My gyaru oc? Well he exists, in my head that is. If you guys would like I can add him to the next character poll but idk if I'd introduce him without him winning.

Honestly I have hundreds of different yandere ocs, and my original plan with the blog was mainly focusing on introduction comics of them and thought we'd quickly have like 20 boys introduced. But what I didn't take into consideration was asks, and the time it takes to really flesh out characters. Sometimes with how much I post it really does feel like I have 20 boys introduced but then I realize we only have 6.

Which is not a bad thing at all don't get me wrong, I feel like this way you guys get to really connect with the characters instead of just having one of two mini comics about them.

Hi! This is Eden here, the mod of Calix and several other ocs. This is to address some concerns, very valid concerns that has reached me.

I’d like to start with an apology.

I’m sorry for writing/compiling Jack’s @/demigod-jack-hearth apology.

At that point of time, I had the mindset that “my friend needs help! And I’m a great friend, I’m gonna help them the best I can!”

But I realise right now, what I did was neither the correct nor best thing to do.

This is an apology directly to everyone hurt by the situation, the people who feel disgusted upon finding out that the apology was NOT written by Jack.

I’m extremely guilty for volunteering to help them out. This mere sentence of “I’ll help out!” jeopardised the impact and authenticity of the apology.

It is valid to be sceptical of an apology that wasn’t directly written by the person who committed the offence and again, I’m sorry for making you not feel heard or seen.

I understand this now and I’m remorseful for it. This was a genuine mistake on my part and this will NOT happen again.

[This is an optional part for people who want to hear my thought process when I volunteered to help Jack. I am not justifying myself. This is for people who need context.

To preface, I think I am a patient and tolerant person. I listen and I give my thoughts out. But this whole situation has made me hate my empathy and my soft heartedness. I value my friends and care about them a lot.

And because of this, as soon as I had a vision of what would happen if Jack posted all his insensitive thoughts, I didn’t want the risk of my then close friend getting hurt. Resulting in me volunteering to take his big chunks of text and reword and make them look like an actual apology.

I was the friend they mentioned in the post.

And I am the friend that regrets helping]

As for Jack. They need help that goes further than a dm between two teenagers.

This does not excuse me and I understand if I am affecting you. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me know!

I have a few other issues, but I feel like it would be imprudent for me to air them out in an apology.

The bright spots of my 2023 were both thanks to Metroid ⚡

I worked hard to develop my fan design for Samus - happy with how she turned out, and excited to draw more of her (and her armors).

And back when it released, I had a blast with Metroid Prime Remastered - my first time playing a Prime game.

I'd wake up before sunrise each day and trek through that mysterious planet - it was a singular experience that I will treasure.

I love that Elizabeth and Darcy are so ready to effectively tell each other they're full of shit. This happens a bunch of times, but I was re-reading their conversation at the Netherfield Ball and they're both kind of refreshingly Done.
