A Word From The Word inspired by a typical conversation amongst Brothers in Christ

Brothers and Sisters I need you to read this slowly and with careful consideration to where you are in your walk with Christ:

“Therefore let anyone who thinks he stands [who feels sure that he has a steadfast mind and is standing firm], take heed lest he fall [into sin]. For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.” (1 Corinthians 10:12-13 AMP)

So what brother Paul is saying is don’t be so sure of the ground on which you stand or the knowledge you’ve attained. If for a moment you believe you’ve been there done that, you’ve graduated from life’s difficulties; you will surely fall. Then the author comes back to encourage us by reaffirming the fact that there is nothing we face that is beyond God’s ability to deliver us from. He will even go so far as to provide a landing place, which leads me to believe He will lift me out of my circumstances to a place of prosperity, a place of rest, a place I can renew my strength. I picture a quiet stream and peaceful meadow. Then even though temptations come, it won’t overcome me unless I lean into my own strength. I just need to be still, wait, and watch Him work it out. PRAISE JESUS!!!!

Grace and Mercy of God be upon us all my dear brothers I know the writer must have had us all in mind when he wrote that we must put on the full armor of God. In order to be prepared for the battle and war against the enemy and his tools. Do not faint at the time of battle for God is a fortress and a strong tower. He is the lighthouse that stand in the darkest hour. Take the refuge of protection under his shield and the Word of God be your guide.
