did I ever tell you guys about my prattles pins headcanon

when the sanctuary was first being built, they needed funding for all of it (pretending money has/had value). So they made Prattles, a candy with a collectable pin and a few fun facts about the animal and how close it is to going extinct.

This helped them get money as well as raise awareness that so many of these beautiful species were slowly dying out. It also explains why there are only animals that humans don't know on the pins.

The candy and pins were such a hit that they continued making them, and every bit of profit always goes to the sanctuary.

How much of the koltc wikia do you think is canon?

This is undoubtedly a better question for Cath (@everliving-everblaze), former Kotlc Wiki owner, but based on my experience I'd say the vast majority of it?

There are a few pages, specifically the relationships pages, that start to stray, but outside of that it seems very dedicated to the canon. Those are only a small portion of the 1000 different pages. And even they do cite specific instances the characters interact in canon.

But again, take with a grain of salt! presuming I understood the question
