How I learned to write smarter, not harder
(aka, how to write when you're hella ADHD lol)
A reader commented on my current long fic asking how I write so well. I replied with an essay of my honestly pretty non-standard writing advice (that they probably didn't actually want lol) Now I'm gonna share it with you guys and hopefully there's a few of you out there who will benefit from my past mistakes and find some useful advice in here. XD Since I started doing this stuff, which are all pretty easy changes to absorb into your process if you want to try them, I now almost never get writer's block.
The text of the original reply is indented, and I've added some additional commentary to expand upon and clarify some of the concepts.
As for writing well, I usually attribute it to the fact that I spent roughly four years in my late teens/early 20s writing text roleplay with a friend for hours every single day. Aside from the constant practice that provided, having a live audience immediately reacting to everything I wrote made me think a lot about how to make as many sentences as possible have maximum impact so that I could get that kind of fun reaction. (Which is another reason why comments like yours are so valuable to fanfic writers! <3) The other factors that have improved my writing are thus: 1. Writing nonlinearly. I used to write a whole story in order, from the first sentence onward. If there was a part I was excited to write, I slogged through everything to get there, thinking that it would be my reward once I finished everything that led up to that. It never worked. XD It was miserable. By the time I got to the part I wanted to write, I had beaten the scene to death in my head imagining all the ways I could write it, and it a) no longer interested me and b) could not live up to my expectations because I couldn't remember all my ideas I'd had for writing it. The scene came out mediocre and so did everything leading up to it. Since then, I learned through working on VN writing (I co-own a game studio and we have some visual novels that I write for) that I don't have to write linearly. If I'm inspired to write a scene, I just write it immediately. It usually comes out pretty good even in a first draft! But then I also have it for if I get more ideas for that scene later, and I can just edit them in. The scenes come out MUCH stronger because of this. And you know what else I discovered? Those scenes I slogged through before weren't scenes I had no inspiration for, I just didn't have any inspiration for them in that moment! I can't tell you how many times there was a scene I had no interest in writing, and then a week later I'd get struck by the perfect inspiration for it! Those are scenes I would have done a very mediocre job on, and now they can be some of the most powerful scenes because I gave them time to marinate. Inspiration isn't always linear, so writing doesn't have to be either!
Some people are the type that joyfully write linearly. I have a friend like this--she picks up the characters and just continues playing out the next scene. Her story progresses through the entire day-by-day lives of the characters; it never timeskips more than a few hours. She started writing and posting just eight months ago, she's about an eighth of the way through her planned fic timeline, and the content she has so far posted to AO3 for it is already 450,000 words long. But most of us are normal humans. We're not, for the most part, wired to create linearly. We consume linearly, we experience linearly, so we assume we must also create linearly. But actually, a lot of us really suffer from trying to force ourselves to create this way, and we might not even realize it. If you're the kind of person who thinks you need to carrot-on-a-stick yourself into writing by saving the fun part for when you finally write everything that happens before it: Stop. You're probably not a linear writer. You're making yourself suffer for no reason and your writing is probably suffering for it. At least give nonlinear writing a try before you assume you can't write if you're not baiting or forcing yourself into it!! Remember: Writing is fun. You do this because it's fun, because it's your hobby. If you're miserable 80% of the time you're doing it, you're probably doing it wrong!
2. Rereading my own work. I used to hate reading my own work. I wouldn't even edit it usually. I would write it and slap it online and try not to look at it again. XD Writing nonlinearly forced me to start rereading because I needed to make sure scenes connected together naturally and it also made it easier to get into the headspace of the story to keep writing and fill in the blanks and get new inspiration. Doing this built the editing process into my writing process--I would read a scene to get back in the headspace, dislike what I had written, and just clean it up on the fly. I still never ever sit down to 'edit' my work. I just reread it to prep for writing and it ends up editing itself. Many many scenes in this fic I have read probably a dozen times or more! (And now, I can actually reread my own work for enjoyment!) Another thing I found from doing this that it became easy to see patterns and themes in my work and strengthen them. Foreshadowing became easy. Setting up for jokes or plot points became easy. I didn't have to plan out my story in advance or write an outline, because the scenes themselves because a sort of living outline on their own. (Yes, despite all the foreshadowing and recurring thematic elements and secret hidden meanings sprinkled throughout this story, it actually never had an outline or a plan for any of that. It's all a natural byproduct of writing nonlinearly and rereading.)
Unpopular writing opinion time: You don't need to make a detailed outline.
Some people thrive on having an outline and planning out every detail before they sit down to write. But I know for a lot of us, we don't know how to write an outline or how to use it once we've written it. The idea of making one is daunting, and the advice that it's the only way to write or beat writer's block is demoralizing. So let me explain how I approach "outlining" which isn't really outlining at all.
I write in a Notion table, where every scene is a separate table entry and the scene is written in the page inside that entry. I do this because it makes writing nonlinearly VASTLY more intuitive and straightforward than writing in a single document. (If you're familiar with Notion, this probably makes perfect sense to you. If you're not, imagine something a little like a more contained Google Sheets, but every row has a title cell that opens into a unique Google Doc when you click on it. And it's not as slow and clunky as the Google suite lol) (Edit from the future: I answered an ask with more explanation on how I use Notion for non-linear writing here.) When I sit down to begin a new fic idea, I make a quick entry in the table for every scene I already know I'll want or need, with the entries titled with a couple words or a sentence that describes what will be in that scene so I'll remember it later. Basically, it's the most absolute bare-bones skeleton of what I vaguely know will probably happen in the story.
