its possible that mario (from super mario) has even less screentime of him doing his alleged job than professor layton (from professor layton) does. we see so little of mr layton being a professor OR an archaeologist (much less a professor of archaeology!) but like... think about it. how often do you see mario actually being a plumber

#disclaimer i am not a mario lore expert. i can think of like one mayyybe two instances of him doing plumberly actions?#and its in the movie (the one that came out like. i was gonna say last year but it mightve been two years ago actually)#and also i thiiiink in the smb3 cartoon that my sister and i owned on dvd and watched religiously as kids. im pretty sure at least #like i think there was an episode where they had to save the president because the white house got flooded?#possibly because it was underwater? ithink maybe king koopa threw it down there i dont remember #muffin mumbles
