I'm making an AU for Undertale. If you're interested I will be posting it on Wattpad first (usernamae: CortneyGalleciez). It's called powrtale. If anyone has an issue with the name (like it's the same as another AU) then let me know and, if you don't mind, you could help me come up with a new name. I'm bad at names. Also, I need a nickname for Sans in this AU, lol. Could someone help with that??

The basic promt is that everyone (humans and monsters) how some kind of super powers. I don't wanna spoil too much (if anyone is acutally interested).

I did use powers from My Hero Academia because I just thought that they would fit. It's not a crossover thing or anything like that. The show has a lot of cool and unique powers that I really like.

(This is my favorite song from Undertale btw. I don't use Tumbler that much so I did know I could do this.)

For long time I was thinking about Rangers AU for Undertale. Probably RengerTale or PowerTale. I'm not shure yet.

I've got for now plot plan and few concepts.

I'll show you more details soon, for now here is first concept of Undyne armour, Red Ranger od the Cristals.

Yeah, cristals will be important part. I'll write more about it in next post.

In there betty and sans are sibling because a certain human killed papyrus,frisk and chara are bff but frisk didnt know that chara is actually a genocidal psycho and on the right she is SINTIA she is the one that killed papyrus so she executed herself from people she is mysterious and has a black with a tint if red called the GUILT SOUL,frisk as always has a DETERMINATION SOUL,chara has the SINS SOUL is colourd gold,betty has the FEAR SOUL but is actually nice kumu is in her heart pin,sans has the BRAVERY SOUL............

Sans:he act like papyrus,enthutiastic,optimistic,a innocent little kitty,love to cook especially waffle(is actually horrible) want toriel to put him in the guard,fear of sleeping,says mwi hihihihi(running out of idea to think of a word),REALLY REALLY LOVE betty,is 16 year old,want to capture a human,love to make puzzle's,hate puns,is friendly,love to go to alphys bar with betty,help grillbys with his experiment,always obey queen undyne and king mettaton,is a big fan of napstabot,love to read at asgore library,an easy target to kill at genocide path,wear a cat hoody because of something apart from his memory,forgot all about papyrus death only remember betty as his dear sister,love hugs,a dear sweetheart,nice,kind,caring,ablivious(too oblivious),too innocent for this world

My OC’s/AU’s:

Mutemare (he/him)

Literally just nightmare but mute. I think the fact he can’t talk makes him 10x more easier to annoy. (Mutemare covers both passive and corrupted.)

Azulis (she/her)

A tall slim anthro cat with blue-grey fur and glowing red and blue markings. She’s quite grumpy most the time and is a bit edgy, but she can be nice. She owns a cool sword btw, it’s her favourite possession.

Toast (he/him)

Just a short Protogen. He’s very happy all the time, is extremely fluffy, and is more than happy to give you a hug. He loves bread, toast and toasters. Anything bread related really.

Patchwork (he/him)

Just a wacky oddball edgy anthro cat. He has a floating head and a zipper on his mouth. Always happy and friendly,but in that creepy kinda way. Loves to stitch and sew. Wouldn’t recommend hugging, his fur is irritating and dusty.

Radiation Sans (he/him)

Just a bundle of radioactive happiness. Glows slightly, and emits slight amounts of radiation. Wouldn’t recommend feeding him any radioactive materials. He’s very friendly though!

Wings Sans (they/them)

Edgy, has half a soul, and will vent at any given chance. They have their own layer of reality (it’s too much to explain here). They struggle with the concept of emotions, although they sometimes feel them. Has 4 wings. One in left eye, one on right of their back and one in the palm of each hand. They can very vaguely sense emotions around them too.

Puppet-Master sans (he/him)

Edgy oddball goof. Very small and weirdly adorable. They turned everyone in their au into hiveminded puppets that he can mind control At will. Though, he did it for what he believed was right. He was tired of conflict and Decided nobody can fight if you all think the same. Wouldn’t recommend trusting him if he tries talking you into joining his ‘peace’.