Then I start writing, wherever I want in the list. As I write, ideas for new scenes and new connections and themes will emerge over time, and I'll just slot them in between the original entries wherever they naturally fit, rearranging as necessary, so that I won't forget about them later when I'm ready to write them. As an example, my current long fic started with a list of roughly 35 scenes that I knew I wanted or needed, for a fic that will probably be around 100k words (which I didn't know at the time haha). As of this writing, it has expanded to 129 scenes. And since I write them directly in the page entries for the table, the fic is actually its own outline, without any additional effort on my part. As I said in the comment reply--a living outline!
This also made it easier to let go of the notion that I had to write something exactly right the first time. (People always say you should do this, but how many of us do? It's harder than it sounds! I didn't want to commit to editing later! I didn't want to reread my work! XD) I know I'm going to edit it naturally anyway, so I can feel okay giving myself permission to just write it approximately right and I can fix it later. And what I found from that was that sometimes what I believed was kind of meh when I wrote it was actually totally fine when I read it later! Sometimes the internal critic is actually wrong. 3. Marinating in the headspace of the story. For the first two months I worked on [fic], I did not consume any media other than [fandom the fic is in]. I didn't watch, read, or play anything else. Not even mobile games. (And there wasn't really much fan content for [fandom] to consume either. Still isn't, really. XD) This basically forced me to treat writing my story as my only source of entertainment, and kept me from getting distracted or inspired to write other ideas and abandon this one.
As an aside, I don't think this is a necessary step for writing, but if you really want to be productive in a short burst, I do highly recommend going on a media consumption hiatus. Not forever, obviously! Consuming media is a valuable tool for new inspiration, and reading other's work (both good and bad, as long as you think critically to identify the differences!) is an invaluable resource for improving your writing.
When I write, I usually lay down, close my eyes, and play the scene I'm interested in writing in my head. I even take a ten-minute nap now and then during this process. (I find being in a state of partial drowsiness, but not outright sleepiness, makes writing easier and better. Sleep helps the brain process and make connections!) Then I roll over to the laptop next to me and type up whatever I felt like worked for the scene. This may mean I write half a sentence at a time between intervals of closed-eye-time XD
People always say if you're stuck, you need to outline.
What they actually mean by that (whether they realize it or not) is that if you're stuck, you need to brainstorm. You need to marinate. You don't need to plan what you're doing, you just need to give yourself time to think about it!
What's another framing for brainstorming for your fic? Fantasizing about it! Planning is work, but fantasizing isn't.
You're already fantasizing about it, right? That's why you're writing it. Just direct that effort toward the scenes you're trying to write next! Close your eyes, lay back, and fantasize what the characters do and how they react.
And then quickly note down your inspirations so you don't forget, haha.
And if a scene is so boring to you that even fantasizing about it sucks--it's probably a bad scene.
If it's boring to write, it's going to be boring to read. Ask yourself why you wanted that scene. Is it even necessary? Can you cut it? Can you replace it with a different scene that serves the same purpose but approaches the problem from a different angle? If you can't remove the troublesome scene, what can you change about it that would make it interesting or exciting for you to write?
And I can't write sitting up to save my damn life. It's like my brain just stops working if I have to sit in a chair and stare at a computer screen. I need to be able to lie down, even if I don't use it! Talking walks and swinging in a hammock are also fantastic places to get scene ideas worked out, because the rhythmic motion also helps our brain process. It's just a little harder to work on a laptop in those scenarios. XD
In conclusion: Writing nonlinearly is an amazing tool for kicking writer's block to the curb. There's almost always some scene you'll want to write. If there isn't, you need to re-read or marinate.
Or you need to use the bathroom, eat something, or sleep. XD Seriously, if you're that stuck, assess your current physical condition. You might just be unable to focus because you're uncomfortable and you haven't realized it yet.
Anyway! I hope that was helpful, or at least interesting! XD Sorry again for the text wall. (I think this is the longest comment reply I've ever written!)
And same to you guys on tumblr--I hope this was helpful or at least interesting. XD Reblogs appreciated if so! (Maybe it'll help someone else!)

accidentally remembered Maximum Ride exists and now I have Thoughts on fixing this mess
first of all 6 kids is too much for the main cast. Iggy and Gazzy get smooshed together to form an explosion loving 10 year old who is Angel's older brother. The experiments that resulted in Angel were first tested on him and that's why he is blind. He loves his sister so much but he is also a child and makes bad decisions sometimes. He sometimes clashes with Max about her leadership.
Max is our first successful hybrid and a proof of concept. It took a lot of testing to make Max work, but once they knew she was going to survive long term, the lab began developing more variations of bird kids based on her. She is Dr Martinez's biological child but all Dr Martinez did was sell her eggs in her 20s with no knowledge of what would happen. Dr Martinez is an otherwise normal veterinarian. Max is visibly not white.
Fang is the second successful bird kid and only a little younger than Max. He is very loyal but not a natural leader and the process they used to make him is different than the one used to make Max and the other kids. This only becomes important later when the lab decides they want a breeding pair and aren't sure if Max and Fang could reproduce. He is Nudge's editor for HER blog, he himself is not interested in internet fame.
