The post-techno operatic experience Negentropia: O Último Homem na Terra Devastada, directed by Hugo Paquete, was specially adapted for the Dínamo Gallery. This performance transported the audience to a dystopian, post-apocalyptic universe where electronic music, noise, and interaction came together to explore the final moments of existence—"the end of a man in a harsh electronic desert, a post-apocalyptic cloud where existence collapses into madness and suffocation."

Inspired by the works of Jani Christou, Negentropia reimagined and expanded on Anaparastasis I: The Baritone (1968) and Anaparastasis III: The Pianist (1968), elevating them to new heights of intensity. The performance integrated sound, visuals, and staging into a meta-dramaturgy, using improvisation and CO2 sensor readings to evoke a cathartic reflection on human and technological collapse.

This documentation captures the essence of the October 18th performance, held at 6:30 PM at ESAP Porto (Dínamo Gallery).

0ghost is a project run by Janosch Moldau and his soulmate Martin Schubert. With 0ghost both musicians go on a journey dedicated to find an equilibrium between the machine code and the fragileness of human sounds. The 0ghost microcosm of Moldau’s and Schubert's new tracks is deeply rooted within the machine code but also blends back the human factor into the macrocosm of modern electronic music.

Burial - Tunes 2011 - 2019 (@hyperdubrecords) "You Are Not Alone" Haunted post-dubstep and ethereal future garage from the master of late-night beats. Burial's first two full-lengths were perhaps the most iconic, era-defining electronic music of the 2000s - shadowy, enigmatic, mournful, vaguely militant. Deep dubstep sub-bass meant to evoke empty streets and vacant busses, post-rave comedown rather than big room euphoria. It was more the memory of electronic music, the ghosts of raves past, the feeling of having missed out, of a yearning for a home that never was. 12 years later, we're still waiting for a follow-up full-length statement. And yet Burial has not been silent, slow-trickling out a series of low-key singles and EPs that still managed to lay much of the contemporary dance scene to shame. As with Burial and Untrue, Burial's music remains a drop-shadow of whatever's happening in mainstream electronic music at the moment, as you can hear on #Tunes2011to2019. Here we find stark, streamlined #techno; fizzy-lifting #housemusic; still more #futuregarage and #TwoStep than you can shake a glowstick at. And yet, Burial's music remains more ghostly, more emotional, more artful than many of their contemporaries. It's music for lurking at the margins of parties, for wandering cities late at night, in search of connection, looking for spectres and angels, for shards of human kindness. Tunes 2011 - 2019 has everything you could want from a Burial record - amorphous androgynous vocals, synths strung-out and glowing like Christmas lights, low-slung beats knocking and scraping like a late-night laundromat, like table rappings. It's great to have all of these singles compiled in one place, hearing them all in sequence.
