Almost as though the possible worlds are possible choices at the macro level, and the same way we make little decisions, the collective conscious has a sort of emergent free will?

Linear Regression -

Naive Bayes Algorithm - 

A Naive Bayes classifier assumes that the presence of a particular feature class is unrelated to the presence of any other feature.

A Naive Bayesian model is easy to build and useful for massive datasets. It's simple and is known to outperform even highly sophisticated classification methods.

K-Means - 

An unsupervised machine learning algorithm that solves clustering problems.

In this algorithm, k number of points called centroids for each cluster. Each data point forms a cluster with the closest centroids. The nearest distance for each data point is determined. This process is repeated.

Random Forest Algorithm -

All algorithms are error prone. Collective wisdom is generally higher than individual wisdom. Ensemble Learning generates a group of base learners and combined results gives higher accuracy.

Two major ensemble learning methods include bagging and boosting. Random Forest Algorithm is an ensemble learning technique.

 Gradient Boosting Algorithm - 

Gradient Boosting Algorithm is significantly useful in huge datasets demanding predictions with high accuracy. 

In the Boosting algorithm, the decision trees are trained in a sequence and learn from the previous tree by focusing on incorrect observations.

What are the prospects for the Spanish sides?

Real Madrid are, of course, always dangerous in this competition and will have added motivation after failing badly in the past couple of years with consecutive last-16 exits.

Barcelona have started the season brightly but realistically the squad is too shallow and blighted by too many flaws for them to be considered among the favourites.

Atletico Madrid, though, could go a long way: they will be strong at the back as always, and if the new strike pairing of Luis Suarez and Joao Felix fulfils its potential they'll be hard to stop.

And Sevilla? Underestimate them at your peril.

Who is your tip to win the Champions League and why?

Right now it's hard to look past Bayern Munich, considering how superior they were to every other team at the end of last season.

But winning the competition two years in a row is notoriously difficult, and I have a feeling we'll see a very strong challenge from the team who historically like to believe they own this competition: Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane can call upon genuine world-class quality throughout the squad and has plenty of match-winning options in attack, especially if Eden Hazard can get fit, stay fit and start to show his true ability. So I'll take Real Madrid.

Which team could be the surprise package?

Sevilla have made the Europa League their own, winning it four times since 2014. And under the leadership of canny coach Julen Lopetegui, they look ready to step up to the Champions League. The Andalusians don't have the quality in attack to be potential winners, but they could go deep into the knockout stages.

Bayern Munich addressed the issues regarding their squad late in the transfer window and remain among the strongest teams in Europe. They are capable of defending the title, but it is more likely we will see a slight drop in performance this season.

Borussia Dortmund should win their group and reach at least the quarter-finals if they manage to keep the defence healthy.

RB Leipzig could battle Manchester United for second spot in Group H. Even without Timo Werner, last season's semi-finalists are tough to beat thanks to Julian Nagelsmann's analytical mind and a squad full of highly athletic players.

Borussia Monchengladbach should see their participation in this year's competition as a chance to learn and grow.

Who is your tip to win the Champions League and why?

I don't see a clear-cut favourite this year, as the two previous winners have to deal with some issues that might hinder them from winning it again.

So my money is on Real Madrid. They are the total package with a mix of veteran players and rising stars, and an experienced coach on the sidelines.

Federico Valverde, Martin Odegaard and Vinícius Júnior represent the new generation, while Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos have enough left in the tank to get one more Champions League trophy.

Zidane might not be the tactical genius that some of his peers are, but he knows how to manage a tight schedule and guide a team through the obstacles of a knockout stage.

Which team could be the surprise package?

Borussia Dortmund have the raw talent to be the dark horse in this year's Champions League. They are able to beat any team in the world on a good day and will only get better, as most of their key players are fairly young.

What are the prospects for the English sides?

Liverpool, with their past record of success, are England's best prospect to win the Champions League. Manchester City have the talent but there is something about this competition that always seems to trip them up. Is it lack of belief? Is it Pep Guardiola's tactical mistakes?

I can see Chelsea making it out of a group that is relatively kind but in their current form and condition I do not see Manchester United getting anywhere near the knockout stage when faced with the likes of PSG and RB Leipzig. Things can change in that time for United, but they would have to change a lot.

Who is your tip to win the Champions League and why?

At this stage I would say my two favourites would be Liverpool and the holders Bayern Munich.

Liverpool still look so strong, although they did not get past the last 16 last season when they went out to Atletico Madrid, but now of course they have Thiago Alcantara, such a key figure in Bayern's triumphs.

The usual suspects such as PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid will be involved but I will go for a straight fight between Liverpool and Bayern - with Liverpool my tip.

Which team could be the surprise package?

Hard to see anyone coming out of the traditional pack but Atletico Madrid, under the inspirational leadership of Diego Simeone, are always a threat, as Liverpool found to their cost last season.

Atletico have had so many near misses with the Champions League but they have added to their squad with Luis Suarez and no-one will want to draw them.