Nudge is a wannabe influencer. Max won't let her post her face, but she is an avid social media user and eventually learns to leverage her audience to her advantage by leaking secret science information and eventually begins posting about the flock as a unit to her adoring fans. Max hates this so much until it becomes useful. Nudge no longer hates herself, she just feels like a liar for having to hide who she is.
Angel is the "perfected" bird kid. She has extra abilities compared to the rest of them and Nudge and Iggy/Gazzy are considered failed attempts to create what Angel became. She gets preferential treatment by the scientists at the lab and is sometimes a shit about this. She also thinks shes better than regular humans.
All the bird kid powers are related to actual things real birds can do, such as mimicry and having an internal sense of where North is. Angel being telepathic is not a bird kid power but the result of the scientists testing out a new wave of enhancements. Max and Fang, being early successes, don't have a lot extra. Max has a crazy dive from her hawk DNA and Fang gets enhanced pattern recognition. Nudge gets her emotional sense, which is considered a failed attempt at telepathy, and Iggy/Gazzy has his mimicry but nothing psychic.
We follow a 3 book structure in which we gradually become aware that the lab they escaped from is not unique, but a branch of a secret monopoly company set on an eco-fascist takeover. All the kids were grown from eggs sold to evil "fertility clinics" by young women who had no idea what was going on and may or may not want to reconnect with their bird-progeny. The evil plot is that humanity as it exists is too disconnected from nature and corrupted by modern society, so we need to induce a global disaster to wipe out the population and rebuild with our mutant army. The Flock, having had to run and hide for their whole lives, are initially attracted to this plan until they make real connections to people like Dr Martinez and decide they can't let humanity be killed. There is a brief schism in the group over this but they all come together in book 3 to blow up labs and fight back. Ultimately, it takes Max's leadership, Nudge's exposing everything online, Iggy/Gazzy's love of pyrotechnics, and found family love to expose the plot and destroy the laboratories, while freeing mutant kids they meet along the way.
With the secrets exposed and a bunch of mutants released into the wild, Max and co. are now free to just exist without fear of being hunted. Max and Nudge both get to spend time with their moms, but the rest of the group were not wanted by their biological parents and bond with other mutant kids instead. Maybe they all go to school on a government grant or something. I don't feel like adressin the later books at this point this post is way too long as is

if i let you into my dream, it will also become yours.
welcome to my blog. this is a honkai: star rail reader insert/imagines blog where i casually post my writing! i focus more on headcanon lists than full fanfics. below are more details about what you can expect.
requests: closed, thank you!
✅ -you can send a maximum of 3 characters per request! i favor writing "wholesome" or comforting content. i can write about serious topics if they are treated with care and respect. romantic, familial, and platonic dynamics are all okay!
✅ -penacony and amphoreus characters are most fresh in my mind, but i'll attempt anyone in good faith except l.uocha, d.r ratio, and s.parkle (for my personal comfort, please don't ask).
✅ -this is a safe space for lgbtq+ people, including transgender folks. requests about this (eg. "reader coming out to x character") are okay, but know that your fave will always accept you!
✅ -i will attempt requests related to mental illness or disabilities, but it will help if you're specific. eg. "x character with a reader who struggles with contamination anxiety" rather than "x character with a reader who has ocd" as different conditions can manifest in different ways.
❌ -i do not support p.roship, d.arkship, y.andere, or other things i am personally uncomfortable with. i will not write characters being racist, homophobic, fatphobic, or other forms of bigotry. other topics i won't do: student-teacher relationships, high school aus, detailed depictions of slavery, gore, or other violence
❌ -this is a sfw blog; i am over 20 but do not write nsfw imagines at this time. there may be some lightly suggestive content, as my intended audience is other adults.
❌ -as such, i will only write romantic content for characters who are feasibly adults in the hsr canon. (since there aren't many confirmed ages i'll take it case-by-case)
❌ -i won't post about leaks on this blog! no story spoilers please.
❌ -no use of the word "simp" in my inbox please (appropriated aave)
-if you have constructive feedback about my characterizations, i'm happy to hear it ^^ i try my best to consider each character's personality carefully, but i know some better than others.
-if you just want to chat about hsr that's okay too.

Analysis of Squid Game's last season
Hi!!! I AM SO MAD AT SEASON 3 OF SQUID GAME THAT I NEED TO GET ALL THIS WEIGHT OFF OF MY SHOULDERS BY EXPRESSING MY OPINIONS OUT LOUD.
So let's start..... with the main problems and my damn opinion on my favorite female character's development and last conclusion arc.
I think the main idea chosen for the conclusion of the series was adequate because it gives a raw but realistic ending to it, but the problem lies in choosing to simplify the complexity of the themes that make up the social critique on which the series is based and the development of the final arc of the characters. In this way, the importance of deepening the scriptwriting of this season in general was minimized.
Now, let's talk about one of my biggest issues that still got me up all night dying inside.... My queen: player 120.

I start by expressing my frustration saying that GOD ONLY KNOWS I DIDN'T THROW MYSELF OUT THE WINDOW BY MIRACLE. IT WAS THE MOST UNEXPECTED THING FOR MY FRAGILE HEART. I'LL SEE HER DEATH IN MY WORST NIGHTMARES UNTIL THE DAY I MEET HER IN HEAVEN🫠🫠🫠.
