Sometimes, I have a dream where I wake up, and every woman on the planet is pregnant. Just overnight. Every single one of us in varying stages of pregnancy. It’s all over the news; no one knows how or why it happened, but we are all pregnant. Over the course of weeks, women get to revel in their femininity and motherhood. Some women give birth, only to find themselves pregnant again. The world is turned on its head and becomes a better place for pregnant women, only because it has no choice. Bellies grow and breasts fill with milk. Gah, I love when I have that dream.

Yesterday I completed another orbit around the sun. I can't say it has been the best year of my life, but I can say I've been extremely blessed 🙏 and thankful for everything I have been given, even the bad, because it's made me learn so much. I have overcome SO MANY obstacles, some which I NEVER thought I would have to face. But this has once again proven how strong and resilient I am as a person, and as a woman. My absolute biggest blessing is currently residing inside of me... and I will be welcoming her in 3 short months! 👶 The joy and strength my children have given me, trumps all the horrible moments I've had to endure thus far. So I start this new year full of positivity, hope and faith that NOTHING but good things and blessings will continue to come my way. Challenges or not, I never back down... I am woman hear me ROAR! 💕💕 . A huge "Thank You" to all of you who took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday, specially to my girls for making my birthday-eve night special by taking this pregnant momma out 🥰 You rock! ❤️ . Blog Post #7- 31 October 2020-Halloween My Baby’s!

Happy Halloween spooky people 🎃

Ahh what an exciting day! Not only is it halloween m’mama’s, it’s the day that my partner/baby daddy/love of my life moves in and I’m soooo excited you have NO IDEA! Need to enjoy the last month alone until we have a little babe around! Now I know what you’re probably thinking...you guys are moving in together a month before having a baby?? Why don’t you already live together??

 WELL. 

Truth is we’ve basically lived together for the last 2 years (in Edmonton) because I would spend weeks at a time at his place, even though I still kept my own apartment. I’m a very independent momma, and I’m young so I didn’t want to give up my space even though I barely used it in the last 2 years, you know? It worked great honestly! But when we got pregnant we knew that we wanted to be able to buy a house ASAP so we don’t have to rent anymore. Only problem is that it is so ridiculously expensive to live in Canada. So, I moved back to Calgary and into my parents home back in September, and my partner is moving down today finally to join me! Not only are my parents being super generous in letting us stay here so we can save up, but they are very excited to get to have babe and us around. We feel very fortunate (especially me) to have their support. Both my partner and I are just starting out in life, so we know we’ll both need to work in order to support our family, so knowing we have people around us that are so selfless and willing to help us out is great. The first year or two of babes life I’ll be home with her, so I’m happy that I have my parents here to help me out and keep me company while Sean works (hey, I’ve never been a mom before so I don’t know what the heck I’m doing!)

Ugh, I just feel very thankful today. The gratitude practice I did this morning really has done wonders. I’ll post it incase there’s any pregnant momma’s (or just regular mommas, or even non-mommas) that need a little pick me up. #gratitude

Anyways, what are you guys doing to celebrate Halloween?! Big quarantine party plans? Still going trick or treating with your kiddos? I wanna know!

I know everything is different this year with the pandemic, and I’m sure it’s different then people thought this year’s halloween was going to go, but I know all you guys are creative and will still have a bomb.com halloween extravaganza. Feel free to message me with pictures of costumes or just with stories about how your night goes! What are you gonna dress up as?? These are the questions that haunt my mind (pun intended).

Alright, I guess I’ve rambled on long enough. I should really finish this smoothie and get my fat pregnant butt to the gym after all the candy, icecream, and McDonalds I’ve eaten in the last two days (totally worth it). Hey, its halloween so I had to indulge! Plus I only have a month left of carrying this babe around in my tummy, I better enjoy and take advantage of all the snacks while I can! #snackcidentsarereal
