I know a hundred people have probably pointed this out but Rob Marshall, director of the live action Little Mermaid, also directed Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, aka the one with the mermaids.

Deeply boring designs aside, if you take away the zombies from potc4, the movie is still just the same. they're so blatantly there just to tick off the evil captain with evil ship and undead crew boxes, except this time with no plot importance whatsoever.

I realized that I haven't really posted about Pirates of the Caribbean and that's part of my account, so here it is.
I ship Spangelica (if that's the ship name)
I'm not really a fan of Sparrabeth because of the age gap and the actors weren't even comfortable with it but whatever
I've been re-watching the POTC franchise and I love it!
I'm also currently writing a POTC6 fanfic since we won't be seeing Johnny in POTC6

I was wondering why Tia Dalma/Calypso from the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean was always periceved as a Disney villain when she really didn’t do anything bad. To me Davy Jones was more of a villain because he was heartless and actually killed people. This, along with a discussion with my dad, has made me realize that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has two main types of villains: the one that was cursed and has something to do with the sea who become interesting characters (Barbossa, Davy Jones, Calypso, Blackbeard, and Salazar) and the British and/or Christians who, in my opinion, are the real villains. Usually the first category are the ones that oppose only Captain Jack Sparrow and the second category oppose pirates as a whole. I’m mainly glad that a series portrays Christians as a villain, because while most aren’t bad now, a lot of them were terrible back then. A whole bunch of Christians were committing atrocities against other people in the name of God. They, and a lot of other Christians today, keep on forgetting the two main rules that Jesus teaches us and wants us to follow are “Love God” and “Love Your Neighbor.”

Sam Claflin on Rotten Tomatoes
I thought I'd do a post on Sam's RT ratings. He has FOUR films rated at 90% or over: Journey's End and Enola Holmes both have 91%, and Their Finest and Hunger Games Catching Fire have 90%.
Also certified fresh are The Nightingale (86%) and My Cousin Rachel (76%).
The highest rated thing he was in is Peaky Blinders at 93%. As a guest star, he can hardly claim credit for that, but it's not like any amateur can be cast in such a prestigious show! (Plus it's one of his best performances. At least according to me. And I'm right.)
Riot Club, Adrift, the two Mockingjays and Charlotte are all fresh.
The lowest rated are Huntsman the Winter's War (it used to be 19%, now showing as 20%), in which he only has a short appearance, and Every Breath You Take (also 20%). The rest are 30% and above.
Sam's very first acting job, Pillars of the Earth has 77%, so not a bad start. Daisy Jones and the Six has 70%.

So this is what I've been currently working on. It's the key from Dead Man's Chest! It's not entirely movie accurate as I'm still trying to find some rope or string to tie around the key instead of the chain I have.
It's a 3D printed key that I bought from Ebay. I painted it myself and added scratch marks around it! I'm satisfied with how it came out but I'm still not happy with the chain. I'm defintely replacing that. 😂

Who wants a Cutler Becket fanfic???
I'm doing a bunch of Pirates of the Caribbean x readers and need y'all to send me requests!!!
I plan on doing a James Norrington and separate Cutler Beckett multi chapter story too.
It's just that I'm brewing some ideas and some potc x reader requests will help me whip up something good quick. I'll be posting those too