Unfortunately, I must say that 120 is another example of wasted potential. She was and will remain the best female character in the series. A nuanced character. She was a warrior with excellent physical confrontation skills, who faced any scenario with intelligence, but at the same time was tender, pleasant, empathetic, and kind. She has an interesting life story and was excellently crafted. This character is an exceptional representation of trans people, as she was not built on harmful stereotypes. In short, a great character who deserved better treatment in the last season.
Objectively speaking, she was the best new character created from the second season. When building characters of this type, the logical path to take is to give them sufficient screen time to shine through a well-planned and executed character arc until the end of the series. However, in the case of player 120, killing her off in the second chapter (literally the first significant death) made her a victim of premature death, which prevented her from reaching the final game, despite having all the physical and strategic skills to achieve it. The MOMENT and TIMING of her death felt forced and with the superficial intention of only generating a strong emotional impact, rushed and unexpected on the audience. The character was not prioritized, but rather the reaction her death would cause. Her ending felt like a student who managed to get the maximum grade in the approach of an interesting thesis but in the end decides to abandon the study in the process.
As I mentioned earlier, the mistake was the timing of 120's death, because, on the contrary, the way it was carried out is quite realistic and coherent for the character. 120 had the physical and strategic skills to reach the final, but her Achilles' heel, or breaking point, was prioritizing the well-being of others over her own. Due to this, the character would have had a similar outcome in terms of the cause of her death in the final game: she would have sacrificed herself or put herself at risk for 456 and the baby. Therefore, the reason for her death was consistent with the type of person she is. So, the problem with her ending lies in the fact that the character should have had more exposure/development due to her quality in writing and execution, and killing her off at the beginning of the season didn't allow it, but realistically, unfortunately, she would have had the same fate.
IN ANOTHER DIMENSION, YOU'RE IN THAILAND, HAPPY MY QUEEN. My favorite female character without a doubt.
I will continue writing my opinions about other characters i feel the need to talk about if this post gets to be seen by other people that share my points of view or that just want to discuss issues about this series and its characters.

HERMITZINE FAQ
What is Hermitzine, anyway?
Hermitzine is a fanzine, a compilation of illustration, comics and writing based around the long running Minecraft SMP Hermitcraft, with works focusing on the creative projects, collaborations and interactions the creators on the server (aka Hermits) share with their audiences. For each edition, we (the Hermitzine mods) announce the theme we're running with this edition, open applications, and pick our roster of collaborators from the artists and writers who want to be involved.
Once our line up of collaborators has been selected, we invite all the contributors for the zine to our discord server, and the process of making the zine pieces starts! Contributors brainstorm an idea for a piece they want to do, and run it past our mods for approval, then work on it over the course of about 2 months (to make sure people have time to put together something they're proud of without having to ignore things like sleep, school and work). Hermitzine #9 has a little bit more going on with collaboration and format, but we go through that in the application form.
What's the timeline of events for this edition?
The current schedule for Hermitzine #9 is as follows:
March 02 — Applications open at midnight GMT
March 16 — Applications close at midnight GMT
March 23 — Acceptance / Rejection emails go out
March 30 — Check in 1 (initial sketches / ideas)
April 13 — Check in 2
April 27 — Check in 3
May 11 — Check in 4
June 01 — Final pieces are due
Late June / early July — Zine is published
More questions and answers below the cut! (A lot more. Be glad we added the cut).
How do I apply?
Fill out the form (we'll be posting them very soon)! We have a writers application form and an artists application form, both will be open between the 2nd and the 16th of March.
In your application, you'll be answering a few questions and sharing 3-5 of your best pieces, to let us know what you're about as a writer and/or artist.
Then all you have to do is sit tight and wait for our email on March 23rd to find out if you're in!
Who can apply?
We have three requirements: 1) you’re 15 years or older, 2) you can speak enough English to communicate about deadlines and other important zine-related discussions, and 3) you have a Discord account, as that is how all communications with contributors will be made. A free account is fine — we don’t send files through Discord itself, so there’s no need to buy Nitro.
What do I need to do / have to apply?
For all of our applicants, we ask for a small portfolio of 3-5 pieces of your best finished work. We ask for a small portfolio to keep our views of your work focused on what you think is you at your best. These portfolio pieces don’t necessarily have to be Hermitcraft related, or even belong to a fandom. As long as it’s your personal work and you’re proud of it, we want to see it.
For writers: we ask that the 3-5 works you submit are around 3,000 words maximum, since that is the vague limit you will have to work within the zine. You can submit excerpts from longer works as long as you specify that somewhere within the application piece.
Do I need to be well-known or have a large social media following to be accepted?
Not at all. Social media following does not factor into whether or not you’re accepted. You could have one follower or one thousand — either way, we’re looking at your portfolio. You don’t even need any social media at all! We ask for social media handles in the application in case we want to check out more of your work beyond your portfolio.
What do you look for in the portfolio judging criteria?
We look for several things when judging portfolios. For artists, the list includes:
Your ability to finish zine-quality pieces (fully-rendered, backgrounds, not rushed-looking, etc)
Hard skills: composition, color theory, anatomy, perspective, shape language, etc
Comic paneling skills, if applicable
Solid illustration styles that interest us and we want to see more of
For writers, the list includes:
Your ability to finish zine-quality pieces (complete and concise work, with a full narrative if applicable)
Good grasp on writing basics (grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence flow, etc)
Solid writing styles / voice / characterization
Ideas and we find intriguing, interesting, or otherwise would like to see written in full
If either of these lists are daunting to you, don’t worry! We are very interested in people who are eager to try new things and push themselves as artists and writers. We’ve accepted many people before based on their apparent eagerness to improve and collaborate with others.
