I just watched the Pilot

So I just watched the pilot (I know it came out a couple weeks ago but lol) and why does Lady DeVOID eat? And why do people like Eclipse so much? He's such a loser; it's giving lame Chat Blanc. I mean come on, people, Zira is right there.

Bio

Athena, originally named 'Crescent Moon', is the daughter of Starscream and Skyfire. Both of her parents joined Megatron’s group, the Decepticons, when the war began. Neither Starscream or Skyfire wanted their daughter to be a soldier, so they made an arrangement with the ex gladiator to have Athena train as a medic.

However, when her life was almost put in danger and when Cybertron was dying because of the war, Skyfire had faked both his and Athena's deaths so they could escape and live a peaceful life as neutral bots and stay out of Megatron's sight.

However, her life changed for the worse when Skyfire became sick with the Cybonic Plague, and he sent the still then young Athena to live with an old 'acquaintance' of his and Starscream's, as he didn't want her to be alone with his diseased corpse. However, on the way she was captured by a group of neutral bots who planned to sell her for parts, so Athena escaped and ran into the infamous bounty hunter Lockdown, who had hired to bring the group to his contractor dead or alive.

After incapacitating the neutral bots, Lockdown begrudgingly took in Athena and trained her so she knew how to take care of herself. When she was older, Athena changed her name to what it currently is know when she pursued her own career as a bounty hunter. Eventually, she crash landed on Earth and met the Autobots who accepted her into the team, where she'd meet, befriend, and fall in love with the bright yellow scout Bumblebee.

Appearance

Athena has a tall and slim frame with silver face plates, large wings on her back, and her armor is colored fuchsia with ruby red accents. Her optics are the typical Cybertronian blue, which she inherited from her sire Skyfire.

When she was known as 'Crescent Moon', Athena's original paint job consisted of dark grays and white.

Personality

Athena is seen as aloof and independent: even from a young age she liked to do things by herself and didn't really see the need to befriend others. Though this wasn't because she thought she was better than everyone else, Athena simply liked her own company and saw the act of making friends to be 'troublesome'.

Athena was also more comfortable with those she's known since birth, like her sires and the Seekers that Starscream was acquainted with back on Cybertron.

However, when she got older, Athena started to feel lonely and desired to make friends, though it was difficult for her due to her awkwardness and aloofness.

When she does make friends, Athena is very loyal and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep them safe and happy, even at her own expense.

Athena went through several name changes before her current one was settled: her old names were 'Solstice' and 'Crescent Moon'. She is named after the Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom.

She was originally going to be a child of Starscream and Megatron, though that was later changed to have her other parent be Skyfire.

Athena likes to watch human horror films. One of her favorites is The Cabin in the Woods.

For TFP, Athena would have met the Autobots during the second season, where her pod crashed on Earth and she'd become a double agent for them when she joins the Decepticons.

Bumblebee and Athena's relationship can best be described as being similar to the 'golden retriever boyfriend and black cat girlfriend' trope.

She likes to read both human and cybertronian literature.

Her wings are a bit sensitive and ticklish.

Athena would help Lockdown with taking care of his mods.

For TFA, Athena is taller and stronger than Bumblebee, allowing her to carry him with ease.
