kinktober 2023 -> day 9
skinny dipping - hinata shoyo x reader
word count: 772
kinktober masterlist
Every day was new and exciting if you were dating Hinata Shoyo.
He was a wildcard. With his flaming orange hair, million dollar smile, and stars in his eyes, he could convince you to do pretty much anything with him, no matter how absurd it was. That included getting into a pool and slowly shedding your bathing suits until you were naked in the water, bodies pressing into each other while they floated in the cold.
You would have never agreed to this in a million years, but Shoyo was a very convincing person. Something about the pool being isolated, access granted to only a select few premium hotel guests, and it being nearly 1 in the morning. There was a single light turned on near the entrance to the pool, while the rest were all turned off. It casted soft shadows over you and Shoyo, and that helped you relax a little and slightly forget about your fear of getting caught.
The second factor to your relaxation was two of Shoyo’s fingers buried knuckle deep in you.
You let out a breathy moan into his mouth, one leg wrapped around his bare torso while the other floated freely. The water would have been completely still if it weren’t for the fingers moving inside you, resulting in little ripples following up Shoyo’s arm and breaking through the surface. The cold water muted some of the sensations, but there was no mistaking how good and warm Shoyo felt against you, and how his fingers were persistently pressing into your spongy core.
“Shoyo, more.” You managed to choke out, clawing at his shoulders. He was single handedly holding you afloat in the water at this point, his fingers leaving your pussy at your request and replacing it with something bigger, harder, and way, way thicker.
You would never get used to him, to the stretch of your protesting walls as he forced himself into you. Shoyo was girthy, and no matter how much you prepped, it still burned when he penetrated you. And you loved it dearly. It knocked the breath out of you everytime, including now, even though the water somehow worked to soothe you, surrounding you like a blanket.
Shoyo pushed you back a little until you made contact with the wall of the pool behind you, both of his hands gripping the pool edge in preparation. He made eye contact with you and smiled so softly that your breath hitched and your cheeks flushed. Even in the cold of the water, the love in Shoyo’s smile made your insides simmer with warmth.
“Hold on to me.” He whispered, as if telling you a secret.
And you did. You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck as he began moving in you, as hard and as fast as the water would allow. The shiny surface of it broke around you at Shoyo’s harsh movements, waves rippling away from you and moving down all the way to the other end of the pool. You dropped your head back, resting it on the edge of the pool, the warm cement a stark contrast to the water around you, eyes closing as you focused solely on the pull and drag of Shoyo’s cock, brushing every spot in your walls that drove you insane. Your legs tensed and bent on their own, thighs framing Shoyo’s slim waist and digging into his sides. He hummed and ran a thick stripe over your neck with his tongue, drawing a sigh out of you at the sensation.
Your wet hand dug itself into Shoyo’s even wetter hair, holding on for dear life as you buried your face into his neck, tasting the salt on his skin, a mixture of his sweat and the pool water, biting gently into the muscle until he groaned. Your pussy tightened and squeezed around him as he forced his way into you over and over, your core tightening with every sloppy thrust.
“I’m gonna cum.” He announced, voice sounding shaky and frantic. Your arms tightened around him.
“Me too, baby.” You kissed him, long and hard, moaning into his mouth as your orgasm hit you, slow waves building inside you and coming to a climax, softly luring you to your end, firing up every fiber of your body in a way only Shoyo could. You felt his hips stutter before he finally buried himself deep in you, warmth spilling into you and his cock throbbing frantically inside you as he moaned his way through his own orgasm, before finally stilling.
The gentle lap of the water faded seconds after Shoyo had stopped, leaving you to bask in the quiet of the pool. The only sounds were your little breaths, and the soft smack of your lips against each other, tongues running over each other’s mouths, still tasting each other in the desperate way you often did, not getting enough, never getting enough.
You had never thought possible to be so in love with a man.