We also like applicants with a unique or unusual approach to artmaking. Some examples include: traditional media, 3D modeling, photo manipulation, graphic design, typography, poetry, etc. While these skills are fun to include, don’t worry — not having them won’t detract from your chance of getting accepted.
Can I apply for both an artist and a writer position?
Yes you can, but if you’re accepted, we’ll choose you for only one of the two options. For example, if you apply to both and we accept you for writing, we expect you to create a written piece for the zine only, no illustration. This decision will be revealed to you in the acceptance email you get once the application period is over.
Can I participate if I’m a traditional artist?
Absolutely! All we require is that you have a scanner in order to submit high-quality images of your work. We work around the 300dpi range, and unfortunately photos taken with phones or webcams usually aren’t high-quality enough for us to include.
How many artists / writers do you accept?
The number of participants (artists and writers combined) we accept depends on several factors — the most important of which are how many mods we have working on the zine and how much we decide we can handle. Historically, our acceptance count ranges anywhere from 35 to 75 participants, with our most recent editions hitting numbers closer to the top of that range.
How do I know my application was submitted correctly? What happens if the link to my portfolio doesn’t work?
If you don’t receive any word from us from the time you submitted your application to when the acceptance and rejection emails go out, then congratulations, your application was submitted correctly! If something is wrong with your portfolio, like if one or more of your links don’t work, we typically request access — which will then appear as an email in the inbox of whatever email is linked to the drive you shared your portfolio from. If the issue persists, you might receive a private message requesting access from one of the mods on a social media handle you included in your application. If you don’t receive an email or message from us, then everything with your application works.
Do you guys send rejection emails?
We do. If you apply to Hermitzine, you’re going to receive an email from us regardless of whether you’re accepted or rejected. If you’re rejected, we give you the opportunity to ask for feedback with your portfolio.
I applied but never got an email. What’s going on?
If you haven’t received an email even though we’ve announced they’ve been sent out on our social media accounts, please check your spam folder to see if it accidentally went there. This has happened a lot in the past!
If I’ve been rejected from an edition of Hermitzine, does that mean I can never apply again?
Absolutely not! You can apply to any edition of Hermitzine you’d like, from now until forever, regardless of the results of previous applications. We love seeing friendly names show up in applications!
Do people who have participated in prior editions of Hermitzine have a higher chance of getting accepted to the newest edition?
No. Applicants who’ve participated in previous editions have the exact same chances at getting into the newest edition than any other participant.
What content is allowed in Hermitzine?
Requirements for a piece are only to feature Hermitcraft and/or the Hermits primarily, follow the theme, be SFW and not have any shipping content. That means that crossover content (ex: the Empires crossover) and hermit-adjacent people can be included, and that pieces can be about content from any season of Hermitcraft.

About your Gege making people confront death post- I think people are more mad about the gojo/yuuta situation bc of all the people that died. Like they all had their shining moment for what ? Just to keep killing then off and having learned nothing from sukuna. At least for me brining Gojo back that way was so unnecessary bc he’s possibly killing yuuta now as well.Like you’re telling me all those people who died couldn’t have all teamed up together somehow to beat sukuna, they just solely are relying on Gojo.
we aren't sure if yuuta will be really dead or whatever is to come anymore and i can understand why people are mad about gojo/yuuta situation and i even agree about having learnt barely anything about sukuna, they did understand his techniques but that is so little and he's the only ultimate villain we have against whom nothing works and i get your frustration about that part because same. each 2 chapters a character has a shining moment, surprises sukuna only to be killed off later though about if they could've ganged up on him instead of relying on just gojo there were three reasons for that: 1) as mentioned in manga anyone interfering between gojo vs sukuna was only going to hold gojo back that is why they had no choice but to wait and watch 2) when gojo did die kashimo immediately wanted to be able to fight sukuna 1v1 and nobody could deny it 3) when they were finally left to themselves they had to plan meticulously because it is THE ryoumen sukuna and we cannot have just anyone jumping in the battle whenever (henceforth all the flashbacks and explaining). bringing gojo back might seem unnecessary but gege is making maximum use of yuuta here, the sorcerers saw how much gojo's techniques damaged sukuna and we had yuuta with copy ct and kenjaku, he put each one of them to use. these three might truly be the only characters that he's utilised to the fullest and since of course because it'd stir the audience as a mangaka it seems like a great writing option. again i agree with you on some points but i can also see why the recent chapter is the way it is, gege had the chance to the worst thing ever and knowing him he obviously couldn't let it simply go.

Louis put his son Freddie in his documentary because one of Louis’ tactics to hold onto fame is to make himself look like a stand-up guy who has had a lot of shit thrown at him but who has triumphed against all those odds.
He was sidelined during 1D? But look at him on stage now! (1) He never understood the end of the band? But by golly that plucky young man picked himself up and got on with it! (2) He doesn’t get radio play for reasons he can’t put his finger on? But his fans will pick up the slack because he needs them and they need him! (3) He accidentally got a stylist’s assistant pregnant during a fling and she refused to have a termination? I mean, sure, it’s a logistical pain, but look at how he is stepping up to be a dad! (4)
(1) He’s motionless on stage, can’t remember his lyrics, cannot sing, doesn’t really sing for a lot of his set, has a back-up band to do it for him, and has inconsistent ticket sales to say the least, in venues that are far too big for him.