The other possibility? Sevilla - they showed once again what European specialists they are by winning the Europa League.

What are the prospects for the French sides?

It's hardly sticking my neck out to suggest PSG will challenge strongly again.

Yes, they've lost Thiago Silva, but with Marquinhos replacing him in central defence and as captain, and Danilo Pereira's arrival in midfield, Thomas Tuchel's men are stronger and better balanced.

Andre Villas-Boas worked a miracle to get Marseille back into the competition for the first time since 2013-14, but even with Florian Thauvin fit again, the squad looks thin - a helpful draw might see them sneak into the knockout stages though.

Group-stage debutants Rennes will surely struggle with the step up in class, and grabbing third place would be a success.

Who is your tip to win the Champions League and why?

Can you look beyond Bayern Munich? The Champions League is a notoriously fiendish title to defend, but the 2019-20 winners' success in Lisbon in the summer will motivate, not sate, them. They have not stood still since either: Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (don't laugh!) is great back-up to Robert Lewandowski, and though Thiago has left, Bayern already had an upgrade in Joshua Kimmich.

Their veterans, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller, enjoyed one of their best seasons last term, and young talents such as Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane will only keep improving.

Hansi Flick's men will again be the team to beat.

Which team could be the surprise package?

They've been drawn in the toughest section of all, but Istanbul Basaksehir will be no meek victims of Group H. The Turkish champions - that already says something about their quality - have former Manchester United defender Rafael and ex-Liverpool man Martin Skrtel at the back, while ex-West Ham United, Newcastle United and Chelsea forward Demba Ba is up front.

What are the prospects for the Italian sides?

It is difficult to imagine an Italian club winning the Champions League.

You can't rule out a team fielding Cristiano Ronaldo but Juventus have a young manager in Andrea Pirlo, are in the process of rejuvenating their squad and lack quality in midfield. Their quest to end a 24-year wait will continue.

Inter proved their worth as they reached the final of last season's Europa League and have since signed Achraf Hakimi and Arturo Vidal. Their focus will be on the league title though, something Antonio Conte sees as a necessary step to form a winning mentality.

Lazio do not have the depth to fight on the domestic and European stage and will struggle to keep up on both.

Who is your tip to win the Champions League and why?

Not even the Oracle of Delphi can predict in October who is to win the Champions League in May! Form, injuries and Covid-19 will all play a role. Will there be another lockdown? Who is going to be the fittest when it really comes to it?

In my opinion, the eventual winner will come from England. Spanish clubs haven't invested enough, a second win for Bayern seems unrealistic and Italian clubs lack that extra bit of quality.

Liverpool and Manchester City, as long as Sergio Aguero recovers and Ruben Dias proves capable of filling Vincent Kompany's boots, are my favourites, with PSG their main danger.

Which team could be the surprise package?

Atalanta already reached the quarter-finals in their maiden Champions League campaign and could do even better.

The Nerazzurri have gathered European experience in the past few years and this will be Gian Piero Gasperini's fifth season in Bergamo. His team play with heart and are a joy to watch. If Josip Ilicic reaches top form they will be a threat to anyone.

Okay, wait wait wait. You predicted the saltwater? How did you come to the conclusion that there would be saltwater? Because I was a bit confused by that in Nona cause it is clearly significant but I can't figure out how. Was there something in gtn or ntn that I missed?

For reference: on my pre-Nona list of predictictions I had "beach trip for narrative saltwater reasons" and was absolutely delighted to see I got it!

Unfortunately I don't have my copies of Gideon or Harrow on me right now so I can't pull quotes, but to my recollection every time saltwater or brackish water has been mentioned, it's had some vague connection to necromancy. Of course, in Gideon there's the stipulation that Harrow can only tell the secret of her birth submerged in saltwater--that has more overtones of ritual purity or baptism than effect on necromantic ability, but noticeable. In Harrow, the River is described as having brackish water (mixed saltwater and freshwater), Alecto is referred to as a "saltwater creature", and I feel like there's more?? but I cannot remember off the top of my head. I gathered through just vague vibes and connections that saltwater had some sort of tie to necromancy in some way or another.

I had gathered from the very brief preview of Nona I allowed myself to read that they were on an unflipped planet with potentially safe and unfucked-up beaches and that Nona seemed like the kind of person who would want to go to the beach. And I'm always a sucker for a good beach episode in shows or books, and it seemed like the kind of thing Tamsyn Muir would put in in a referential sort of way. And naturally, she never does anything just for a single reason, so obviously it must be for narrative reasons. I think that was my thought process? I made that list in an absolute haze of pre-Nona mental zoomies, so I could not retrace my thinking for most of them if I tried, unfortunately.

Dance With Devils (2015) episodes: 12 started: 1-3-29 finished 1-6-29 rating: 5/10*

* okay rating this one was hard because it was fantastically trite but strangely entertaining. Almost every popular character type and genre trope was used to horribly predictictable ends with the strange addition of musical numbers. I almost wished the creators either took the story more seriously or really leaned into this with a more parody feel.

