You all know how every powerful villain has some sort of loyal follower(s)?

I'm thinking of the Beasts having either 1 loyal follower or each of them having their own.

Kinda like the idea of them having just 1 follower ngl. It'll make the dynamics interesting.

We don't exactly know how the Beasts feel about each other (minus Shadow Milk, who calls them his comrades/friends), so I'll wait a little longer to design a character for this.

i don't think anyone besides like 3 of you will actually remember, but when i originally started this blog, i was originally an a-qing blog ! this is because my brother my friend my bestie @/coffinseas ( won't bother u w a ping :p ) is the one i primarily was rping with, and i created this blog mainly inspired by his . i added wrh after a little while to play with being a multi, and also because i like him a lot, and everyone else kinda fell into place for the same reason i picked everyone based on how much i like them from their respective sources ! it's safe to say they're my favourites from them too ehehe

and regarding my thoughts on Alonzo as of now, i have a feeling that they may play a much larger role in the future than we think, by looking at our circumstances i have a vague theory that they too are walking towards a similar goal to that of MC, maybe not saving the city but perhaps cleaning it of its pests? or maybe they're aiming for something much higher than we can even think of as of right now, BUTTTTT WHATEVER it dosnet matter because they do seem like someone we can trust even though they're so cold with us 😅 but this shall not deter me from romancing them because who dosen't want the perfect enemies to lovers trope plus they give me the vibes of an unwilling mother of the group who just happened to be at the wrong and at the wrong time and now have to deal with an asshole (or two) who have the energy of a handful of nasty goblins, in a nutshell they give me big mommy of the two vibes and it's just my gut tell me that but whatever 😃

as for the theory thing, it's just a casual theory but i believe that MC was somehow involved in either possibly running their normal life (maybe they got tangled with one of their family members who was into some shady business) or indirectly caused them great pain which our little MC isnt aware of (or has forgotten) and maybe that's why both Alex and Vincent are so concerned about them. maybe the event was too traumatic in itself even though they no (or a little) hand in it which drove them down the alley of self loathing , OR JUST MAYBEEEE it wasn't MC's fault at all and they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time and spotting them Alzono just automatically had a misunderstanding and blamed them for the whole shit, whatever the reason is Alonzo hates our guts but i shall not be deterred! come at me you ice cold bastard!!

These are interesting thoughts btw! I love those theories as well. There are actually quite a few hints in the game now with regards to Alonzo's reasons for hating the MC, though I suppose they're not easy to find as of the moment. When they get revealed, however, I suspect tears will be shed (more than the flashback and reunion scenes with Wesley combined). It's just that bad tbh.

Okay so, I'm gonna shamelessly admit that I forgot the specifics 💦I can tell you they're tall, but I literally answered an ask about this once and now I can't find it lmao so... let's leave it at that for now.

Hmm... black. Yeah, I think that's what they like the most.

Ah, man :'))) Their favorite flower would probably the Sampaguita. Mostly because it reminds them of their early childhood. The flower also symbolizes hope and humility, concepts that Alonzo treasures a lot.

4. favorite animal? do they have a pet or intend on doing so?

They like bird-watching, if that counts? Alonzo doesn't have a pet, but they used to take care of stray cats when they were a kid. Sometimes they still do.

5. what's their comfort food? or maybe their guilty pleasure?

Alonzo loves spicy foods!!! (some of their faves are laing, sinantolan, and shrimp bicol express)

6. do they like celebrating their birthdays?

Their birthday is actually a very, very sensitive topic to them jdkasjdkajka It brings back a lot of bad memories, but at the same time, some of the memories also comfort them? It's a bit complicated.

I've mentioned it here, but especially in Alonzo's case, I honestly think the MC's the one that should be considered a red flag if we're labeling people lmao. Alonzo also has a very caring side to them, so I'd never classify them as one tbh. But idk. It's very subjective, and I feel like it's your prerogative whether to view them as such or not.

so I'm reading Feast for Crows for the first time and I just stumbled over the story of Ser Galladonof Morne, the Perfect Knight, and I'm getting so many Braime vibes? I mean, the knight who holds honor above all and the one who lost thier heart to them and gifted them a magic sword, like.....I need a minute

YES I’M SO HAPPY TO GET THIS IN MY INBOX

“Ser Galladon was a champion of such valor that the Maiden herself lost her heart to him. She gave him an enchanted sword as a token of her love. The Just Maid, it was called. No common sword could check her, nor any shield withstand her kiss. Ser Galladon bore the Just Maid proudly, but only thrice did he unsheathe her. He would not use the Maid against a mortal man, for she was so potent as to make any fight unfair.”

NOW there is a very clear Jaime and Brienne parallel to this tale with Oathkeeper being the “enchanted sword” that the Maiden (Jaime) gives to Ser Galladon (Brienne) after she lost his heart to him. Just like Brienne and Jaime are beauty and the beast with the roles and genders reversed, their genders and roles can be seen as reversed for this tale as well. (Although, it can even be argued that Jaime is somewhat of a symbolic maid, considering the only person he has ever been sexual with is his twin, and since there’s that delusion of being the same person then…) Oh and this story? IS TOLD BY BRIENNE. It’s introduced IN HER POV like………….