(2) If he didn’t understand the end of the band, what with all the wrapping up of companies that he actually had to sign documents to do, then he’s either mentally incapable or a liar.
(3) He doesn’t get radio play because he isn’t interesting enough and his audience is mentally unstable and bombards djs with demands. He’s also probably pissed off most of the relevant people over the past 14 years. Plus there’s the whiff of racism and misogyny he can’t quite shift.
(4) Except when he’s in the pub.
Louis has had a lot to deal with over the years - it’s hard to lose a parent and a sister, and I appreciate he doesn’t want to talk about those very real things a lot. But, I see him using Freddie in that film to fit in with the story he and BMG have tailored for him, and I think it’s reprehensible. In a world full of Larries with no boundaries and no shame, he shouldn’t have done that.
Love this! Louis and Briana should probably never have shown Freddie's face, and then he'd have had complete privacy like Khai and Bear. But Louis started the ball rolling with a Hello type photoshoot, bare chested and holding Freddie. He put it up on his IG to grab maximum attention for himself.
Of course, after that Briana followed suit and posted their son, but despite being depicted by Larries as the biggest fame whore to walk the earth, she never once did an interview with a magazine despite being inundated with offers. Nor has she monetised her IG by working with brands.

Content Warning!
This art and text contains elements such as:
🚩Dangerous topics
🚩Veins
🚩Weapons
🚩Violence
🚩Aggressive behavior
🚩Trauma
The author does NOT romanticize violence, trauma, normalization of bad behavior and negative patterns!
Today I brought you a little interesting thing.
This is an associative board that I dedicated to the main character of my work! Here is a set of symbols and drawings that have semantic implications, which I will outline below.
I understand that the image and subsequent text may cause concern, as my content may be potentially disturbing and traumatic for a certain audience... However, I can assure you that the only dangerous thing here is what is listed in the disclaimer!
What follows is just an artistic description of the character, nothing more. But anyway... You've been warned, and I hope you won't watch my post if it triggers you.
In any case... All those who stayed, welcome to our hut, ahaha!
1) My character's favorite time of day and the time during which she mostly works is at night
2) The character has bags under her eyes from lack of sleep due to night work
3) The bloodshot veins refer to the character's obsession, which pushes her onto an ambiguous path...
4) Green - is the color of two-face. It can be like regular green - soothing and gentle towards people. And a toxic color that can corrode the eyes.
5) The knife - is the sharpness and harshness of the character's actions, which leads her to physical and moral injuries ...
6) The target - is the protagonist herself... After all, for many other characters, she is the key to solving their problems or just an unpleasant object that gets in the way of those who stand in their way.
7) The hourglass... The main character doesn't have much time....
8) Juniper - this plant once helped our heroine to get acquainted with a beautiful lady who took care of her. Since they rarely see each other, she keeps this gift as a symbol of her feelings and perception of that girl.
9) Bomb - the main character has an explosive temper. In every sense
10) The cleft between the teeth - the protagonist does not despair and continues to smile to spite the enemies
11) A pistol is a manifestation of the maximum concentration of the heroine's attention in moments of struggle. Sometimes you need to focus to achieve more...
12) The mask is the broken dreams of the hero, which she left in the past... Perhaps a reference to growing up, because the protagonist no longer wears it.
Thanks for attention! Today it's all!

How to Get 1,000 YouTube Subscribers FAST 🚀
youtube
Starting a YouTube channel is exciting, but let’s be honest—getting those first 1,000 subscribers can feel like climbing a mountain. Don’t worry, though! With the right strategy, you can hit that milestone faster than you think. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you grow quickly and start monetizing your content.
1️⃣ Find Your Niche and Stick to It 🎯
A focused niche attracts the right audience. Instead of making random videos, choose a niche where you can provide valuable, entertaining, or educational content. Some profitable niches include:
Tech & Gadgets 📱
Personal Finance & Side Hustles 💰
Health & Wellness 🏋️
DIY & Home Improvement 🔨
Gaming & Streaming 🎮
Pick a niche you enjoy and can create consistent content around.
2️⃣ Create Click-Worthy Thumbnails & Titles 🔥
Your video’s thumbnail and title determine whether people click or scroll past. Use bold text, bright colors, and high-contrast images to make your thumbnails pop. Keep your titles short, engaging, and curiosity-driven. Example: ❌ "How to Make Money on YouTube" ✅ "$0 to $10,000: How I Made Money on YouTube FAST!"
3️⃣ Post High-Quality Content Consistently 📆
Aim for 2-3 videos per week for maximum growth.
Use a hook in the first 10 seconds to grab attention.
Edit out boring parts—keep videos fast-paced and engaging.
4️⃣ Optimize for SEO 📝
YouTube is a search engine, so use keywords in: ✔️ Titles (e.g., "How to Get 1,000 Subscribers Fast") ✔️ Descriptions (Include 2-3 related keywords) ✔️ Tags (e.g., #YouTubeGrowth #1000Subscribers #YouTubeTips) ✔️ Captions & subtitles (Boosts engagement & accessibility)
5️⃣ Engage With Your Audience ❤️
Reply to every comment on your videos.
