The Power Above

As a boy I used to look up to the night sky with absolute awe.  The sight of endless stars bearing down on me gave me such a feeling of wonder, amazement and possibility that such infinite magic was right there, just above me.   My parents bought me a telescope for Christmas and we would take it along on regular camping holidays to Scotland.  There in a field I would set it up and spend hours looking at the stars and Moon, like I was viewing a private world that only I could see.  

 I knew names of stars and constellations however it was the vastness that I always loved.  I would stand there in the cold night air listening to the low hum of silence with the feeling that I was on the edge of something so huge, so connected, that I could almost float into it.

  I never thought years later as an adult when my life was falling apart, it would be those stars that would connect to me again.

Both of these quotes seem kinda paradoxical and ambiguous in their messages. But i think its a matter of mastering a healthy balancing act of living with intention without getting too attached to the outcomes. We are given life and its can be a blessing depending on how we use it and use our own individual attributes to add color to the world around us. Its ideal to do the best you can despite whatever life throws at you. I've come to realize that alot of times the ends don't justify the means because even the things, people, and aspects of life that we put our energy into, have a mind of their own. It's human nature to have attachments and attachments to fortify the expression of love to some degree. But expectations and attachment often lead to dissapointment and heartache. It caused the ego to work in overdrive, charged with bitterness or maybe sadness causes the person to detach or numb themselves in an unhealthy way and shut down. And yes, it allows one to evade experiencing pain but it can also come at the cost of experiencing joy as well. People react to things based on their level of awakening and what they experience in their personal and peripheral lives. This also influences those of us that are on the receiving end of the effect, in how we perceive an outcome. But sometimes, the truth can only be seen when we assume a broader perspective beyond our ourselves and our experiences. When you truly believe that you deserve love and a well-lived, meaningful life, you will manifest that regardless of the forces that may conspire against you. When I was a kid wanted to travel to the USA and Hawaii at that moment it would be impossible for financial situation. I remember saying daily that I was going there one day and seeing myself there already. And it happened one day 🙏 But let me be straight with you: Manifesting what you want can be super easy or super hard. The reason manifesting can be difficult is because you are not a match to what you want to manifest, and so, manifesting what you want may seem really hard, and for a good reason. If you’re not a match to what you want to manifest, it will be that never ending running and chasing after a carrot you can’t seem to grab a hold of no matter how hard you try. Don’t worry about the “how?”.
