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans regret any of the genocides or slavery that founded this country. They are pouring as much energy as they can, right now, into making sure that more happen. If they could go back in time, they would be leading the charge to massacre and enslave indigenous people themselves.

There are many things you can do to help people if you genuinely want to do what's best for everyone and not just what privileged white Americans think will benefit them.

Voting for either Democrats or Republicans will help no one but millionaire and billionaire white supremacists, whether they're actually white or not. Kamala Harris is just as complicit in white supremacy and genocide as any of her old white man accomplices.

You can withhold your vote entirely, as many indigenous people have been doing since they were given the "right" (I cannot stress enough how much you need to read the first article I linked) to vote.

You can vote for whichever third party appeals to you the most.

You can share verified Palestinian relief funds. You can click once a day to help minorities all over the world. You can donate whatever money you can spare to Palestinians and other minorities mutual aid funds. You can give your pocket change to homeless people. You can treat them like people.

Anything you do to help the people in your immediate area, or overseas, or wherever you are able, will do more to help minorities than anything the Democrats or Republicans will ever do. If you can't afford to donate, you can share people's mutual aid requests anyways.

Here's a protest in Washington DC that's live on youtube as I'm pasting it in here. Literally just watching this will do more to help than Democrats or Republicans ever will.

Anyone who tells you that voting is the only, or the most crucial, or the most urgent thing you can possibly do are lying to you. They do not want to help anyone, no matter how much they claim to. Most of them will not even aknowledge the genocides going on, and if they do, it's only to say, with a fake tear, that some things are just inevitable, and it's better for Palestinians to die than them.

Vote third party or withold you vote. Share posts and essays written by Palestinians and other indigenous people. Do whatever you're able to to help your local community. Look for places you can volunteer, libraries, community gardens, anything you can think of.

None of us are free until all of us are free. Palestinians and other minorities around the world do not exist to be sacrificed for the sake of privileged white Americans, no matter what those privileged white Americans try to tell you.

They will harass you and try to guilt trip you into supporting genocide. They will pretend that you're "the real racist" for refusing to sign off on the murder of Black and brown people the entire world over, including in America.

They are wrong. These people are not your allies, or the allies of anyone in this world who is oppressed and cares about other oppressed people.

If you want to help Palestinians and minorities everywhere in the world, including in American, then either withhold your vote, or vote for whichever third party most aligns with what you want to see in the world.

Do not give in to the idea that supporting genocide by voting for the Democrats will magically lead to a world without genocide.

Trump will not be "worse" for anyone who's been suffering under this system since day 1. The only difference between Trump and the Democrats is that Trump tells you what he wants to do, and the Democrats lie through their teeth while doing the exact same thing.

The Democratic and Republican parties pretend to be two separate factions, because this allows them both to maintain shared control of this government and this country. This is why people are so rabid about telling you that "voting third party is a vote for the bad guy", when by that logic, voting third party equally supports both Republicans and Democrats.

Listen to Palestinians. Listen to indigenous people. Listen to the minorities who actually care about other oppressed people. Try to ignore the white supremacists who will scream at you that you must support genocide in order to protect them.

The Silent Struggles of Asian American Women

Intro

Intersectionality is when two social identities intersect, making unique situations for an individual. Women in America are faced with various difficulties ranging from the wage gap to sexual harassment. Asians in America experience discrimination, stereotyping, etc. Asian American women in this country experience all of these dangers simultaneously. My name is Emily Diamante and this blog post will briefly cover examples in history where Asian women were stereotyped and discriminated against for being both a woman and Asian.

Starting from the Beginning

In 1875, the Page Act was passed. This act restricted Asian women from immigrating to the U.S for prositutional purposes. This was one of the first instances of heavy stereotyping on Asian women. With the passing of this act, this wrongly profiles Asian women as prostitutes, dehumanizing them to an object. In addition, this act prevented Asian couples from starting families. It is important to note that the fourteenth amendment states, “all persons born or naturalized in the United States”. So due to the Page Act, the exclusion of Asian women in the country prevented these couples from starting a family. This stereotype was further portrayed when it came to the idea of a “military man”. The identity of a military man was just this macho, super masculine guy. So masculine that being called anything related to feminists was considered an insult. The stereotypical Asian woman at that time is the perfect opposite of a military man. Asian women are seen as submissive, seductive, only capable of serving men.

