My Narrative Watercolor painting. The assignment was to choose a book, and make a watercolor or oil painting of a scene. And I choose my favorite book that you all may know already. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, duh, don’t judge me. And I choose Chapter 3, “The first appearance of Esmeralda”. My professor said loved the colors and lighting and shadow but next time work on my clarity. But I liked the abstract and the shapes I did, I personally like this piece, and watercolor is tricky and I’m still practicing on it and i still will keep practicing this technique. I did went back to make a couple changes but I am so proud of this piece that I had abandoned a few months ago. And honestly hurt me a little working on it by the tragedy last month but enjoyed creating every detail I’ve invested, it was painful but love this piece.