Arora (she/her)

A tiny knee height jet black dragon with purple and magenta eyes. Very elegant and intelligent. Can travel the entire multiverse (that could entirely be its own post, I have full facts and theories about it.) Shes very very old (2501 years old) and has kinda just become sarcastic and bored over time. It’s hard to describe her in words, you just have to get to know her.

Void Sans (any pronouns)

He doesn’t have an au. There was a glitch in the code somewhere and he was accidentally created as a direct result of that. Because of this he has no soul, and until he gets one he will one by one fall through different layers of existence until he stops existing all together. He has already left the physical layer of existing, you cannot touch him or physically interact with him. He’s currently trying to negotiate with wings for their soul.

Book Sans (he/him or they/them)

They’re friendly and talkative! And a little loopy from spending so much time alone. They live in an au that’s entirely just a infinite library, and all the books are every single au and headcanon. The au is near impossible to teleport to, and he never leaves there anyway. Most people don’t know they or their au exists at all. They spend their time reading and tending to the books.

Light Sans (She/her or They/them)

They’re generally friendly, but will see themself as a ‘higher being’. She loves being the centre of attention and talking about herself and her power, and will often use her Dragon form to show off. She’s quite apathetic towards her sister, Aurora. Light is the Positive god of their AU, PowerTale.

Aurora sans (she/her or they/them)

Is friendly, and likes being the centre of attention, but is much more grounded and less selfish than her sister. She’s the god of negativity in her au. She generally only uses her dragon form for practical purposes, but also enjoys fusing with normal people for a few seconds to feel their reaction to suddenly hosting such a vast amount of energy. She’s also a teensy bit flirty.

Friends: Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Chrisk Rockur, Monster Kibo, W.D. Gaster, Jessica Grey, Chara Dreemur, Betty Noire.

Gender: Girl.

Frisk dyed her hair for yellow colour.

Undertype is continuation of a recently deleted AU named “Powertale”(By acieoJ on ao3), which is said to be one of the most unstable AU to exist. Powertale is said to be destroyed after the anomaly who’s soul was undetermined, broke and a button is made along with her existence, named HACK.

While the AU is broken, Ink found the unique code within the said anomaly and begun to construct a new universe from there. Ink began by making an entity who resembled the anomaly, with the same code found to linger in the multiverse. The being was normal, but expressionless, they spoke in the most minimal possible, sometimes one-liners.

A few weeks has passed and the entity began to act out, until the undetermined soul became too much for the entity and consumed them. It began to cause a massive destruction several universe, far more damage than Error himself could make. They dubbed it “Code Breaker”

Ink theorized that it was a coping mechanism for the entity after surviving from the void for 700 years, only to be free by borrowing existing code within the universe, such as Sans’ magic code, Frisk DT code, all the monster’s expression code. Ink knew that using a part of any existing code within a universe could calm the beast, so he contained Code Breaker, dismantled it’s code, and reworked the entity from scratch. He used a piece of code from Sans, and the undetermined soul was given a name. The soul was not of the seven main colors, the soul was a persevering one, but due to their circumstance of the void, and the moment they lost HoPe, the soul lost perseverance, and became an black empty soul.

When the entity got free from the void, the soul was trying to fit itself in this specific universe, but with their freedom, they gave birth to the now destroyed PowerTale Universe.

Once Ink finished the entity, the first thing he asked was “Who are you?”, and “What is your soul trait?”

“My name is Ira Armé, and My soul is WRATH.”

Lastly, he made a new universe, but he never expected this universe to have the machine fixed, and several copies of Sans and Papyrus gathering to that one universes. This universe, noticing an entity with a Sans code on it, automatically made an entity akin to Papyrus, except the code was not too similar to PApyrus, except the string, “Little sibling”, and an original soul type of “DEVOTION”

He observed that Universe, noticing how magic is now evolved and diverse than it was during it’s historical war, and thus called “Undertype”

Ok so- continuing with characters/ AU’s that were made as plot points/ Self inserts.

