Why shouldn’t I? I’m having fun and finally giving myself self-love for once, don’t take it from me.

There’s no need to be so protective over a canon ship to where you view it as the only valid option in this world. Besides, many others ship it and you get A LOT of content, don’t invade other spaces. My selfship takes place in an alternate universe, one that isn’t canon. “Ship erasure” doesn’t exist because they will always be canon in the source and if that ever changed, that’s on the creators.

It’s “weird”? Being weird is a good thing because it shows you’re not going to bend over to social norms, it shows that you’re unique and special. No one should be punished for who they are.
