Senior Trip

The senior trip experience is now more detailed. Instead of your Sim voting and immediately going to the senior location, they will have to go through a few additional steps.

Sim World Names

Furthermore, I have added the option to go on the trip with Sims from existing worlds in the game, rather than worlds that do not "exist" in the game. You can choose which file you want to download.

Pre-Senior Trip Meeting

The new features that I have added, Pre-Senior Trip Meetings, are meant to enhance the immersive experience. Your sim will be more actively involved in making the Senior Trip happen.

Before going on the trip, your sim will need to attend three senior trip meetings. I designed this to be flexible, allowing players with shorter lifespans to time the meetings as they prefer. For example, if someone has Seasons installed, they could attend meetings weekly, corresponding to the seasons (summer, fall, winter), and then go on the trip in spring. This is just one example of how you can use the mod.

After the first senior trip meeting, your sim will need to vote on a location. If you've used this mod before, you're familiar with the process. You will vote, and a few hours later, you will receive a notification about the chosen location.

After the first meeting, you will be able to attend your second one. During the second meeting, you will vote on the fundraiser that your sim and their peers will be organizing. Your sim will leave the meeting, and a few hours later, they will receive a notification.

Wait until you receive a call from the student. You will notice that there will still be the option to go to the 2nd meeting, ignore it though. Once you receive the you will immediately be able to attend the fundraiser, but be careful, it may flop.

Fundraisers

Once you receive a call about the fundraiser, you have a few options. For Movie Night and Game Night, you can purchase games, which will greatly contribute to the success of the fundraiser.

Additionally, you can make a post about the fundraiser. If you have enough followers or a high enough charisma level, your post may go viral, significantly boosting the fundraiser's success.

If your class chose the bake sale, you can even bake goods and bring them to the event. It will bring joy to everyone, and if your baked goods are excellent, the chances of a successful bake sale will be much higher.

(After you finish baking the food all you have to do is put it in your inventory before going to the fundraiser)

Final Step

After the fundraiser, your sim will be able to go on their final pre-senior trip meeting. This meeting is just a debrief of how the fundraiser went. After the meeting, you will be able to go on the senior trip.

Contextual buffs after certain interactions

Depending on certain interaction and relationship bit status your sims may get contextual buffs.

For example here a some buffs that your sims may get after getting into a relationship:

Set Relationship Bits using the Relationship Panel

You can now set the relationship bits using the relationship panel. It will still be in the same location, but now the sim does not have to be present for you to be able to set the bits.

Hello Everyone! I'm super excited to announce my new sketch collection Artbook: ✿Halcyon Days✿

I decided to go the pre-order route this time to make the process smoother, since I've got a great system for fulfilling orders through my own shop, and I have some funds to start the production right away!

In order to secure the rest of the production funding, and to allow myself more time to work on Gloamingvale's Chapter 1, I am hoping to get as many preorders as possible quickly, and offering a big early-bird discount for the new book, as well as a big spring sale on the rest of my shop items! There will also be a couple of bundle-options available, with a big discount as well.

Let me tell you more about the book: I've been putting it together for the past couple of months, and ended up with a lot more pages than I anticipated. It's brimming with a huge variety of sketches! I included a ton of sketchbook scans, digital doodles, and all the fanarts that didn't make it into my previous artbooks. Here are the book details:

I have already begun production and the estimated preorder ship-out date is: Early-Mid AUGUST 2024

I love you paint by numbers kits.

Coloring books. Clay statuettes that come with small pots of paint and a brush that leaks hairs like it was a job. Craft kits of all shapes and sizes and methods and media.

I love you "how to draw" books detailing the extremely simple to the extremely advanced. I love that you exist in libraries and in PDFs.

I love you wooden models awaiting a coat of paint and a design. Paper dolls. Watercolor kits. Acrylic kits. Foam cutout kits.

I love you art supplies marked "academic" or "student" or "elementary." I love you tempera paint. I love that you are priced so cheaply. That you are frequently washable.