Covid

With the COVID-19 pandemic, harmful acts of hate towards the Asian community has increased by 339% in some of the largest cities in the U.S. It is clear it is because of people’s fear, scapegoating, and misinformation that caused Asian hate to grow so much in such a short amount of time. It is also no coincidence that when President Donald Trump used phrases such as “Kung- Flu” or “China Virus” that the blame on Asian Americans got even worse. The AAPI have documented about 4,000 instances of hate with Asian women being targeted 2.3 times more than men. Asian American women have stated that they have experienced some of these situations: being called racial slurs, comments about racial stereotypes, being followed via car, accused of being dirty, and being accused of having the “China Virus”. Because of these experiences, it is no doubt that Asian Americans have felt hopeless and frustrated during this pandemic. They are disappointed with the American government for how they are being treated. Asian women fear their treatment so much to go as far as to shop in only Asian stores.

Atlanta Shooting

March 16, 2021. Robert Aaron Long attacks a massage parlor and two spas in Atlanta, Georgia. He shoots and kills eight people. All eight victims were Asian women. This tragic, targeted attack was a symbol that highlighted the intersection of racism and sexism. This act of violence represented the ongoing struggles of the objectification, fetishization, and dehumanizing experience of Asian women in America. This attack sheds light on urgent issues that need to be addressed.

Maybe I’m bias but I actually believe Ukraine’s figures based on deductive reasoning.

It does not mean that i am fixated by the numbers. Rather, as I have been doing during 3 years of covid19 pandemic, I believe that the numbers are merely references over time. How fast, how the figures related to progression of combat outcomes.

It’s all about how the figures change. Not the precise figures themselves. The msm are rather pathetic in repeatedly talking about how both Russia & ukraine falsify their figures. Falsifying numbers serve no purpose to ukraine. Russia however would benefit from falsifying because Russia cannot afford to let its citizens & troops know the true losses of Russia’s meat grinding invasion of ukraine.

So deductively, consider the following:

1) we know the starting figure for Russia was about 200k all along the border from north of Kyiv to occupied regions of Donbas and crimea.

Now we know, Russian forces attacked north and south sandwiching with 4 main launch points: north of Kyiv, north of Kharkiv, south of kherson and east of Mariupol.

If we simply divide 200k by 4, that’d be about 50k each. We also have to assume that there’s an existing force in Donbas probably >20k split between donetsk and luhansk.

There are no reasons to believe that these 4 launch points were

This is going to be a hot take but so be it.

Alpha Variant Covid19 was not the devastating monster the media hyped it up to be. Was it lethal to people? Yes. It killed my father. Though would not have if the asshole had not been a stubborn asshole and stayed on the ventilator he was on. However, for most of the populace it was barely a cold.

However, in at least 5 states, Governors, rather than accept the at time presidents help, decided to put people who tested positive (which we still do not have a perfect testing system for even now) into nursing homes with the elderly. Several hospitals have come forward expressing that they exaggerated numbers for the financial gain because of course they did. What's more, there were possible treatments early on, like monoclonal antibodies, that the gov tried to restrict.

Issue is, you can't just full shut down an entire country for an extended period of time.

It's not ethical to do it

It's not practical to do it

It's not functionally possible to maintain for any duration of time

They knowingly held back the shot, (which we still don't have accurate injury stats on especially in regards to younger men and pregnant women) for between a week and a month until elections passed, to not give the former president a "win".

We were in essence lied to about the efficacy of masks and the "Vaccine" which magically changed definitions in 2019 to BARELY encompass the Bio N Tech stuff, was told to us would "Stop the spread and we could go back to normal" if people took it. And people who could not medically, who were told by their doctors not to, were forced decide to risk injury or death, or lose their jobs as most jobs would pressure you to take it or let you go out right.

In short the Gov did everything wrong. It wasn't about "Oil" or "No Oil". The Gov just found it's new source of control and income. And it's the Pharma and Medical industry. Newer variants are not as lethal and are just more transmissible. Viruses over time generally become less lethal because they are functionally trying to stay alive. They aren't sentient but they do strive to live. As all living things do.

The Gov failed here again not because Oil. But because a con artist who should not have been the public face of health lied about funding gain of function in Wuhan, then said, "Oh no one is going to need masks" then after china hijacked boatloads of our masks through foreign nationals, decided, "Oh well yeah masks". Then consistently flip flopped based on stuff the WHO org said, then flip flopped more based on stuff the media suggested. Like wearing two masks.

Our gov's response to covid was devastating. Not because the "Didn't do anything". But because you were fodder and they were not afraid of the virus at all. Most of the people that made the rules, were out ignoring those very rules. So while yes, they screwed up, it's not really in the ways you think. actually had things remained mostly normal, and immunocompromised people taken the proper precautions, as well as the elderly, covid would have burned through the healthiest of us and we'd have been more protected for it.

Instead we were told to insulate ourselves. Which is not a healthy way to live. Humans survive in most cases through exposure. Not by living in a bubble.

A former CDC official confirmed the human engineered, as opposed to natural, origin of the novel coronavirus which was renamed COVID19:

Robert Redfield, a former director of the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), has claimed that Covid-19 was artificially developed, and that the US played a “substantial” role in starting the pandemic.

