i am genuinely tweaking over the fact that macgyver (2016) practically glosses over the fact that Mac was straight up!!! Lying!!!! to bozer for YEARS.
this would have been such good material to use to explore Mac and Bozer's relationship, and how complex the situation was bc YES it feels like a betrayal but it's also Mac simply protecting Bozer from his dangerous life and still keeping him close despite the danger, despite the very real possibility of bozer accidentally finding out or simply using bozer to get to Mac.
NOT TO MENTION. Boze was Mac's only link to something not remotely related to his job!!! the only bit of normal in his chaotic life!!!!
both of them having to find their footing again after the reveal bc nothing can go back to normal. like. bozer thinking back to all the weird injuries mac returned home with from his think tank business trips, all the lies, all the secrecy, all the time. justified hurt on bozer's side as well as understanding bc if the roles were reversed wouldn't bozer also lie to keep his closest friend safe? understanding the reason doesn't make the years of lies hurt any less.

she was booked and busy since she was a child 😭 so here’s a timeline!
2007 - 2011 (Age 7-11)
Age 7 — Rides her first mini-moto. Falls twice. Rides again.
Age 8 — Joins a weekend karting league “just to try it.” Becomes the fastest in the junior category in three weeks. Parents tell her she has to pick one. She refuses.
Age 10 — Trains on bikes in the morning and karts at night. Never complains. Just sweats motor oil.
2012 - 2015 (Age 12-15)
Starts racing in Italian MiniGP and European junior karting circuits.
Becomes a sensation in Moto3-style pre-academies. Karting coaches say she’s the best rain racer they’ve seen. Bike trainers say she’s built like a “grip demon.”
MotoGP takes notice first.
2016 - 2018 (Age 16-18)
Joins a Moto3 team academy, while quietly training with a Formula 4 junior program.
Age 17 — Wins back-to-back Moto3 races. Becomes known for terrifying late braking. Gets a private invite to test a Formula 4 car in Spain.
Moto always gets her heart. F4 builds her balance.
2019 - 2022 (Age 19-22)
2019 — MotoGP rookie. Wild. Fast. Unpredictable. Crash in Assen. P4 in Valencia. Crowd obsessed.
2020 — Titled as the “Queen of Rain.” Wins Austria and Silverstone in full wets.
2021 — Fights for the title. Massive rivalry with a top rider. One overtake at Mugello becomes iconic.
2022 — Her final season. Wins in Misano, crashes in Thailand, wins again in Valencia.
2023 — (Age 23)
Joins a midfield Formula 1 team. Motorsport world divided: MotoGP fans devastated. F1 fans suspicious.
Still trains on a bike during off weekends. Secretly races in a local karting championship under a fake name.
2024 — (Age 24)
Signs with Mercedes F1 team. Bike community still claims her. Pecco shows up to her race. She does a MotoGP-style burnout after qualifying P2 in Austria.
2025 — (Age 25 — Current year)
More than three podiums in the first half of the season.
Plans to ride a MotoGP test bike again during the summer break — “just for soul maintenance.”
Still sneaks into local karting circuits for night laps.
