Our youngest kitten is so funny, I overslept my alarm for a lecture so I was lying in bed moaning how I need to track someone down and get their notes, and kitten was worried about the noise so he came up to me and started doing biscuits on my belly.

Now I have plenty of dough to make biscuits with, so I didn't mind, but I also hadn't eaten breakfast and my stomach started making sounds.

The sheer ALARM on this poor baby's face. Eyes wide, ears pinned back, looking at me in horror. Then he starts kneading faster. Ofc, my stomach and intestine start doing more noises. Kitten is distressed! Horrified! He probably thinks I'm dying and his tiny CPR is the only thing keeping me alive.

Eventually I can't keep my laughter in anymore so I get up and my stomach stops and this BABY starts meowing and cuddling up to me like he really did save my life and was overjoyed I made it by the skin of my teeth.

And then I got up and he went over to his food bowl and started meowing twice as hard.

how to successfully report and remove your stolen fic on c.ai:

aka don't use fics for c.ai bots... a story of a c.ai creator who fucked around & found out:

for any other author who gets their shit stolen by ai bots on c.ai this is what you need to do:

create an c.ai account

submit a support ticket

choose DMCA & Counter Notice as the issue

under "additional information" you must provide the following: — a description of your fic that is being infringed (where you published it, date, where you post, under what names, etc) — a description of the bot that is infringing your work (include name of bot, what parts it is infringing and author's name at minimum). — a statement that you are the copyright holder have not authorized use of your property/fic in this manner nor given it to the author of the bot.

you will have to give your contact info including your full legal name, address and telephone number

provide the link to your original work (where you published it first) and the link to the bot.

Attachments (up to 5 allowed): — IMPORTANT: make sure at least one of these attachments is an electronic signature using your full legal name. i used this site to get one for free (i attached both signed and typed). — the other attachments I used to show proof of my fic vs their bot and the exact word for word similarities. and also when they blatantly said they were reuploading the bot on their profile which is likely why c.ai banned the rest of their bots.

extra tips:

if your ticket submission is successful you will get an email with a ticket number.

c.ai is pretty responsive (1-2 business days) so i would give it that long before submitting a new ticket.

you must submit EVERYTHING as I have wrote it or they will ask you to resubmit an entirely new ticket. following up with missing info did not work.

if the bot gets reuploaded you still have to submit an entirely new ticket (make sure to save and reference your old ticket number in new ticket).

Maybe it's because I grew up without much money but every time I go grocery shopping (I do this online) I feel so fucking wealthy. I'm all like "you know I can save myself so much labour... and buy the apple pie THAT'S ALREADY MADE, haha, such an indulgence!" and "with the click of a button, THEY WILL BRING THE FOOD TO MY HOUSE! So luxurious!"

Last week I bought the kind of instant noodles that come in their own disposeable cups instead of the cheaper kind that you have to provide a bowl for and I'm still riding that high.

I keep talking about catzai, but cat!chuuya...he'd be such a dapper little fellow, but also capable of organized chaos when he feels like it

Like, he has his particular toys that he enjoys playing with, and Dazai will dangle a fake mouse in front of Chuuya to no avail. Chuuya just stares then looks away and goes back to grooming himself or loafing around

He's not necessarily high maintenance, but he loves structure. If he doesn't have his food ready at 6 am sharp, he'll paw at Dazai's door and sit by it meowing until he wakes Dazai up. Or if the door's open, he'll hop onto the bed and rub his face against Dazai trying to wake him up. And if THAT doesn't work, he'll tickle Dazai's nose with his tail and force him awake with a sneeze

He's a bit of a toebitter (but only with Dazai and because Dazai's dramatic reactions to being nipped on the toes or fingers amuse Chuuya)

Chuuya will come looking for pets and chin scritches only when he wants them, but Dazai will catch that rare moment of hanging out on the couch and cat!chuuya hops up and curls up next to him to keep him company

He likes falling asleep to the motions of having his back stroked and can be a purring machine when he wants to be (before he passes out)

Doesn't get late night zoomies very often, but if he knows there's a critter in the house, he'll plant himself right by a wall and refuse to move from the spot waiting for his time to strike. If he's running through the halls, then he's chasing something, and Dazai doesn't know whether to laugh or cry that he has another mouse that got in

Cat!Chuuya would either be the type to make biscuits in the blankets while he's staring down Dazai to assert his feline dominance or will straight up make biscuits against Dazai because it's comforting and he gets to bother Dazai

This started off as a neat little fun idea and nothing more, but my autism decided to finally take matters into its own hands.

A RoTTMNT playlist heavily inspired by the fanfic, "Mutant Ninja Midlife Crisis" by a_platypus; among different works like Trial & Error and Odd Man Out. Songs have been placed in specific order to MNMC, but can be enjoyed on shuffle as a general Rise playlist. TCEST DNI.

I looked at other playlists to see common themes and songs that are enjoyed by the average Rise fan, while also looking all over creation for songs that I thought would best fit MNMC specifically. I ended up finding a couple of awesome GVF songs along the way, that I'm genuinely surprised no one has used for anything remotely related to Rise?

Not a lot of future-Leo-goes-back-to-the-past type of playlists, but I really suck at finding things, so it's not like there isn't a lot out there. But anyway, I was a bit afraid that this playlist would be ooc for the fanfic because of my song choices? So, it kind of took me a while to make the actual playlist on Spotify, let alone make this post. But I know I'm simply overthinking it. It's the perfectionism talking.