I watched this one with a friend and have to say we had a great time creating our own color commentary and predicting plot points. So for shear entertainment value I give it a 9/10.

CAOS Part 3 and 4 predictions.

Yep, this is premature but I need y'all to hear this idea

Evil Sabrina in part 3.

Hear me out. You've already heard my Theory that what Satan wants with Sabrina. He wants the newer, younger, BETTER Lilith.

So something happens. A fight with her aunts, a fight with Nick or Harvey, Father Blackwood tries to kill her. ANYTHING. It just need to make her do something unforgivable.

She joins Satan and Lilith realizes shes getting fucked over. They fight and we learn that Sabrina is more powerful than Lilith. But Lilith has the years of experiance to hold her ground until a strategic retreat. The whole time through that fight though I want Lilith and Satan trying to fuck with Sabrinas head. I want some serious desperation moves from her too. Like she summons BattyBat only to kill her as soon as she arrives and uses battybats blood to fuel her own power.

Then Lilith can run to Zelda and ask her to help get Sabrina back to the right side of things. If Zelda already knows shes Lilith she could easily make up some sob story about how she WAS once a witch excommunicated from her coven for loving a mortal. But that was a long time ago. Back when she was Sabrinas age. Satan saw her desperation and did to her for decades what hes doing to Sabrina. Groomed her just the same. Doesn't have to be true but Zelda would buy that story.

Part 4 would be Zelda, Hilda and Lilith fighting to get Sabrina back. All her mortal friends would be there too in the end. Bonus points for the scene where they relize they need Harvey and Zelda and Madam Satans skin is crawling, being in the same side as a witch hunter.

They eventually make Sabrina see reason. And Together they all take down Satan. Zelda, Lilith and Sabrina using raw power to fight. Hilda coordinating all Sabrinas mortal and Witch friends. Suzie and Roz working together. Roz predicticting attacks and Suize standing to protect civilans (maybe with Harvey) Prudence and co in a litteral bloodbath holding the line against 1000 demons.

And when Satan falls Lilith ascends to queen of Hell

Oh satan please give me this ending.

3x12 Wayhaught

Some people are complaining about the Wayhaught proposal, how is not the time for them to get married and doubting Nicole’s answer.

I don’t get how you can think she would say no to Waverly after the tattoo chat with Wynonna.

Being engaged doesn’t mean they’re gonna have the wedding two days after. They can wait as long as they want or need to. They have to talk about a lot of things including what they expect/want their future to be. 

I’m not a fan of proposals after big events like a near death experience or a baby but I feel Waverly realized how fragile are their lives and wanted to show Nicole that she feels the same. It was her way to prove her that she really really loves her.

The first thing Nicole is going to say to Waverly when they can hug each other again is “yes”

P.S. I need new interviews now the season is over, so we can understand some things and keep predicticting, poorly, what will happen next year.

Gutter Child, by Jael Richardson, takes place on the Mainland, a land mass with a long and brutal history of colonialism, racism, and classism. However,these concepts are never spoken in the novel. The Sossi people, who are referred to as Gutter people in the narrative, are separated from the Mainlanders. The main character Elimina was taken out of her home for a special project to live in a place where nobody looked like her. I feel as though the author didn’t put much thought into making the story more unexpected and interesting. As I was reading the book I would be able to predict most of the major plot points that were going to happen. For example, when Elimina got her red coat I knew she would lose it for character development. That is why I felt that the plot should’ve had more attention than it already did. A good thing about the novel is how it was able to portray social justice issues. It pointed them out and showed how they had an effect on so many families while doing it in a way that makes them feel like real people with emotions.

I think the novel is a very interesting and new way to look at racism. It shows you at the shoes of the oppressed instead of the oppressor. It allows you to understand how the characters feel and become empathetic towards their situation. This book had a spectacular setting and exceptional characters which can be easily expandable into a movie. The only thing I feel was lacking is the plot. It had predictable twists and turns which I feel could have headed in a few different directions instead of just one. It would’ve made the reader think twice before predicticting what would happen next and make the book more enjoyable overall. I would recommend it because of the way it presents racism and discrimination. It helps us better understand how people would act towards racism which inturn will make us more sympathetic towards it. I would recommend the book because of what you learn about racism and discrimination.

John Cage - 4′33 For Piano

I found this piece by John Cage a really interesting insight on how we experience a lack of music or silence. When he first initially lifts his hand as if to play the piano I noticed my brain had already played the sound of the piano in my mind as if predicticting the sound that was going to be made. I only became aware of myself having done this due to the fact that no sound was actually created and yet I felt like I had heard it. This happened again later in the piece when he moves his hand again. Throughout the other moments of the piece I found myself becoming more aware of the other sounds in the film, mostly the sounds of the audience shuffling. As well as the sounds in my own environment, sounds of people moving, coughing, the various machines whirring. 

It could be interesting to further explore this idea of a lack of sound and the effects that this can have on the audience.