Redfield, who led the agency under the administration of US President Donald Trump, made the claim in an interview that was released on November 14, but only drew media attention this week.

Speaking to author and podcaster Dana Parish, he suggested that the virus was “intentionally engineered as a part of a biodefense program.” “When you look at the accountability for China, their accountability is not in the lab work and the creation of the virus,” but in their failure to quickly report the incident to health authorities worldwide including the CDC, when they realized the virus was on the loose, he said.

However, the US “role was substantial,” he added. “They funded the research, both from NIH [National Institutes of Health], the State Department’s USAID and the Defense Department.” …

Biological Warfare and Prophecy

Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized. Furthermore, back in 2017, there were concerns that the biological research facility being constructed in Wuhan, China was risky and that a coronavirus from it could be released. On January 25, 2020, China’s President Xi Jinping publicly stated that the situation with the Wuhan-related strain of the coronavirus was grave. Did Church of God writers like the late evangelist Raymond McNair warn that engineered viruses (the “Doomsday bug”) were consistent with prophecies from Jesus? Did a warning from CCOG leader Bob Thiel warn about risks of genetically-modified (GMO) mosquitoes come to pass? Could human research and/or the consumption of biblically-unclean animals such as bats and snakes be a factor in current outbreaks or coming future pestilences? What about famines? How devastating have pestilences been? How devastating are the prophesied ones going to be? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.

So, while the media tended to disparage people like me, the fact is that the lab leak origin made the most sense. Particularly since nothing in nature surfaced as a real cause.

Let’s also look at something the New York Post put out titled: 10 myths told by COVID experts — and now debunked. Notice the following from that article:

In the final analysis, public health officials actively propagated misinformation that ruined lives and forever damaged public trust in the medical profession.

Here are 10 ways they misled Americans:

Misinformation #1: Natural immunity offers little protection compared to vaccinated immunity

A Lancet study looked at 65 major studies in 19 countries on natural immunity. Misinformation #4: Myocarditis from the vaccine is less common than from the infection

Public health officials downplayed concerns about vaccine-induced myocarditis — or inflammation of the heart muscle.

They cited poorly designed studies that under-captured complication rates.

A flurry of well-designed studies said the opposite.

We now know that myocarditis is six to 28 times more common after the COVID vaccine than after the infection among 16- to 24-year-old males. …

Misinformation #5: Young people benefit from a vaccine booster

Boosters reduced hospitalizations in older, high-risk Americans.

But the evidence was never there that they lower COVID mortality in young, healthy people. …

Misinformation #6: Vaccine mandates increased vaccination rates

President Biden and other officials demanded that unvaccinated workers, regardless of their risk or natural immunity, be fired. …

A recent study from George Mason University details how vaccine mandates in nine major US cities had no impact on vaccination rates.

They also had no impact on COVID transmission rates.

Misinformation #7: COVID originating from the Wuhan lab is a conspiracy theory

Google admitted to suppressing searches of “lab leak” during the pandemic. …

And, in my case as a scientist, I have always felt a high level of confidence that a lab leak was the cause.

Misinformation #10: One in five people get long COVID

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims that 20% of COVID infections can result in long COVID.

But a UK study found that only 3% of COVID patients had residual symptoms lasting 12 weeks. What explains the disparity?

Well, if long COVID is defined as having some symptoms for months after having COVID, my clinical experience suggests it is greater than 3%.

That said, most of the mainstream media and Big Tech pushed various narratives that were false.

The Bible warns of the “unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18)–and we saw a lot of this with COVID and are also seeing this in other areas as well.

Getting back to one of two videos that YouTube pulled that we made for violating its so-called “medical misinformation policy” here is what was advocated in that:

People should decrease their consumption of junk food. Instead that has increased and many Americans have gained unhealthy weight (see Using scale for weight loss? Americans gain weight during COVID-19 shut downs) which will not bolster their innate or adaptive immune systems.

Exercise is beneficial for the immune system (watch The Plain Truth About Exercise), yet during the corona/COVID lockdowns, many have gotten less exercise. Some because of fear of going outside and some because many gyms have been closed by government orders. Yet, the Bible teaches ‘bodily exercise profits a little’ (1 Timothy 4:8).

Avoiding smoking (see also Should Christians Smoke Tobacco or Marijuana?) and polluted air (watch Air Pollution, Autism, and Prophecy) help the immune function. Yet, cigarette purchases in the USA went up last year during the COVID lockdowns.

People should increase their consumption of high vitamin C fruits (like citrus and berries) and vegetables (like tomatoes and bell peppers) as vitamin C is proven to bolster the immune system, help protect tissues (like lungs), and fight viruses (see also COVID-19 and Vitamin C: The truth, the myth, and the hype). Many also contain fruits and vegetables supply betacarotene, which also supports the immune system.