the uncle who works for nintendo: ten years on
10 years ago today i released a game called THE UNCLE WHO WORKS FOR NINTENDO. with art by Kim Parker, multiple endings, a metafictional structure, and extensive sound design, it was (and remains) my most ambitious completed solo dev project. initially conceived as the gamergate harassment movement sprawled over social media, and coinciding with the attacks on residents of ferguson, mo following the police killing of michael brown, it's often seemed in retrospect that this was a moment where the loathsome present really crystallized
for my part, the response to the game was beyond all expectation; kotaku linked it and totally obliterated my webhosting, incurring a huge overage charge. i was a poor grad student and people helped crowdfund the cost. that was amazing, but the whole thing kind of scared me, honestly!
that's mainly why my projects from this point scaled back, then ended as i turned my mind toward finishing grad school: i didn't have the time or resources to technically expand in the ways that i wanted, and furthermore i was leery of becoming a guy who was expected to make Statements.
the intervening years have been… well, they've been something. you were there, presumably. one of the people namechecked in the game's author notes, a target of harassment at the time, is now a noted unprincipled political hack, and i'm not talking about zizek. but remember quoting zizek?
the world turns. i recorded my first podcast because of this game. it got onto people's best of the year lists. paste called it "the indie game of the year." it won the xyzzy award for best npc.
and none of the stuff that distressed me so much that i made the game went anywhere.
there was a lot of talk in the early 2010s about the power of games to change people and make them better. and i think that's probably true--all encounters with art can change you, for better and worse--but i've long been skeptical of strong and positive claims for art's "efficacy."
i didn't think my game was going to solve any problems, but it was at least going to index them. and i think it indexed gamergate, though it did nothing to stop that ravening, juvenile nostalgia mindset from wholly subsuming the gamer cultural sphere, to say nothing of spheres beyond it
Liz Ryerson, another influence on UWWFN, recently wrote a long essay about just this.
but one thing the game's reception did show me is that there are in fact people who want to think, ant to interrogate the easy bindings between experience and unreflective thought, and find ways of thinking and feeling contrary to the ever-rising tide of culture's venom. the world is not settled.
the game cemented my friendship with Cameron Kunzelman, and the podcasting work we've since done for Ranged Touch has been (to my mind) more useful in this regard than any game i could make, modeling engagement with the weirdness of both art and the world critically and thoughtfully. and gaming is not kaput! i was fortunate to make connections within the twitter dev scene, and currently work at Half Mermaid on a project that will not make you a better person, but might offer ways for thinking about life in a turbulent world where our ugliness is sold back to us at a premium.
10 years is somehow both a short time and, it turns out, an incredibly long time. a lot happens, and it's never enough, and it's also way too much. and sometimes a decade on, even when you're a guy who doesn't want to make Statements you still feel like there's something worth remarking upon. thanks

Headcanon that Daisy didn’t recognize Jon’s shirt as “not his style” because the america shirt was weird but the other way around, he always wears shirts with the stupidest quotes on them and this one was normal and regular
You cannot tell me Jon wouldn’t roll up to the archive in a ratty T-shirt that says “premium cement mix” or “banned from Walmart for eating frozen peas off the floor”
That and his disgusting has never seen the washer, 50 different patches and still holed cardigan. The gross cardigan if you will. My OG tumblr friends will know what Jon’s gross cardigan is about

ok wait what would Dominic think if the reader could speak another language he wasn’t familiar with in the slightest and he hears them on the phone talking to someone in said language? Especially if they’re giggling at whoever’s on the opposite end…🫣
OOOOOOH, that will NOT end well for everybody involved.
Dominic's an intelligent man; too smart for his own good, if you ask me. But his knowledge extends primarily to the art of manipulation, the odd historic period here and there, how to cook certain recipes, and, of course, French and English.
So, when he hears you sounding a little too pleased while talking in another tongue he doesn't know, a few things are running through his mind: who are you talking to ? What are they saying to you ? Why doesn't he understand what you're saying ?
Honestly, he's the kind of guy to take his own shortfalls personally; hearing you talk in a language unfamiliar to him cements the idea in his mind that he isn't god's gift to the world - that there are still things outside of his control.
This, he cannot allow. That gaping hole in his chest, the one that deflates his ego the longer it's left unattended, has got to go.
First, he tries complementing you, telling you "How beautiful those words sound rolling off your tongue, mon Cher," before trying to get you to say what the language is. He'll never ask you for it. He can't be seen as lesser than because he can't pick up on the phonetics of a language unknown to him.
The minute you're out of sight, he's pulling out all the stops: buying premium subscriptions to the top language learning apps, signing up to courses taught by the world's leading polyglots, making "friends" with people he discovers are native speakers of your coveted dialect, emptying bookstores located three hours out of town of any and all literature written in that language.
Nobody can know of his pursuit of this forbidden knowledge.
And, of course, he'll discover who it was you were laughing with. Find out where they live, work - even offer them a job at his company (if their qualifications align with those of the average employee beneath his iron grip) to make sure he can control their schedule and ensure no time for phone calls of any kind. Especially with you.

Why can't the owners sell this little house that Chip & Joanna Gaines restored for them in 2016? It was built in 1920, in Waco, Texas, of course, & the buyers, who got the home for free, paid $5K to move it from its original spot plus $31K for the lot where it currently sits. It has 1bd, 1ba, was listed in 2017 for $950K, relisted in Oct. 2023 for the same price, & the current list price of $799,500 comes out to $761 per sq. ft. for the 1,050-sq. ft. home. Let's take a look.
The walls are pale putty, Joanna's signature color, and the pine floors were restored.
Plain black countertops were chosen for a less expensive chic look.
The small kitchen has a white subway tile backsplash, bar seating, and open shelving.
View of the main living area from the loft. The exhaust hood has a hole, so I guess it filters the air before it comes out into the house.
This is the only bedroom. It's a good size, but not huge. The floating shelves in place of night stands are too high. I wonder if there's a way to shut those lamps off, without standing up, after you're thru reading in bed.
The single bath has an industrial aesthetic with a double cement sink. There's no tub, which some buyers may want.
It has a washer/dryer, which is always great.
In the loft is a den, but it could be a 2nd bedroom. The ladder is awkward, though, b/c it's on a pulley system that raises it up to the ceiling when not in use, b/c space is at a premium in the small house.
There's a wide cement path and room for plants along the side.
Spacious yard has a brick patio with soil for planting around it. I think that the price is the problem. Waco isn't as expensive as other places and what you're getting is basically a little larger than a tiny house.

