Happy almost Valentine's Day! How would you have done 3x15 differently for R+M or even 3x14 going into 3x15? I feel like S3 was their shot at a good Valentine's Day, if Johnny & Sadie (the insufferable apple doesn't fall far from the insufferable tree) weren't in the way.

From the end of 315 I think the story could've been salvaged if Ryan had just showed up to the trailer like the narrative was pointing to. Like I get it, they pulled a cute little bait and switch on us for shock value, but him choosing to end the night with another girl sealed their fate in the eyes of the writers. Marissa's thing with the locket is heavy handed as fuck and genuinely annoying to me but everyone in their universe likes to forget that Marissa feels things and sometimes/most times those things take some fucking time to get over. Like goddamn. I know the Johnny era was annoying to Ryan but they treat him like a touch-starved uwu boy and it makes me sick. Like so what if Marissa was genuinely heartbroken over Johnny dying? Does that erase Ryan giving a shit about Marissa herself who's facing loss and trauma? This is the era where I truly don't recognize him.

So anyway I'd have him show up to the trailer, still confused about where they stand but giving it one final effort, telling Marissa once she awakes the next morning that he'll give her space but that he still loves her and that he thinks she loves him and hoping they can fix all those things that are broken between them. And I'd have her wake up from her Johnny stupor for the first time in months. The way they stretch this plot is so beyond comprehension, honestly. Apparently that was the only way they could figure out how to have Marissa and Kaitlin at odds which is insane.

I wrote a fic a while ago that starts with a similar thing in the trailer.

If we're going off the end of 314, I'd have liked to see Johnny not die but get injured (while maybe also injuring Ryan since he was also on the cliff) and it also being the catalyst for Marissa to wake up from her Johnny madness. This is also something I've written previously but I will not be linking because I don't like it as much, lol. But I think a s3 RM V-day could be very special and very romantic if the writers gave one lick about them beyond 308/309. I see them taking a trip to the Santa Monica pier to ride the ferris wheel and playfully fighting about cheese sticks vs ding dongs.

Going back to 315 real quick I cannot BELIEVE they have Ryan expecting a lighthearted V-day the day after her friend's funeral like lmao they did not give one solitary fuck about character accuracy at this point and just wanted to push the S**** storyline on us because will anyone please just make this poor suffering boy smile for once??

I simply cannot get over the look that passes between Aziraphale and Crowley in s2ep2 when they restore Job's children and all of the angels turn to Aziraphale and ask if they're his new children, and we can see him squirm a little and dodge the question with "they certainly seem to be!" and then a few lines later the angels turn to him with an "Aziraphale, who are they?" an inescapable question, time is limited, he can't hesitate, but he LOCKS eyes with Crowley who is leaning against a post with his eyebrows raised in a whose side are you on stare.

And then it pans back to Aziraphale who hesitates, "They . . . are . . ."

and then he has this LOOK on his face, of acceptance, of resignation, and he makes eye contact with Crowley again, and says "They are . . . his new children."

He was ready to risk it all. Fully believing that he would fall for this. That look is a surrender. And he was ready to do it too.

He holds eye contact with Gabriel, blinking a lot, but not looking away. His smile doesn't reach his eyes. There's a brief moment of relief on his face when Gabriel claps him on the shoulder and believes his lie, but he knows that God will know what he's done. He fully believes he's going to fall for this.

And he looks to Crowley again, who applauds him. Aziraphale looks like he's going to be sick.

He's had several earth-shattering revelations in the last 24-ish hours.

Crowley (the demon) is good, and he believes it with his full chest.

God plays games for fun at the expense of others, and it's wrong.

Gluttony (he ate that entire ox)

Aziraphale believes that Crowley believes that blurring the lines between Good and Evil by questioning God and thwarting the will of heaven are exactly what caused Crowley's fall. (see you in hell)

Crowley and Aziraphale are on the same side, if temporarily, holding onto each other like a rock in a storm, with Aziraphale constantly looking to Crowley for reassurance, trusting him to have his back.

I just feel like its overlooked that this was the FIRST TIME EVER that they teamed up (as angel and demon) and Aziraphale was fully ready to accept the consequences of that. He found something more important than choosing sides.

Spring Possibilities - What To Do With Your Life this Spring!

By the March finally rolls around, I am ready for warm weather, sandals and dresses! I’m ready for long walks in the park with Amos, bringing fresh flowers into the house, drinking a glass of wine on the porch and everything else that comes with spring! When the flowers and trees starts to bloom and the earth is coming back to life, it seems I feel the same way! Get outside and exercise! Go for a bike ride, play pickle ball or take a walk! Spring is such a gorgeous time of year and there’s just something about being in nature (and exercise) that lifts your spirits!

Clean out your closet! Go through your clothes and donate or sell anything that you don’t love or that doesn’t fit! After you’ve cleared some space, put together 10 - 15 spring outfits that you love! This way, when you’re running late, you have something ready to put on and be out the door in no time!

Be sure to update your basics! Consider getting a new short sleeve white tee, a new pair of jeans, a new pair of flat sandals and versatile sneakers that will take you through the season! Consider looking into sustainable brands that are caring for our environment! Make a plate of Deviled Eggs for Easter or anytime! I made these last year and had so much fun garnishing them and putting the platter together! The red ones are pickled and my favorites, but they’re all good and almost everyone loves Deviled Eggs!

Plan a getaway! I love to scent our home with candles and I change them out with the seasons! Nest has the most delicious scents and one of my favorites is the Grapefruit candle! It’s a light, fresh scent that most everyone loves! I also love the Lime Zest & Matcha and it’s perfect for the spring season!