Eleven years ago it was reported in a scientific journal that zinc was effective against coronaviruses to reduce their replication (see‘CDC Triples Number of Possible CCP Virus Symptoms;’ Don’t swallow Lysol to fight COVID-19! What about Zinc? Bloodclots?). Various foods, like pumpkin seeds, contain zinc.

Selenium may also be helpful. Eating a couple of Brazil nuts per week can supply adequate amounts of selenium.

Substances like methylene blue and hydroxychloroquine help improve zinc absorption (see also Donald Trump taking zinc and hydroxychloroquine to prevent COVID-19: Mainstream media aghast! Vitamin D? Vitamin C?).

Sunlight helps convert cholesterol into vitamin D and vitamin D looks to be helpful for those facing the coronavirus (see Donald Trump taking zinc and hydroxychloroquine to prevent COVID-19: Mainstream media aghast! Vitamin D? Vitamin C?). Even the CDC’s Dr. Fauci has admitted that vitamins D and C can be helpful (see COVID interview: Dr. Fauci takes isolated vitamin D and synthetic vitamin C).

Many herbs can help with viruses (see ‘Ghanaians Look to Herbal Remedies for COVID-19’ ‘Enti wobԑdi Onyankopↄn Nna Kronkron anaa Ahonhommↄnee Ahomegyeԑ Nna?’).

Jesus said His followers would fast (Mark 2:20). Fasting boosts the immune system (see Reuters: Why is New Orleans’ coronavirus death rate seven times New York’s? Obesity is a factor; BNP: ‘How to Change Your Life in 5 Seconds’). Fasting, for those who can, can truly help the immune system (see Fasting aids longevity and provides other benefits).

Blood clots can be destructive and even deadly with COVID-19, hence people who get COVID-19 may wish to take nattokinase (see ‘CDC Triples Number of Possible CCP Virus Symptoms;’ Don’t swallow Lysol to fight COVID-19! What about Zinc? Bloodclots?).

Lung tissue damage is associated with COVID-19 and bovine lung tissue helps support healthy lungs (see CBS: Blood types may play role in which COVID patients get sickest; Isaiah: Eat what is good.).

People should avoid consuming biblically unclean meat (see The New Testament Church, History, and Unclean Meats), which look to have been implicated in the cause of COVID-19 (see NPR: Where Did The Coronavirus Originate? Virus Hunters Find Genetic Clues In Bats; WND: Biblically unclean animals responsible for pandemics and Clean and unclean meat arguments, COVID-19, and the Bible).

Humans can help maintain healthy kidneys and other organs with bovine kidney and other organ tissues (see https://doctorsresearch.com/articles/2759/the-truth-about-glandulars-in-nutritional-supplements/). Plural glandular supplements can be helpful.

Even vaccine advocates think that the rushed vaccine will have safety risks (e.g. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/22/trump-circle-pressure-fda-rush-covid-19-vaccine-election)–hence caution and wisdom are advised.

All the above have the potential to help support one’s innate immune system, which helps the body fight many types of pathogens–not just one. It is good to try to be healthy and take proper steps.

Yet, instead, YouTube and many others have pushed agendas that are often anti-biblical and anti-scientific.

The good news is that years ago, when I saw that YouTube was effectively ‘shadow banning’ our videos, we in the CCOG decided to go on additional platforms.

COVID-19: Eat what is good!

US President Joe Biden said on 2/19/21 that the USA may NOT “return to normal” in 2021 because of vaccine and mutation issues. Is there another approach? Would it make sense to improve nutrition to strengthen the immune system and to help people with COVID-19? What about zinc, selenium, vitamin C, and vitamin D? What about avoiding unclean meats? What about eating more fruits and vegetables and items such as pumpkin seeds and Brazil nuts? What about eating bovine glandulars? What about herbs? Could fasting help? What about exercise and sunlight? What about masks, lockdowns, junk food, obesity, and weight gain? Dr. Thiel, who possesses a US regionally accredited PhD. in nutrition science from the Union Institute and University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California, and a natural scientist license from the State of Alabama, explains why people may wish to consider approaches for their immune system. He also goes over scriptures related to worse pandemics coming (associated with the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse–Revelation 6:7-8), and the fact that the Bible teaches to “eat what is good” (Isaiah 55:2).

That said, do not think that the mainstream and Big Tech are about to change their censorship tendencies and fully apologize for the harm they have done by suppressing truth.

The Bible warns:

20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. (Isaiah 5:20-21)

And we have seen a lot of good being called evil and promotions of darkness over light related to COVID as well as the improper sexual immorality agenda that many in the mainstream and Big Tech have been promoting.

That will not end well.