Pin a comment asking a question to boost engagement.
Use polls & community posts to keep subscribers engaged.
6️⃣ Use Shorts & Viral Trends 🎬
YouTube shorts (under 60 seconds) get massive reach. Create 2-3 Shorts weekly with trending sounds and topics to gain fast exposure.
7️⃣ Collaborate & Network 🤝
Collab with small creators in your niche to cross-promote.
Join Facebook groups, Reddit, and Twitter spaces related to YouTube growth.
Shout out other creators—many return the favor!
8️⃣ Promote Your Channel 🚀
Share videos in relevant Facebook groups & Reddit communities.
Post snippets on Instagram Reels & TikTok.
Embed videos in your blog or website.
9️⃣ Ask Viewers to Subscribe (But Make It Fun!) 🔔
Instead of saying “Subscribe to my channel”, say: 👉 "If this video helps you, hit that Subscribe button so you don’t miss out!" 👉 "Join the [Your Niche] Squad—hit Subscribe and let’s grow together!"
1️⃣0️⃣ Stay Consistent & Don’t Give Up 💪
Most channels blow up after consistent effort. Even if you’re not seeing fast growth, keep posting, analyzing, and improving.
🎯 Action Plan: ✅ Choose a niche and post 2-3x weekly ✅ Make clickable thumbnails & SEO-friendly titles ✅ Engage with comments & use Shorts for quick exposure ✅ Promote on social media & collaborate with others ✅ Stay consistent and DON’T QUIT! 🚀
Got questions? Drop a comment below and let’s grow together! 👇🔥

rapid fire list of my smosh-related opinions:
noah grossman needs to have been phased out 3 months ago. people acting like FREELANCER contracts are so fucking ironclad and that's why smosh couldn't do anything are so disingenuous. they phased out saige in 2022, they could've very easily done the same to noah -- they just didn't want to.
eat it or yeet it was fun for the first few episodes, but they ran it to the ground when they realized it was a hit with the locals/casual viewers and they needed those numbers. it's SO absurd that they made 89 episodes and it got really boring, really fast. (i'm glad anthony got to be on it before they got rid of it tho)
i've always found garrett annoying and unfunny for the most part. he's maybe said one or two funny things in all of my time watching smosh and i will never understand how some people stan him or find him attractive.
to be clear even if they replaced garrett as host on eioyi, it would still be boring and stale to me.
i miss kimmy being on camera. she wasn't the funniest and the smiley sunshine persona can be a bit much but she was one of the better sketch actors imo.
i do not want the og smosh games cast back. it's also weird they keep bringing up smosh on their ogsog content. i'm glad they appear to be on good terms with ian and anthony but unless there's ACTUALLY a future collab in the works they need to stop namedropping smosh so much.
i don't necessarily miss saige on smosh but i do miss damien and saige as a couple.
i don't care if people don't like anthony or don't find him funny, but the way a LOT of fans (mostly on twitter and reddit) blatantly disrespect him, the fact that he started smosh, and him literally reuniting with his best friend, just bc they got rid of the unscripted series on main really pisses me off. also he's not to blame for EVERYTHING wrong with smosh today.
HOWEVER, that being said, i do believe there was a better way to transition smosh main. they could've had anthony do a speed run of all of their unscripted series to give them a proper goodbye, and THEN uploaded the sketches.
EBE was a hit or miss, but when they did it well they did it REALLY well.
other than ian, anthony, and finnerty, syd and olivia were their best sketch writers.
people who are genuinely mad that they have memberships now are overreacting. i get that paying for anything sucks but if you're an adult with a job in a first world country $10 USD a month *maximum* really isn't that much. also, they're independent now, that's just the reality of capitalism.
people who act like smosh is above any and all criticism genuinely terrify me. they're a youtube channel and a company, and as audience members we're allowed to critique them.
the old smoshcast was better than smosh mouth, but i might be biased bc ian did host most of them.
agree to disagree was a good series, but they botched it when they started using more serious prompts which caused a lot of viewers to lose respect for some of the cast for problematic opinions.
i used to like olivia but considering she was only in 30 videos last year and she really doesn't seem like she cares anymore, i don't get how they expect any of us to still care about her. also she posted something in support of israel on her story, but hardly anyone knows about it.
i love the guy but shayne doesn't need to be in every video. i get that he brings in the views, but jesus christ.
smosh pit theater is their best pit series, followed closely by beopardy.
i find a lot of their defy era series on pit eg sleepover, show with no name, put it in my mouth, etc to be really boring and i’m glad they got out of defy and sarah whittle was more in charge of pit.
i didn’t like angela at first but i love her now.

Best Google Promotion Services in Delhi for 2025
In 2025, the digital marketing scene in Delhi is more competitive than ever. Businesses of all sizes—from local startups to established enterprises—are searching for effective ways to promote their services online. That’s where Google promotion services in Delhi come into play. These services help businesses reach their audience through Google Ads, local search, YouTube campaigns, and more.
If you're looking to boost your visibility, generate quality leads, and grow your business in Delhi, choosing the right Google promotion service is crucial. In this article, Web Media Tricks shares everything you need to know about finding the best Google promotion services in Delhi this year.
What Are Google Promotion Services?