I love you color pencils that blend... ish.

I love you office supply highlighters. #2 pencils. Cheap glue. Modeling clay that dries in the air. Watercolor kits that require a solid concept of forgiveness with color mixing.

I love you pre-stretched canvas. Canvas boards. Cheap notebooks. Cheap sketchbooks on sale from store brands designed to lure you into the store, hoping you'll buy other things.

I love you art store discount bins.

I love you construction paper. Scissors that hardly cut.

Digital art programs that offer the chance to create wherever whenever however.

I love you art supplies that help anyone discover the sheer unbelievable magic of transforming something in the world that is not of their aesthetic into something that is.

Even if it is the bare minimum of quality.

Even if it is sloppy.

Even if it is impermanent. Fades, chips, decays nearly immediately.

Thanks to ingek73 for making me heartsick- I am so in love with this home in Amsterdam, I could cry that I don't have €5M /$5.43M to buy it. There are actually 2 units included in the sale of the pre-1906 building for a total of 4bds & 3ba. So, there's rental income. Let's go to the owner's apt. first (well, it's the one I would choose).

Beautiful marble hallway.

Then, progress to the beautiful modern curved hallway inside the unit.

I love the murals. The living room faces a wall of glass doors that open to a deck and garden.

Beautiful deck- look at the windows in the ivy wall.

Skylights run across the whole mural wall, too.

Beautiful dining area is spacious.

And, a lovely kitchen with open shelving and a large counter that accommodates at least 6.

Window nook. Isn't that cute?

Plus, an intimate conversation nook/tv room. Such unique features. That looks so comfy.

The guest power room in the hall is dazzling.

Huge wide halls look like an art gallery.

The bedroom is gigantic and has a gorgeous sitting room. Plus a huge skylight over the bed.

The double sink is in the corner of the room, outlined in neon. And, behind the double doors is the en-suite.

The shower is stunning.

The walk-in closet.

Sweet nursery. I love the niche for the toddler bed- looks like royalty.

The en-suite is mirrored. Look at the sink.

Now let's go down to the other unit. What a lovely leaded glass window depicting a spinning wheel.

This unit is gorgeous, also. It's more of an industrial loft look.

The open floor plan has a spacious layout and the mirror wall in the living room area makes it look larger.

The kitchen is very large

There is space to spare. Look at it all, and it has lots of natural light.

The primary bedroom is big enough for a sitting area.

Look at all the cubbies in the home gym.

Nice timeless tile in the shower room.

The building is right on the canal.

Pride Angels launches tomorrow! In advance of the launch, here is some information about the campaign, please read the pre-launch page FAQ for more details if you haven't already.

Pride Angels launches 9AM PST June 24 2024, alongside our partner campaign Pride Potions.

You will need a Backerkit account to pledge, you can make one here.

If you pledge to both Pride Angels and Pride Potions you'll receive a pair of exclusive freebie pins.

There are freebie sticker rewards for Returning and Early Bird backers (who pledge in the first 48 hours of the campaign).

Pride Angel pins will be $14 each, with a discount if you select the pledge tier for four pins or more.

Stickers will be $2 each.

There will be a $5 pledge level available if you want to pledge for just the cross-collab freebie pins and freebies.

There will be ten Design Request pledge levels available. If you pledge for one of these you can request a flag and a theme for a new angel to be added to the roster. This is the final chance to get an angel added to the series, I am not adding any more outside these requests. The Design Request pledge level will be $100 and include merch of the sponsored angel design if funded.

Based on sales from my previous Pride Angels series, only a certain set of most popular flags will be available to fund as pins during the campaign. The rest will be funded in the survey/post-campaign preorder store depending on order quantity.

There will be seven Guest Artist pin designs to fund in addition to my designs.

We have stretch goals to add keychains, patches, and lanyards to the campaign in addition to the initial sticker and pin goals.

The campaign will end July 19 2024 at 9PM PST.

If you miss the campaign, you can preorder the pins in the post-campaign preorder store, but you will not receive the campaign freebies.
