Hello! I’m Silla. I’ve been selfshipping since 2020 (joined the community in 2021) but I, for some reason, stopped interacting with it near the end of 2023. I want to get back into using Tumblr and having selfshipping pride which is why I made this blog.

I selfship with Severus Snape. Yes, I’ve read the books and I LOVE HIM STILL! I use selfshipping as a way to express myself and get my emotions situated since the thought of physical relationships is terrifying. I know Severus is popular and was around years before me but I don’t share. I’m a very possessive and clingy person. Please block me if you also selfship with him. Why shouldn’t I? I’m having fun and finally giving myself self-love for once, don’t take it from me.

There’s no need to be so protective over a canon ship to where you view it as the only valid option in this world. Besides, many others ship it and you get A LOT of content, don’t invade other spaces. My selfship takes place in an alternate universe, one that isn’t canon. “Ship erasure” doesn’t exist because they will always be canon in the source and if that ever changed, that’s on the creators.

It’s “weird”? Being weird is a good thing because it shows you’re not going to bend over to social norms, it shows that you’re unique and special. No one should be punished for who they are.

Block button is right there. If you’re so upset that I’m ruining your “perfect canon ship,” then block me or scroll. Why don’t people do that anymore?