Ill start with my most recent and potentially most thought out one. I gave it a placeholder name cause- ya know, it was only a daydream it didn’t need to be anything special I just needed a flowing story. So-

It’s called PowerTale. It exists along with all the other AUs so it’s not some standalone, in fact it’s very tightly tied in with Dreamtale , but only by things which, once again, we’re shitty little plot points that are almost ENTIRELY not canon. Basically, it’s the same concept as Dream and nightmare, siblings where one is negativity, one is Positivity, but these are like the hyper powerful versions. Their entire au was a palace split 50/50 made entirely of positive and negative energy. They have wings and energy flowed freely from their eyes and the tips of their wings.(positive one is called Bright, Negative is Aura)

They have colour schemes similar to that of their dreamtale counterparts (Aura was like Corrupted nightmares teel rather than passives purple). And, for a comparison of just how much more energy they contain, Dream and nightmares energy forms are small lil energy orbs, these guys energy forms are whole ass dragons, at least the size of a small flat. It’s enormous for dream to vomit just standing near to Aura, and for nightmares goop to sizzle just being near Bright. Also, Bright and Aura are much older than even the dreamtale twins. They’ve taught themselves to detach from the events of the world, as they’ve lived long enough to realise how meaningless things are. Their ‘motto’(?) is “if the value of something lies in the emotions, then that value is fake” . This makes them seem a little like they have a god complex if you try interact with em. They always act like others are little children, blind to the world. They seem to pity people who haven’t learned to let go of emotional value to things.

Now for the headcanons about how powertale and dreamtale are connected. This is mostly based on headcanons about how positivity and negativity work as a whole. Basically, Dreamtale is the producers and PowerTale is the…emitters? The PowerTale siblings would explain it through laughter as they realise Dream and nightmare call themselves the guardians of their respective energy. They don’t protect the emotions themselves, they protect what creates them, the apples. The apples create the energy, however without PowerTale, the energy wouldn’t go anywhere. They emit their respective energy into the multiverse by merely existing.

Aura made a huge deal of explaining to nightmare that corrupting the golden apple wouldn’t destroy positivity. It would simply halt production of positivity, but there was still a huge backlog of positivity to be emitted, so even with the apple gone , positivity would exist just the same for about 500 years, then take another 500 for the existing positivity to finally fizzle out.

Now, how Dreamtale and PowerTale siblings can interact with each other/their AU homes.

Well, imma be honest, Bright is an asshole, bordering somewhere between narcissism and selfishness, so them and Aura have constant deadly battles (which any one of could be death battles because they’re MUCH more brutal-) and when they fight, they tend to use their energy dragon forms. If dream were to team with Bright, if they both turned to their energy forms, Dream could temporarily merge with Bright. Because dreams power is so minuscule compared to Bright, it would have no effect on their size or strength, however Bright could hand control of their dragon form over to dream like this. Bright could just as easily snatch back control and kick dream out-

Nightmare and Aura is a lil more interesting. Aura hates to admit it but they’re mildly impressed by the power levels of such a “lesser being”. Much like bright and dream, if nightmare and his goop merged with Aura’s dragon form, they could share control, however this will also add tentacles to Auras dragon form (which no matter what, nightmare has control of, unless he hands over control, but he can take back control of his tentacles at any point). When nightmare is in control of the form, the dragon appears goopy, like Nightmare, but when Aura is in control and they’re merged, the goopy dragon form is still visible, but is surrounded by a translucent cloud of the negative flame like energy the dragon would normally be made of.

One last thing. If nightmare was to try go to the positive half of the PowerTale AU, it’d be like those videos of the laser things cleaning coins. It’d just sizzle the goop right off him revealing his passive form underneath it. Wouldn’t take a second, all it takes is a millisecond slip. In the negative half however, excess goop is constant formed and drips off him in an unending cycle as the negative half is even too negative for him to fully handle.

Dream in the positive side of PowerTale would literally glow like a lightbulb- but in the negative side he would immediately be weakened to the point he’d barely even be able to crawl- he’d just collapse and be stuck there until he either died (which wouldn’t take long) or someone pushed him either out of the au (would take a while to recover) or shoved him into the positive half of PowerTale (he’d immediately recover)
