Woo hoo! I got that thing that I didn't think I'd win today! And now I can tell you what it is, because I didn't want to jinx it and have it get lost in the mail or something, lol.

It's a large vintage photo of Elena Vladimirovna with her three daughters when the girls were quite small. I've NEVER seen in anywhere else, not in books or on postcards, so I'm really quite thrilled to have it! I will add it to the queue and share it with you all in a few days!

It was originally listed as a buy-it-now for $400, but no one bought it so the seller relisted it as an auction and by some miracle I got it for less than $75.

--The bottom bit makes no sense to me - probably google translate not being up to scratch, but I'll include it anyway - "UION" ptg. B[or V?]. Cossack per. 11.

I obviously did not write TATIANA 3 in pencil, sadly a lot of sellers do that for some reason and I'm too scared to try and rub it off.

I'll be entirely honest I'm not quite sure what I'm doing when it comes to scanning haha, so it looks kinda pixelated ? I tried to sharpen up the quality a bit here:

aaah big collecting news! this absolutely gorgeous card arrived today! I didn't even know that there were original Russian cards for the White Flower Day celebrations so I am *so* happy! You can imagine my surprise when I realised it is an original 1912 Russian card and not a 1920s anti-Bolshevik reproduction...

The quality is absolutely amazing, here are some zooms (without editing, from my camera phone)

On the back it says 'photo by HIS MAJESTY' in Russian (thank you google translate!) so I'm guessing that Nicholas took this photo. The more you know :)