Oathkeeper? Yessum. Valyrian steel is forged from magic and is known for being incredibly sharp and superior to ordinary swords.

And then Crabb responds to the story like

Crabb thought that was hilarious. “The Perfect Knight? The Perfect Fool, he sounds like. What’s the point o’ having some magic sword if you don’t bloody well use it?”

“Honor,” she said. “The point is honor.”

That only made him laugh the louder. “Ser Clarence Crabb would have wiped his hairy arse with your Perfect Knight, m’lady. If they’d ever have met, there’d be one more bloody head sitting on the shelf at the Whispers, you ask me. ‘I should have used the magic sword,’ it’d be saying to all the other heads. ‘I should have used the bloody sword.’ ”

And then later Brienne is all

“I should have used the magic sword.” 

“Podrick,” said Brienne. “There’s a sword and scabbard wrapped up in my bedroll. Bring them here to me.”

And

It wasn’t fair. She could not fight without her magic sword. Ser Jaime had given it to her. The thought of failing him as she had failed Lord Renly made her want to weep.

Unlike the show, Brienne keeps Oathkeeper hidden most of the time, and only uses it against men in two separate occasions to defend herself.

As for what this little tale could maybeeee mean for her character (besides the obvious of Jaime and Brienne being a romance)? Let’s look at Brienne drooling over it.

When she slid Oathkeeper from the ornate scabbard, Brienne’s breath caught in her throat. Black and red the ripples ran, deep within the steel. Valyrian steel, spell-forged. It was a sword fit for a hero. When she was small, her nurse had filled her ears with tales of valor, regaling her with the noble exploits of Ser Galladon of Morne, Florian the Fool, Prince Aemon the Dragonknight, and other champions. Each man bore a famous sword, and surely Oathkeeper belonged in their company, even if she herself did not.

So here GRRM is setting her up to be like one of those heroes, and she even brings up Ser Galladon. SO it’s possible she’s going to parallel Ser Galladon WHICH MEANS there’s one theory that is all like-

“but Ser Galladon was no fool. Against a foe eight feet tall mounted on an aurochs, he might well have unsheathed the Just Maid. He used her once to slay a dragon, they say.”

So they put Chasing Liberty on Netflix and I loved this movie growing up (still a solid romance movie ngl) and watching it made me really want a standrew AU where Steven is the president’s 18 year old son, a well looked after young man who grew up so sheltered and shy and he is so tired of cooping himself at home. He wants to get out and explore and yeah, he has all these amazing experiences because of all the people his mom is connected to but damn if he doesn’t want to explore ALONE. Without his security guards Adam and Annie following him around.

He goes with his mom and his dad to Singapore for a meeting of global powers or whatever and he HAS to meet up with his friend Jin, or Jinnyboy as he’s known to his internet fans, the son of the Malaysian prime minister. Jin promised him a trip to a local club and maybeeee a trip to the Sinulog Festival in the Philippines, one of the largest festivals in any of the islands. But his mother, as kind and lovely as she is will not budge on the festival! That’s fine he can deal with a nice night on the town with Jin and very minimal security, just Adam and Annie, his mom promised.

On the way into the club he runs into cute white man fiddling with a camera. He has deep set eyes and a lazy smile playing on his face once he catches Steven’s eyes. Steven turns to keep his eyes on him but Jin keeps pulling him along, promising many cute people in the club.

And there are. And the club is brilliant. Till he notices stern people in every corner of the building, not flailing to the beat like the people beside them. His mother lied to him! He can’t take this life any more, he needs to get out! Steven runs out of the club, security on his tail, and runs directly into the same white man, now leaning next to a moped. He begs the man to take him away from there as soon as possible. Leading to the biggest adventure of Steven’s young life.

They go from Singapore, to Malaysia, to Thailand, and finally to the Philippines for this magical festival. All the while trying to flee the Secret Service, with Steven not knowing that they were literally one step beside him the whole time.

Andrew, despite his best efforts to do his job, protecting President Lim’s son, he ends up falling for the wild, cheeky, and gorgeous boy who smiles like the sun every time he looks at Andrew.

They make it to the Philippines and the Sinulog festival and everything is just as magical and as glorious as Steven had seen online. He some how finds Jin as well and every thing is great, till he over hears Andrew on the phone talking about getting him to a meeting location with the other person on the line and everything turns on it’s head. He runs.

He runs from Andrew. From the truth he’s yelling at him. But then people notice Steven as the US president’s golden son, and things get bad. Andrew gets him out and onto a helicopter safe, but things are not okay.

Months go by. Steven attends university and things are looking normal, but he can’t forget Andrew. His mother tells him that Andrew quit, went off to pursue his passion.

Steven finds Andrew in California, working the camera on a traveling food series, a passion they both bonded over during their adventure. Andrew looked as good as ever. Happier even. And when his lips found Steven’s after months of being apart? Well that’s the happiest either of them had been in a while.
