Your significantly smaller body pressing against his, and you arms try to hug him as much of possible (man is thick and a tower tho gl) and although he's showing nothing with that poker face of his, he's internally melting at how fking cute you are

What a delight to see this after writing nothing but angst

This unlocked my scenario/headcanon idea of him being strong enough to carry you in just one arm, like you can sit on his arm and he'll take you around no problem. But to be hugged by his huge and strong arms matching with his cape, it feels like a big warm hug!

And also trying to hug him fully by wrapping your arms around him ah even better if it's from behind, I feel like it would catch him off-guard more and he won't have to hide his expressions so much since your face is buried on his back.

He almost looked pained (perhaps that's true with how strong his heart beats against his chest) as red dusts his ears and across his cheeks, his hand resting atop yours near his heart. He hopes you don't feel the pounding in his chest.
