Someone around my and my sister's age just posted this on Facebook.

It's comparing Trump to the ancient figure of Nehemiah. All because both "started by building a wall". (One was commanded by the leader of the land to protect his people, and one decided to get himself into the powerseat of the land and build one because he's a racist jerk.) So I did my quick research, and looked up the summary in the Bible Dictionary (the version used by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, btw) of Nehemiah's story. Here's what it had to say:

The image from fb lies. Nehemiah's story didn't start with the building of his wall; it started as the cupbearer to the king. Not only a serving position (which, I'm sure we all know by now, Trump has never served anyone but himself), but one of the most important serving positions of ancient times. Cupbearers didn't just bring the king his drinks, they had to guard the cup and the drink that was served to ensure it was not poisoned at any time. The king had to be able to trust his cupbearers literally with his life. So Nehemiah was a pretty awesome guy, who had proven himself to the king many times (every day, in fact, by nature of his job), which led the king to trust him with the entire land, and supervise the building of a wall. Because people back then actually had to protect themselves from actual invaders who actually wanted to destroy the people and their land.

So I don't even know how someone decided to come up with this comparison, but it is wrong, and it's crazy to me that people are still actively supporting him and trying to still justify the crap he pulls with a holy book of scripture.

The video Sean posted was about the comment section and all the bots. Not clickbait, not a pity party. All the things he says about the comments is 100% correct. It’s horrid and YouTube doesn’t care.

It's been like that for what. 7 years now? And how many people have been in this boat complaining? It's a valid issue yes but Sean isn't in a powerseat to do something about it. Just feels the need to dedicate a whole video to his complaints where he hopefully knows nothing is going to be done about since he isn't all that special and his opinion doesn't quite matter that much for the big company that is youtube.
