😢 Terribly sad to hear about the 20 renowned gray wolves recently killed just outside of @yellowstonenps 🐺💔 These wolves roamed from the park and were shot by hunters in recent months primarily in Montana — the most killed by hunting in a single season since they were reintroduced to the region more than 25 years ago, according to park officials. 🤲👉 What can you do to help protect these amazing creatures? This beauty is Kakoa, and she really does have eyes that pierce your soul. This one-on-one encounter was such an awe-inspiring experience, and I would recommend @predatorsoftheheart to anyone. It leaves you with an overwhelming love for these creatures, who deserve so much more respect than we give them. 🐺An exceptional day spent at the beautiful @predatorsoftheheart Wolf Sanctuary in Anacortes, Washington. Dave Coleburn, the Founder and Chef Animal Whisperer, and his assistant Bethany, very kindly took us on an adventurous tour of the sanctuary grounds, including making new friends (and howling) with wolf pups and wolves 🌾 South American armadillos 🐼 the most precious little Asian silver fox named Pepper, alligators, a silky soft skunk 🐍 an albino cobra 💤 and a few very, fashionably-late sloths 🙏🏼💓 Forever grateful for this experience, found via @airbnbexperiences, we can’t recommend this enough and look forward to our next visit here.