Truly is a handy tool to be able to get conservatives around me infatuated with the ACA once you walk them thru the revenue generation + the fact that the wheels are not greased by their tax dollars, but Big Insurance foots the bill instead (not really footing a bill if they turn huge profits for it later, but)
The ACA is built for everyone. I have known doctors that are on ACA plans. It is not a shameful thing and it is not indicative of a financial failure to sign up. It is being a smart consumer! It is knowing your options! Sometimes it isn't the best choice for you, but arent you somewhat relieved that it's still there if your other choices fall thru? It's stability and it's something that saves your life and your loved ones lives.
A big reason the ACA is the target of so much misinformation is largely due to the fact that it is the stone that will take down Goliath, and political power is cemented by dodging those stones on campaign trails.
The ACA isn't even enough in my opinion! It's a skeleton to build from. First flaw in US healthcare was pre-existing conditions (risk pools). The ACA can be boiled down to its most base elements as "a for-profit health care model that does not use risk pools" OR "a health care model that becomes less profitable the less sick your customers are"
THIS was the olive branch across aisles in the spirit of maintaining profitability and related capital interests.
The ACA is a springboard for next levels of development like "a health care model that thrives without relying on profit from premiums". Solidify that stage and then build up again! We MUST go in stages to ensure we do not leave people behind or drop people who need us. The ACA is a fucking tank built to carry us all, baby.
And again:
OPEN ENROLLMENT IS ACTIVE RIGHT NOW! 11/1/2024 - 1/15/2025!
There are people waiting to help you sign up!
#Creepy chatter#Yeah I'm the one talking to dads around me lol#No one changes their mind in front of you but I'm glad they can get to a doctor now

POWERWOLF's latest studio album, "Wake Up The Wicked", came out in July via Napalm Records. The highly anticipated follow-up to the extremely successful "Call Of The Wild" (2021) was once again produced by Joost Van Den Broek at Sandlane Recording Facilities and marks a new benchmark and undisputed career highlight for the band. The new album is hard, surprising and full of variety. While staying true to their established, loved sound, POWERWOLF go one step further and showcase a different facet of their deft musical and technical skills. This is evident, for example, on the outstanding single "1589", which is based on a true story from the 16th century.
20 years after their formation in 2004, POWERWOLF are expanding their repertoire with the highest quality and adding many future live hits to their extraordinary discography. "Wake Up The Wicked" is yet another statement cementing the status of the band as a leading force in the world of heavy metal.
The first single from "Wake Up The Wicked", "1589" tells the story of Peter Stump, who lived near Cologne, Germany in the 16th century and is known today as the Werewolf Of Bedburg. After being defamed as a werewolf, the farmer confessed to several murders under torture and was cruelly executed on October 31, 1589. This morbid story has fascinated people all over the world ever since and has been picked up by National Geographic, among others.
For the video for "1589", POWERWOLF traveled to England to stage Stump's fate in the dark woods in a cinematic way. With carefully selected locations, countless actors and crew members, and impressive special effects, it marks the most elaborate music video production in the band's history to date.
POWERWOLF are undoubtedly one of the most celebrated and successful heavy metal bands of the last decade. Multiple No. 1 album chart entries, gold and platinum records, huge sold-out arena shows, as well as headline slots at the biggest festivals have paved their way. In 20 years of band history, POWERWOLF has made it to the very highest league of heavy metal.
POWERWOLF has conquered countless stages at the world's biggest summer festivals, and their last "Wolfsnächte" headline tours (2019, 2022),as well as their North American debut in early 2023, were almost completely sold out — resulting in a massive triumph. They have performed headlining sets at Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze, as well as held premium slots at genre festival giants such as Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, Masters Of Rock and many more, captivating enormous audiences. No other German metal band has been able to write a success story even remotely comparable in recent years.
The story of the frontrunners of today's German metal scene, POWERWOLF, began in 2004 and only knows one direction: ever upwards. Their trajectory may seem like something out of a fairytale, but it is the result of the band embodying the highest quality of heavy metal in the universe. Outstanding album production, bombastic live shows and a tireless drive for perfection on and behind the stage are what this exceptional band is known for around the world.
Over the course of their career, the band has not only fascinated metal fans, but has also won over international press and critics. Countless cover stories in the most important magazines, critics' awards such as the Metal Hammer Award, and effusive album and concert reviews underpin POWERWOLF's outstanding international status.
POWERWOLF is:
Attila Dorn - vocals Falk Maria Schlegel - organ Charles Greywolf - guitar Matthew Greywolf - guitar Roel van Helden - drums