Google promotion services refer to digital marketing strategies and tools that help businesses increase their visibility on Google. These services typically include:
Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube Ads)
Google My Business (GMB) optimization
Local SEO for better rankings in local search results
Performance tracking and analytics
When offered by a professional digital marketing agency in Delhi, these services are customized to suit local customer behavior, budget requirements, and industry trends.
Why You Need Google Promotion Services in Delhi
Delhi is one of India’s largest and most dynamic cities. Whether you’re running a clinic in South Delhi, a fashion store in Connaught Place, or a tech startup in Noida, the local competition is fierce. Having a strong presence on Google gives your business a real edge.
In 2025, more people will be using mobile devices and voice search to find services near them. “Best doctor near me” or “top coaching center in Delhi” are common queries. If your business doesn’t show up at the top of these search results, you’re losing potential customers. That’s why investing in professional Google promotion services in Delhi is no longer optional—it’s essential.
Core Services Offered by Google Promotion Experts
Let’s break down what a professional agency offers when you sign up for Google promotion services in Delhi.
1. Google Ads Management
Google Ads (formerly AdWords) is the most powerful paid advertising platform available. With expert ad management, your campaigns are targeted, optimized, and monitored daily. This includes:
Keyword research and targeting
Ad copywriting and creative testing
Bidding strategies for maximum ROI
Location and device targeting
Delhi’s audience is diverse, so local targeting is critical. A campaign targeting South Delhi shoppers will differ from one aimed at students in North Campus.
2. Google My Business Optimization
One of the most overlooked parts of Google promotion services in Delhi is optimizing your Google My Business profile. This is the listing that appears on Google Maps and local searches.
Services include:
Updating business information
Adding images and posts
Managing and responding to reviews
Ensuring correct business categories
An optimized GMB profile increases your chances of showing up in the top 3 results when people search for services “near me.”
3. Local SEO
If you're not running ads, Local SEO is your best bet for visibility. It helps your website and GMB listing rank higher in organic search results. Top agencies in Delhi offer:
On-page SEO with locally relevant keywords
Local backlink building
Schema markup and technical SEO
Content creation focused on Delhi-based topics
This strategy builds long-term traffic and reduces dependency on paid ads.
4. YouTube and Display Ads
Video consumption is growing rapidly in India. YouTube ads allow you to showcase your product or service through short videos, especially useful in a market like Delhi. Similarly, display ads on Google’s network can be used to retarget website visitors or attract new ones.
These ad types are visually engaging and ideal for branding, retargeting, and generating awareness.
5. Performance Analytics and Reporting
Any service worth your money must deliver results. With performance tracking, you’ll know exactly how your ads are performing.
Agencies offer:
Real-time campaign dashboards
Monthly performance reports
ROI calculations
Optimization recommendations
This level of insight allows you to improve continuously and stay ahead of your competitors in Delhi.
What Makes the Best Google Promotion Services Stand Out?
Not all agencies offering google promotion services in Delhi are created equal. To make sure you're choosing the right partner, look for these qualities:
Proven Experience
Work with agencies that have a solid track record in handling Google Ads and local SEO for Delhi-based businesses. Ask for case studies or past campaign performance results.
Google Partner Certification
Certified Google Partners have proven expertise and get early access to new ad features. This ensures your campaigns are handled by trained professionals.
Local Market Knowledge
Delhi is unique—culturally, economically, and demographically. The best service providers understand Delhi’s market segments and create campaigns that resonate with the local audience.
Transparent Pricing
Great agencies are upfront about costs. You should know exactly what you're paying for—whether it's ad spend, management fees, or add-on services.
Ongoing Support
Marketing is not a one-time task. Choose a provider that offers ongoing support, monthly reviews, and strategy adjustments based on results.
How to Choose the Right Agency in Delhi
If you’re ready to invest in Google promotion services in Delhi, here are a few tips to help you choose the best agency:
Check reviews and testimonials
Ask for a consultation or strategy session
Review their portfolio and case studies
Discuss your budget and business goals upfront
Evaluate their communication and reporting process
A good agency will not just run ads for you—they will become a strategic partner who understands your business and helps it grow.

Seems like tumblr got me shadowbanned for some unknown for me reason. My posts just not appearing for people and me in tag-wide search and tl.
I remember my posts have gathered plenty of interactions before but now they barely scraping 10 likes, 60 likes maximum for the posts that exploded otherwise on other platforms (like Baldur's Gate 3 fanarts).
Like, it's so discouraging to use tumblr now and to share my works with people here when no one can see it. Gosh I'm so tired...
I've experienced a huge bot influx in my follower count somewhere at the start of 2023 and the fact is that you can't get them unfollow you. My activity died since then. I also tried to promote my patreon as a blog with more content and thoughts as it was a platform that I was comfortable with and a friendly place to battle my social media anxiety. But maybe algorithms and bot influx got me screwed
And now this blog's activity is plain dead and stale and I have no joy to post here anymore because all of it
I'm so fed up with the social media bullshit, the bot influx, fighting to please the algorithms, and new apps trying to replace where you have to figure out how to AGAIN battle algorithms and build AGAIN your follower count. As is already the abundance of social media is REALLY draining, and it's really hard to focus while you have to repost every piece everywhere
I'm just a little artist trying to survive that wants to have everything and my audience in one place to share my little scribbles ;;
Already filed the complain to tumblr support. I'll promise to reblog my artworks when I'll get a respond and things will get fixed (hope they'll do)
Sorry for the rant. Gotta finally blow out some steam