Most of the songs have lyrics that align with major key points of the Rise movie and the fanfic, but other songs I also put there solely for the ✨vibes✨ and instrumentals really. I am still adding songs here n' there every so often, but I do plan on eventually cutting myself off from the playlist.

I was going for a "soundtrack" or "songs that sound like they belong in movies" type of feel for the whole thing, which I think I did okay on, but it kind of slowly turned more into a playlist where you can make cool animations or AMVs to; especially since this is not a listen-while-you-read type of playlist, because there's too much going on with the music in general.

Overall, just something I made out of appreciation that I think turned out okay.

Startled by the scream, I turned around to see the woman from earlier stabbing the man.

Kate: Eh...?

Emaciated Noblewoman: It's your fault, it's all your fault!

Presumed Husband: Gyaaaaaah, Hyyyaaaah!!

She stabbed him repeatedly, and the man's hand, which had been resisting, slipped to the ground.

Kate: !!

Passerby Man: Someone get a doctor!!

The woman, straddling the man, started laughing as a pool of blood spread across the ground.

Emaciated Noblewoman: I did it, I did it!

Emaciated Noblewoman: Now I'm free!

(Free...?)

The familiar word was what Nica had just told the woman, and--

I gasped and looked up to see him wearing a faint smile.

Kate: Nica...?

Emaciated Noblewoman: To think I no longer have to see him buy women and keep them in the mansion, their numbers ever increasing! It's heaven!

Emaciated Noblewoman: Yes, where is he!?

The screaming woman's gaze turned towards us.

Frightened by her wide eyes, I instinctively stepped back, but--.

Nica: ...Humans really are stupid, aren't they?

His muttered words reached only my ears.

The woman, having thrown away the knife, approached us and was stopped by the city police who had rushed to the scene, but she shouted to Nica,

Emaciated Noblewoman: See, now I'm free!

Emaciated Noblewoman: So choose me over her!

At her clearly deranged behavior, he stepped in front of me protectively.

Kate: Nica!

Then, he approached the woman and tightly grasped her hand.

Nica: Whether you're free or not, my lover is this girl.

Nica: I have no intention of going out with any other woman, and besides, we only talked once, right?

The moment he let go of her hand, the stunned woman began to tremble.

Nica: Auf Wiedersehen. We'll probably never meet again.

*Auf Wiedersehen is "goodbye," but literally translates to "until we see each other again." In this context, Nica may have said it with a sarcastic underdone, saying goodbye while implying that he hopes he never sees her again.

He gave her a cold look, put his arm around my waist, and started walking.

Emaciated Noblewoman: W-what? Why did I do this?

Emaciated Noblewoman: Noooooooooo!!

Nica: Don't look.

He pulled me closer, and as we walked away, the woman's cries echoed behind us, a stark contrast to her earlier triumphant shouts.

In the quiet city night, away from the commotion,

Nica: Oh dear, we wasted time on something unnecessary despite being on a date.

My heart was still pounding loudly.

Nica: You must have been scared. I was surprised too; I never thought she would kill someone.

Kate: ...Didn't you use your ability?

Nica: Eh?

He stopped walking and looked at me with a puzzled expression.

Kate: Didn't you use your ability to charm her and make her kill him?

My voice trembled, but I couldn't help but ask.

(Nica's ability is to charm people, and the condition for activation is to hold their hand.)

(At that time, Nica held the woman's hand and told her to be brave.)

After that, she seemed to become like a different person and killed someone. Then, when he held her hand again, she seemed to return to her senses. Seeing this,

Kate: I can't imagine her changing like that unless you used your ability.

That was more than enough reason to believe he had used his ability.

Silence fell, and only the sound of the river flowing reached my ears.

How much time had passed? A heavy atmosphere lingered until he finally sighed.

Nica: ...What if I said I did use it?

Kate: Huh...?

Nica: But there's no proof that I used it, and it was her own will that killed her husband, right?

Nica: I didn't tell her to kill him.

Nica: Well, it's true that there were dark rumors about him.

Seeing his nonchalant attitude, I was at a loss for words.

Nica: He was killed because of a grudge.

Nica: I have nothing to do with it.

His demeanor, as if the man deserved to be killed, made me feel a chill down my spine.

(Why...?)

Today was fun, he was a wonderful person, and I felt happy spending time with him.

I didn't realize.

(I didn't know anything about the true nature of Vogel.)

Just like Crown, who punishes evil with evil, Nica, who belongs to Vogel, might also be on the side of evil.

Nica: Hey, little Robin. Am I the bad guy?

Kate: I don't know if you're a bad guy or not.

Kate: But if you really did use your ability...

Kate: I despise you for turning a woman who wasn't supposed to be a murderer into one.

Nica: ...Hah.

His scornful laughter made me flinch, but I continued to stare at him without fear.

Nica: You really are an interesting girl.

He took a step closer, then another, and before I knew it, I was cornered against the railing.

Nica: But this is troubling. I don't want you to hate me.

Nica: Because right now, I seriously want to make you fall for me.

Kate: !

Suddenly, he grabbed my chin and forced me to look up.

His face was so close that our lips almost touched, and his sensual scent tickled my nose as I held my breath.

His deep blue eyes narrowed seductively, capturing my gaze, and he whispered,

Nica: Hey, why don't we...

His sweet and charming voice, like a whisper, temptingly swayed my heart.

Nica: ...really start dating?

(Oh, maybe I can't go back anymore.)
